  • Witness Continues to Reveal the Horrors of Organs Removal from Live Falun Gong Practitioners Inside Sujiatun Concentration Camp

"My ex-husband did cornea removal. At the beginning, he didn't know whether those people had been granted permission. People who were on operation tables were not conscious. They were alive. He knew it after performing a few. He said that the person who asked him to do this kind of thing told him: you are already on this boat. Killing one is murder. Killing several is also murder. He said that later on he also knew that the people were alive. Where the organs and corpse were sent, he didn't ask."                   ---- Witness

    ************ **************

Another interview was conducted with the witness who came forward several days ago to reveal details regarding the Sujiatun concentration camp in Northeast China. In this interview the witness revealed that her ex-husband was one of the main surgeons in the concentration camp. He is a brain surgeon, and was mainly in charge of cornea removal. Because of the horrifying character of live organ removal and the burning of corpses, the witness and her family have had destructive life experiences. Every time she recalls events in Sujiatun, she endures indescribable pain. It is almost impossible for people in the outside world to imagine the degree of suffering those Falun Gong practitioners went through inside the camp.

The following is the translation of the conversation between the reporter and the witness:

Reporter: How did you know that all detainees at Sujiatun were Falun Gong practitioners?

Answer: They are all Falun Gong practitioners. For other people, they have relatives. Relatives would come to ask for family members. Only when Falun Gong practitioners are sent here, their families don't know. Masanjia and Dabei prisons detain a lot of Falun Gong practitioners. Now there are not that many any more. Everyday people are released. Where were these Falun Gong practitioners sent?

Those Falun Gong practitioners who were detained in Sujiatun, they had refused to sign a letter saying that they wouldn't practice Falun Gong any more. Many protested via hunger strike. They were very weak due to not having food.

Everyone was given a piece of paper. If you wouldn't practice Falun Gong, put your fingerprint on the paper, you would be released immediately. Once a person went out of where the practitioners were detained, the people inside didn't know where they went. They thought that these people were released. Or they were told that these people were taken to other hospitals for treatment. Those who were taken out were usually first beaten until they lost consciousness. Then anesthetic would be injected.

Reporter: According to the official web site of the Shenyang City legal system, the Sujiatun hospital organized in 2000 all Chinese communist party cadres to study the decision to persecute Falun Gong.

Answer : I didn't know about this. Sometimes my ex-husband lived in the hospital dorm. He usually didn't mention that kind of thing to me. He would simply call home and say he was busy, and then he wouldn't come home.

My ex-husband knew they were Falun Gong practitioners. Every surgeon knew it. At that time, they were told that persecuting Falun Gong was not counted as a crime. Instead, it was "cleaning" for the Chinese communist party. Those on the operation table were either mentally destroyed or had lost consciousness. Major targets of cornea removal were the elderly and children.

Many Falun Gong practitioners were detained in a one-story residential house in the hospital. This house was dismantled in 2003. We guessed that there was an unknown basement. They will not admit there was once the one-story residential house. They might say that it was built for peasant workers or the homeless.

My ex-husband was also worried that someday he would be killed for the purpose of destroying evidence. So he went abroad. Other people knew he wouldn't dare to speak out.

Reporter: Over the years, no relatives came to ask for family members?

Answer : During 2001 and 2003, only one peasant came to ask whether his family members were detained here. It was all secret. Nobody knew. When people were arrested, there was no paperwork. When people were released, there was no paperwork either.

Persecution is persecution. It is against humanity. As a Chinese, I feel quite sad. This is Chinese killing Chinese. It's unlike the slaughter in Nanjing when the Japanese invaded China. This is killing our own fellow people. No matter whether they practice Falun Gong or not, they are our fellow people. This is very brutal.

Reporter: How could the Sujiatun Concentration Camp remain so secret?

Answer : Because several people share the profit. So they won't tell others. This room here can hold at least 100 people. You know, when Falun Gong practitioners are detained, they are not allowed any private space. All are packed together. Maybe one goes to the toilet and comes back; one will not find any space any more. Many Falun Gong practitioners were detained in a one-story residential house in the hospital. This house was dismantled in 2003. We guessed that there was an unknown basement. A living room of a regular U.S. house can easily hold 100 people. Our hospital is very large. They will not admit there was once that one-story residential house. They might say that it was built for peasant workers or the homeless.

