The Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui/Clearwisdom website formed the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG) on April 4, 2006. The coalition collects evidence of the persecution and leads pointing to the existence of mass-scale organ harvesting. The following is recent information that the coalition has obtained. It's our hope that once more people of justice hear this news, they will step forward and expose the labor camps, prisons and hospitals throughout China that have participated in the systematic persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, and help us end the persecution.

1. Investigation Lead: Guangdong Province Medical School Zhanjiang Affiliated Hospital Liver Transplant Center Performs Live Liver Transplant

At the Guangdong Province Medical School Zhanjiang Affiliated Hospital, the Liver Transplant Center is located on the 23^rd floor. On August 7, 2006, a liver transplant was performed. A nurse who talked to the patient’s relatives disclosed that it came from a live donor.

2. Investigation Lead: Sichuan University Western China Hospital Still Performs Liver Transplants

Li Yongzhong is from Jinqiao Township in Shuangliu County, Chengdu Province. His son, 30 years old, was hospitalized at the Sichuan University Western China Hospital on August 8, 2006. He was diagnosed to be in the terminal stage of cirrhosis. After only one week in the hospital, he was given a liver transplant on August 15, 2002.

3. Investigation Lead: Guangzhou Army District Wuhan General Hospital Performs Five to Six Kidney Transplants on a Nightly Basis

A friend of mine, after reading the news about organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners at Sujiatun Concentration Camp, said, "I didn’t expect that (the CCP) is as brutal and evil as that!"

Later she mentioned that she was hospitalized at Guangzhou Army District Wuhan General Hospital in late March 2003. She witnessed that there were five to six organ transplants performed at the hospital nightly. There was a young woman in her 30's talking to her husband, who had just come out of the operating room. Another patient asked, "How much did you pay for your husband’s kidney transplant?" She responded, "Over 60,000 yuan." She also shared that the donor of the kidney was a young person.

It is difficult to believe that so many transplant surgeries could be performed within a short time with legitimate sources.

4. Investigation Lead: A Retired Teacher Receives Kidney Transplant After a Short Waiting Period

Due to kidney failure, a retired teacher with the name of Li Ailun, who used to teach at No.1 Middle School at Xiaguan in Dali City of Yunnan Province, received recently a kidney transplant at a hospital, the location of which is being investigated. After discharge from the hospital, she returned home to Dali City to recuperate. It is suspected that the kidney was from a living Falun Gong practitioner.

We note that the 610 Office at Dali Township and Municipal Political and Judicial Committee staff paid great attention to this kidney transplant.
