(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Zhang Rongyue from Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, was sentenced to four years in prison for his belief in Falun Gong. He is being brutally tortured in Wumaping Prison in Muchuan County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province. He is very weak and in critical condition.
Mr. Zhang served in the army from the age of 16 to 22. He was stationed in Manzhouli, a place with a harsh climate. He worked hard and was very well liked by his superiors and his fellow soldiers. After being overworked, he suffered from many illnesses such as severe arthritis, heart disease, and high blood pressure, along with other health problems. He eventually developed late stage stomach cancer, which caused him and his family a lot of stress. After practicing Falun Gong, his illnesses disappeared and he became healthy again.
Falun Gong gave him a second life. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began suppressing Falun Gong in July 1999, he would take down slogans slandering Falun Gong that were posted in public. In March 2011, he was arrested while he was removing slanderous posters. He was later detained in the Guanghan Detention Center for more than six months and sentenced to four years in prison by the Guanghan Court.
Mr. Zhang was sent to Wumaping Prison on January 9, 2012. A few days later, the prison called his family and said he “was trying to commit suicide.” Mr. Zhang was known to have said that Falun Gong practitioners should not commit suicide, because Falun Gong clearly prohibited killing and suicide. We believe that the CCP authorities must have been trying to cover up an unspeakable crime when they used the excuse of “suicide” for his condition.
Mr. Zhang's wife and son immediately drove to the prison, which took them over ten hours. When they saw Mr. Zhang the next day, he was a completely different person. He was very weak and did not say anything.
How could such a dramatic change occur in just two weeks? The prison authorities told the family that he suffered from severe heart disease, high blood pressure, etc. When Mr. Zhang's wife and son visited him at the Guanghan Detention Center on December 29, 2011, he was in good physically and mental health. The detention center authorities can attest to this.

(Clearwisdom. net) Two Falun Gong practitioners from Yuzhou City, Henan Province, 49-year-old Ms. Li Qiaocun and 59-year-old Ms. Li Meirong, were illegally sentenced to four years and five years of imprisonment, respectively. Both practitioners have appealed.
Ms. Li Qiaocun and Ms. Li Meirong were arrested on the morning of July 26, 2011, as they posted information about Falun Gong and the persecution on utility poles along the roadside outside Xiguan, Yuzhou City. Police officers, including Wang Fengtao and Song Minggang from the Xicheng Police Station, arrested them and took them to the Yuzhou City Detention Center. The police also ransacked Ms. Li Meirong's home the same day.
The two women were placed under administrative detention for two weeks, then transferred to the Yuzhou City Custody Center on July 4. They were officially arrested on July 20. While they were being held, the practitioners were taken to the Yuzhou City Domestic Security Division, where officers Geng Songtao and Pan Shuchao physically abused them in an unsuccessful attempt to extract confessions from them.
Ms. Li Meirong had suffered from heart problems, hepatitis B, and severe ascites before she began practicing Falun Dafa in 1999. Within a few months after she began practicing, all her illnesses disappeared. When the CCP began slandering and vilifying Dafa on July 20, 1999, Ms. Li started to validate the goodness of Dafa.
One evening in August, 2005, Ms. Li Meirong and several other practitioners drove a car to the countryside to distribute information about Falun Gong. Unfortunately they were betrayed by a collaborator. The police ransacked Ms. Li's home, took all the practitioners' truth clarification materials, impounded their car, and took them to the Yuzhou City Detention Center. Ms. Li Meirong was sentenced to five years in prison on November 20, 2005, and released on July 17, 2009.
Ms. Li Qiaocun started practicing Falun Gong in 1995. After the CCP began slandering and vilifying Master Li and Dafa on July 20, 1999, Ms. Li stepped forward. She went to Beijing twice to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa and was taken back to her hometown. She was detained several times--the first time between July 23 and August 10, 1999; the second time was between October 13 and November 12, 1999; and the third time, between July 1 and August 23, 2000. She was placed under administrative detention on December 13, 2009; later placed in criminal detention on December 23; and finally placed under residential surveillance due to her poor health.
The two women were indicted by the Yuzhou City Court on October 19, 2011, and tried on December 2, 2011. During the hearing, two lawyers entered a not-guilty plea for both practitioners. The prosecutor was unable to respond during the hearing, so the court adjourned.
On January 12, 2012, the Yuzhou City Court announced the verdicts: Ms. Li Qiaocun was given a four-year term of imprisonment, and Ms. Li Meirong, a five-year term. Both of them appealed.
(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in eleven cities or counties in eight provinces. In this report, nine practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least eleven practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Beijing] Ms. Wen Mulan's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Wen Mulan from Miyun County was illegally arrested on February 6. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Liang Xiuying Facing Trial
Ms. Liang Xiuying, in her 70s, was arrested on November 9, 2011, by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Hongshan District Police Department for writing letters telling people the facts about Falun Gong. She is still being held at the Hongshan District Detention Center. The police twice attempted to sentence her to forced labor during her detention. Now the Chifeng City 610 Office, the Chifeng City Court, and the Chifeng City Procuratorate are planning to sentence her to prison.

On September 20, 2002, Mr. Chen Xin and Mr. Xu Zhibin were arrested by several officers led by Gao Qiang, director of the Malan Police Station. Mr. Chen was later sentenced to 13 years in prison and is still in Jinzhou Prison.

