(Clearwisdom.net) On February 25, 2008, the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Ministry of Public Security launched operation "F0801" in order to to escalate the persecution of Falun Gong in the name of safeguarding the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. During the operation, at least 86 practitioners were illegally arrested in Liaoning Province, and 16 of them were from Huludao City. All 16 Huludao practitioners were sentenced to forced labor or prison terms following their arrests. Two practitioners were tortured to death, and the majority of the other practitioners are still incarcerated. Wang Lijun, former director of the Jinzhou City Police Department, masterminded and orchestrated the operation of arresting the Falun Gong practitioners in three western Liaoning Province cities – Huludao, Jinzhou, and Chaoyang.
1. Mr. Fan Dezhen, 33, was arrested on February 25, 2008. Two months later, on April 20, he was beaten to death in the Suizhong County Detention Center. His face was contorted with agony, his teeth were clenched, and his abdomen was covered by bruises. The officers cremated his body. He left behind a wife, whom he had married only 18 months prior, and a nine-month-old baby. His parents were in deep sorrow.

Mr. Fan had twice been sentenced to forced labor. In 2001, he went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong and was detained in the Huludao Forced Labor Camp for three years. In order to force him to give up his faith, several guards shocked him simultaneously with electric batons, and they beat him cruelly, causing injuries and swelling to his whole body. His face also became deformed. In October 2002, he went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Guards directed prisoners to cuff his wrists and shackle his ankles onto a metal bed frame for the entire day, and they brutally force-fed him. In one instance, the tube was inserted into his lung, and he almost choked to death. Guards released him once he was on the verge of death. On April 1, 2004, Mr. Fan was arrested and detained in the Huludao Detention Center, and he was again cruelly beaten, force-fed, and released only when his life was in danger. On September 17, 2005, Mr. Fan was handcuffed and arrested at work by plainclothes police officers. He was taken to the Huludao Forced Labor Camp to serve a second forced labor term, where he was again tortured many times.

2. Ms. Yang Xue, Mr. Fan's wife, was also arrested on February 25, 2008. She was sentenced to four years in prison, with two months of her term set to be served outside of prison, as her child was less than one year old.
3. Mr. Huang Lizhong, 48, from the Lianshan District, was a private business owner. He was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to ten years in prison. He was subjected to many forms of torture in Panjin Prison, and he eventually died on October 25, 2009 as a result of the torture.

When Mr. Huang's wife visited him on October 20, 2009, he was emaciated, did not have any strength to speak, and was trembling. This once healthy man now looked frail and old. During the visit, Mr Huang told his wife, "They almost shocked me to death with electric batons." The incident he spoke of occurred on April 20. His family finally understood why the prison had been denying their visitation requests: to hide the fact that Mr. Huang was being tortured so severely. Five days after the visit, however, around 9:30 p.m. on October 25, the prison called Mr. Huang's son to inform him that his father had died.
Between his arrest on February 25 and his death from torture on October 25, 2009, Mr. Huang Lizhong had become emaciated and his body was severely bruised.
Mr. Huang had been repeatedly harassed, monitored, detained, and brainwashed; his home phone was also tapped. He was sentenced to forced labor three times, imprisoned once, and endured torture during each detention. Every time Mr. Huang was held in a forced labor camp, he was not released until he had been tortured nearly to death.
4. Mr. Zhao Liang, from Gangtun Town, is a farmer. He was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to ten years in prison. He is currently held in Jinzhou Prison.
Mr. Zhao has been sentenced to forced labor three times. On June 23, 2000, Mr. Zhao and his brother were arrested and sentenced to one year of forced labor. They were later given two- to five-month extensions. Mr. Zhao was subjected to many different forms of torture, such as being repeatedly slapped across the face, shocked by electric batons, and having his fingers gouged by needles, among others. On April 8, 2002, Mr. Zhao was arrested again by officers from Gangtun Town Police Station. He was beaten from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. the next day, and he was black and blue all over. On June 22, 2004, Mr. Zhao, his brother, and his mother were arrested and sentenced to three years of forced labor. Mr. Zhao and his brother were force-fed and their private parts were shocked by electric batons. They were released only when they were on the verge of death.
5. Mr. Zhang Chongyue was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to ten years in prison. He has been held in the Panjin Prison ever since.
6. Ms. Yang Hong was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to nine years in prison. She is currently held in the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. Because she refused to renounce Falun Gong and perform forced labor, she was tortured and bruised all over. She was locked in the prison warehouse for several months.
7. Ms. Yang Zhaoying, from Suizhong County, was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to seven years in prison. She became paralyzed as a result of the persecution, and she is currently held in Liaoning Province Women's Prison.
Ms. Yang graduated from the Dalian University of Foreign Languages. In 2001, she went to Tiananmen Square and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" She was detained shortly after, and the university revoked her bachelor's degree. Following graduation, she worked in a Japanese joint-venture company. However, the authorities arrested her because she practiced Falun Gong, and they prepared to send her to a forced labor camp. To avoid persecution, she jumped out of a police station window and was severely injured. Her lower body was paralyzed, and the doctor said she would never stand again. However, Ms. Yang insisted on practicing Falun Gong and was able to walk again without any medical treatment.
On the morning of March 21, 2006, before the wedding of Ms. Yang and Mr. Xue Xinkai, Mr. Xue was arrested and sentenced to seven years in prison. He is currently held in Benxi Prison.
At around 6:00 a.m. on February 25, 2008, a group of officers climbed onto the third floor of Ms. Yang's home using a fire truck ladder, broke the window, and jumped into her home. The officers arrested her entire family – father Mr. Yang Guangwu, mother Ms. Feng Kelan, and sister Ms. Yang Zhaofang. Ms. Yang was arrested in Shenyang later that day.
Ms. Yang was subsequently detained at the Huludao City Detention Center, the Suizhong County Detention Center, and the Dalian City Detention Center. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution at the Dalian City Detention Center. She was force-fed with a tube inserted through her nose, causing damage to her esophagus and stomach, and rendering her unable to eat. While in Dalian, she could not walk and was confined to a wheelchair. The First Division of the Dalian Police Department offered to release her and her parents on bail in exchange for a written statement slandering Falun Gong, but Ms. Yang refused. On April 28, 2008, after she was returned to Suizhong County, she continued her hunger strike and was taken to the hospital; she weighed only about 90 pounds. On May 12, 2008, Ms. Yang was tried by the Suizhong County Court while she was confined to a bed at the Suizhong County Hospital, hooked to IV's and on oxygen. She was sentenced to seven years in prison.
8. Ms. Yang Zhaoying's parents, Mr. Yang and Ms. Feng, and sister, Ms. Yang Zhaofang, were arrested on February 25, 2008. Mr. Yang and Ms. Feng were sentenced to two years in prison. Ms. Yang Zhaofang was sentenced to four years in prison.
9. Ms. Zhou Yingchun was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to five years in prison. She became paralyzed as a result of the persecution. Ms. Zhou has been held at the prison hospital affiliated with Liaoning Province Women's Prison since receiving her illegal sentence. Each time her family visited her, she was carried out on a stretcher by four people. Most recently, when her mother went to visit her, she was emaciated and did not have much strength when speaking. She said only a couple of words to her mother, and then she closed her eyes, too tired to talk.
10. Mr. Yang Jiangwei and his wife Ms. Li Xiaoming were both arrested on February 25, 2008, less than one month after their wedding. Mr. Yang was sentenced to ten years in prison, and he has been held in Panjin Prison ever since. In the prison, he was shocked by electric batons, his face became swollen, and he was burnt all over. He was also deprived of family visitation. Ms. Li was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
11. Ms. Pei Zhihua was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to eight years in prison. She is currently held in Liaoning Province Women's Prison.
12. Ms. Shen Wenling was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to five years in prison. She is also currently held in Liaoning Province Women's Prison.
13. Mr. Wang Yuanju was arrested on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to two years of forced labor. He served his term at the Huludao Forced Labor Camp.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of February 25, 2012, Yunhe Domestic Security Division head Tang Guoli and local police officers surrounded the homes of three practitioners: Zhang Libo, Wang Zhenqing and Jia Zhaoqing. The police rushed into Mr. Zhang's home as soon as his son opened the door to go to school. They attempted to arrest Mr. Zhang, but he escaped because he suddenly showed symptoms of heart problems due to fright. Additionally, his family strongly resisted the police's attempt to take him away. Nevertheless, his home was ransacked.
Mr. Liu Weimin went to pay a visit to Mr. Wang Zhenqing. As soon as he knocked on the door and it was opened, several plainclothes police offices rushed in. The police ransacked the house and turned it into a mess. Mr. Wang, around 76, and Mr. Liu were arrested. Mr. Liu's home was also ransacked. The police took their computers, printers, cell phones, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings.
Mr. Jia Zhaoqing's wife, Han Shuzheng, left home at around 9:30 a.m. on February 25 and was arrested downstairs. Participating were five police officers led by Tang Guoli. The police took the key from Ms. Han's purse and tried to open the door to her home. When they couldn't open it, Tang Guoli called for two cranes. Two young men in camouflage uniforms broke into her apartment via the balcony. They opened the door from inside, and Tang Guoli and others entered and arrested Mr. Jia. They also confiscated two computers, a printer, three cell phones, and a bankcard.
Mr. Han Qiang returned home from out of town around 10:00 p.m. on February 25. Officers from the Xinhua Police Department intercepted him as he drove to Weiming Road. The police proceeded to ransack his home and take away his computer, printer, cell phone, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings.
Mr. Jia Zhaoqing, Ms. Han Shuzheng, Mr. Liu Weimin, and Mr. Han Qiang are currently being held in the Cangzhou City Detention Center.