Reporter: Do you think Chi Mingyu, the head of the Sujiatun hospital, knew about this?

Answer : I think he should know.

Reporter: This is a concentration camp in a public location?

Answer : It's semi-public. Everyone has heard of this hospital. It's quite famous. However, people who don't have heart or thrombi diseases usually won't come to the hospital. So it's not an entirely public location either.

Sujiatun is a suburban district of Shenyang. It is like a rural area. Whether other hospitals in the Sujiatun District did the same thing, I don't know. Staff in the public health system can rotate within the system freely.

We found that supplies in the hospital suddenly increased. We guessed: what are so many people coming for? I commuted to work by a shuttle. We didn't care so much. We also didn't know whether Falun Gong was good or bad.

Reporter: How did you know about the live organ removal?

Answer : During the 2003 Chinese New Year, people visited each other for the New Year. For example, they gathered to play Chinese chess, or Mahjong. When they chatted, they talked a little bit about this kind of thing. I knew that my family had easy money, but didn't know the source. Later on, my ex-husband told me about this.

My ex-husband is a quite talented brain surgeon. Many heads of hospitals wanted him to work at their hospitals. It was easy to use him. He's smart. He knew how to obtain money.

When he joined the Sujiatun hospital, he was an intern doctor. Very soon, he was promoted to surgeon. Starting from 2003, I noticed that he was often absent-minded. For example, he watched TV holding a sofa pillow. When I shut off the TV, he would not notice.

At the beginning, my ex-husband simply said he wanted to find another job. I was very surprised: Why? We are having a good life here at Sujiatun. Gradually, he started sweating at night and having nightmares. When he would wake up, the bed sheet would be soaked with his sweat in a human shape. I asked him whether his job was too stressful. Sometimes he had long discussions with my father in our reading room. He said he wanted to change jobs and asked my father to help him. However, for some reason, nobody in our family helped him switch his job.

Finally, I couldn't tolerate any more. I asked him. Then he told me this. My friend witnessed Falun Gong practitioners detained in Sujiatun. Everyone knew that a lot of Falun Gong practitioners were sent from Masanjia and Dabei prisons. We didn't mind thinking about it. A lot of people who work at Sujiatun are from families of high-ranking cadres. We have formed this habit since very young: Do not ask anything that's not relevant to us.

The brother of one of my classmates went overseas in 2002 shortly after he participated in this business. He left after performing a few operations.

Reporter: What kind of operations did your ex-husband do?

Answer : My ex-husband did cornea removal. At the beginning, he didn't know whether those people had been granted permission. People who were on operation tables were not conscious. They were alive. He knew it after performing a few. How could there be so many people who donated their corneas? He said that the person who asked him to do this kind of thing told him: you are already on this boat. Killing one is murder. Killing several is also murder. He said that later on he also knew that the people were alive. Where the organs and corpse were sent, he didn't ask.

The he developed a retribution. He was even very nervous when driving. He could not live a normal life.

By 2003, many people in the public health bureau knew about it. Not only family members knew, even some outsiders knew about it.

My ex-husband told me that those patients who needed kidneys were in other hospitals. The kidney would be removed in the Sujiatun hospital. He didn't know much about the aftermath. Maybe corpses were sent to Sujiatun crematorium or the incinerator.

A person would not have cornea removal only. Very possibly, other organs would be removed from this person as well. This was no different than murder. When surgeons deviate a little bit, their knives are killing people.

I divorced because of this. If it had been extra-marital affairs, maybe I could still tolerate it. The fact that he could tell me this indicated that he had a little conscience left. If he hadn't told me, I wouldn't have believed it. He told me this with his own mouth. Nobody would say that he did something like this.

Reporter: Were there any other surgeons?

Answer: There are other surgeons. My ex-husband is a brain surgeon. It's not possible that he does kidney removal.