On the afternoon of February 7, 2012, Ms. Ma Yurong from Dongchangfu District was reported for speaking with people about Falun Gong. She is being detained at the 610 Office.
5. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Xiao Ruilin Escaped from Detention, Current Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Xiao Ruilin from Yuanjiang City, Yiyang, was reported for speaking with people about Falun Gong at the Yangluo Town Bus Station on the afternoon of February 6, 2012. He was arrested by officers from the Yangluo Town Police Station. At the station, in an attempt to extract a false confession, four officers took turns interrogating him and handcuffed his arms behind his back for three hours. Mr. Xiao did not “confess” or give his signature. He escaped around 7:00 p.m. that night. His current whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested; Two of Them Detained
Five practitioners drove to She County to clarify the truth on February 4, 2012. They were reported and arrested by officers from the Liaochengxi Police Station. At the station, the officers searched the practitioners, confiscating 1,000 yuan in cash and other personal belongings. Officers from the Liaochengxi Police Station and the She County Domestic Security Division forcibly took the five practitioners to the hospital for physicals, and then took them to the Handan No. 1 Detention Center.
Three senior practitioners were later released. Two young practitioners, Ms. Zhang Dongqing and Ms. Liu Xiaomin, are being held at the Handan No. 1 Detention Center. The police also seized the practitioners' car.

However, she was arrested in the afternoon and taken to the Guan County Detention Center.

Mr. Gao Sheng, Ms. Pan Mengling, and Mr. Liu Zhongwu were arrested at home on the evening of December 16, 2011. Ms. Pan and Mr. Liu were released on January 1, 2012, after 15 days of detention at the Bin County Detention Center. Mr. Gao was sentenced to one year of forced labor and is being held at the Suihua Forced Labor Camp.
11. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Xingyu Held in Suihua Prison
Mr. Wang Xingyu from Shuangcheng Town, Shuangcheng City, was arrested at home in December 2011, by officers from the Shuangcheng Town Police Station. He was sentenced to two years in prison after being detained at the station for nearly a month. He is being held in Suihua Prison.
In 2002, Mr. Wang's wife, Ms. Yan Shufen was sentenced to 14 years in prison, and his daughter, Ms. Wang Lili, was sentenced to 12 years. Ms. Wang was released in November 2010 after being imprisoned for nine years and five months. Ms. Yan will be released in about five months. Mr. Wang's imprisonment made their family reunion impossible.

Ms. Liu Lixia, 49, is a practitioner in Jilipian District, Liuyang City. On the morning of February 8, 2012, she clarified the facts about Falun Gong to Chen Jingping, deputy head of the local 610 Office. However, Chen arrested her. Ms. Liu is currently detained in the Liuyang City Detention Center.
Ms. Liu was sentenced to five years in prison in 2001. After her release, she was still monitored and often harassed by the local authorities.
Several days before the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2011, as Ms. Liu was refueling her motorcycle in a gas station, the agents from the 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division suddenly showed up, arrested and took her to the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center in Changsha City. The police also ransacked her home and took away a computer, a printer, Falun Gong materials and many of her personal belongings. Ms. Liu was detained in the basement of the brainwashing center and monitored by three guards. She managed to escape the following day, but had to leave her home in order to avoid further persecution. She didn’t return home until February 7, 2012.

2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhai Aiyun Arrested
Ms. Zhai Aiyun, 37, from the Bei District, Qingdao City, was arrested while she distributed materials about Falun Gong on the afternoon of February 10, 2012. She was taken to the Ningxia Road Police Station.

3. [Tianjin] Police Confiscated Falun Gong Books and Attempted to Arrest Mr. Du Rongyi
Mr. Du Rongyi is a practitioner in Dongmaquan Town, Wuqing District. On the afternoon of February 7, 2012, his son returned home for lunch and found that their home had been robbed. His son subsequently reported the crime to the police. The Dongmaquan Police Station sent two police officers to Mr. Du's home. While inspecting the crime scene, the two officers found Mr. Du's Falun Gong books and materials that described the facts about Falun Gong. They confiscated all of these books and materials, and attempted to arrest Mr. Du. However, due to his family's intervention, the police left without taking Mr. Du away.
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Qingsheng Arrested
Mr. Liu Qingsheng, in his 40s, from Daowai District, Harbin City, was arrested on December 31, 2011. He was subsequently detained in the Daowai District Detention Center.
5. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhu Guorong Tortured and in Critical Condition
Mr. Zhu Guorong from Shapingba District is in critical condition due to the brutal torture he suffered. He is extremely thin, his blood pressure is very high, and his physical condition is fragile.
6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Peng Guixiang Sent to Zhonggong Detention Center
Ms. Peng Guixiang was arrested at noon on February 10, 2012. She was taken to the Zhonggong Detention Center.
7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xu Haibo Sent to Suihua Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Xu Haibo was arrested at his home in the early hours of December 30, 2011. The police confiscated his phone cards and more than 10,000 yuan in telephone payment money that he intended to submit to his employer. His mother had to compensate his employer for all of the money.
Mr. Xu was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor and sent to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp.
8. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yuan Wenxia Held in Zibo City Detention Center
Ms. Yuan Wenxia, in her 50s, is a retired employee of Jinyang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. She was arrested by officers from the Banyang Road Police Station when she went out to buy vegetables on the morning of February 12, 2012. She is currently detained in the Zibo City Detention Center.

9. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Ren Suying Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
Ms. Ren Suying was illegally sentenced to five years of imprisonment.
10. [Shayang County, Hubei Province] Practitioners Persecuted in Fanjiatai Prison
Fanjiatai Prison officials set up Ward No. 4 specifically to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in 2002. On December 6, 2011, Ward No. 4 guards attempted to force practitioners to wear prisoner identification cards around their necks. Twelve practitioners resisted. Afterwards, guards Xiao Tianbo and Zu Jian refused to allow the practitioners to contact their family members and restricted their freedom of movement. As a form of torture, they forced the practitioners to sit on a small, short desk for more than 10 hours every day, and didn’t allow them to go to bed until 10 p.m.
In 2012, the guards of Ward No. 4 attempted to force practitioners to do hard labor for a shoe factory. Twelve practitioners again resisted. The guards then severely beat the practitioners and detained them in solitary confinement. Due to the beatings, some practitioners’ buttocks were seriously injured.
In July 2011, practitioners Mr. Cheng Deyong and Mr. Li Jinyang insisted that they hadn’t broken any law and refused have their hair cut in the prisoners’ hairstyle. The guards then ordered eight inmates to brutally beat them. In addition, they forced the practitioners to have their hair cut. While cutting Mr. Cheng's hair, inmate Wang Zhipin repeatedly stabbed Mr. Cheng’s head with scissors. As a result, Mr. Cheng's head was covered with wounds.

