The Clearwisdom Editors would like to announce the publication of a new book, Hearts and Minds Uplifted--The Power of Falun Dafa.

In spite of intensive truth-clarification efforts by practitioners over the last seven years, many people in Western society still only think of Falun Gong as a form of exercise, or as a group that is being persecuted in China. Important components of the practice--for example, the emphasis placed on elevating one's xinxing, or character--have not been widely disseminated and are not very well understood by the general population. We believe that if more people can come to understand at a deeper level the many ways in which Falun Gong benefits both individuals and society, they will also become more supportive, and in the process benefit their own future as well.

The forty-eight articles chosen for Hearts and Minds Uplifted were carefully selected after reviewing hundreds of personal cultivation stories that have been published on Clearwisdom.net since 1999. There is great diversity among the authors, which in itself illustrates how Falun Gong has spread throughout the world and is benefiting people of all ages, all nationalities, and all walks of life. In the process of telling their stories, the practitioners also quite naturally convey many Fa principles in terms that non-practitioners can understand and accept.

Last year, Clearwisdom published Life and Hope Renewed--The Healing Power of Falun Dafa, which contained first hand accounts of how people's serious, life-threatening illnesses disappeared after practicing Falun Gong. Together, Life and Hope Renewed and Hearts and Minds Uplifted form an effective tool with which to clarify the truth in Western society, particularly to influential people in the media, government, and other non-governmental organizations.
