After the first two witnesses exposed the Sujiatun atrocities, another witness who identified himself as "a veteran military doctor in the General Logistics Department of the Shenyang Military Region" stepped forward to point out that the Sujiatun Concentration Camp indeed exists, organ harvesting and cremation of bodies is done routinely there, and some are even cremated while still alive. He stated that the Sujiatun hospital is only one of 36 similar concentration camps. Findings from the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong point to a similar situation.

The Hospital in Sujiatun is Only One of 36 Similar Concentration Camps in China

According to this witness from the military system, the hospital in Sujiatun District is only one of 36 similar concentration camps across China. At present, the majority of detained Falun Gong practitioners are in prisons, forced labor camps and detention centers. They are transferred elsewhere on a large scale only when needed.

This witness said that Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces imprison the largest number of Falun Gong practitioners. The concentration camp in Jiutai Area, Jilin Province is the 5th largest camp imprisoning Falun Gong practitioners in China. This camp alone detains over 14,000 Falun Gong practitioners.

The veteran military doctor indicated, "From the information I have access to, the largest concentration camp is in Jilin Province. The concentration camp code named 672-S imprisons over 120,000 people. A large number of Falun Gong practitioners, felons and prisoners of conscience from all over China are there, but I do not know its address."

There Were Indeed over 10,000 People Detained in the Underground Concentration Camp of the Sujiatun District Hospital Prior to 2005 and in Early 2005

The witness said, "In the underground concentration camp of the Sujiatun District Hospital, there were indeed over 10,000 people kept there in early 2005, but at the present time, the number of detainees there is maintained at 600-750. Many detainees have been transferred to other concentration camps."

He continued, "You can't find much evidence even if you enter Sujiatun District to investigate. It takes only one day to transfer 5,000 people in a closed freight train on a special route. I have witnessed a specially dispatched freight train transferring over 7,000 people in one trip from Tianjin to the
Jilin area. It ran at night, guarded by the army. Everyone on the train was handcuffed to specially designed handrails like a rotisserie chickens."

The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) Found that Many Cities Have Participated in the Crimes

After the Sujiatun atrocities were exposed, WOIPFG launched an urgent investigation across China. Results show that the crimes of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs have happened and are still happening in at least in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hunan, Shandong, Liaoning, and Guangdong.

The excerpts of several investigative telephone conversations are as below.

(An Undisclosed Hospital in Guangzhou City)

Caller: How long will I have to wait for a kidney?

Doctor: About a week after you check into the hospital.

Caller: But I have to have a fresh and healthy kidney, and I want one from a live donor. You are not going to give me a kidney from a dead person, are you?

Doctor: Of course we will give you a high-quality kidney!

Caller: Do you have one like the ones I hear about from Falun Gong people?

Doctor: What we have in our hospital are all this kind.

(An Undisclosed Medical College in Tianjin)

Caller: The doctor said the kidney is very good and came from someone who practices qigong. I asked what type of qigong, and he told me the man practices Falun Gong. I heard that those who practice Falun Gong are healthier.

Doctor: Of course. We also have kidneys from Falun Gong practitioners here. We harvest kidneys from people who are still breathing or have a heartbeat. So far we have had about a dozen such cases this year (2006)... Of course, the supplier's health is a very important factor. The supplier has to be young and healthy. Moreover, the time period where the warm blood supply to the kidney is cut off has to be reduced to a minimum or even to none. In this case, there was no lack of warm blood supply.

(An Undisclosed Hospital in Shandong Province)

Caller: I want a kidney from those who practice Falun Gong, one that's totally healthy.

Doctor: Well...We will definitely have a lot of suppliers like that in April. The number of those suppliers is gradually increasing.

Caller: Why are you going to have more in April?

Doctor: I cannot tell you that because this involves... Anyway, there is no need to go into that. I cannot go into that with you.

The Chinese Communist Party's Top Level Leadership Agreed to Deal With Class Enemies With Any Means

According to witness, the Chinese Communist Party has openly declared Falun Gong to be "class enemies", turning Falun Gong practitioners into the target of its most severe suppression. The witness said that according to the latest decisions, the Chinese Communist Party's Central Committee agreed to treat Falun Gong practitioners as "class enemies" and to handle them in any economically beneficial manner without having to report to higher authorities. In other words, Falun Gong practitioners, like many felons in China, are no longer regarded as human beings, but as raw materials for commercial products. They have become commodities.

