Canada: The Divine Land Marching Band Performs in St. Patrick's Day Parade in Chateauguay (Photos) By Minghui reporter Yingzi
(Clearwisdom.net) On March 30, the Divine Land Marching Band, consisting
of Falun Gong practitioners from Ottawa and Montreal, participated in the St.
Patrick's Day Parade in Chateauguay, Quebec. Falun Gong practitioners win the prize for the best band in
Ottawa The parade took off from the intersection of Principal Street and D' Youville
Boulevard at 1:00 p.m. It went along D' Anjou Boulevard and ended at Our Lady of
Perpetual Help church. Sixty-five groups participated in the parade. Tom Fisher, the president of Chateauguay and Valley Irish Heritage
Association Inc., highly praised the performances of the Divine Land Marching
Band. Ms. Zhu Ying, a member of the band, said it was the first time that the band
played the parade in Chateauguay. Mr. Fisher saw the performance of the band at
a parade in Montreal and was impressed, so he invited the band to perform in
this parade. Ms. Zhu said the band has performed at two parades in Ottawa and Montreal for
St. Patrick's Day this March. It won the "best band" prize in Ottawa.