(Clearwisdom.net) In recent weeks it has been alleged that two high level CCP officials, Wang Lijun and Bo Xilai, have been fighting with each other. Their power struggle is one of the most talked about issues among Chinese people today. As the facts of corruption are revealed, it is likely that they will ultimately face justice.
Regardless of the result, one thing is certain: Both of these men have been actively and aggressively participating in the persecution of Falun Gong. For the past ten plus years, the suppression of Falun Gong escalated and intensified in the areas they worked. Wang and Bo have reportedly orchestrated mass arrests and been responsible for the brainwashing, torture, and imprisonment of many.
Bo Xilai and Wang Lijun Were the Masterminds Behind the Mass Brainwashing of Falun Gong Practitioners in Chongqing
According to Minghui/Clearwisdom website reports, Bo Xilai spent 17 billion yuan on the installation of 500,000 cameras after he arrived at his post in Chongqing in 2007. In 2009, Bo Xilai appointed Wang Lijun to be chief of the Chongqing City Police Department. Reports of arrests, torture, and imprisonment of Falun Gong practitioners in Chongqing escalated.
According to Minghui reports, Bo Xilai claimed to bolster efforts to make Falun Gong practitioners renounce their belief in Falun Gong. He shortened the 2010-2012 three-year plan to two years for favorable results and political gain. In the time that Bo Xilai served in Chongqing, nearly 20 Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death.
In 2011, more than 360 Falun Gong practitioners in Chongqing faced varying degrees of persecution. 277 of them were arrested, 22 were sentenced to forced labor, and more than 70 faced harassment or threats from the police or their local residence committee. The police ransacked most of the practitioners' homes. In some districts and counties, every Falun Gong practitioner was victimized.
In addition to the local police, many people were hired to monitor practitioners around the clock. In 2009, 188 Falun Gong practitioners were either arrested, detained, or had their homes ransacked. Six people were tortured to death, 18 were imprisoned, 76 were incarcerated in forced labor camps, and five were sent to psychiatric institutions.
For example, Mr. Tang Yi, a senior railway engineer and a local resident in Anju Town, Tongliang Township, Chongqing City, faced long-term imprisonment because of his faith in Falun Gong, according to Minghui. He was tortured with many cruel methods. In April 2009, Mr. Tang was paralyzed from the waist down, became incontinent, and his lower body began to fester. He died at the age of 46, on September 22, 2009, as a result of the torture inflicted on him.
Mr. Liu Guangdi, a senior engineer in his 60s, was another victim of persecution in Chongqing. He was arrested during the 2008 Olympic Games and sentenced to one year at the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp. He was severely tortured and given large quantities of unknown drugs. He became critically ill and died on September 25, 2010, as a result of the torture he endured at the camp.
Bo Xilai Has Faced Lawsuits Accusing Him of Genocide and Torture in Many Countries
For his role in China's persecution of Falun Gong, Bo Xilai has been served with both civil and criminal lawsuits in 12 countries. An Australian court found him guilty in a trial where he refused to appear. In November 2009, a Spanish court filed a lawsuit against Bo for genocide and torture.
In 2004, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police added 45 Chinese government officials to its watch list because of their involvement in the persecution of Falun Gong. These Chinese government officials could face denial of entry to Canada, repatriation, or lawsuits. Bo Xilai was included in this this list. It was said that Bo Xilai would accompany Hu Jintao on his tour of the United States and Canada in 2005, but Bo did not make the trip because he had been served a lawsuit on his trip the year before.
According to Minghui reports, Bo Xilai ordered the systematic arrest, imprisonment, and torture of practitioners while he was the mayor of Dalian City. As a result, Dalian became one the cities where the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners was most severe. The Dalian Forced Labor Camp, notorious for torturing and sexually abusing Falun Gong practitioners, was praised by CCP officials as one of the most "progressive institutions" for its "renowned achievements in 'reform' education." The Dalian Police Department was given a level-one award for its achievements in suppressing Falun Gong.
According to the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), while Bo Xilai was posted in Liaoning Province, some of the most severe persecution of Falun Gong occurred there. Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and Dalian Forced Labor Camp were notorious for inventing brutal methods of torture and inflicting them on imprisoned practitioners.
Former Canadian MP and Canadian Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) David Kilgour cited a piece of evidence in his report on the CCP's live organ harvesting on May 24, 2007: "The wife of a surgeon revealed the organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners after her husband confessed to removing corneas from 2,000 Falun Gong practitioners at a hospital in Liaoning province while Bo was governor."
Wang Lijun Directly Responsible for Organ Harvesting Atrocities Inflicted On Falun Gong Practitioners
According to a witness, while Wang Lijun was chief of the Jinzhou Police Department, he masterminded and orchestrated large-scale arrests of Falun Gong practitioners.
For example, in the early morning of February 25, 2008, the police in Guta, Linghe, and Taihe simultaneously arrested nearly 30 practitioners. They ransacked their homes and confiscated their personal belongings and more than 100,000 yuan in cash. Lu Tao, an officer from the Taihe Police Department, brutally interrogated Ms. Liu Fengmei, Mr. Qu Chengye, and Mr. Huang Cheng. Mr. Huang later was tortured to death in Panjin Prison at the age of 56.
Evidence shows that Wang Lijun also participated in the live organ harvesting. In 2002, the witness, who was working for the police system of Liaoning Province, participated in illegal arrests and torture of Falun Gong practitioners (see reference [1]). The witness was an armed police guard by that time and witnessed two military surgeons remove the organs from one living female Falun Gong practitioner. On April 9, 2002, the Liaoning Police Department sent for two military surgeons, one from the General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region of People's Liberation Army and the other one a graduate of the Second Military Medical University. They transferred this practitioner to the General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region. While she was fully conscious, without using any anesthetics, they harvested her heart, kidneys, and other organs. The organs were harvested under the jurisdiction of Wang Lijun, the police chief of Jinzhou Police Department.
The witness added that he heard Wang Lijun say that we "must eradicate all [Falun Gong practitioners]." (see reference [1]) The witness had previously arrested and tortured Falun Gong practitioners before he came forward with the reports. Institutions in Liaoning Province severely persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. According to Minghui.org, there have been 406 confirmed deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in Liaoning Province.
In an academic article entitled "An Empirical Study on the Donors' Organs after Drug Injections," Wang Lijun is listed as a co-author although he has no medical background. Was he given credit as the supplier of human bodies for the study?
In Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, at least 500 Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested. 71 have been tortured to death, and more than 30 have become handicapped according to Minghui.
Goodness is Rewarded, Evil is Punished
According to a random health report from China's Police Department, more than 70% of the police force failed their physicals, 30% of the police suffer from heart disease, 40% had high blood pressure, 30% had gastric diseases, 20% had arthritis, and 16% had hepatitis. 80% of those surveyed want to quit their job.
After Wang Lijun's recent visit to the No.3 Military Medical University in Chongqing, a Chinese blogger (unconfirmed source) posted the findings. The blogger wrote that Wang Lijun slept only 2 to 3 hours a day and was so worried that he would leave the lights on when he slept. Also that Wang later became hysterical and had thoughts of suicide.
Someone commented online, "Wang Lijun killed too many people and did too many bad things. Now he is suffering from karmic retribution."