(Clearwisdom.net) Many Falun Gong practitioners in Anping County, Hebei Province were recently placed under surveillance. They were told that they should not go to Beijing to appeal. Four practitioners in three villages and a township had their homes ransacked on the evening of February 23, 2012.
Around 7:00 p.m. on February 23, 2012, more than a dozen people including Ma Chuang and Jia Xu from Liangwa Township government, Anping County, broke into Ms. Wang Jianmei's home in Houpu Village. They searched everywhere and took away a copy of Zhuan Falun and truth clarification materials.
Around 7:30 p.m. on February 23, the authorities broke into Ms. Shi Xiuzhi's home in Qianpu Village and took her Falun Gong books and other Falun Gong materials.
Around 7:00 p.m. on February 23, Mr. Zhao Shude's home in Zhengzhuang Village was also ransacked. More than 30 people participated.
Around 8:00 p.m. on February 23, more than a dozen people from the Liangwa Township government and Liangwa Police Station broke into Ms. Xie Xiugai's home. They rummaged through it and tore up calligraphy with the words “The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities.” They proceeded to remove the photo of Master Li and a Falun emblem. Ms. Xie tried to stop them, but they pushed her aside. Ms. Xie showed symptoms of illness, but the perpetrators didn't care and took away the photo, truth clarification materials, and cash. Through later truth clarification efforts, the authorities returned her Falun Gong books and the photo of Master Li.
Ms. Xie was previously illegally sentenced to nine years in prison, where she was subjected to severe physical abuse and mental torment. She was released from prison last fall and is now in poor health.
(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 25 cities or counties in 11 provinces. As per this report, 17 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 33 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Mr. Yan Congxi and Ms. Cai Guijiao from Qianlianghu were arrested as they distributed Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs in Huarong County. The two practitioners are being held in the Ma'an New Area Police Station.

When Ms. Zhang Ying's younger brother, Mr. Zhang Yinshen, heard that she was arrested on July 26, 2010, he went to help her. However, he was subsequently arrested and sentenced to seven years in prison.
9. [Liaocheng, Shandong Province] Ten Practitioners Arrested
Eight practitioners from Gaotang County were arrested on the afternoon of February 25, 2012, including Ms. Chen Xia, Mr. Guo Zhenjie, Ms. Jia Xiuhua and five practitioners from the Jidier Company. The eight practitioners' homes were ransacked, and their computers, printers, copiers, cell phones, cash and other personal belongings were confiscated.
In addition, Mr. Li Chengmin from Chiping County was arrested at home on the afternoon of February 25, 2012.
Another practitioner, from Jinhaozhuang in Linqing City, was arrested on the morning of February 24, 2012.

10. [Dongying, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xuerong Brutally Beaten in Brainwashing Center
Ms. Li Xuerong, near 70, from Shengli Oil Field, was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on February 23, 2012. She was ruthlessly beaten there.
11. [Renqiu, Hebei Province] Ms. Gong Xiangrui Put on Trial
Ms. Gong Xiangrui from Nanlidian Village, Xinzhongyi Township, was arrested by officers from the Shimenqiao Police Station and taken to the Renqiu Police Department on December 21, 2011. That same afternoon, Renqiu Domestic Security Division agents ransacked her home, confiscating informational materials about Falun Gong and more than 9,000 yuan in cash.
Ms. Gong was twice sent to a detention center, but the center's officials refused to take her in. When Renqiu City Domestic Security Division agents sent her to the detention center for the third time, she was detained there.
Renqiu City Court officials tried Ms. Gong on February 27, 2012. They did not allow Ms. Gong's family to observe the court proceedings.

12. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Chunhua and Mr. Zhou Shaotang Arrested
Ms. Yang Chunhua and Mr. Zhou Shaotang were arrested on the morning of February 28, 2012, on their way to a market in Shixin Town. Officers from the Shixin Town Police Station made the arrest and held the practitioners in the police station.

Ms. Li Xiaolin from Changshou District was arrested on February 23, 2012, as she posted information about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked.

Four Jiayu County 610 Office agents, including Wang Furong, harassed Ms. Wang Jinyan at home on the morning of February 28, 2012.

Yaojiafang Police Station officers arrested Ms. Wu Juntao from Ertaizi, Gaoxin District, on the afternoon of February 24, 2012. They ransacked her home and confiscated many of her personal belongings, including her computer, Falun Gong books and the image of Falun Gong's founder, her cell phone and her daughter’s cell phone.

Ms. Xu Guifang has been sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Changle Domestic Security Division agents covertly arrested Mr. Gao Yuxiang from Junqiuguan Village, Qiaoguan Town, in November 2011. He was secretly sentenced by the Changle 610 Office before the Chinese New Year and subsequently sent to Jinan Prison.

21. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Zongzhi Arrested; Her Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Wang Zongzhi from Wanshan Township was arrested on February 24, 2012. The police also took her husband, Mr. Zhou Mingan, who doesn't practice Falun Gong, into custody and didn’t release him until they extorted 10,000 yuan in cash from him. The police ransacked the couple's home and confiscated two computers and a printer.
The police agents took Ms. Wang to Liaocheng City for a physical examination on February 28, 2012. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
22. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yulan Arrested
Ms. Wang Yulan was arrested on November 20, 2011, and is reported to be facing illegal sentencing.

Jiangshan Police Station officers arrested Ms. Li Huazhen and her mother, Ms. Wang Zufang, from Xiejiazekou Village, Jiangshan Town, on the morning of February 9, 2012, while the practitioners distributed informtional materials about Falun Gong in the Xinglongzhuang Market. The women are currently in detention.
25. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zhang Jinxiu Sentenced to Forced Labor
Kuaizixiang Police Station officers arrested Ms. Zhang Jinxiu while she spoke to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of February 10, 2012. She was subsequently sent to the Nanchang City No. 3 Detention Center. Ms. Zhang was recently sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.
26. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Liao Jianping Tortured in Detention
Mr. Liao Jianping has been tortured at the Sandong Drug Rehabilitation Center (used as a detention facility) in the Huiyang District.
27. [Jiyuan City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Yinxian Arrested
Ms. Wang Yinxian was arrested on February 14, 2012.
28. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Changchun Arrested
Officials from the Zibo City Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Wang Changchun on February 28, 2012.
29. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] More Than 20 Practitioners Arrested
Tangshan City police arrested 27 practitioners from Fengrun and Kaiping districts of Tangshan City, Tanghai County, on February 25, 2012. Some of their family members were also taken into custody. The police ransacked many practitioners' homes.
The following are partial details of this case:
Ms. Xu Suqin, from the Nanchanggongfang area in Lunan District, was arrested with two of her family members. Their home was also ransacked.
Ms. Tong Sufen was arrested by officers from the Xingyuandao Police Station on Dali Road.
Ms. Zhang Ruifeng from the Yuanding Building was arrested, and her home was ransacked.
Mr. Bian Lichao was arrested and sent to the Tangshan City No. 2 Detention Center. His wife, Ms. Zhou Xiuzhi (a non-ptractitioner), was also arrested and sent to the Tangshan City Detention Center.
Mr. Liu Laidong and his wife from Qianjiaying, Fengnan District, were taken into custody.

30. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhou Guilan Sentenced to Prison
Beilin District 610 Office head Li Jianfei and other police officers from Suihua City arrested Ms. Zhou Guilan on September 15, 2011. Shortly prior to the Chinese New Year, she was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment. Ms. Zhou is currently held in the Suihua City Detention Center.
(Clearwisdom.net) A "Solemn Declaration" is a person's public statement to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. Minghui.org receives such statements from practitioners and non-practitioners alike. The statements referred to in the title of this article refer only to those made by Falun Dafa practitioners. In the face of physical torture, brainwashing and/or official threats made against themselves or their families, the practitioners referred to in this article signed statements renouncing their faith in Falun Dafa and pledging to CCP authorities that they would not practice again. These practitioners have since realized that they should not have allowed themselves to be compelled to renounce their faith. By publishing these Solemn Declarations on the Minghui website, these practitioners hereby retract anything they had earlier said or done against Falun Dafa, and publicly declare their intention to resume practicing Falun Dafa. Recent examples of Solemn Declarations:
(Clearwisdom.net) Each year around May 13, practitioners submit articles detailing their remarkable stories. I felt that the articles published these past two years were particularly powerful in clarifying the truth. Practitioners from all over China told real and vivid stories from different angles in simple language. Their experiences clearly validate that Falun Dafa is good. Their stories woke people up around the world and deterred the wicked people. They also helped those practitioners who lagged in cultivation recall how they had obtained the Fa and become diligent in cultivation again. The stories also attracted people who learned the truth to submit their own articles. During that period, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) special agents launched non-stop attacks on Minghui (Chinese version of Clearwisdom). Clearly Dafa disciples' articles rattled the evil's nerves. The evil is most afraid of people knowing that Dafa is good.
The call for this year's papers has begun, and I would like to share my thoughts with fellow practitioners regarding the articles' topics and story selection. Let's broaden our understanding together, so that we can write our articles well and achieve better results as a whole.
1. Our target audience is mainly everyday people
The articles published around May 13 each year are mainly for clarifying the truth to people. Therefore, we have to explore the theme in a way that everyday people can understand and target their hearts. The papers need to tell the stories of our experiences, as well as those of the people around us, including historical events, etc. The goal is to allow people to learn about the benefits of Dafa.
In terms of language, style and content, we need to avoid talking at too high of a level or just talking to fellow practitioners while disregarding our audience. Within the same article, we can share experiences with fellow practitioners and also say a few words to everyday people.
Let's just imagine that a reader is sitting in front of us. We should write about our stories in a way that he or she can understand and appreciate.
2. Selecting a theme
What subject matters should we choose? I would like to reference a few articles that I have read on Minghui.
(1) Stories from the period when Dafa was spreading around the world.
Several articles published around May 13 in 2010 and 2011 talked about practitioners' first-hand experiences. There were stories about how people obtained the Fa and their experiences with regard to healing, fitness and improved morality. There were also stories of Master teaching the Fa, the grand history of Dafa spreading around the world, media reports at that time, etc.
We should write our stories as informatively and as detailed as possible.
For example, a very short story, “Early Days in China: A Food Vendor Learns About Falun Gong” (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/5/18/117151.html) talked about how practitioners in Shandong Province organized a group Fa-study in borrowed classrooms back in 1992. The story was about a food vendor collecting money during lunch time. The food vendor went from counting the money carefully in the beginning to finally just putting out the buns and the money box in the middle of the courtyard and knowing that the amount collected from practitioners would be exactly right, without him having to count it. From the expression and mentality of an everyday person, people reading this story learned about the honesty of Dafa practitioners. Dafa disciples all know such stories, but everyday readers may be surprised and intrigued.
Another example is “Witness to Master Spreading the Fa in Early Years in Changchun - Metal Pipe Fell on My Head” (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/5/14/116969.html), a story about an elderly practitioner. She attended the first class that Master taught. She is the person mentioned in Zhuan Falun who was struck by a metal pipe falling from a high-rise building without getting hurt. The author recalled her experience in the article: “My home was near a construction site. One day when I passed there, a metal pipe suddenly dropped from high above onto my head. It punched my head, then stuck standing in the ground next to me. My head had a small depression, but no bleeding or pain. I said, 'Who patted me?' When I turned around, I saw a white Falun turning and ascending upwards! This practice is too good, I truly believe that.”
When the author wrote this experience sharing in 2010, she was already 81 years old. She said at the end of the article: “I am very strong, waiting for Master's return. I want to be a witness for Master; all I said is true. I am living evidence.”
Two more examples, “Falun Dafa Gave Me a New Life” (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/5/20/117209.html) and “After Practicing the Exercises for Just One Hour, My Severe Diseases Went Away” (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/5/18/117148.html), are stories about healing and fitness. The two authors are far apart in age, and they relate their experiences in their own styles. The elderly practitioner recalled her conversations with her children, while the young nurse clearly listed the name and pathology of the disease. The purity and genuineness of practitioners are reflected in these articles. The stories are not told in the same way, but both are detailed and credible.
(2) The stories of validating the Fa during the persecution over the last 13 years.
As mentioned in the Clearwisdom's call for papers, during the last 13 years, every practitioner has experienced a lot. So, how can we help everyday people understand why practitioners have persisted in practicing Dafa and clarifying the truth for so many years despite the persecution? How do we address this question? Sometimes one or two specific examples are very convincing. This is a process of clarifying the truth in depth using our wisdom. When people truly understand and support us, it means they have a deep understanding of the truth.
I think we can give a detailed description of our experiences and stories in a way that lets everyday people identify with our experiences and feelings. We've all had moments of touching the hearts of everyday people while clarifying the truth. Everything Dafa disciples do is based on compassion. Many times it's how Dafa disciples do things and not what they say that moves everyday people. An average person might not have an in-depth understanding of a Dafa disciple's mindset, but people can feel that Dafa practitioners are different from everyday people, that they are kind and considerate of others.
We can think more from this perspective and share our stories regarding this. The following are a few very impressive published articles that we can use as examples.
In the article “Police Officer Stops Beating People After Being Reprimanded by Practitioner” (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2005/3/25/58777.html), the compassion of Dafa disciples woke up the true, kindhearted nature of an everyday person. The officer had routinely beat practitioners in front of his impressionable, young son. However, after the practitioner reminded him that one day the child would be ashamed of his father's evil deeds, the policeman stopped. In relaying remarkable events taking place amidst the sometimes trivial details of life, the author enabled readers to feel the benevolence and righteousness of Dafa disciples from the basic perspective of being human.
The title of another article quoted a villager: “If Everyone Practiced Falun Gong, Society Would Be Better” (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2011/10/3/128483.html). The story described events taking place following a big flood, the scale of which had not been seen in a hundred years. People were looting goods, and businessmen were taking the opportunity to raise their prices. However, two elderly farmers who practiced Dafa did not take advantage of people during the disaster. In the dangerous environment of rapidly declining morality in China, in their hearts people are longing for a land of purity. Dafa cultivation is such a pure land. It is mankind's only hope.
The article “Police Officer: 'Everyone Says Falun Dafa Is Good, and I Witnessed That Today'” (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2012/1/19/130822.html) told of how when a child was struck by a car, a practitioner was the only person who stopped to help. As police arrived, the driver prepared to flee the scene and tried to divert attention away from himself by pointing out that the kindhearted person helping the child was a Falun Dafa practitioner. The police officer was moved by the practitioner's compassion, instead.
“Director of a Public Security Bureau Learns the Truth about Falun Gong and Persuades Thousands of People to Withdraw from the CCP” (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2009/1/14/103891.html) told a story of an everyday person's righteous speech and actions while facing adversity after learning the truth. During the last 13 years when Dafa has been persecuted by the CCP, so many new practitioners are still obtaining the Fa. Everyone has an unforgettable story and experience of eliminating the CCP's lies from their hearts. Describing this process in detail is also a viewpoint that people can easily accept.
The above are just a few examples from my limited perspective. Everyday people who don't understand the truth may have many obstacles, such as their adherence to atheism, misconception that we engage in politics, or other issues. However, if an article can provide a convincing viewpoint from one aspect of an issue, it will play a significant role.
(Clearwisdom.net) I was in very poor health before I practiced Falun Dafa, and had surgery due to heart disease. In addition, I had chronic stomachache, pain in the legs, rheumatism and arthritis. I also suffered twice a year from spasmodic dysphonia, a very painful neurological disorder, and there was no known medicine that could alleviate the symptoms. Sometimes, I was bedridden for days at a time.
I used to sell vegetable and fruits. I never earned enough to pay for the medication I needed. I was very poor and felt that life was hard and survival very difficult.
In 1996, I witnessed my sister becoming healthy without any medication after she started practicing
Falun Gong. She tried to convince me to practice Falun Gong, but I just ignored her. Meanwhile, my unhealthy state didn't give me any peace, and I couldn't afford any medication. So, what could I do? I began to listen to Teacher's lectures at my sister's home daily. On the seventh day of listening to the lectures, Teacher cleansed my body and I suddenly felt quite comfortable. I was healthy again. I felt so grateful and wondered how I could show my appreciation for Teacher's help. I knew I should follow what Teacher taught, be a good person and live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
After I had started to practice Falun Dafa, I no longer cheated my customers, although my niece asked me to do that. I cultivated diligently and listened to Teacher's lectures.
I told people about Falun Gong and clarified the truth at all times and offered salvation to sentient beings whose minds were brainwashed by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) lies.
Here I wish to share my experiences as a cultivator over the past year. With Teacher's help and righteous thoughts, I was able to do the three things which Teacher asks of his disciples.
Life Threatening Situation
On May 26, 2011, my sister took me on her bike to clarify the truth. On the way back home, a car hit us from behind. We were pushed for one meter and I was dragged another few meters. I lost consciousness and my sister told me that my face was bleeding and there was much blood on the ground. The driver was a young lady. She was so scared that she kept crying.
The driver took us to a hospital. I regained consciousness once while driving to the hospital. I said, “I want to go home.” No one listened to me. At the hospital, they stitched the wounds on my face, which was very painful. I said again, "Please take me home. I don't want to stay in the hospital." Everyone just ignored me. I wanted to go home, but I couldn't move and had no energy. I was taken to a hospital room.
Then, I felt that my front teeth were loose, which also felt very painful. I was a little vain and thought that I wouldn't look good without front teeth. I then used my fingers to press my teeth back into place and thought, "Please go back and be normal.” My entire body hurt. I wanted to lie down. But my head hurt too much when it touched the pillow. My face was injured. I could only lie face down on my chin to sleep.
No Need for Medication and Injections
The doctor suggested that I needed medication. I replied, “I don't want injections and medication. I only want to go home.” One of the doctors was angry and said, “You are a Falun Gong practitioner!” I replied, “I told you about the illnesses that I had suffered from for a long time, such as stomachache, leg pain, rheumatism and arthritis. I became healthy again. My sister will take care of me. I don't need to take any medicine.”
My husband, my child and many others did not understand my desire to go home. My husband said, “Do you know how badly you are injured? You lost so much blood. The wound could become infected. Do you know what will become of you if you just go home? Don't be silly.”
I did not try to persuade them, but negotiated with the doctor, “Okay, if I recover within three days, please let me go home. If not, I will accept your treatment.” The doctor was not happy and said, “All right. Let's wait three days,” and left.
Everyone tried to persuade me to accept treatment and trust science. I told them, “Don't worry. You guys don't know that there have been many similar accidents and I know what happened to these people. None of them took injections and medication and they recovered within a short time.” They couldn't understand, so I just remained quiet and no longer listened to them and no longer argued. Anyway, I didn't have the energy for arguing my case.
Fighting Persecution of Body and Mind
I stayed firm, not wavering from Falun Dafa, and my righteous thought remained strong. There was nothing that could change my mind. I sent righteous thought to deny the persecution by the old forces.
I said in my mind, "All you who are persecuting me, please listen. I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I am taken care of by my Teacher. No one should attack my righteous thoughts. I won't take any injections or medication. I must go home after three days."
Then, I sent righteous thought and asked Teacher for help, "Teacher, please help me recover. I should not stay here. I need to clarify the truth and cannot waste my time."
I wanted to relax after sending righteous thoughts, but I was in such pain. I realized that I should practice the exercises. I then overcame the difficulties with my legs, which were injured and felt like two logs. I stood up straight to practice the exercises. I had to persevere and refuse the evil arrangement.
I tried several times to practice the first exercise and suddenly I heard a cracking noise. My stiff ankles had become flexible again and I could move them easily. I was crying. I knew that Teacher was helping me bear my pain. I shouted in my heart: “Thank you, Teacher! Thank you, Teacher! I will do better and I will live up to Teacher's compassionate help.”