According to the witness from the military system, according to "the country's regulations," the provincial government has the authority to establish "recycling organizations" to process felons under the supervision of the military region in the province. This practice was established by a legal document that the Chinese Communist Party's Central Military Committee established as early as 1962. This practice continues to this day. According the regulations in the document, death penalty prisoners and felons convicted of serious crimes may be processed according to the development needs of the state or of socialism. During the Great Cultural Revolution (1966-1976), the most extreme way to process these prisoners was to use their bodies for food. The second was to use them as slave labor for construction or line production work.

According to the witness, after a 1984 amendment, it became legal to harvest organs from felons. The police and judicial departments perform organ harvests on living prisoners before cremating their bodies. Sometimes, they injure the prisoners in a show execution before they perform organ harvests on the injured prisoners. They then cremate their bodies. Since 1992, such a practice has become public. Due to the development of many related businesses, human bodies, live or dead, have become profitable raw materials.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of March 27, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners and supporters held a rally in Lafayette Park near the White House and commemorated practitioners whose body organs were harvested and remains were cremated in the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Sujiatun Concentration Camp. People from Washington, New York, Boston, Houston, California, Australia and Denmark strongly urged the US Government to immediately investigate and help stop the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Seven US Falun Dafa Practitioner Associations urge US Government to investigate and help end the atrocities in Sujiatun

Practitioners at the rally with white flowers on front held photo posters showing practitioners tortured to death and banners worded "Falun Dafa is Great" and "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance" in English and Chinese. Passersby were shocked by the solemn scene and came to learn the facts. TV stations and radio stations, including Reuters covered the event.

A Virginian resident working as an immigration policy consultant for the US government said he had been to China many times and was worried about the human rights there. Upon hearing of the atrocities in Sujiatun, he said that the CCP's crimes are inconceivable. He said he would try his best to have US officials he contacts to know and help end the CCP's atrocities, to rescue those Falun Gong practitioners being imprisoned.

After accepting a handout on Sujiatun atrocities, a senior official in National Press Club invited Falun Gong practitioners to give a speech on the incident and the persecution of Falun Gong, to members of his organization.

Mr. Chen from Denmark said, "Upon seeing the photos showing brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, my heart is continuously shivering."

At the rally, US human rights lawyer Ye Ning kneeled down to commemorate towards the photo of practitioner Wang Bin who were tortured to death by the CCP (left photo) to express his respect to Falun Gong practitioners.

Mr. Zhihua Hu from New York called on all circles to pay attention to his missing brother, Hu Zhiming. The CCP illegally imprisoned practitioner Zhiming for four years in 2000. Police arrested him again in September 2005. His whereabouts are not known. Mr. Hu asked the CCP, "Where is my brother?"

Falun Gong practitioner and famous tenor Mr. Guimin Guan and his wife Xiaoqun Zou sang a song that he composed two years ago for those practitioners tortured to death, "Let me see you off one more journey." The song tells of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms. Liu, in her 60s, with tears in eye said, "The song reminds me of the fellow practitioners in the same practice site in Beijing who were tortured to death."

Ms. Mao said, "Falun Gong practitioners are persecuted so brutally. They are still saving the world's people. Seeing the world's people awakening, those practitioners tortured to death are gratified. Their blood was not shed in vain."

Practitioner Ms. Zhang, 76, continuously clarified the truth to the world's people during the last seven years, come rain or wind, cold or hot. She said, "Practitioners suffer these hardships. They are truly compassionate and save sentient beings. It is our biggest wish to have Chinese people know the facts and awaken."

Spokesperson Mr. Jeff Chen representing Washington DC Falun Gong Practitioners' Association, Eastern U.S. Buddha's Study Falun Dafa Association (New York), Falun Dafa Association of New England, Mid-US Falun Dafa Association, Western U.S. Falun Dafa Association, Southeast Falun Dafa Association (Atlanta), and Southern USA Falun Dafa Association (Houston) urged the US Government to investigate and help stop the Sujiatun atrocities.