Reporter: Did those who were part of it feel that they did wrong things?

Answer : Between life and money, some people choose money. After I knew this, I told my ex-husband: "Your entire life is ruined. You will not be able to hold surgical knives any more." When you perform an operation for people, you will remember things you did in the past. I am not the surgeon. Even so, whenever I talk about this, I'm trembling and afraid.

Later, after my ex-husband completed procedures for going abroad, he had to explain to me why he had to leave. I told him that you could only choose things prior to this [live organ removal], but not anything after this.

I don't practice Falun Gong. I am not so noble. I did not come to the U.S. from so far-away to expose this to the world. My friend told me to travel to the U.S. to cheer me up. He told me that America is a country that emphasizes human rights. It's a free country. He said that you could speak out your experiences here. People think that I divorced because my ex-husband wanted to go abroad, and I didn't want to go. Others were not happy with me. They asked me why I divorced my ex-husband, and that he was such a good man.

Now we expose this to the world. At least a portion of people there can still survive. I don't care if they admit it or not. Exposing it will deter these evil actions.

I think for those who have read this news, if they have missing relatives, they should gather together and demand an explanation from relevant government agencies. When people disappear, they are either dead or crazy. Otherwise, they will find a way to send a message home.

The Shenyang Morning News reported on the 11th that a peasant worker was cremated without a family signature. The person is already cremated. Who knows whether the organs have already been removed?

I saw that there was a confession from a spy. There will be a confession from a doctor. He doesn't have to reveal his name. However, he can spread the information. Anyone who has done this kind of things feels the burden of guilt.

Mr. Zheng Yongguang Tortured to Death During Second Labor Camp Detention

Mr. Zheng Yongguang lived in the Shuangyang District, Changchun City, Jilin Province. He persisted in practicing Falun Gong. Communist regime officials unconstitutionally detained him five times, and he was twice sent to labor camps. During the first detention at a labor camp he was beaten so mercilessly that he sustained a ruptured spleen. Mr. Zheng required surgery to remove the spleen. During the second labor camp incarceration he developed liver cirrhosis and tuberculosis. He died on March 9, 2006. Following is his story:

Zheng Yongguang was 44 years old and had worked at the Shuangyang Fuel Company. He started practicing Falun Gong in June 1996. He quit many bad habits after he started conducting himself according to Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance and became a very good person. He volunteered to help other practitioners at a group practice site. After July 20, 1999, Communist Party officials cruelly persecuted him because he persisted in Falun Gong practice. Some things connected with this persecution are beyond imagination, and some are hidden. Below are some of the cruelties Zheng Yongguang suffered under this persecution in the past few years.

In September 1999, lawless officials monitored Zheng Yongguang's residence twice and then arrested and held him at the Shuangyang District Detention Center for more than one month. On December 13, 1999 he went to Beijing to clarify the truth. Local officials illegally detained him for 15 days.

In January 2000, Zheng Yongguang did the Falun Gong exercises in public and was again arrested and detained for 15 days. In March 2000 he was arrested again, this time from home, detained for 15 days and sentenced to one year of forced labor. He was savagely tortured at the Fenjin Forced Labor Camp. In September 2000, guards Pan Shuqiang and others ordered inmate Guo Huaicheng to beat Zheng Yongguang. They beat him until his spleen ruptured.

Many other Falun Gong practitioners were injured from beating. The guards feared exposure of their crimes and forbade Falun Gong practitioners to meet with their families.

In July 2001, Zheng Yongguang, who by this time was released from the labor camp, and other Falun Gong practitioners clarified the truth and carried with them some Falun Gong materials. They were arrested by Changchun police and detained at the Tiebei Detention Center for one month before being sent to the Xinglongshan Brainwashing Center in Changchun City. Zheng Yongguang held a hunger strike to protest the persecution and safely left the brainwashing center.

