(Clearwisdom.net) Note: The following is a shortened version of a longer and more detailed article that appeared on the minghui.ca website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net).

Mr. Shu Shi, born on April 1, 1937, is a Falun Gong practitioner in Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia. On April 29, 2008, he was arrested on a train and is currently held in Yakeshi Detention Center. His wife does not have a job and their child is about to drop out of school due to financial difficulty. Clearwisdom.net has learned that Shu Shi is now on hunger strike to protest his detention.
