Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Pan Benyu from Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province filed a lawsuit in the Qiqihar City Higher Court against guards in the Fuyu County Labor Camp for defamation and the killing of Falun Dafa practitioners. Falun Dafa practitioners, Mr. Zhang Xiaochun and Mr. Wang Baoxian have been killed, and Mr. Pan Benyu has been brutally beaten many times. The Fuyu County Labor Camp, together with the Qiqihar City "610 Office," the City Political and Judiciary Committee, the Fuyu County Police Station, the Qinun Prefecture Procuratorate, the Fuyu County Court, and the Qiqihar City Middle Court spread lies against Mr. Pan Benyu. He said, "I was sentenced to four years in prison on July 31, 2002. I am innocent, please take a clear look at the situation! Return my freedom!"

Police from the Yangma Town "610 Office" and the substation in Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province have been suppressing local Falun Dafa practitioners for a long time by using close surveillance, home searches, or arresting. They painted slogans that defame Falun Dafa on the wall of a factory along the street, and hide near the painted words to trap Falun Dafa practitioners who come to remove them. As soon as they arrested Falun Dafa practitioners, they torture them brutally. Practitioners' hands are cuffed to a metal pole in such a position that practitioners can neither stand up nor sit down; it is very painful. Police curse at and threaten them with cruel words, slap practitioners' faces, punch and kick them, shock them with electric batons, and freeze practitioners outside in the cold weather. Police do not give food to practitioners, and send practitioners to the Chongzhou City Detention Center after they are tortured, where they are illegally fined.

On November 27, 2003, police in the No.4 area of the Heilongjiang Provincial Women's Prison started further suppression of Falun Dafa practitioners. They dragged Falun Dafa practitioners outside in the snow, cuffed their hands in the back, forced them into a sit-squat position, and beat and cursed them cruelly. There were many Falun Dafa practitioners injured on the spot. One Falun Dafa practitioner's leg fractured. On November 28, 2003, many Falun Dafa practitioners were locked in the small cells, the rest were dragged outside again to be "trained" during the day, and forced to sit-squat again in the evening. The persecution is getting worse. All Falun Dafa practitioners in the No.1 area went on a group hunger strike to protest the torture.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Meng Yi'nan in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province has been arrested many times because he validated Dafa, and went through numerous rounds of torture. Her husband was unjustly abducted by police, suffered a mental breakdown because of the severe torture, and can no longer properly take care of himself. Her happy family was destroyed as the result of Jiang's persecution. Meng Yi'nan was arrested in June 2003, while distributing truth-clarifying materials in Zhongmou County. She is detained in the Zhongmou County Police Station, and without an open trial, was sentenced to five years in the Xinxiang City Women's Prison.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Su Longzhi in Nanyang City, Henan Province, age 40, was sent from the Nanyang City No.1 Detention Center to the Shibalihe Women's Labor Camp, where she has served two and half years. She was sent directly to a brainwashing class held in the Nanyang Political and Judiciary School upon ending her term. She was tortured fifty days in the brainwashing class, then walked out of the brainwashing class after eight days on hunger strike. Another Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Yang Li was detained in the Neixiang County Police Station for 28 days during the summer of 2001, because she was accused of clarifying the truth there, and was fined 3,000 Yuan. Before the 16^th Party Congress in 2002, one day, Yang Li had a miscarriage in the morning, police stormed her house that afternoon, and took her away without considering that she needed rest. She was detained in the Dafenzhuang brainwashing class for more than ten days, and was fined 300 Yuan. On September 12, 2003, Yang Li was abducted and brought to the brainwashing class held in the Nanyang Political and Judiciary School.

One morning in the spring of 2003, I saw the two sons of Ms. Mei, my neighbor. The younger son told me that her mother was involved in accident, when her truck flipped over on the way to delivering merchandise! I thought, "Ms. Mei's life should not be in danger, since she always willingly brings truth-clarifying materials to the workers in her family-owned factory. She should be rewarded since she saved so many people unclear about the truth. So I ensured her children, "Your mother should not be in danger, since she spread Dafa, my Master will protect her." Her children were still skeptical. The next day, the kids came and told me, "Aunt, you were so right! My mother was truly protected, and only a little scratched. Both my mother and her driver were fine." Ms. Mei told me upon returning home that that place often had accidents, and others had died, because the cliff is seven storage buildings high. The truck fell down on the rocks and was totaled. People all said it was strange that they were fine! I told her, "It is was because Dafa was protecting you! You know the truth, and spread Dafa. My Master said 'Even when an ordinary person shouts out 'Falun Dafa is good' today, Master will protect him,...'"( Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference). Ever since then, Ms. Mei has been telling people how Falun Dafa saved her.

On November 26, 2003, at the time when thirteen Falun Dafa practitioners from Dehui City, Jilin Province were illegally detained and put on trial, eight family members of these Falun Dafa practitioners went to Dehui City Court to appeal. The Director and Assistant Director of the court instructed police to chase them away with violence. One old lady was dragged onto the ground, another was pushed inside a police vehicle and slapped in the face. Bystanders were very angry when they witnessed such violence.
