"Falun Dafa Created Another Miracle for Me"

She is about to retire from her teaching position in a middle school. She has practiced Falun Gong for more than one year. She said Falun Gong purified her mind and body, and saved her from several illnesses that had almost taken her life. She said that it was Falun Gong that gave her a second life, and made her a better person.

In order to defend Falun Dafa and prove that Falun Dafa is a genuine super-science and a good spiritual practice beneficial to both the people and the state, she decided to go to Beijing to appeal during the New Year's holidays. On the train, she heard the New Year's greetings from the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, Jiang Zemin. When she heard this man boasting that "people from all over the world, regardless of nationalities and spiritual beliefs, join happily together", she sighed, "Mr. General Secretary, could you give us Falun Dafa practitioners a freedom of spiritual belief, and a freedom to assimilate to the supreme quality of the universe "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance"? She came up with an idea of going to appeal at the China Century Platform on the Tiananmen Square. Her wish was fulfilled. At 6pm of January 1, she climbed up to the center of the China Century Platform, and held up a banner reading "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance". She was immediately arrested by the police. She announced loudly and proudly, "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner!" and the police shut her month. Thousands of tourists under the China Century Platform witnessed her being arrested. The police searched her and found an appealing letter to Jiang Ze-min.

After she was escorted back to her hometown, she was detained under the groundless accusation of "damaging the implementation of law using evil organization". She started hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. During the hunger strike, she continued to practice Falun Gong twice a day and had never missed one day. She said that she felt very good when practicing Falun Gong. But she said that she had not done perfectly because she had taken a little bit of rice water under the pressure of her family members. However, she threw out most of it. Other than that, she did not eat anything for 12 days. Judging from her condition at that time, a police officer predicted that there would be no problem for her to continue the hunger strike for one more week.

Nonetheless, the police authorities gave in to her will and released her on the night of the twelfth day of her hunger strike, for fear of fatal accident. Her family members thought that there might be problems with her stomach and kidney because she had not eaten for so many days. After taking cereals and some vegetables for just a few days, she was able to recover and her face became rosy again. Some of her family members who did not support her to practice Falun Gong also acknowledged, "This is really miraculous."

She said, "Falun Dafa created another miracle for me."
