Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wei Xu of Gansu Province Has Died as a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wei Xu, 66 years old, was illegally detained in a Longxi Township Detox Center for over a year. Because of his participation in Falun Gong truth-clarifying activities, Mr. Wei was abducted in January 2003 through the joint efforts of the 610 Office of Longxi Township, the National Security Office and the local police. He was sent to a labor camp twice, but he was rejected both times due to his high blood pressure.

Mr. Wei was released in 2004, but as a result of the physical and mental torture he endured, he suffered a recurrence of the severe high blood pressure and leukemia, which had been cured previously by his practice of Falun Gong. Upon his release, Mr. Wei was in an unclear, muddled mental state. Because of the continuing frequent harassment from the local police, Mr. Wei's condition worsened and he passed away at the end of October 2004.