One of the other patients said, “Ms., why did your ankles make that noise?” I responded, “That's my Teacher helping me with my ankles. See, I'm okay now.” I walked towards them and showed them. The patients said, “That's nothing short of miraculous.”
Witnessing Falun Dafa's Mighty Power
After I practiced the exercises, I went to the bathroom. I said, “Did you all witness my change?” Everyone was convinced that I had improved a lot. Now, it was time to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to them. I was a good example of Dafa's mighty power.
I explained that there are millions of people who practice Falun Gong in one hundred countries. I told them that the CCP lied to the Chinese people to incite hatred and justify its persecution of Falun Gong. Thousands of people died and tens of thousands of people have been illegally detained.
I then said, “Today, all of you witnessed Dafa's mighty power.” Some of the patients withdrew from the CCP and its affiliates. Several said, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are great! Dafa is so powerful!”
Recovering in No Time and Showing the Compassion of a Practitioner
On the second day, the swelling in my face had subsided. I could open my eyes. The doctor wanted me to take medication, but I refused. Instead, I recited the Fa and sent righteous thoughts. During the day, I clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to patients in other rooms.
On the third day, my face was no longer swollen. The doctor was surprised. He wondered how I could have recovered that soon.
I said, “Let me go home.” He said, “You have to wait until the seventh day. We will take out the stitches and check you over thoroughly. We need to be responsible for our patients.” I replied, “Please check me over now. I am fine.”
I wanted to be released, so in order to go home I agreed to have a diagnostic evaluation. Everything was fine. I regretted having to undergo a blood test, as I had lost so much blood during the accident. I had a headache afterwards and felt as if I was about to faint.
My husband and my child demanded that I stay for several days. I said loudly, "I'll go home by myself. You guys can stay in the hospital.”
I asked Teacher for help. I had to eliminate the evil interference. I said, "All parts of me, please support me and help me leave the hospital. I have to save sentient beings. None of you may listen to the evil's arrangement." I suddenly felt very energetic. I could get up, walk out of the room and to the elevator.
On the seventh day, the driver who hit us wanted us to settle the case. The traffic policeman told me, “Just speak up and make your demands to the driver who hit you.” I said, “I have no demands. I will take care of everything if anything happens.” He responded, “I have never experienced a resolution to an accident so quickly. Normally, the two parties argue and sue each other.” I said, “I practice Falun Gong. My teacher told me to think of others first. The driver didn't hit me on purpose. She was very worried too. Please finish your paperwork. See, I am fine now.” He said, “If every accident would resolve itself like this, it would be great.” He processed the documentation.
Helping Others in Adversity
There was another driver who looked very worried. I asked him what happened and he told me that he hit a person with his car. He didn't know what was going to happen. I told him, “If you repeat 'Falun Dafa is Good! Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are great!,' you will have unexpected good results.” He asked, “Is that true?” I replied, “Yes, that's true.” I was just about to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to him when he was taken away.
The officer asked me to sign the final document and I took the opportunity to clarify the truth to him. He said, “I witnessed all that happened. I know that you are a good person. The situation is rather unpleasant. I know that all Falun Gong practitioners are good people.” He was rushing to leave and said, “I would like to talk with you next time.”
The driver that hit me took me home and bought me some tonic. It was very hard to refuse her. I thought I would return it some other time. The driver said, “If it were not for you, I might have to spend tens of thousand yuan. I don't know how to show my appreciation for what you have done. I should buy something for you.”
I told her, “Please be careful in the future. But, I'm asking you that whenever you meet someone, consider the other person's needs first. Repeat 'Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are great!'” The driver also withdrew her membership from the CCP and its affiliates.
She offered me 500 yuan, but I refused to accept the money. I found out later that my daughter had taken the money. I tried to return the money, but the driver refused to take it.
My accident would have been a long drawn out ordeal if I had not been a diligent practitioner. Instead, it took only seven days to resolve itself. The car driver, doctor, traffic policeman and many other people witnessed the power of Falun Dafa and the goodness of its practitioners.
(Clearwisdom.net) I started to practice Falun Dafa in May 2007. Before that, I had heard the facts about Falun Gong several times and remembered that Falun Gong could save people. However, due to the indoctrination of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) culture, I did not believe that divine beings and Buddhas really existed.
Early one morning on May 2007, I rode my bicycle to the suburban outskirts of the city, where I live, to do the exercises. Suddenly, I no longer had any control over one side my body. I got off my bike, leaned on it, and continued to move forward for about 100 yards.
Then I really could not move anymore. At that time there wasn't anyone else around. I remembered that those truth-clarifying materials said that the Teacher of Falun Gong might save those people in danger if they recited “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” So I sincerely shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Master Li, come and save me, please!”
Soon someone came to me. I gave the person my phone number and said, "Please call my home." Then I lost consciousness. It was Teacher who started to save me and kept me from moving.
My family came and took me to a hospital. I was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage. When I woke up, I continued to recite "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" I sincerely begged Teacher to forgive me for saying wrong things about Dafa and Master before.
It is Teacher who gave me a second life. My doctor said I recovered much faster than a young adult, which was really unbelievable.
I began to practice Falun Dafa when I got home from the hospital. I issued a solemn statement on the Internet. My family history of high blood pressure even disappeared, which was usually at around 180/100. So far, no one can tell that I ever had a stroke.
I was given a blessing in a time of dire peril–Teacher saved me! My wife and I have stepped forward to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa, especially to our relatives, friends, classmates, neighbors, and acquaintances. By relating what happened to me, we tell people how marvelous and supernormal Dafa is.
(Clearwisdom.net) After the Chinese New Year, Baozi, my cousin’s husband, visited my mother-in-law. We were all very surprised to see him looking so healthy. His face was glowing and he looked very strong. We found out that Falun Gong had given him a new life.
A few years ago, Baozi had femoral head necrosis, a serious and painful condition that occurs when the blood supply to the bone is interrupted. His suffering was such that thoughts of suicide were not uncommon.
Baozi lives in Inner Mongolia. He spent a lot of money in search of a cure and went to many hospitals. Nothing helped, so his health deteriorated and he became bedridden. He couldn't even take care of himself anymore. In his mind he believed that it was hopeless, so he collected enough sleeping pills to commit suicide, as the pain had become excruciating.
My cousin spoke to my wife about about how helpless she felt and how terribly Baozi was suffering. My wife invited them to come to our home and try some traditional Chinese medicine. Besides, several of our family members practiced Falun Gong. We told him many stories about how Dafa helped people to return to health and how the practice strengthened the body. He didn’t quite believe it, but he said that since he had been with us, his pain was subsiding more and more. With our encouragement, he decided do the exercises while still undergoing traditional Chinese medicine treatments.
Seven days after Baozi started doing the exercises, he said, “I had a dream last night. A doctor gave me a pill. And guess what, my leg did not hurt in the morning.” We encouraged him to do the exercises more and study the Falun Gong books.
On the tenth day of doing the exercises, I took him to our local hospital for a check up. The diagnosis showed that the femoral head was fine. Baozi didn’t believe it, so the doctor took a second x-ray, which again showed no abnormality.
Baozi was elated. He said, “I definitely wasn't cured by traditional Chinese medicine. I sold pork before I contracted this illness and the femoral head bone is the hardest bone in the body. There is no way that traditional Chinese medicine could cure it so quickly. It was Falun Dafa that made me healthy again.”
Baozi told us that my cousin had taken many Falun Gong materials to her hometown. Baozi said, "Let me distribute them because you are not familiar with this area." He distributed all of the materials in the middle of the night.
It is absolutely true that one will be blessed if one speaks up for Falun Gong.
We are very happy to see a strong and healthy Baozi today. Baozi and his wife have continued to practice Falun Gong since that time they first started a few years ago. They now live by the Falun Gong principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
(Clearwisdom.net) I witnessed several things recently that illustrate the magnificence of both Dafa and our great Teacher. I hope that people can learn from them and treat Dafa well, be compassionate and choose bright futures for themselves.
Depression Disappears After Sincerely Reciting “Falun Dafa is Good”
One of my relatives is a computer teacher in a middle school. Not long ago, she told me something that was bothering her. Her husband (my nephew) was having an affair with another woman. He treated his wife very badly. When he got home, he was always in a bad mood and made trouble for his wife. One time, he even drove her mother away from their home. It was so bad that she thought of committing suicide. It was so miserable to live with someone like her husband. If it were not for their two children, she would have ended her life.
Hearing her story, I wanted to help. I smiled and told her, “Life is short with many worries and troubles. Don't worry. You can try to calm down by sincerely reciting these words, 'Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' You will not feel the same. At least you will not commit suicide. If you persist, you will have good luck.”
People often feel desperate when there seems to be no way out. However, they have a strong desire to live when there is some hope. When she heard “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good”, she seemed to feel hope. Her eyes brightened. She said softly, “If what you said is true, I will recite that every day. I don't want to continue like this. It's so strange! I suddenly no longer want to commit suicide. Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good”.
Several days later, I visited her and she was very happy to see me. She told me that her life was so much better. Her husband was better now and started caring about her. She was truly happy. She thanked me repeatedly. She recommended to her colleagues to recite the nine words and told one of her relatives who was in charge of persecuting Falun Gong to stop the wrongdoing. Her words touched me. What a kind life! I told her to thank Teacher and I was just the messenger. She smiled happily.
Soon she was promoted to one of the team leaders in her school and was in charge of ethics education. She let go of the worries of her family and devoted her time to education. She is no longer worried and depressed. Instead she is happy and content.
Kidney Stones Cause No Problem After Sincerely Reciting “Falun Dafa is Good”
One of my relative's sister Cui is in her sixties. One time on our way home from a family gathering, she complained to me, “Doctors are so immoral these days. I was hospitalized for kidney stones recently. The doctor told me that they had shattered the stones and I could go home. They would do free follow-ups every ten days, three times. I was happy to hear that. In the first followup exam, the doctor told me that the stones were not released and I needed to have surgery. I knew very well that they just wanted money. In order to avoid further suffering from the disease, I gave them several hundred Yuan. They then prescribed some medications and told me that it shouldn't be any problem. In the second exam, they told me that the stones were still not released and that I needed surgery. I once again gave them lots of money. These doctors are so unethical . They purposely don't cure your disease so that they can extort more money from you. They are truly bad!”
I said, “Society has been messed up by the Chinese Communist Party. Everyone seeks money and is selfish. Doctors are no exception. The old saying 'The heaven and earth became dark. Human beings fight amongst each other' is becoming reality. People with a clear mind know that when the Party claims it is black, it must be white. For example, Falun Gong believes 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance', the Party persecutes it because its nature is 'fake-vicious-violent'. Let me tell you, if you sincerely recite 'Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' it will bring you good luck. Your disease will be cured very soon and you don't need to go to a hospital. Isn't it wonderful? You don't spend one cent, yet your disease is cured.”
She smiled and her face became bright. Her voice trembled, filled with emotion. She said, “I will do it. I will recite right now. Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. It is truly good.”
Seeing her pure expression, I smiled. I know that she must be saved!
Several days later, she called me, “You don't need to worry about me. I listened to you and I recite the nine words everyday. My disease is cured. Thank you so much.”
The moment I put down the phone, a white light flashed in front of my eyes and three characters appeared in my brain, “Fa's light shines”. It is truly so. If it were not for Teacher's compassion, how was she able to recover so soon?
Worries Disappear After Reciting “Falun Dafa is Good”
A boy named Mingming is in ninth grade. Because of his poor academic performance, his teachers and classmates looked down on him. Sometimes they even humiliated him and physically abused him. Consequently he no longer wanted to go to school. To him the school was like a prison as it did not have freedom, happiness or warmth.
After hearing his situation, I told him, “Mingming, nowadays the society is simply cruel. Under the Party's influence, even the teachers have become snobbish. If you perform poorly in the exam, they will humiliate and punish you. They don't have the compassion required to teach you well. It is understandable that you don't like school. However, I must tell you these most important and most precious words. If you recite 'Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' every day, your worries will disappear. Your performance in school will improve, as well. Your teachers and classmates will respect you. Do you want to try it?”
Mingming smiled and agreed. He told me that he will recite them over one hundred times a day.
One week later when I saw him again, I asked him if he had undergone any change. He smiled and said, “The change is tremendous. First, I got a cold and had a fever. But I recovered without taking any medicine. Second, I was praised in a school conference because I returned the money to the owner who lost it. All the students applauded for me. In addition, I volunteered to clean the hallway and help classmates to get hot water. Now everyone is nice to me. What's more important is that I have become interested in learning. I start to ask classmates questions. The teacher praised me several times. The nine words are truly wonderful. I benefited so much from them. I also asked other classmates to recite them.”
I am truly happy for Mingming. I am also happy for the miracles of Dafa.

