(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Las Vegas held a rally, an exercise demonstration, and a candlelight vigil on Las Vegas Boulevard on April 20, 2024, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the April 25th Peaceful Appeal in Beijing and exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

Candlelight vigil mourns Falun Gong practitioners who have died from the CCP’s persecution.
Mr. Wang, a representative of Falun Gong practitioners, addressed the rally.
Mr. Wang, a representative of Falun Gong practitioners, spoke of the background of the April 25 Peaceful Appeal and called it a significant turning point in the journey of Falun Gong. He said that the peaceful and rational spirit of Falun Gong displayed during the appeal had established a moral monument in face of the CCP’s violence, and that Falun Gong’s principles, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, had brought hope to the world.
Many people were astonished to hear about the brutality of the persecution, and signed a petition calling for an end of the persecution. They expressed their admiration of and support for Falun Gong.

Anna, a local resident, couldn’t help breaking out in tears upon seeing pictures of Falun Gong practitioners who had died from the persecution. She told the reporter, “The CCP’s crimes are outrageous. It will pay for what it has done, sooner or later!” She praised practitioners for their work and gave them warm hugs.
Mandy from California said that she had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong, and that she knew about the wickedness of the CCP. She admired Falun Gong practitioners for exposing its crimes.
Paul and his daughters, tourists from Florida, said that the persecution was appalling. They signed the petition and took brochures to give to their friends.
Hansen from Hawaii would like to help practitioners spread the word.
Paul and Angela from India were also stunned when they heard about the brutality happening due to the CCP’s persecution. Paul said, “Communist regimes suppress people with brutal autocracy, but their power will be overthrown, because the righteous will win!”