In March 2002, police from Shuangyang police once more arrested Mr. Zhen after some Falun Gong practitioners had tapped into the Changchun cable TV network and broadcast truth clarification videos. He was this time held at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp for three years in Group 1, where the sanctioned abusers are most vicious. They physically tortured and mentally tormented him on a daily basis. Zheng Yongguang always persisted in his belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. The persecutors barbarically tortured him during several attack campaigns. The guards and inmates stripped him naked and hit him all over his body with the handles of pickaxes. He lost consciousness several times. The abusers poured cold water on him and continued to beat him. Zheng Yongguang could not take care of himself for a long time after this incident.

After three years of detention the labor camp authorities refused to release him because he didn't "reform". They held him for one month beyond his term. By this time, Zheng Yongguang was showing symptoms of severe illness. The labor camp authorities reluctantly released him on March 30, 2005. He was very weak because of the spleen surgery and now suffered from cirrhosis and tuberculosis. He passed away at noon on March 9, 2006. His family and friends are deeply grieved and really miss him!

Detailed Information on Mr. Du Shiliang's Death

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Du Shiliang from Hailin City, Helongjiang Province, was persecuted to death in January 2006 in Mudanjiang Prison.

Mr. Du suffered severe heart disease and stomach polyps for many years before he started practicing Falun Gong. The expensive medical bills made his already tight financial situation even worse. Fortunately he started practicing Falun Gong at the most difficult time of his life, and several months later, his persistent ailments were gone.

In July 20, 1999, the persecution started. Mr. Du Shiliang began his path of truth telling.

In January 2002, Song Yumin from the Natioanl Security Group in Hailin City, along with police officers Jiang Yuntao and Jin Haizhu, broke into Mr. Du's home. The police kidnapped Mr. and Mrs. Du because they found equipment that could be used to make truth clarification material. They were held in Hailin Detention Center. In July 2002, the People's Court in Hailin brought the first Falun Gong case to trial. Mr. Du clarified the truth in the court and stated that he would continue to practice Falun Gong. The judge then arbitrarily changed his sentence from three to six years in prison.

In September 2002, the authorities moved four practitioners from Hailin Detention Center to Mudanjiang Prison.

Despite coercive threats, promises of gain, and brutal torture, Mr. Du showed a Falun Gong practitioner's incomparable compassion and forbearance. He never wrote any form of Guarantee Statement and clarified the truth whenever he had a chance.

Between 2002 and 2003, in order to "transform" Mr. Du, the guards in the No. 3 district of the prison intensified the persecution. They forced him to work long hours during the day and deprived him of sleep at night. They also instigated criminal inmate Shen Fuzheng to torture Mr. Du many times. These despicable acts did not stop until Mr. Du clarified the truth and reported to Wang Yongfu, an officer in 3rd Ward of the prison.

In April 2005, the 3rd Ward forced six practitioners into intensive physical labor. Because of the hot weather and the intensive labor, Mr. Du developed severe hypertension. His blood pressure was as high as 220. One week later, he was forced to clean up trash and haul water. He had to haul water from the prison to the factory each day. Each time he did this he was exhausted and sweating from head to toe. Mr. Du Shiliang was forced to do intensive physical labor for long periods of time and not allowed to read Falun Gong books and do Falun Gong exercises. This was extremely difficult for someone over 60 years old. Guards Gai Fu and Hou Jian were responsible for making Mr. Du perform extra labor for long periods of time.

On January 13, 2006, Mr.Du's family visited him in prison. On January 20 they received notification that Mr. Du had died that day due to an acute illness.

When Mr. Du's family went to take his body home, the prison, the Political Legal Committee, and the 610 Office in Mudanjiang became extremely tense.

Twenty to thirty people in uniform surrounded his family. The relatives protested and requested to take Mr. Du's body home. Prison officer Li Xiangdong claimed that, because Mr. Du had died in the middle of his sentence, he could not be released to his family after death. After several days of futile negotiations, the police officers Jiang Yuntao and Na Yongshen had Mr. Du's body cremated without the family's permission and forced all the relatives to sign their names.

