(Clearwisdom.net) Thirty-one Falun Gong practitioners, among whom 10 are from Shuangcheng City, are currently being illegally held at the Suihua Forced Labor Camp in Heilongjiang Province.
The forced labor camp officials held a meeting for Falun Gong practitioners on December 29, 2011, because the provincial 610 Office agents would come to inspect the camp's “transformation” of practitioners. The camp officials attempted to have the practitioners renounce their belief in Falun Dafa against their will. Because practitioner Mr. Jin Jie refused to immediately comply, guards Shi Jian and Fan Xiaodong became infuriated and hung him up from the top of a bunk bed, beating and shocking him with electric batons.
Practitioner Mr. Liu Jingzhou was sent to this forced labor camp on January 19, 2012. He refused to write the “three statements.” In addition, he had previously ripped up his name card before being released from forced labor camp detention in September 2011, thus the guards vented their anger on him by ruthlessly beating him. Division head Fan Juying, political head Fan Xiaodong, team lead Shi Jian, and guards Jin Qingfu, Wang Xiaobin and others participated in physically abusing and torturing Mr. Liu. They hung Mr. Liu up and shocked him with electric batons, covered his head with a plastic bag and blew smoke into it, and stabbed him with toothpicks. Mr. Liu's mouth swelled outward more than one inch. Even today, he cannot fully use his left hand as a result of the abuse.
On February 8, 2012, guard Jin Qingfu beat Mr. Lu Qingbo, shocked him with an electric baton, slapped him in the face, and fiercely kicked him.
Guards order criminal inmates to closely monitor practitioners and forbid them from talking to each other.
