(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lu Renqing is from Dasiping Town, Xinbin County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. He is currently detained in the Tieling City Prison Hospital in Liaoning Province. The doctor said that he is on his deathbed with no hope of recovery. However, the prison authorities still refuse to release him.

In March 2002, officer Guo Jian from the Dasiping Town Police Department arrested him from his home. Mr. Lu then escaped and left home to avoid further persecution. However, he was later arrested by officers from the Fushun City First Police Department when he was clarifying the facts about the persecution to people. He was sentenced to 6 and a half years in prison. Mr. Lu was then detained in the Liaoyang City Prison, Dalian City Prison, and the Second Ward of the Tieling City Prison.

Mr. Lu Renqing went on hunger strikes to protest the illegal imprisonment. Due to long term brutal maltreatment in the prisons, he is extremely weak and has been vomiting blood.
