(Clearwisdom.net) On March 28, 2010, Shen Yun performed at the Chiayi Performing Arts Center in Minxiong Village, Chiayi County. Many of the audience had seen Shen Yun previously, some had heard about it from family or friends and knew they had to see it this year. In years past, Shen Yun performed in only Tainan or Kaohsiung. But, to the delight of the audience, in recent years the Shen Yun tour has included National Chung Cheng University in Chiayi.

As a loyal fan of Shen Yun, Chiayi City Legislator Jiang Yixiong and his wife have attended the Shen Yun show for the past two years. At the end of the show, Mr. Jiang stepped out of the theater in delight and said, "{I] hope the Shen Yun world tour can arouse global awareness and respect for human rights. " Legislator Jiang said that stories about Falun Gong practitioners in China who adhere to their belief even in the face of persecution are rarely presented on stage. Nowadays human rights are upheld by Taiwan and most countries as universal values. "Living in a global village, everyone has the duty to stand up for democracy, human rights and the freedom of belief."

Professor Liao Junjie from the WuFeng Institute of Technology, along with his wife and child, watched the final Shen Yun show. Professor Liao was moved the most by the opening performance The Emperor Ushers in a Glorious Age. He said, "I used to ponder about the responsibility of man. What is the meaning of life? These are worth our pondering. But the Shen Yun show has made it definite that every being is from the heavens, with their own responsibility." By watching the show, Professor Liao developed a deeper understanding of Falun Gong. He said, "Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted in China, but they never forget to promote Chinese culture. Through the performing arts, they convey correct information to their audiences to have them understand the facts of Falun Gong. This is something very meaningful."