(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Lijun, vice-mayor and former police chief of Chongqing, a city in southwest China, suddenly sought protection from the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu City, a four-hour drive west, on February 6, 2012.
The Washington Free Beacon website, in a long article entitled “House Probes Botched Defection in China,” revealed detailed information about Wang Lijun, who stayed the night at the consulate. The February 15 article was written by veteran editor Bill Gertz, a national security writer who specializes in China issues. The article quoted a U.S. official familiar with Wang's debriefing at the U.S. Consulate, saying that Wang provided details about “corruption and links to organized crime by his boss, Bo Xilai, as well as details about Chinese police repression of dissent.”
Wang Lijun was Bo Xilai's right-hand-man. Bo Xilai is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) chief in Chongqing. According to a reliable source, CCP Central Disciplinary Committee officials had a secret conversation with Wang Lijun prior to New Year's Day 2012, asking him to hand over all recordings of Bo Xilai's remarks, and to cooperate in overthrowing Bo. When Bo discovered that Wang was under investigation, he removed Wang from office, trying to make a clear break from him. Wang feared Bo would assassinate him in order to keep him from testifying to Beijing authorities, which is the main reason that he sought protection from the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu.
Wang Lijun's request for asylum was rejected by the U.S. Consulate. He thus was required to leave the U.S. Consulate on the day after his arrival. One of the main reasons was his participation in the persecution of Falun Gong. The United States is a country that takes freedom of belief and human rights as its fundamental values, so how can it protect a criminal who has demonstrated that he has no respect for human rights and persecutes innocent people who remain steadfast in their beliefs?
During Wang's tenure as Jinzhou City Police Department head, he ordered that Falun Gong practitioners must be thoroughly eradicated. He also directly oversaw the physical abuse and torture of Falun Gong practitioners. According to evidence collected by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), Wang Lijun is suspected of having participated in forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners when he worked as police chief in Jinzhou.
In Wang Lijun's official resume, there is a section that has nothing to do with his role as a police chief. Although he has no corresponding academic qualifications, during his tenure, he was recognized as having made an achievement in organ transplant research, titled: “The first experimental research on organ transplantation in China after injection of medications.” [The injections were probably anti-coagulants and medications that lower the chance of immune system rejection of the transplanted organ.] This suggests that Wang Lijun was directly involved in organ transplantation.
No One Can Escape Heavenly Retribution
Since July 20, 1999, the Tieling City Police Department headed by Wang Lijun followed Jiang Zemin's genocidal policy to ruthlessly persecute Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to extortion, detention, forced labor terms and imprisonment. Regardless of whether they were elderly, or young mothers with infant children, none were spared. Wang also instigated police officers to use police dogs to threaten and attack Falun Gong practitioners in 2001.
Practitioners in Tieling compassionately spoke with Wang Lijun about Falun Gong and told him about the principle that good will be rewarded with good and evil will meet with karmic retribution, in the hopes that he would stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. But Wang refused to listen to them, and instead he publicly claimed, “Let's put aside all murder cases, and focus specifically on Falun Gong. We are not afraid of karmic retribution.”
Having been brainwashed by the CCP's atheist ideology, Wang Lijun does not believe that good will be rewarded with good and evil will meet with karmic retribution. Nor does he value human life. Instead Wang sought to garner favor with the CCP and make a name for himself by killing people. However, disbelief in divine beings does not mean that they do not exist, and disbelief in karmic retribution does not mean that one can escape the constraints of heavenly principles.
A Lesson for All Those Who Have Participated in the Persecution
Many communist officials have been rewarded politically for their participation in the persecution of Falun Gong. The regime has lied to those who are involved in the persecution, deceiving them in order to make them feel at ease with their roles in the persecution. Thus, officials like Wang Lijun participated in the persecution to seek a name and personal advancement, and were encouraged to continue committing crimes.
If it had not been for the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, Wang would have not committed such a monstrous crime by participating in the forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners.
As one of the participants in forced organ harvesting, Wang Lijun has first-hand evidence of the CCP's crimes. In particular, he has knowledge of the time between 2001 and 2004, during Bo Xilai's tenure as deputy Party secretary and governor of Liaoning Province, when the forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners was most rampant.
A victim of the CCP himself, Wang Lijun was able to flee to the U.S. Consulate to save his life. In order to atone for his sins, he should tell the world what he knows of the CCP's organ harvesting atrocities against Falun Gong.
Wang Lijun's is an example that other CCP officials, especially those who have participated in the forced organ harvesting, should pay close attention to. In order to carry out their criminal acts, the CCP has used them as tools. When the critical moment comes, the CCP will not protect them. What future do these people have? Only by seeing through the CCP's evil nature, exposing the facts about the persecution, and atoning for their crimes, can they hope to find a way out.
(Clearwisdom.net) On December 16 & 17, two Falun Dafa practitioners raised awareness about Falun Dafa in Allahabad City in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. They demonstrated the exercises in the Company Garden of Allahabad and told people about the practice and about the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China. People were very receptive. Two youngsters learned all five exercises on the second day and took the exercise CD with them.
An article was also published in the Hindustan Times, one of the biggest English daily newspapers in India. The reporter who wrote the article was very keen to learn the exercises. He bought Dafa books, took the CDs, and learned the exercises from one of the practitioners.

