Huang Shih-cho says ignoring Falun Gong's human rights is equivalent to ignoring their own human rights.

Chang Chi-hsi, Professor and President of the Falun Dafa Association, and Dr. Hu Naiwen talked about the CCP's organ-harvesting crimes in detail with slide shows. Presenting data analysis, they also showed the drastic increase of organ transplants since the brutal persecution of Falun Gong was launched in 1999. The number is much higher than the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) official number of executions of criminal. Dr. Hu said the annual total of 12,000 organ transplants with an average of 30 per day made people wonder where the organs were coming from.

Reverend Lo said that life is priceless. "We have learned how the CCP has violently destroyed Falun Gong practitioners who are simply in pursuit of religious freedom, and harvested their organs when they were still alive. Respect for life transcends race, religion, country and ideology. We feel their pain. Besides praying for them, we call on all Christians and people of all circles to pay close attention to the CCP's violation of human right and religious persecution, and collectively stop this atrocity of organ-harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners."

A person who had personally experienced persecution for religion and freedom of speech attended the prayer meeting. He said he had been imprisoned on the CCP's death row. All convicts awaiting execution knew what a blood test meant. A drug dealer once shouted, "My blood is poisonous. There is no use drawing my blood!" He stressed that nobody wanted to lose their organs, even after being executed.

Reverend Lo asked attendees to remember a quote from Martin Niemöller, which was engraved in a memorial:

"First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak up,
because I wasn't a communist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak up,
because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up,

because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,

and by that time there was no one

left to speak up for me."

Legislator Huang Shih-cho said, "Ignoring Falun Gong's human rights is equivalent to ignoring our own human rights. Safeguarding the human rights of Mainland Chinese is safeguarding the human rights of Taiwanese. If we don't step out to speak for Falun Gong practitioners today, we will face the same fate some day."

Ms. Liao said this news should be widely reported. Many said such appalling persecution should be stopped immediately. The reporter of the church newsletter said he would report this special program in its full length and expose the CCP's organ-harvesting crime.