Since July 20, 1999, National Security Group leader Song Yumin and police officer Jiang Yuntao have been responsible for persecuting every Falun Gong practitioner in Hailin City. Bi Xu is responsible for every practitioner's illegal sentence. City Police Department Chief  Zhao Huajiang is responsible for every warrant that was sent out to arrest practitioners. Forced labor occurred in all the prisons in the Mudanjiang area. If one refuses to participate, they will subject that person to beatings, to being tied up, or to solitary confinement. In January 2006, the director of all the prisons in Helongjiang Province, Yang Wenxue, exclaimed, "Ten million prisons, one million wards." It is clear evidence of extreme greed, corruption, and inhumanity. Gai Fu and Hou Jian are the two policemen directly involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. When inmates beat up practitioners, these officers shouted, "We are carrying out official policy in persecuting you. So what? Go ahead and sue us."

Police Try to Cover Up Theirs Crimes After Torturing Liu Zhirong to Death

On the afternoon of January 11, 2005, the guards from Tianshui Prison in Gansu Province and the Secretary of Xifeng District Police Department took two police cars to Mr. Liu Zhirong's home and then' lied to 'his wife. They told her that Mr. Liu unsuccessfully attempted to commit suicide on January 10 in prison. They said that they tried to get him treatment and' were willing to pay for the cost, but Mr. Liu refused treatment.

Hearing this, Mr. Liu's wife immediately questioned the police if he was actually dead. However, none of the police officers answered her, and instead urged the' family to immediately go to Tianshui Hospital. Two people from the Zhaizi Town Bureau of Justice in Xifeng District, also went to the hospital with Mr. Liu's family members.

On the way to the hospital, the police told Mr. Liu's wife that, "Liu Zhirong used a blade to cut the artery on his neck." At around 2 a.m., as they were entering Tianshui, a number of policemen were already waiting for them half way to the hospital. By the time Mr. Liu's family arrived at Tianshui Changkai Guest Motel, there were many police cars parked there. Police controlled the entire building. Two policewomen and a male undercover cop feigned kindness and concern for Mr. Liu's family.

Mr. Liu's wife'' asked about her husband, but they would only say, "We usually stay in our office and had no idea of what was going on in the cell." The male undercover then said, "It was Liu's own doing. It had nothing to do with others." Mr. Liu's wife then asked what weapon he used. A policewoman replied, "Maybe a blade." She further' questioned them, "Liu Zhirong has been transferred from prison to prison over these several years,' and I have visited him at every prison he was at. I know that a shaving blade is not allowed to be brought into the prison, so where did it come from?" Nobody was able to answer her question. They were all rambling and could not say anything sensible.

On January 14, at around 8 a.m.', people from the Tianshui Court brought Mr. Liu's family to see 'his body. A secretary from the court told them that Mr. Liu's death was a result of suicide. However, Mr. Liu's wife again questioned them, "Where did the blade come from? If it was suicide, then what was' the reason? Why did he die only 20 days after being transferred to Tianshui Prison?" The secretary calmly replied, "We will surely give you a satisfactory answer."

Mr. Liu's frozen body was lying on top of a portable bed, and he only had red shorts on. His whole body was a yellow color, his lips were half-way open as though he wanted to say something and both of his hands were in a half-fist posture. There was blood on his forearms and hands. His abdomen concaved in and it looked like he had not eaten for many days.

Liu's wife cried and shouted, "He did not commit suicide! He did not commit suicide! He was tortured to death by you, the police! I will find out who the murderer is." She was about 3 to 4 feet from Mr. Liu's body. She wanted to get a closer look at the body, but the police held her back and pushed her around, finally carrying her out of the building. The rest of Mr. Liu's relatives and the court personnel remained inside as police officers stood outside the door.

Back at the motel, Mr. Liu's relatives said that there was a cut of 2 to 3 inchs long on the right side of his neck'. Two of his blood vessels were cut. There were no visible scars on his body, except on his right wrist from being tightly bound. Mr. Liu's facial expression was peaceful. The court personnel showed pictures of Mr. Liu's body taken from different angles. In the pictures, Mr. Liu's left hand was on the right side of his neck; his right hand was on his right shoulder; his thumb, index finger, and middle finger were held together; and below his right shoulder, there was a piece of debris from the inner layer of a broken hot water pot, which was warped with tissue and pressed into some marks of blood.