Engineers Show the Way to Spirituality

Both practitioners are software engineers, but they are devoted to this practice as well. They said that everyone would benefit from following the philosophy of this spiritual practice, which teaches Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and is very beneficial for the mind and body. This practice includes five sets of exercises and can be done by people of all ages. The main focus of this practice is spiritual growth and Enlightenment.
Falun Gong is presently being practiced by 100 million people in over 114 countries. This practice is free. Abhishek & Deepak said that Falun Dafa is easy and effective. Basically, it can be divided into two parts: the practice of the mind and the practice of the body. In the practice of mind, the focus is on one's character and spiritual growth. There are many aspects to it: letting go of bad habits, the understanding of loss and gain, letting go of sentimentality, and in the end assimilating to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The practice of the body includes five exercises that are very effective.
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa was introduced during the International Seminar on Physical Education, Recreation, and Yogic sciences, held at Banaras Hindu University from January 19 to 21. A Falun Dafa practitioner, who was invited to participate, made a PowerPoint presentation focusing on the health benefits of Falun Dafa and concluded with a truth-clarification video. For three days, practitioners hosted a display of posters, banners, books, magazines, flyers, and other materials. A workshop was also conducted for students to begin learning the five sets of exercises. Many students and teachers from different parts of India and Mauritius attended. During the workshop, practitioners were invited to introduce the practice in other areas of India.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the oldest residential university in India, established in 1916, has a picturesque 1,400-acre campus housing 3 institutes. Banaras, one of the oldest cities in the world, besides being a cultural and religious centre in India, has remained from ancient times a great seat of learning.

On February 5, the Academique, a discussion group from the Law School of BHU, invited a practitioner to take part in a human rights symposium to focus on the topic “The Persecution of the Falun Dafa Principles and Practice in China.” The session lasted around 3 hours. Three students each made a ten-minute presentation on the topic, followed by a PowerPoint presentation and talk by a Falun Dafa practitioner. The music video chronicling the July 20, 1999 start of the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party moved those in attendance, including the journalists who had come to cover the event. Five to six students shared their findings and impressions on the persecution of Falun Dafa in China.
It was indeed amazing and inspiring how students had worked within a short time to make solid presentations. Students and audience members asked several questions about the persecution, expressing their shock and empathizing with the practitioners being persecuted in China. The Dean of the Faculty of Law proposed a vote of thanks and gave a moving talk about human rights and the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. The following day, articles about Falun Dafa and the persecution were printed in at least 6 local newspapers in the local language, Hindi.

