Protecting Dafa is Our Holy Duty
I'm 24 years old businessman. I attained Falun Dafa in March 1996. In the past 3 short years, I have deeply understood the power and mightiness of Dafa. What Dafa has given to me is beyond words. My body has been purified, my morality has sublimated, and I have understood the genuine meaning and purpose of human life. I apply the criteria of "Zhen, Shan, Ren" for myself, asking myself to think about others on every matter and occasion, to become a good person, and even better person, and eventually assimilate to the cosmic characteristics of "Zhen, Shan, Ren". Although I'm pretty young, I used to have severe stomach problems. I could not eat raw, cold, hot or spicy foods, and even had to take the style of eating several litle meals a day. I had serious hemorrhoids and blood would come out whenever I squatted. I also had arthritis and laryngitis. However, all these symptom vanished after just a very short period of studying Dafa. In my hometown, a lot of people had all kinds of diseases before practicing Dafa and they experienced miraculous recoveries after studying Dafa. Through the cultivation of xinxing and seeing the improvement of body conditions for these genuine practitioners, I came to realize the power of Dafa and the mighty mercy of our teacher. This is such a Great Law of the Universe, yet the central government banned it on July 22nd and issued an arrest warrant for our teacher. As a genuine practitioner of Dafa, how could I not step out to appeal? I think that it is as if our parents or relatives were wrongly accused we would just go to clarify it. We planned to appeal in Beijing, but the Police caught us enroute to Beijing. We were sent to the detention center. After being released from the detention center, we were under very difficult circumstances and we did not have the cultivation environment that our teacher left for us, i.e. group study and group practice. During this period I was quite puzzled, I could not concentrate on my study and practice. Some practitioners said that we just needed to quietly practice and cultivate while waiting for the change of the celestial moment. They thought that our appeal in Beijing was of human intention and could not change anything. However, Master said that: "without the human activities under the great cosmic changes, such conditions will not be brought to the ordinary human society, nor will they be called the cosmic changes." Master also said: "the energy field of orthodox Fa cultivation can rectify all abnormal states". If every one of our genuine practitioners could go to Beijing with a very pure state of mind, the incorrect things would be naturally rectified. Master said: Starting from yourself, protecting Dafa is also a holy duty for every Dafa practitioner. Therefore, after breaking through layers and layers of blockage, I firmly and decisively stepped onto my journey of protecting Dafa in Beijing. On September 27th, I was locked up at the Chaoyang detention center (in Beijing). At that time, the police questioned me: "Do you want to go home?" I answered:" very much." They then said that I should be grateful to them because otherwise I would not know when I could go home. At that time, I enlightened to the fact that Master was giving a hint to me through their words. I felt very calm in my heart. "Just let them catch me, I did not do any bad things." Then I promoted Dafa to him. After listening to my words, the policeman said:" I know that you're all good men; but the government said that you can not practice, so just practice at home by yourself". I told them: the government had not understood us correctly, and had beem taken advantage of by a few bad people. After being released, I recalled that the Constitution also entitles the right to appeal to the congress. On October 25th, I went there to wait for the Delegates. That night, there was an especially large amount of policemen. They caught several thousands practitioners. Because I did not want to be caught too early, I walked away under the nose of policemen. On the evening of Oct. 27th, together with several other practitioners, I went to a study site in the suburbs of Beijing. To our surprise, the police were waiting for us. I thought that there were more meaningful things to do, so I grasped a chance to jump out of the window before being sent to jail. At that time, a guy tried to stop me, but I did not listen. I didn't even think about how high it was above the ground. I just felt that I floated down, without any cuts to my skin. Later I heard that the window was about 4 meters above the ground. I enlightened through this experience that only under a pure state of mind could the power of Dafa be manifested in our actions. On October 28th, I had the good fortune to attend the Mainland China Falun Dafa Press Conference. At the conference, I held the Master's mighty picture with two hands and was deeply touched by the immense holiness. Our Mighty Master consumed all he has for all the sentient beings, giving us everything unconditionally. And now, under these severe circumstances when our Master is being defamed and our Dafa is being slandered, we broke through all kinds of hindrances and finally had a chance to tell the world about the holiness and solemnity of Dafa, the might and grand mercy of our teacher. We told the world the true story and asked for the support of the international community and to wake up the benevolent minds of people. I was moved to tears, all over my face, for having this chance to say to the world: "Dafa is great! Our Teacher is Great!" When we were lined up in two rows to practice the exercises, I stepped forward and said; "Let me call the instructions!" I stated with solemnity: "the third exercise Guantong Liangji Fa: Jinghua Benti, Fakai Dingdi, Xinci Yimeng, Tongtian Chedi!" This is the moment when 30 Chinese Falun Dafa practitioners represented millions of practitioners and practiced the exercises for the whole world to see in Beijing, on the day when the People's Daily declared that Dafa was an evil cult. Although in China some people control politics and branded us as evil cult, the mighty righteousness of our Dafa practitioners soared up into the heaven! We must resume the group practice and group study, the way of promoting Dafa that our teacher left for the world. We must advance earnestly together and head for the bright future. After the Press conference, one practitioner told me that the police dispatched a lot of men to investigate this case and claimed they would solve it within seven days. I didn't care at that time, "Let them catch me", I thought, "as long as I am free, I will put all my efforts into promoting Dafa and proving the righteousness of Dafa and let more people know the truth." I took some Dafa materials and prepared to go back my hometown, thinking that I should start from there and let the government offices and ordinary folks know the truth. I also wanted to share my experience with local practitioners. On the train, I found several passengers on the train were very interested in Dafa, so I took out Dafa material to let them read. One of them wanted to read "Zhuan Falun", I gave him the book right away. While we were reading Dafa material, a policeman, in uniform, came over. He confiscated the material and shouted at us:" who did this?" I said: "it is me." He fired up: " you really are bold, don't you know that you are branded as an evil cult and it is illegal? How dare you distribute these on my train!" I told him very calmly:" the government has made a wrong decision and is deceived by some vicious people. This is the Great Law of the Universe, teaching people toward kindness, to be good people and be even better people living completely for other people; you would understand it if you read the book." He ordered me to enter the security's room, asking me if I had some ID with me. I said no. He then asked me to write down my name and address. I felt that there was nothing to hide, so I gave im heformation. However, I did not want to be detained by him. Thinking about the holy mission of protecting Dafa and holding this mind, I got off the train on the halfway, very nobly and calmly. The Police did not notice. After that, I made a call to a practitioner in my hometown. She said that I was wanted and that the Police had forced my family to pay 5000 yuan for them to catch me in Beijing, and fined them 8000 yuan and threatened my family with trial. I thought that Dafa was still suffering the slanders by the evil forces, Dafa was still in the wind and rain, I could not let myself be locked-up in jail. I should keep protecting Dafa outside the jail. I must return to Beijing. Thus, I went back to Beijing once again. Dafa creates different living environments for living beings at different levels. My life is also given by the Dafa. Although I am wanted by the police, it did not weaken my determination of protecting Dafa. Instead, I became even firmer. As long as I still live in the world, no matter where I am, even if I am sentenced to years in jail, I will use all I have, even my life to protect this mighty Buddha Law! |
