Denver: Local Music Director Watches the Chinese New Year Spectacular Twice (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 12, 2008, almost 5000 people saw two shows
of the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular in Denver. Anastasia Towar of
Leadville, the music director of radio station KSMT, came to watch the evening
show after taking in the afternoon version. A very attentive audience Anastasia Towar, the music director of KSMT Ms. Towar told the reporter that she thought the whole show was amazing and
the colorful costumes were incredibly beautiful. She said that the energy field
of the actors was very powerful and deeply touched the audience. Ms. Towar was especially impressed by the baritone solo, and two of her other
favorites were the drum dance and the Mongolian bowl dance. "Actuallym
every performance was awesome," she said. Ms. Towar said that, as a musical professional, she found the show's music to
be amazing. "There are not very many chances to hear traditional Chinese
music here. The Erhu solo was very beautiful." After the evening show, she
complimented the "beautiful colors and costumes."