(Clearwisdom.net) One of the requisites Teacher left to practitioners is group Fa study and experience sharing. Our local practitioners actively participate in group Fa study, which has greatly helped our cultivation. That is very good. However, there are some problems that I would like to bring up, as they could create problems for practitioners in the future.
Security Issue Related to Cell Phone Use
For a long time, some practitioners brought their cell phones to the Fa study site. They didn't turn them off or mute them. Very often when we were concentrating on Fa study, a phone rang or someone received a text message. Practitioners pointed out that it was not safe to leave the cell phone open and suggested that it was even better not to bring the cell phone to the Fa study site. Some talked about many published reports concerning security issues related to cell phones. Some responded, “We have strong righteous thoughts. We are not afraid,” or “Our area is so rural. The evils cannot find us,” and so on.
Think about it – maybe you have strong righteous thought, but does that mean that the whole group has strong righteous thoughts?
Remember that Master said: “Dafa disciples are one body” (“Following Master” in Hong Yin III).
We need to keep the following in mind: "What if someone in the group doesn’t have strong righteous thoughts and has been taken advantage off by the evil?" The old forces are monitoring every practitioner at every moment. Aren't we providing an opportunity for the evil to persecute practitioners? Don’t think that only being arrested counts as persecution. The tribulations that practitioners encounter also are persecution.
Some people say that evil in rural areas isn't a match for practitioners and is incapable of bringing harm. In my view, evil is evil, no matter where it is. The reason why the environment in our area is good is because our local practitioners were and are diligent in their Fa study and have strong righteous thoughts. They are doing a good job, so the evil is frightened. However, we cannot ignore the security issues. We need to prevent disaster from happening.
In addition, when our cell phone rings during Fa study, isn’t it disrespectful to our Teacher? A practitioner with an open celestial eye saw that, in other dimensions, the Gods kneel when studying the Fa. From this, we should understand that Fa study is such a solemn event. We are the “practitioners of the Fa-rectification period.” How can we be so casual about Fa study? It is the heavenly Fa we are studying. What is more important than this? Master said:
“Genuinely cultivate Dafa,
Only this is great.”(“Obtaining Fa” in Hong Yin, Version B).
To be responsible to Dafa, to sentient beings, to fellow practitioners, and to ourselves, please don’t bring your cell phone to Fa study or at least take the battery out 200 meters away from the Fa study site. This is of even greater importance when the Fa study site is at the truth clarification material production site.
Everyone needs to pay attention to this issue. Cultivation is serious. We cannot neglect even one single thought.
Be Attentive during Fa Study
Teacher said:
“This is especially true with Fa-study: you really need to study the Fa with utter seriousness. Do you know what has become of Fa-study in many places? In some areas it has lapsed into a formality. When some people read Zhuan Falun they are not concentrating, but rather, thinking about other things, and not able to focus their attention on cultivation. It thus amounts to wasting time. And not just wasting time—instead of it being the time when they are to be elevating, they are using their minds to think over issues and things that they shouldn’t concern themselves with, and thus, not only aren’t they elevating, but on the contrary, they are often dropping in level. If you don’t study the Fa well, there are many things you will not be able to do well.” (“Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference”)
Fellow practitioners, please look inward and see that Teacher is addressing each and every one of us. I think that, in particular, our area falls short in this regard. Some people don’t listen or read attentively while other practitioners are reading the Fa. Instead, they talk among themselves. Sometimes they talk about issues in ordinary society, as if Fa study is a social gathering. Isn’t this treating the Fa study as a formality? Teacher has told us that our cultivation is the priority. Are we really cultivating? Teacher has explained explicitly the issue of Fa study and we have studied the Fa many times. How come we can’t still improve? If we cannot cultivate well, how can we do the three things well? How can we fulfill our grand prehistoric promise that we will return to our origin with Teacher?
“That is why Fa-study is still the most, most important thing—it is the fundamental guarantee for all that you are to do. If you cannot keep up in Fa-study, then there is no hope.” (“Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference”)
Fellow practitioners, please cherish the environment that Teacher has left for us and let it become the true environment for “Compare in studying, compare in cultivating,” so that we can improve every time during Fa study.
(Clearwisdom.net) Before I started practicing Falun Dafa, I suffered from many illnesses. None of the treatments helped, whether it was Chinese medicine, Western medicine or various qigong practices. I had reached the point where I wanted to die and thought of committing suicide. Fortunately, in April 1996, I encountered Falun Dafa. After I started practicing Falun Dafa, my illnesses disappeared. Since then, I have completely changed into another person. I feel deeply grateful to Teacher for giving me a second life.
I have been taken care of my 15-year-old granddaughter since she was born. When she was about 5 years old, she saw that my head was transparent. She saw Teacher's Fashen (Law Body) above us in my sitting room. My daughter said that my face was glowing. This displayed and validated Dafa's supernatural and mighty power.
After I started practicing Falun Dafa, my daughter-in-law's business became prosperous, and everyone in my family was healthy. They all believed in and supported Dafa. Despite the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) suppression of Falun Dafa, my family members helped me protect Falun Dafa books, and my daughter-in-law helped me print Teacher's articles.
Life is as unpredictable as the weather. In November 2009, my daughter-in-law, who seldom had a cold, was diagnosed with leukemia. I understood that this was not accidental. During all the ten years I had been cultivating, the evil never stopped attacking my physical body and mind, hoping I would give up the practice. Several times, it appeared that I hovered between life and death. Due to my firm belief in Teacher and Dafa, the evil failed. Now it was trying other tricks and persecuting my daughter-in-law. Although the attacks were against my daughter-in-law, they were interfering with me. I had four children. My oldest son died of lung cancer at the age of 35, at a time when I had just practiced Falun Dafa for one year. I was so miserable that I almost died. My oldest daughter got a divorce. My youngest daughter is still single. Only my youngest son has a family. Subconsciously, I attached great importance to his family and expected much of them. I have been living with them.
I looked inside and found that I cared too much about qing. Moreover, for a long time I wasn't diligent in letting go of this attachment. The evil demons took advantage of my loophole and used it as an excuse to persecute me. They interfered with me and prevented me from doing well the three things Teacher asked us to do. It's just as Teacher said,
“Whichever kind of life form your thinking aligns with, that life form will immediately have an effect on you.” ("Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference")
After finally identifying the loophole, I studied the Fa every minute I could spare. I spent one hour a day on sending righteous thoughts including holding the thoughts, "I am a practitioner and Teacher Li Hongzhi's disciple. I have held human thoughts and attachments and now I will rectify myself according to the Fa. Only Teacher can look after me. My granddaughter also believes in Dafa. She supports Dafa and has quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Teacher will also take care of her. If you, the evil demons and communist specters attempt to persecute and interfere with us, I will eliminate you. If I do not eliminate you, the Fa will do it. If you do not interfere with me, I will make benevolent arrangements for you after I consummate in the future." I persisted in sending such righteous thoughts.
Immediately after that I was faced with financial difficulties. Ordinary people have to go to a hospital for medical treatment if they are ill. My daughter-in-law spent all of what she had saved for more than twenty years on medical expenses and we were also in debt. One night close to the 2009 Chinese New Year, when only my granddaughter and I were at home, thieves broke into our home and stole our computer, cell phone and other items. After the New Year, I went to visit my younger sister. On my way back home on the bus, I lost my bag, which had more than 600 yuan inside and gifts from my relatives. Soon after that, the upper cupboard in my kitchen fell down. The cupboard and everything inside it broke into pieces. More than half of the ceramic boards on the outside wall at the door entrance came off. It was one disaster after another.
I thought of Teacher's Fa,
“Material wealth does not come with birth, and neither will it go with you after death—they are very hollow.” (Zhuan Falun)
“If something is yours, you will not lose it. If something is not yours, you will not have it even if you fight for it.” (Zhuan Falun)
I thought that maybe I owed someone something and was now repaying this debt in this way, following the course of nature. I knew that Teacher was looking after me. I let go of my attachments and the evil in other dimension was eliminated naturally. Not long after that, I received a 600 yuan credit on my cell phone – Teacher helped me find a way to have the money returned. When this happened I couldn't express my feelings in words. I shouted loudly in my heart, “Teacher, thank you. Teacher! Thank you!” At that moment I understood a deeper meaning of Teacher's Fa,
“Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.”(Zhuan Falun)
In April 2010, my daughter-in-law was going to transfer from the hospital in Chongqing to one in Beijing for a bone marrow transplant. We knew that if the operation failed she would die. She was downcast and very depressed. One day at lunch, she and my son had an argument. I tried to step in and resolve the conflict, but she suddenly sat on the ground. She cried and targeted me, loudly complaining that I regarded her as an outsider and bossed her around, and she said many ugly words. She pummeled anything in her way and rushed out of the room and seemed to be totally out of her mind. We had never spoken angry words to each other, and our neighbor and friends admired our harmonious family life. I knew that this was another harsh tribulation I had to overcome. I thought of Teacher's Fa,
“When your friends or family suffer, are you moved? How do you weigh them? This is how difficult it is to be a practitioner! ” (Zhuan Falun)
I sent strong righteous thoughts, "You evil beings are poisonous. But you are not allowed to interfere with me. I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. Teacher has spoken of such interference." Teacher said,
“As a practitioner one should not fight back when being punched or insulted.” (Zhuan Falun)
“Whenever you encounter a problem, you should first consider whether others can put up with this matter or if it will hurt anyone. In doing so, there will not be any problems. Therefore, in cultivation practice you should follow a higher and higher standard for yourself.” (Zhuan Falun)
While sending righteous thoughts, I maintained a mind of kindness and apologized to her, “Sorry, it's all my fault.” My heart was not moved at all. It seemed that she was not blaming me. As a practitioner, how could I consider myself as an everyday person? My son had no choice but to hold her tightly just in case she had an accident. I watched her from noon until night. Finally my daughter came and we carried her to the bedroom where she fell into a deep sleep.
The day when she left for Beijing, I asked her to go downstairs. She burst into tears. After she left, I cleaned the room and found that she had kept some materials on Buddhism. Later, I was told that her mother believed in Buddhism. I realized that she didn't listen to the Falun Dafa lectures or watch the Shen Yun DVDs that I had given her. There had to be some reason for that. I put aside the Buddhist materials and didn't dispose of them right away. It's her own business what to believe and nobody could force her. Later she asked me to dispose of those things.
During the winter vacation, I took my granddaughter to see her in Beijing. As soon as we entered her hospital, my daughter-in-law immediately introduced me to her roommate, “This is my mother-in-law who is over 70 years old. She has not taken any medication since she began to practice Falun Gong more than ten years ago. Several times when I couldn't afford medication, I said in my heart, 'Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!' and passed through the danger. All those who were diagnosed with the same disease at the same time have passed away.” Her roommate, a college student, said, “Aunty, you are so healthy,” and said to my granddaughter, “Your mom has been hoping to see you every day. She has missed you so much!”
The doctors said, “How dare you say that your mother is a Falun Dafa practitioner?” My daughter-in-law said, “Falun Gong is really great! How could the CCP persecute it?” I had brought some Dafa amulets and an MP3 player. She took them immediately and put them inside her bag. She had believed what her [birth] mother had told her before leaving home, so she didn't take with her the MP3 player I gave her. This time she said to me, “I decided not to believe what my mother is practicing. I got rid of all the things from Buddhism that she gave to me.” When she saw the Dafa materials I had brought, she was crying. After I returned home, she called me several times and said while crying, “Mother, I missed you so much!” It's exactly as Teacher said,
“Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in spring
Righteous thoughts can save the people in this world”
("The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos," Hong Yin II)
Thanks to Teacher's merciful compassion, my daughter-in-law made it through this harsh tribulation. Now her physical condition is returning to normal. I hope that she can step onto the cultivation path after she is released from the hospital. Of course, I shouldn't be attached to this.
During the past year, I faced one tribulation after another. My being able to make it through is attributable to Teacher's compassion and Dafa's mighty power. I improved and elevated in my cultivation. This experience caused me to further understand Teacher's Fa,
“If you can actually do it, you will indeed find: 'After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead!'” (Zhuan Falun)
However, when compared with many diligent fellow practitioners, I still lag far behind and am still far from what the Fa requires of me. I identified more of my problems after reading Teacher's Fa lecture "Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa." I have confidence and determination to keep my heart focused on Dafa and will do what Teacher requires us to do. I will assist Teacher in the Fa-rectification.

