Ms. Zhang Chunli, 40 years old, is an official in the Human Resources Section of No.245 Factory of Nuclear Industry Ministry in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. At noon on June 13, officers from the Xianggong Police Station's Huanggu Precinct detained her from her mother's home. As she was a member of management in the factory, the director of the factory tried to bail her out, but the police officers refused to release her. They detained her in Shenyang City's Detention Center. The Xianggong Police Station was the location where Dafa practitioner Miao Qisheng was tortured to death not long ago.

Dalian City police authorities transferred 24 Dafa practitioners to Changtu County's Guanshan Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province. Officials in Shenyang City's Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp also transferred three Dafa practitioners there. It is said that guards in the Guanshan Forced Labor Camp relentlessly tortured Dafa practitioners. Determined Dafa practitioners from other forced labor camps were also sent to the Guanshan Forced Labor Camp for further mistreatment.

On the occasion of the 10^th Anniversary of Dafa's introduction to the public, Dafa practitioners in Qinghai Province further clarified the truth to the public with truth-clarifying flyers, compact discs, self-sticking signs and banners. According to sources inside the police authority, banners, which policemen in Xining City tore down with tremendous effort, took up the space of half of a truck, there were so many.

Mr. Ping Chunfeng, a Dafa practitioner from Qinghai Province, was illegally sentenced to a year of forced labor because of his determination in Falun Dafa. After being released in April 2001, Peng Chunfeng was illegally detained again for a month, because he clarified the Dafa truth to the public during the Spring Festival of 2002. Recently, personnel from the "610 Office" [An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Qinghai Province Teacher's College arrested Ping Chunfeng again and sent him to Duoba Town's Forced Labor Camp.

Due to the persecution perpetrated by Yu Yongjiang from Shuangyashan City's "610 Office," many local practitioners were illegally put into Forced Labor Camps, detained or arrested. During the Spring Festival, many practitioners were secretly and illegally sent to Forced Labor Camps. During their detention, police denied all visitations to practitioners. They also brutally force-fed and brainwashed those practitioners who were on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. For those practitioners who were firmly cultivating Dafa, police authorities monitored their phone calls, staked out certain spots to watch them, and forced their work unit to illegally expel them. They went to practitioners' homes without any due cause, to harass them. They even pried their doors open or jumped into the yards over the protective walls. They wantonly extorted money from practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Taking the chance of going to Beijing to detain practitioners, Hong Chen, from the "610 Office," brought his family along for sight seeing and made practitioners pay all the expenses.

Jiang's criminal regime controls the media, to make up rumors and lies using all means at their disposal to deceive the public. They even did not let elementary students get off easily, even forcing each school to indoctrinate students with lies.

Youyuquan District's Railway Elementary School in Yingkou City is a case in point. On June 16, 2002, photos of the faked "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" were exhibited on a wall in the school to frame Falun Gong. There even were two illustrators.

Ms. Liu Fengxia, a Dafa practitioner from Beijing, is very open and kind to others. She is also a firm cultivator in Dafa. At a quarter past 7:00 p.m. on June 5, she went out to deliver Dafa truth-clarifying materials to other practitioners. Unfortunately, the police followed and arrested her around 8:00 p.m.

According to information disclosed by some knowledgeable people from Xiaodao, Guangzhou City, the Judiciary Department recently decided to transfer those Dafa practitioners who are determined in their belief system to other places, namely Northwest China, Northeast China or Beijing, for further detention. They will carry out this from plan starting at the end of this month.

A while ago, staff from a police station asked some Dafa practitioners to write a so-called "Surveillance Cancellation Investigation Form." [Exact purpose unknown. Possibly a form to investigate what these practitioners do after the authorities surveillance was canceled or to be used to decide further police action according to what practitioners fill in if their surveillance is canceled.] Several practitioners wrote down their true thoughts and were thus immediately arrested by personnel from the police department and police station. Police also tailed, questioned, interrogated and detained many practitioners. They even claimed they would put practitioners into Forced Labor Camps. They also beat up some practitioners. Fenxi County citizens are now living under a tense and fearful atmosphere.

Under great pressure, a Dafa practitioner was forced to leave home and move around frequently to avoid illegal persecution. His/her whereabouts are now unknown. The police are currently expending lots of manpower and resources to look for him.

On May 25, 2002, some policemen broke into a Dafa practitioner's home. As the practitioner was not home, the policemen threatened that they would come the next day. This practitioner had previously been taken away from home and put into a Forced Labor Camp, so this time s/he had no choice but to leave home. The next day the policemen came again, failing to find the practitioner. They forcibly took the practitioner's spouse, also a Dafa practitioner, away at midnight with the excuse of inquiring about some matters. Upon arriving at the police station, policemen tortured the over 50-year-old practitioner for over two hours until the practitioner was unable to stand up and almost fainted. Some leaders from the "610 Office" and committee members from the police department were on the scene. [Note: The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute powers over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems]. Also present were two young men hired by the police. It was not until 3:00 p.m. the next day that they informed the practitioner's family members to pick him/her up. The senior citizen was beaten black and blue all over. The practitioner is still not able to use one of his legs.. Even though, the vicious policemen still didn't go easy on him. On June 4, a few days after the senior practitioner went back home and had just began to recover a bit, they again forcibly sent him to a detention center.

Recently some Dafa material centers in Gongzhuling City were destroyed and more than a dozen practitioners were arrested. On June 4, two fellow practitioners, a male and a female from Changchun City, were arrested on their way to Gongzhuling City. On June 6, another male practitioner from Changchun City was arrested on the way back to his residence along Kuangping Road. Another five practitioners, four male and one female who had prior contact with them disappeared, one after another. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Jianyang City's Custodial Center: To date, since October of last year, policemen from Jianyang City have detained four female practitioners, He Yan, Huang Xiuhong, Su Wenyu and Li Suying from Xindu City. Ms. He Yan was force-fed, put in shackles, handcuffed behind her back, tied by all four limbs to a metal bed called the "execution bed" and deprived of the right to use the restroom.

Jianyang City's Detention Center : Ms. Liu Dehui was taken away from home by police during last year's Spring Festival and has not been released up until now. Ms. Ye Shunying was arrested by police at the beginning of March and is still kept at Jianyang City's Detention Center where she has been force-fed for a long period of time.
