Central Maine Morning Sentinel, Maine: Chinese continue to harvest live organs

During the White House ceremony for Hu Jintao, head of the Chinese communist regime, Dr. Wenyi Wang shouted out, "President Bush, stop him from killing!" Why?

Two sources recently disclosed that Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience were used for live organ harvesting, then cremated in Sujiatun, in northeastern China. The Sujiatun camp, now "sanitized," was the tip of the iceberg.

A third source spoke out, and additional evidence came to light. Chinese Web sites advertise that organs can be obtained in mere days or weeks as compared to years in the United States. Some Web sites marketing to foreigners openly promote organs from living donors.

The evidence is compelling: China has a massive live organ pool and a rapidly growing business in organ transplants.

Dr. Wang, a medical doctor, has spent months collecting evidence of China's illicit procurement of human organs. She said, "As a physician, I once vowed to save lives. I cannot tolerate such inhumane crimes. I couldn't help but cry out." (See "A Cry to Awaken Our Conscience," http://theepochtimes.com)


California Congressman Dana Rohrabacher sent a letter to President Bush last week urging the president to "investigate charges of illegal organ harvesting and cremation in Chinese death camps." The letter was signed by 81 representatives from both parties: "We as Americans must not become complicit in these crimes by keeping silent. History will judge us if we choose to look the other way when faced with truly indescribable human suffering on this scale."