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa at the end of 1998. I only went through a short period of personal cultivation before the evil persecution started in 1999. My understanding of the Fa was very shallow at that time, but Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance had taken root deep within me. During my cultivation, I deeply feel that when we truly cultivate Dafa, Master is always next to us.
The following really happened to me:
My brother-in-law had been living with his mother after he got married because he couldn’t find a place for himself. At that time, my mother-in-law was already 75 years old and lived with my brother-in-law’s family for a long time. As time went on, she had some conflicts with my sister-in-law. Later on, they did not even talk to each other. Seeing that my mother-in-law had no one to take care of her when she was sick, my husband asked me if she could live with us for a while. This happened in the summer of 1999. Although our place was small, I thought that, being a cultivator, it was important for me to have filial piety, so we brought my mother-in-law into our home. She has been living with us for 12 years now. She is 87 years old and we have been living together in harmony.
One Sunday in 2003, my sister-in-law came to visit us. As we were chatting, I slowly began to talk to her about my changes since I started to cultivate, how great Master is, how special cultivation is, etc. She listened quietly and attentively, and I could see that she trusted me fully. At that moment, I felt that she was also purified. That’s the power of Dafa. After she listened to me and saw how I treated my mother-in-law, she said, “Sister, you cultivate so well. Do you have a book? I want to learn Dafa!”
I was very happy to hear that, but it also presented a big test for me. Ever since the persecution began, Dafa books are very rare and precious and I only had one copy of Zhuan Falun. Because I constantly read it, it had started to fall apart, so I had re-bound it using a machine at work. At the beginning of the persecution, I made a pledge to Master, “Master, although I only have one copy of Zhuan Falun, I am determined to cultivate to the end!” Because my sister-in-law wanted to take my book, it was hard for me to give it to her! I couldn’t make up my mind, so I told her, “I only have this one book, but I have a set of lecture videos and a set of audios. How about you watch the videos or listen to the audios first?” But my sister-in-law said in an undeniable tone, “Sister, I don’t want videos, I don’t want audios. I just want this book!” Upon hearing this, my brain started to work quickly, and I asked myself whether I was being selfish. Isn’t it a good thing that my sister-in-law wanted to learn Dafa? Why couldn’t I give the book to her selflessly? Isn’t the goal of our cultivation to become a selfless person? How come I couldn’t let go of my selfishness at this critical moment? Then I said to her calmly, “Okay! I'll give you this book. You must cherish it and cultivate well!”
That evening after my sister-in-law left, I couldn't help crying when I thought about not having my book. I said to Master in my heart, “Master, this is the first day that I don’t have Zhuan Falun to read. I will read another Dafa book.” I opened the bookcase next to my bed and picked up a book. It was a thick book and I thought it might be Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa. I opened the first page and noticed with surprise that it was a brand new copy of Zhuan Falun. Moreover, it had a white book cover, just like the other Dafa books I had. What a miracle! During the past five years, I have read Dafa books over and over, but I had never seen this book before. I knew I didn’t have a second copy of Zhuan Falun.
I felt that all particles on every level inside my body were under shock. I suspected that my eyes were playing a trick on me. I turned the book front to back several times until I was sure it was real. Tears ran down my face uncontrollably. Master had seen that I wanted to study the Fa and gave me a new book. Master is next to me and helps me at every moment. I cannot put my gratification in words.
I told my story to many fellow practitioners. This miracle has inspired us to study the Fa better, cultivate well, clarify the truth, save people, be more diligent, and do our best to accomplish our scared mission of helping Master with Fa-rectification.
I have been walking my path of cultivation for 12 years now. During this time, I have been immersed in the boundless compassion and mercy of Master. I know that Master has given so much to his disciples. I also know that I still have many shortcomings and attachments. Yet, I firmly believe that if I believe in Master and the Fa, continue to study the Fa well and search inward and get rid of my attachments, I will be able to do the three things rationally and steadily. I will be able to fulfill my vows, reach consummation, and return with Master.

