(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Zhang Tianzheng, 42 years old, was the Internal Affairs Director at Jiamusi Railway Station. He closely followed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to arrest Dafa practitioners. He used to stop and arrest Dafa practitioners at the railway station waiting room. Recently Zhang and other police officers arrested Jiamusi City Dafa practitioner Deng Linfeng.

One day in May 2008, Zhang Tianzheng told his colleagues that he had a stomachache and was sent to the hospital. Diagnosis showed a large area of hemorrhage in the heart blood vessel. Zhang was sent to Harbin and paid nearly 500,000 yuan in medical expenses. But the problem was not cured and Zhang died in late May.

Li Jilong is more than 50 years old. Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, he has closely followed Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Gong. On numerous occasions, he participated in the arrest and detention of many practitioners. One practitioner at his workplace was forced to stay away from home to avoid persecution. He also asked neighbors to keep an eye on and report practitioner's whereabouts to the police for a reward.

In 2008, Li Jilong was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He can no longer go to work, and is at home, with little time left to live.

Zhang Lin was former Police Department Director in Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, and Yang Minghui was former Associate Director. Together with Liu Dashan and Guo Shaolin (appointed as Beipiao City Police Department Director two years ago), they were all active in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. In April 2008, they were arrested one after another as part of a criminal investigation into an organized crime case.

It is reported that Yang Minghui is having a bad time in the detention center. He has attempted suicide several times. Because the case was still in process, he was forced to wear a metal helmet to protect his life. Liu Dashan was deprived of sleep, along with other tortures. Liu could no long bear it and developed a mental disorder.

Song Guoyu, about 50 years old, worked as the Guojiadian Middle School principal. Song lived in Songguang Village in Guojiadian Town. Since July 20, 1999, on several occasions he organized students and teachers to watch materials that defamed Falun Gong. He also organized campaigns collecting signatures against Falun Gong from students.

In 2004, there was a meeting organized by students' parents. Dafa practitioner Li Yong placed some truth-clarification materials on the bikes of other parents. Song reported him to the police. As a result, Li Yong was detained for half a month, and Li Yong's son was forced out of school.

Also in 2004, Song Guoyu attempted to force physical education teacher Song Qingxian and others to give up their practice of Falun Gong, but failed. Because of Song Guoyu, Song Qingxian and his son were detained for one month. Before they were released, Song Qingxian's wife was also detained and sent to a forced labor camp for a three-year detention. After Song Qingxian was released, he was suspended from teaching, and assigned a security position at the front desk in the school.

Song Guoyu has now received retribution. It was said to be protrusion of the lumbar discs. It has become more severe year after year. He was in lots of pain and could not even walk. Recently, Song Guoyu had surgery in Jinan City. Someone has to carry him up and down stairs since he could not walk himself. He is having a miserable life. This is the retribution for persecuting Dafa.

Chen Zhenru was a former employee at the Qianliang Farm, Hunan Province. Since 1999, he closely followed local 610 Office and National Security officials to persecute Dafa practitioners. As a result, he developed five severe illnesses. He was in so much pain that he committed suicide by taking a large amount of pesticide. He died in pain on May 31, 2008.

Chen Zhenru was a thief. He was sentenced three times--a total of 11 years--because of theft. In 1999, he was released for the third time, but still did not want to correct himself. Because his wife and daughter were Dafa practitioners, the CCP used Chen to monitor them and other practitioners in the area. He also closely followed the CCP to persecute Dafa. He used brutal methods to stop his wife and daughter from practicing including beatings, pouring water on them, burning them and destroying Dafa books. He also worked closely with the 610 Office and National Security officials. Because of Chen, many Dafa practitioners were persecuted. He also swore at Dafa practitioners and even burned Dafa practitioners' houses or their farm produce. None of these crimes were investigated by the police, due to Chen's "accomplishments" in persecuting Dafa practitioners.

Chen did not drink or smoke and he had been healthy all his life. However, since March 2008, Chen felt unwell. He went to see a doctor in April. Diagnosis showed he had lung cancer, late-stage blood flukes, hydropericardium, liver cancer and lymphoma. According to his family, Chen could no longer endure the pain and took large amounts of pesticide on May 30, 2008. He was sent to hospital and died on May 31, 2008.
