Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

This article reports several incidences of ill fate coming to those who have directly participated in the persecution of Falun Gong.

Judge from Wuling District Court Adjudication Division Suffers Severe Stroke

Xia Youchu, 62 years old, is a judge in the Wuling District Court Adjudication Division in Changde City, Hunan Province. He has frequently presided over sham trials of Falun Gong practitioners over the last dozen years. A typical case is that of Guo Zhaoqing, who was sentenced to ten years of incarceration because he refused to recant his beliefs.

A young handicapped Falun Gong practitioner, Guo Zhaoqing was brutally beaten repeatedly after his arrest on April 21, 2009. The excruciating abuse left him badly bruised. His legs developed atrophy and paralysis. He was unable to sit steadily and had lost the ability to take care of himself. Considering his plight, someone urged the judge Xia Youchu to release him. However Xia Youchu insisted, saying, “I have to sentence him. This is my last case,” and he sentenced Guo to ten years of imprisonment.

However, to Xia Youchu’s surprise, only two years later, it appears that retribution for his evildoing began. Xia Youchu satisfied his personal vanity and need for achievement at the expense of tremendous pain for Falun Gong practitioners. In the summer of 2011, Xia Youchu suddenly suffered a stroke that left him bedridden, unconscious and completely paralyzed.

Police Officer Zi Jingshan Dies of Heart Trouble in His 40s

The evildoing Zi Jingshan from the Dabu Township Police Station in Yanggu County, Shandong Province, died of a heart attack while on duty. He was in his 40s. Zi harassed local Falun Gong practitioners around October 2007. He forced them to renounce their practice, leading to severe disruptions in their daily and family lives.

Public Security Chief Liu Yutong Dies of Heart Attack in His 50s

Liu Yutong was in his 50s. He was the Public Security chief in Liu Village, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. Liu cooperated with the Rongcheng 610 Office to frequently harass Falun Gong practitioners in the village. He arrested them and took them to a "reformation" facility. Practitioners and others tried to dissuade him from helping the CCP regime in its evildoing. He did not listen. On the contrary, he bragged about his evil deeds wherever he went.

Over the years, he began to feel more and more physically uncomfortable. He died of a sudden heart attack on January 7, 2012. His death seems to confirm the understanding that justice will eventually prevail; that good meets with good and evil meets with evil.

Former Women's Federation Head Bian Yuhua Involved in Untimely Accident

Former Women's Federation head Bian Yuhua from Zhengshang Village in Gucheng Township, Dingxing County, Hebei Province, is 61 years old. She has frequently participated in the persecution of Falun Gong over the last twelve years. She used to have people arrest practitioners in their homes, in effect kidnapping them. When some practitioners went to visit their relatives, she nabbed the practitioners from the relatives’ homes and said that they had been taken to Beijing. She released them eventually after extorting several thousand yuan.

In July 2011, she took orders from higher authorities to persecute practitioner Li Jinling (47 years old) by instructing other village members what to do. Li Jinling was taken to the brainwashing session at Xiao Village and photographed under duress, and she was forced to declare that she would stop practicing, etc.

Bian Yuhua returned to her hometown - Sanlipu - on July 15, 2011, to pay homage to her ancestors. She had an accident on the way back home. She was sent to the Zhengding County Hospital and had to pay several thousand yuan in medical expenses.