(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Xiaofei. I am 25 years old and a resident of Weihai City, Shandong Province. My aunt is a Falun Gong practitioner who clarifies the truth to our family members. We all know that Falun Gong teaches people to be good and that the practice is currently being persecuted. After we understood the truth, we all quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. We were blessed.
In June 2009, I got an urgent phone call from my younger brother who said that my fiance had fallen from a 10-foot-tall platform when he was working at the factory. When I went to the hospital to see him, it frightened me to see blood coming out of his ears. His face was swollen black and blue and disfigured. He was talking nonsense. The doctor said that he had intracranial congestion. We felt that there was no hope when we heard that.
I was scared, since I had never encountered such a difficult situation before in my life, and I did not know what to do. All day I did not eat, drink, or sleep. I cried all day. His employer arranged for four guys to help take care of my fiance, but he hurt so much that he always cried and yelled. He could not calm down. When I saw that, I did not dare to imagine how I could carry on.
On the sixth day, I noticed that my aunt had brought a Dafa amulet(1) when she came to the hospital to visit. Because I was so sad, I forgot about it. When I remembered, I looked for it and put it into his ice cap. During the night, he calmed down and the next day, he was rational. He no longer spoke nonsense and could recognize people. Everyone in the family was very happy. I told them it was because of Falun Dafa.
Three months after the accident, he went to the hospital again for a follow up and had a CT scan. There was congested blood inside his head, and the doctor said that a craniotomy was needed. I did not agree, but the doctor said that it had to be done since the blood would not disappear on its own. My mother-in-law secretly signed the operation consent form. My fiance also did not agree to have it done, because we all knew about the possible aftereffects of such an operation. Because we insisted that it not be done it, the doctor reluctantly postponed the operation for another two weeks.
After that, I read Zhuan Falun with my fiance every day and understood many principles about how to be a good person. It is such a treasure of a book. No wonder there are so many people studying it. What is says in the book is totally different from the propaganda on television.
Two weeks later when my fiance went to have another CT scan, the congested blood had disappeared! The doctors were all very surprised. When he was in the hospital getting treatment, the patient next to him had also fallen from ten feet up. That man underwent the craniotomy treatment six times. He spent over 200,000 yuan but did not survive.
My fiance did not have any complications. We got married in February 2010 and are very happy. Now we have a four-month-old child.
We feel grateful to Falun Dafa. We thank Master Li Hongzhi for saving the whole family. I wrote down my experience in hopes that people who do not know the truth will see through the lies so that they can be saved.
