Torture at the Suzhou City Prison in Jiangsu Province paralyzed practitioner Mr. Chen Guanghui. He is in critical condition.

Fengrun District Court in Tangshan City in Hebei Province is preparing to try practitioner Mr. Li Xiangjie.

Practitioner Mr. Wu Jinshui was sentenced to one year of forced labor on November 25, 2006. He was taken to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province the same day.

Practitioner Ms. Liang Jinchun was sentenced to seven years in prison.

In the afternoon on December 6, 2006, police from the Baoqing District Police Station in Yihe City, Heilongjiang Province, arrested practitioner Ms. Du Jinyan at home. Her home was ransacked and her computer was confiscated.

Practitioner Ms. Li Fengqiu was arrested and taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, on October 31, 2006. When her relatives visited her on November 6, 2006, they noticed that she was mentally unclear. She did not recognize her relatives. She has not taken any food for five days and relies on others to get around. Authorities at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp extorted 500 yuan from her family, claiming that they would take her to major hospitals in Shenyang City for treatment.

Around 12:30 p.m. on October 31, 2006, policeman Zhang Jizhong from the Wujing Town Police Station in Linchun County, Shandong Province broke into practitioner Mr. Wang Zhaohua's home and arrested him. Police confiscated 200 yuan and truth-clarification materials. Mr. Wang Zhaohua is imprisoned at the Linchun County Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Yan Shijun from Kaifeng City in Henan Province, over 30 years old, was arrested and taken to the brainwashing center located at the Changcheng Building on Eighth Avenue in Zhengzhou City in Henan Province by staff from the Kaifeng City Political and Legal Committee and the 610 Office.

Around 9 p.m. on December 6, 2006, more than ten policemen from the Hejian City Police Station in Hebei Province broke into practitioner Ms. Zhao Xueying's home. They arrested and took her to the Hejian City Detention Center. They confiscated her computer, Dafa books, 1,200 yuan, a salary deposit card, and other personal items. Her five-year-old son was left at home alone.

In December 2006, practitioner Mr. Li Guowei was reported to police when distributing truth clarification materials in Wofotang Township. He is detained at the Hejian City Detention Center.

Police officer Chai Zhanhe and another officer from the Fendou Police Station in Jinshantun District in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province climbed over the wall of practitioner Mr. Zhang Peixun's home at 2 p.m. on December 4, 2006. They threatened his parents, ransacked his home, and took away his copies of Zhuan Falun and "Minghui Weekly" magazine and other Dafa materials.

The next day around 8 a.m., Wang Xuegang and other officers from the Fendou Police Statement broke into Mr. Zhang Peixun's home again. They took his parents to the police station and illegally detained them for three hours. Wang Xuegang interrogated them, asking for the source of the Minghui Weekly and the whereabouts of Mr. Zhang Peixun.

On the morning of November 25, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Yan was arrested and taken to the Da'an City Detention Center in Jilin Province. Her home was ransacked.

Police arrested practitioners Ms. Lou Qinnan and Ms. Huang Wanzhen. Ms. Lou Qinnan's home was also ransacked and police confiscated a lot of truth-clarification material. Their whereabouts are unknown.

A little after 7 a.m. on December 7, 2006, more than ten policemen arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Kaibi from Longwang Town in Cangxi County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. This was the fourth time that police arrested her.

Around six p.m. on November 30, 2006, police from the National Security Team in the Chaoyang District Police Station in Changchun City in Jilin Province arrested practitioner Ms. Che Pingping from the Northeast Normal University. They then broke into the home of Mr. Jiang Song, a medical doctor, at the university and arrested him. They confiscated his laptop and other personal belongings. Currently Ms. Che Pingping and Mr. Jiang Song are detained at the Changchun City Number 2 Detention Center (Tiexi Detention Center).

Practitioner Mr. Li Zhongrun is still imprisoned at the Anyue County Detention Center in Sichuan Province. Police arrested him on September 3, 2006.

