(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25 and 26, the International Truth-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition was held in the Rayburn Congressional Building beside Capitol Hill. The Washington DC Falun Dafa Association sponsored the exhibition to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the April 25 appeal in Beijing. Many people came to view the paintings, including congressional workers, people coming for business, as well as people coming specifically to see the exhibition.

On April 25 and 26, the International Truth-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition was held in the Rayburn Congressional Building beside Capitol Hill.

Ms. Chen, host of the exhibition, said, “The purpose of this exhibition is to have more people know the facts of the persecution and the grace of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance through viewing the outstanding artworks. The more people know the facts about the ongoing persecution in China, the more people will help stop the persecution.”

Ms. Yang, an exhibition staff member, said, “People have been coming to view the paintings one after another. After viewing the artworks, they are amazed. Some expressed their admiration for the artists’ superb skills. Some were touched by the meaning of the artworks and said they would learn more about Falun Gong. Some expressed their concern about the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights. Many indicated that they were impressed most by the three paintings, Tolerance, Pure call and Orphan’s tears.”

Mr. Ralph Lake made a special visit to view the artworks and indicated that they are impressive

Mr. Ralph Lake from Frederick, Maryland and an expert on computers, used to work in the Department of Defense. He specifically came to view the artworks after seeing an advertisement in The Epoch Times. He said that the artists had profound skills and the artworks were impressive. He was interested in the spiritual content in the artworks. He said that he wanted to learn more about Falun Gong.

Dean, a congressional staff member, said that he felt sorrow about the tragic stories behind some of the superb paintings. He said he would continue paying attention to the human rights situation of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
