Falun Gong Practitioner Wu Guangyuan from Xinbin County, Liaoning Province Has Died as a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wu Guangyuan was a Falun Gong practitioner from Jiahe Village in Yongling Township, Xinbin County, Fushun City. Since the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20, 1999, Mr. Wu was illegally arrested and detained by police officers Zhang Rongqing and Cao Sixin from the Yongling Police Station. Later on, he was forced to attend a brainwashing session held at Fushun City Labor Camp.

In 2000, police officers Guo Huawei and Cao Sixin illegally sent Mr. Wu to a forced labor camp. Following his release he made a living as a tricycle driver, transporting people. Mr. Wu was steadfast in his belief in Falun Dafa and continued to clarify the facts to people. He was once again illegally sentenced to forced labor in July 2004. Police officers Guo Huawei and Cao Sixin pronounced the sentence.

In June 2006 Wu Guangyuan walked out of the Fushun Labor Camp with the power of righteous thoughts. But a few months later, on August 28, 2006, he was again arrested by police officers Guo Huawei and Cao Sixin and sent to the Fushun City Luotaishan Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Wu carried on a three-day hunger strike to protest the persecution. He developed edema after being released from the brainwashing center, and was diagnosed has having uremia. Wu Guangyuan died in March 2007.