In the middle of March 2005, policemen Guan Yong and others from Fushun City Police Station in Liaoning Province arrested four practitioners, Mr. Lu Guanglin and his wife, Ms. Luu, and Ms. Lin Guilan from Hongtoushan Town in Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province at a truth-clarification material production site. Their whereabouts are still unknown.

Around 8 p.m. on December 6, 2006, police from Dongguang County Police Station in Hebei Province arrested practitioner Mr. Li Huaixing at his home and confiscated his computer and other personal properties.

In the afternoon of October 30, 2006, police arrested Ms. Liu Xiufang at work. Police then used her key to open her home and ransacked it. Dafa materials were confiscated.

Around 9 a.m. on the next day, three or four police officers broke into Ms. Yang Mei's home and arrested her. They ransacked her home and confiscated her computer, printer and laminating machine.

At noon the same day, police arrested Mr. Zhang Xiulan at work. Police then ransacked her home and confiscated her computer, printer, and other goods worth several thousand yuan. They then searched for her husband, forcing him to become homeless and go into hiding.

Ms. Liu Xiufang and Ms. Zhang Xiulan are currently detained at the Huadian City Detention Center in Jilin Province.

On the morning of December 6, 2006, police officers and staff from the 610 Office broke into Ms. Zhang Shuhua's home at Qidaowanzi Village in Saliba Township in Aohan District in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. They arrested her.

Practitioner Ms. Zhong Ping was arrested and taken to Xili Detention Center in Shenzhen City in Guangdong Province for brainwashing.

Police arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Chunlan, 38, on May 19, 2006.

On November 26, 2006, staff from the Chengdu City 610 Office and Chengdu City State Security Bureau and police from Chengdu City Police Station beat practitioner Ms. Lan Dingrui on the street. She bled profusely. They then dragged her into the police car and drove away.

After being arrested by police, practitioner Ms. Wang Yingyi went on a hunger strike. She was in the office of the National Security Team of the Mouping District Police Station in Yantai City, Shandong Province. Even though Ms. Wang Yingyi became too weak to walk, police from the National Security Team took her to Zibo City Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province for one year of forced labor. She is imprisoned at the Shandong Province Number 2 Forced Labor Camp, and has to be carried to be force-fed daily.

Police from the Gaoyao City State Security Bureau in Guangdong Province arrested Ms. Huang Xiaojun when she was clarifying the truth about Dafa in Xiaoxiang Town, Gaoyao City, on December 6, 2006. She is imprisoned at the Gaoyao City Detention Center.

From late April to early May in 2006, police arrested several practitioners from Changji City in Xinjiang. One material production site was destroyed. About 14 practitioners were implicated. Nine practitioners--Ms. Zhang Yanping, Ms. Zhang Yanyun, Ms. Zhang Yanlin, Ms. Zhao Xuemei, Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen, Mr. Li Gang, Ms. Yang Yinjie, Ms. Yu Yuejuan, and Ms. Zheng Xinxiu--were tried at the Changji City Intermediate Court.

In the early morning on November 18, 2006, three police from the Jiugang Enterprise Group Police arrested practitioner Mr. Li Xueyuan, 30, who was on his way to distribute truth-clarification materials to villages. He is now being tortured at the Jiayuguan City Detention Center in Gansu Province.

Police from the Yantai City station in Shandong Province arrested practitioner Mr. Shi Ning from Dongying City on the evening of October 15, 2006. He is imprisoned at the Binhai Hotel in the Laishanwanguang District in Yantai City. He held a nine-day hunger strike and was hung up and beaten.

The management of Yunfeng Electricity Company in Ji'an City, Jilin Province, ordered all employees to continue persecuting practitioners on November 22, 2006. They forced practitioners to sign a statement promising not to practice Falun Gong any more and threatened to impose a 10,000 yuan fine if a practitioner continued to practice.

On March 27, 2006, police from the Zhalantun City Police Station in Inner Mongolia arrested over 30 practitioners. Among them, nine practitioners were taken to Tumuji Forced Labor Camp in Inner Mongolia.

On December 1, 2006, police from Pingyuan County Police Station in Dezhou City went to the Jinmaizi Flour Factory to arrest practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuping. They detained her at the police station and ransacked her home.