Going to People's Homes to Help Them Quit the Communist Party
(Article from Gansu Province) Two people, one a former executive secretary of the County Commission for Discipline Inspection and the other, the party secretary of a township government and a party secretary of a department for 20 years, had been coworkers of mine. Both of them are retired.
Several years ago I had talked to them about the persecution of Falun Gong. I told them that the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) simply could not tolerate people's belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I asked them to read the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,” and told them they could stay safe if they withdrew their memberships in the CCP ,Youth League, or the Young Pioneers. I told them that the saying “Heaven will eliminate the CCP” is a fact. At that time they failed to see the true nature of the CCP and still had some illusions, therefore they did not want to withdraw from the wicked party.
Two days ago, they came to my home separately and asked me to help them withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. One of them said, “The CCP is completely doomed. I was told that during the change of governments at the city, county, and township level this year people were able to buy a position in the government. A deputy county magistrate position costs over one million yuan and head of a township is over 100,000 yuan. If we let these people come into power, they will prey on people like a famished tiger. Society will definitely be in turmoil.”
The other one was so worried, “Now calamities occur frequently and a lot of ill omens occurred as well. All this is the result of the CCP's ideology of fighting against heaven and earth. What's more, nowadays the officials and the bandits are one family, and prostitution is rampant. Morality has been completely ruined. We have reached the stage where if humankind does not do anything to stop this, heaven will. Since I want to live a few years longer, please help me to withdraw from the CCP!”
I congratulated them on making the right decision and encouraged them to repeat the words “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I told them that if they followed the principles, they would get blessings. They accepted gladly.
It Would Be Great If All Chinese People Could Act Like This
(Article from Northeast China) A mother and daughter lived close to my home. The daughter was doing post-graduate studies. Because the daughter learned Falun Gong with her mother as a child, her academic marks just got better and better, and were especially high when she sat for the entrance exams for the post-graduate course. She not only passed the exams but won a full scholarship. The two of them were not rich, so the scholarship was especially meaningful for them.
On November 30, 2011, the daughter told her mother that one of her friends had asked her to pretend to be her and take an exam for getting an intermediate professional title. She promised to pay her 10,000 yuan for doing it. Her mother asked her eagerly, “Did you agree to do it? What are your thoughts about your friend's offer?” The daughter thought it went against being an honest person, but she did not know how to answer her friend and she was concerned about what to do. The mother quoted one of Teacher's poems,
We don't isolate ourselves in temples or mountains
We are students, farmers, and workers alike
Directly working on our hearts, we cultivate the Fa
Pure lotuses in the secular world can't be tainted