The squadron from the No. 1 Prison area kept saying that a prisoner called Huang got up at 1 a.m. on January 9 to go to the restroom. Later at 6 a.m., all nine inmates in the same cell got up except for Liu Zhirong, who had a blanket over his head and did not move at all. There was also blood found under the bed. At the time, both the bed and Mr. Liu were moved outside of the cell for so-called "on the scene" pictures to be taken. He had scars on his wrist consistent with the use of handcuffs.

That same afternoon, the police brought two forensics to accompany Mr. Liu's relatives for an autopsy. They took pictures of every part of Mr. Liu's body. The forensics said that since all of his blood was drained out, it was impossible to determine whether there were any scars.

After going through Mr. Liu's things, a set of bedding was found that was not the same one sent to Mr. Liu by his' family. Rather, it was a set of brand new militaryh bedding. The police said it was given to Mr. Liu when he was transferred to Tianshui Prison. This explanation 'makes no sense, giving more evidence that Mr. Liu did not die inside the prison cell at all.

Mr. Liu's wife knew of the cruel torture methods used inside the prison against Falun Gong practitioners because she herself practices Falun Gong. She knew that her husband was a true believer and practitioner of Falun Gong and was an honorable man. He would never have attempted to commit suicide. However, the rest of her relatives, deceived by the police, believed their' words. The prison authorities seized the opportunity to force them to sign a document. It contained five conditions as a so-called "agreement":

    1. Mr. Liu was a "criminal" who committed suicide.

    2. Cremation must be held locally at the Tianshui Cremation Facility.

    3. 'The prison will pay 6000 yuan as compensation for the family's difficult situation. (This was only agreed upon after the relatives argued for it; otherwise, the prison would not give any compensation. According to prison regulations, they do not issue compensation for death due to suicide.)

    4. Family members are forbidden to slander the prison or sue the prison at a later time.

    5. Family members can not go after Mr. Liu's property rights against the prison.

Mr. Liu's wife could not stand such unfairness, and she crossed out the word "criminal" on the document. However, after several hours of the relatives' persuasions, Mr. Liu's wife unwillingly signed the document. If she delayed it any longer, she risked not getting her husband's 'ashes.

On January 14, at 10 p.m.', Mr. Liu Zhirong's body was cremated at Tianshui Cremation Facility. He was only 43 years old.

Lawless Officials from the Central Ministry of Public Security Stationed in Shenyang to Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners

Falun Gong practitioner Yu Yang was the target of harassment and persecution recently. The Ministry of Public Security assembled hundreds of personnel, vehicles and plainclothes police posing as electronic merchants and shoppers. They employed high tech communication equipment to track and monitor the activities of Falun Gong practitioners over a long period of time. An internal source reported that tens of thousands of yuan were spent monitoring Yu Yang for over four months.

During this period, all the people who had any contact with Yu Yang, including his relatives and friends, were followed, watched, intimidated, threatened with extortion, and even arrested. His aunt, cousin, and other relatives (non-practitioners) were kidnapped and harassed. His mother's telephone was tapped and she was tailed. Yu Yang's clothing shop at Wuai Supermarket was interfered with so frequently that he could not conduct normal business.

The practitioners arrested as a result are: Wang Wechuang, Yu Jingquan, Chen Rongjun, Dong Mei, and Dong, etc. After brutal torture, the police sent them to the notorious Zhangshi brainwashing center in Shenyang City.

According to a person from Liaoning Province Police Department, this particular case of persecution was conducted under the supervision of the officials from the Ministry of Public Security, who were stationed in Shenyang specifically to persecute Falun Gong Practitioners. From the widespread use of social resources, the degree of the persecution, the use of high tech equipment and other despicable means used.

