Taiwan Central News Agency: Falun Gong Practitioners' Organs Harvested, The Straits Exchange Foundation Calls for Investigation

(Clearwisdom.net) Central News Agency reported on April 28, 2006: The Straits Exchange Foundation expressed today that several cases have been obtained recently accusing incidents of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremating their murdered bodies to destroy the evidence in CCP's Sujiatun Concentration Camp, and other concentration camps, forced labor camps and prisons. On April 25, we sent out a letter to the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) to request assistance in looking into related facilities of the CCP to punish the lawbreakers and safeguard the basic human rights.

The Straits Exchange Foundation expressed that freedom of religion is a universal value, the CCP's suppression of Falun Gong can only add people's hateful feeling towards the CCP regime. In Taiwan, the constitution guarantees the freedom of religion. Falun Gong is very active in Taiwan and the government has never interfered with it. This is the biggest difference between democratic freedom and totalitarian rule.

The Straits Exchange Foundation hoped the ARATS to investigate over the cases and safeguard the basic human rights and guarantee the freedom of religion.