The daughter asked, “How shall I reply then?” Her mother said, “Just tell her I won't let you do it.”
I associated the story with what is going on in China. Now, we encounter fake products daily. There is poisoned milk, poisoned rice, poisoned alcohol, “gutter oil” (cooking oil made from discarded oil in gutters), people cheating on various exams, and so on. People are not sure if there is anything safe to eat or any people or things they can trust. Under the CCP's rule, in just over 60 years, the Chinese traditional principles of benevolence, righteousness, etiquette, wisdom, and trustworthiness have all been destroyed.
Only Falun Gong practitioners follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance as their standards to live by. It will be really great if all Chinese people could do the same.
(Clearwisdom.net) My brother-in-law is close to 60 years old. Sometime in 2005 or 2006 he learned the Falun Dafa exercises. He realized that Falun Dafa was good, and he believed in this spiritual practice.
He then said, "I'm just too busy. I don't have the time to practice it."
Despite not practicing Falun Gong, but believing that it is good, my brother-in-law has benefited greatly.
My sister and brother-in-law do all the farm work without any help. They have about 18 or 19 cows and also grow different crops in a large field.
In mid-September 2011, an insect flew into my brother-in-law's eye when he was working in the field. Rubbing his eye didn't help, so he used his glove to rub at the corner of the eye. Because he rubbed it too hard, it started to hurt so much that he could not open his eye anymore. Usually, minor health issues didn't keep him from working. This time, he felt he needed to see a doctor.
Searching for a Cure
He went to the county hospital, and the optometrist advised him to go to the eye hospital in a city that was located about 100 kilometers from his hometown.
Once there, my nephew was asked to deposit more than 20,000 yuan before the doctor agreed to check my brother-in-law's eye. He diagnosed the problem as a damaged cornea. He suggested that a corneal implant was necessary and said that if they decided against the procedure, he might become nearly blind in that eye.
My brother-in-law originally planned to stay only a few days in the hospital for some injections and then return home to save money. His son persuaded him to have the cornea transplant, although he was rather reluctant to go through the procedure.
The pros and cons of the transplant were really worrisome. To protect the transplanted cornea, the patient can't do any hard labor, needs to rest as much as possible, has to keep the eye very clean, can't get upset, and so on.
Advised to Trust Falun Dafa's Principles
On the third day of his stay in the hospital I was told about it. I called him and his son and told them to recite “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” nonstop.
Then I told my sister, "Your husband can't have a cornea transplant. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) minions are harvesting organs from Falun Dafa practitioners while they are still alive. By agreeing to a cornea transplant, it is most likely that a practitioner will be killed. Even if he had such a surgery, it would not be good for him, it would harm his life."
I said to my brother-in-law, "You are a smart person, and you must believe in it. Don't stop saying the words I told you and don't be distracted. You will surely have good results."
Given this dramatic event, his mind was not at ease. After listening to me, even though he is usually rather timid, he became determined. When my nephew stopped by my house, I asked him, "Is your Dad reciting the words in his mind?" He said, "Be assured. Besides reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” he gets up at night and meditates."
Another Miraculous Recovery
On the twelfth or the thirteenth day of his hospitalization, the doctor told him, "It appears you no longer need the surgery. You are recovering very well."
My brother-in-law worried about the autumn harvest at home, so he asked his son to find the doctor-in-charge. The doctor told them, "When you arrived here, the situation was very serious, but you have recovered very well over the past few days. You should be fine after some time. There is no problem if you want to go home. Just take some medicine with you. Even if you stay longer, you won't feel any better than you do now."
It would have cost them over 30,000 yuan for the surgery. Given his sincere trust in Falun Dafa, my brother-in-law spent only around 3,000 yuan, including travel expenses and over 20 days in the hospital. Not only did he save money, he also avoided the suffering from a cornea transplant, the results of which were uncertain anyway. He tells people now how lucky he was to have made the right decision.