Who Is Responsible for Children Becoming Assailants? - An Open Letter To the Principal of a High School in China

On December 26, 2005, at about 8 p.m., a woman practitioner about 50 years old was talking to two people near the Eighth High School on Aiguo Road in Weifang City. Night study was just over and students were walking past the trio. Two male students about 15 years old overheard them talking. One of them shouted immediately, "Seize the Falun Gong (practitioners)!" They turned back and confronted the woman. The taller student did not say anything, just walked up her and suddenly hit the woman's face so hard she was slammed to the ground. Then he shouted, "Who let you talk about Falun Gong?" The two people who were talking to the women were so scared they left immediately. The woman just got up from the ground. The two male students immediately came up behind her and beat her again. She was hit to the ground again.

The woman said, "Why are you students are so brutal! Why do you hit me? Did your teachers teach you to beat people? Did Falun Gong hurt you? My illness was cured after I practiced Falun Gong, and I benefited from Falun Gong." She told them, "Falun Gong taught me to be a good person and to do good things. Falun Gong is persecuted." She struggled to stand up.

The two male students came up to her again and continued to drag and hit her. They said, "We won't listen to you. We just listen to our teachers. If you talk about Falun Gong, we will beat you." They continued beating the woman for more than 20 minutes. By then, many people had started to crowd around the scene. Some of them were students from the Eighth High School. The onlookers were very indignant at these two students, but because they didn't want to get into any trouble, everyone just stood there, talking and sighing. Two female students about 14 or 15 years old sympathized with the innocent woman. They stepped forward to stop the two male students, "Please stop! Are you crazy?" as they helped the woman up slowly. They cried and said, "Are you all right? Let us take you home." The woman's clothes were full of dirt and dust. Her hair was in a mess and her face was swollen.

On January 6, 2006, at about 9 o'clock, a 62-year-old woman was clarifying the truth to a middle-aged man and a student at the intersection of Aiguo Road and Victory Road. She gave them a brochure about Falun Gong. Some students from the Eighth High School who had just finished night study and were going home suddenly started to yell, "Seize the Falun Gong! Call the police immediately!" A male student on a bicycle chased the woman. A guardrail in the street separated him from the woman. He stopped the bicycle, chased her, and lassoed the woman's neck with the bicycle chain. He pulled the chain and dragged the woman by the neck, then kicked her viciously. The woman was towed down to the guardrail. The other students also shouted and yelled at the same time. The woman struggled helplessly and said, "You children shouldn't bully old people. I am as old as your grandma. You are committing a sin!" No matter what she said, the student did not stop.

By then, two middle-aged women were passing by and saw the situation. They came up and asked the student, "What are you doing? Don't you have parents and grandparents in your home? Stop it!" The student stopped and left with the other students. The two rescuers were concerned about the old woman and asked, "Are you all right? Is everything ok?" The old woman said she was ok, and they all went home separately.

When one of the women who had stopped the student walked to the corner of Furong Street, those students turned back and caught her. Five or six male students surrounded her and started to beat and kick her brutally. They said, "You are with that old woman. You are also Falun Gong (practitioner). We will call the police to catch her!" The woman was beaten down to the ground and rolled over on the ground. After beating the woman, this group of students swaggered away.

After the foregoing woman got home, her son saw she was black and blue, and dust was all over her clothes. He asked what happened. When the woman told her son what had happened, he was very angry. He asked his mother to tell him what the students looked like and he would go to the school and teach them a lesson. The woman told her son calmly, "Practitioners cannot fight evil with evil. Practitioners should tolerate and advise others to be good. The children are innocent. They do not know the truth because of Jiang regime's propaganda and lies. The teachers in the school were deceived and were used by the evil to mislead the students and made the students become assailants. We should not hate the students and the teachers in the school. We should tell them the truth. I believe one day they will understand this." His mother's words calmed down her son down and avoided a fight.

When state terrorism is introduced into peaceful school campuses, when good people who cultivate their hearts toward compassion are hated, when teachers and students are driven away from school for believing in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," when human morality is undermined and human nature is destroyed, where will the country end up?