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Ling Mingguo Ignores Warnings
Li Mingguo, current chairman of the Jiuzhai Township People's Congress in Mengyin County, has been actively engaged in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners since 1999. His crimes have been exposed numerous times on the Clearwisdom website. Several years ago, he suffered from burst capillary vessels in the brain. Falun Gong practitioners, out of kindness, told him to stop participating in the persecution, but he ignored these warnings. On October 20, 2011, his wife suddenly died while talking on the phone at home.
Teng Quits Smearing Falun Gong Posters after Suffering Heart Disease
Teng lives in the southern part of Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. She was quick to remove truth clarification leaflets and posters that Falun Gong practitioners posted in residential communities. Practitioners told her not to follow the CCP's orders. She refused to listen and was quite glad to collect the monetary incentives, plus she didn't believe that there would be any retribution. She collected a few thousand yuan from the CCP. However, she started to develop heart problems, which she never had before. After spending 30,000 yuan on medical expenses, her symptoms were only alleviated a little. She regretted that she had not heeded practitioners' advice. She has decided to quit doing what the CCP was paying her to do.
Gong Tongliang Sentenced to 19 Years in Prison
Gong Tongliang brutally arrested and beat Falun Gong practitioners when he was the CCP secretary in Jiuzhai Township, Mengyin County, Shandong Province. He searched the homes of 19 practitioners and engaged in torture and brainwashing. He forced practitioners to stand barefoot in the snow. Later he was transferred to Mengyin County, where he was involved in gambling, prostitution, and other crimes. He was arrested and sentenced to 19 years in prison.
Lu Shangquan in Zhengzhou City Dies
After the persecution started on July 20, 1999, Lu Shangquan actively participated in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He went to Beijing to take practitioners back to the Shangjie District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Several practitioners were then illegally held in custody for over six months for brainwashing.
Between 2000 and 2006, Lu Shangquan was responsible for the detention, forced labor terms, or imprisonment of several dozen practitioners. He was directly involved in twice sentencing a practitioner in the Shangjie District to forced labor, the first time to a two-year term, the second time to a three-year term. In another case, a practitioner was held in a brainwashing facility in Zhengzhou City for over eight years. He also coerced several practitioners to give up their belief in Falun Gong, and they have not resumed practicing to this day.
As early as 2000, he ignored practitioners' kind advice. In September 2000, his father suddenly died without exhibiting any symptoms of illness. He refused to acknowledge that this was retribution and told everyone that his father had died of illness. When a practitioner whose family was destroyed as a result of his persecution reminded him kindly to stop persecuting Falun Dafa, he yelled and cursed, and boasted that he had received a 2,000-yuan bonus.
On July 24, 2011, he died, at age 54, from cancer. In the several years following the cancer diagnosis, he had borrowed hundreds of thousands of yuan for treatment. His wife and children are now burdened by the debt he incurred.