How children are educated and influenced also affects millions of families and parents' hearts. A child is just like a blank sheet of paper. What the society and the family give to him will become what he is and will influence his entire life. Whether to use "sincerity, kindness and tolerance" or "lies, hatred and narrow minds" to educate the next generation is a huge social question facing Chinese society. Chen Zhili, Minister of Education Department, closely followed Jiang Zemin and launched the large-scale persecution of Falun Gong throughout the whole educational system. Her actions caused surprisingly serious problems within the Chinese educational system, putting that important system, so crucial to the future of the nation, in a very precarious state!

On China's 9.6 million square kilometers lands, hundreds of millions of kind and selfless people are practicing "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" under very difficult circumstances. No matter whether people understand and trust them or not, no matter how important they are in people's hearts, they treat people selflessly, honestly, and kindly. Even if they are beaten, insulted, brutally tortured, or even lose their lives, they never hate or complain. They only have one goal, which is for people to make a right judgment in front of good and evil, right and wrong. They tell people the truth of Falun Gong with perseverance. They let people know how to be good. They use their blood and lives to wash the dust away from people's hearts and wake up their consciences.

Three Practitioners from Neimenggu Province, Hebei Province, and Liaoning Province Died because of the Persecution of Falun Gong

    1. Ms. Wang Shuying was 51 years old. She was from the Manzhouli City, Neimenggu Province. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1996. In November 2000, police illegally searched her home and found some truth-clarification materials. They "illegally detained" her at a detention center for one year. Ms. Wang got sick because of long-term detention and persecution. In April 2001 and August 2002, she was sent to a brainwashing center and went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. The brainwashing center then force-fed her. Her husband was also detained for six months simply because his wife was a Falun Gong practitioner. Later on, police stopped by her home several times and harassed her. Ms. Wang Shuying died on January 22, 2006. Before she died, she repeatedly encouraged her families to firmly believe in Falun Gong.

    2. Ms. Wang Guanying was from Dingzhou City of Hebei Province. She used to have bronchitis, heart diseases, high blood pressure, insomnia, and many other illnesses. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1996. Soon after that, she became healthy, and she was able to work again. Her family was very happy about her improvements. On July 20, 1999, the CCP started the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Wang wrote a letter to appeal to higher authorities and clarify the truth to them. The Dingzhou police arrested her because of this. They illegally detained her for 50 days at the Dingzhou Detention Center in late September, 2000. Policeman Lu Shujun from the Criminal Branch beat her and forced her to sit on the tiger bench. He didn't let her sleep, and he would wake her up immediately the second she closed her eyes. She wasn't able to get any sleep for 50 days, which caused her high blood pressure to come back. Ms. Wang fainted away several times. She had bruises all over her face. Policewoman Lu was very vicious. She beat and cursed Wang and tried to force her to write the so-called "guarantee letter" to give up practicing Falun Gong. The police refused to let her family visit her. In order to get her out, her family catered to the police and invited them to dinners, spending over 30,000 yuan before she was released to get medical treatment.

After Ms. Wang was released, the police didn't allow her to go anywhere. Because they took away her identity card, she had to report to the police station every time she went out, even to visit her relatives and friends. She had to pay 10 yuan to pick up her identity card every time before she could go out. Otherwise, the police would arrest her. The police often came to her home to harass her. On the national holidays or any holidays, the police would search her home and threaten her. They didn't allow her to practice the Falun Gong exercises. They stopped by any time they liked, which made her very nervous. She couldn't go to sleep and she got anxious every time she heard a police car siren. She was even afraid of people knocking at her door. She had to take pills to sleep. The authorities continued to persecute her relentlessly. Ms. Wang suffered a lot both physically and mentally. She died from taking too many sleeping pills.

    3. Ms. Li Jing was 79 years old. A retired elementary school teacher, she had taught at the Huanren County Elementary School in Liaoning Province. She had many illnesses before she started to practice Falun Gong in 1998. After she became a Falun Gong practitioner, she became healthy. In April 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal to higher authorities to clarify the truth. The police detained her for a month. In 2003, they illegally arrested her when she was distributing truth-clarification materials in her area. She was detained for two weeks. Later on, the police repeatedly stopped by her home to harass her and threaten her. She suffered a lot both physically and mentally. She died on January 24, 2006.