Mr. Chen said, "The persecution against Falun Gong has lasted for seven years. CCP's policy towards practitioners has not changed, 'defaming their reputations, bankrupting them financially, and destroying them physically.' Under such a policy, the CCP can commit atrocities to persecute the practitioners."

Practitioner Jerald Pearman representing the seven Falun Dafa Practitioners' Associations to request meeting with President Bush and called on him to help stop the Sujiatun atrocities and the seven-year-long persecution against Falun Gong in China with all possible means.

Mr. D.J. McGuire (Virginia), Founder and Executive Director, China e-Lobby, and President of China Support Network, said, "Why do we gather here today? Why in the capital of what is arguably the most powerful nation on earth? Why in what many consider the epicenter of the democratic world?"

"We gather here because Sujiatun is not only an act of unspeakable evil, it is a warning to those in the democratic world of what this regime is trying to hide, and why it feels it must survive to hide it - at any cost. Let us heed this warning, and work together to ensure that it is the democratic world that prospers and the CCP that perishes."

Dr. Morton Sklar, Executive Director of the World Organization Against Torture/Human Rights, Law Professor, Human Rights Attorney, said that when genocide occurs, a death knell calls for everyone, and everyone can be a target of genocide.

Mr. Zhiyuan Wang, representing World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), announced that an international investigation committee on Sujiatun Concentration Camp had been established to thoroughly investigate all criminals and bring all criminals to justice.

The rally ended with a chorus "Falun Dafa is great." After the rally, practitioner representatives handed in to the White House several thousand signatures collected during the last few days.

More than ten practitioners have been on hunger strike for 72 hours in front of Capitol Hill in Canada, condemning the atrocities

(Clearwisdom.net) After the facts about the secret concentration camp at Sujiatun, and the mass killing of Falun Gong practitioners were disclosed, twelve practitioners from Toronto came to Capitol Hill in Ottawa for a 72 hour hunger strike from March 15-17. Six or seven of them are over 65 years old, and they are all volunteers. This is their story:

I personally experienced the Chinese Communist regime's evil persecution against practitioners. In December 2000, I went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and was put into a brainwashing class. Ever since, my family had no peace. Personnel from the local police station and 610 Office came to harass me at my home very often. In October 2002, they wanted to take me to a brainwashing class again, so I was forced to become homeless to avoid further persecution. The atrocities in Sujiatun are something that you can't keep silent about as long as you're conscientious. I really wanted to shout in the street when I first heard about it, to let all people know.

I started to feel tired on the third day of the hunger strike, and felt very hungry in the afternoon. I couldn't even move my legs when distributing materials, and started to feel nauseous at around 70 hours. At 72 hours, I did throw up a bit when I tried to eat something, but we did pretty well in the whole process.

We were supposed to be back on Friday (March 17). We were told that there would be a parade in Montreal on March 19. We planned to rest for a day on Saturday, but we ended up going to distribute Falun Gong informational materials on the March 18 in Chinatown of Ottawa, and distributing materials at Capitol Hill in the afternoon, and we also participated in the grand parade for Saint Patrick's Day at 9:00 a.m. on the 19^th in Montreal. Other practitioners and I held up a huge banner that read, "Falun Dafa is Great." It worked out well. People were shouting, clapping, and the responses were very good.

When I was in China, the police often called to harass and threaten me. Sometimes they called during the night threatening like the mafia. I also was under surveillance around the building. In 2001, one of my daughter's neighbors, a family of practitioners, had her home ransacked. People were taken away, the son disappeared and no one knows his whereabouts since then.

I really felt the Sujiatun incident was very serious. When thinking of my fellow practitioners getting killed, what should I be afraid of? I don't care about hunger either. A normal, healthy person was killed for his organs. What kind of behavior is this? On the second day of the three day hunger strike, I sweated for a moment, then I felt better after drinking some water and doing the sitting meditation.

I've been in Canada for nine years, and have been practicing Falun Gong for eight years. I cried once I got the message about Sujiatun. I have brothers and sisters in China who also practice Falun Gong. I know some fellow practitioners in China who are missing, too. Some of them might have been killed at Sujiatun. It's so cruel. The most brutal regime in the world could not be more evil than the Communists! I didn't even feel like eating. Many people wanted to participate in the hunger strike to protest, and I did too.

With the support of fellow practitioners, nothing can really prevent us from anything. I think I can do it. Many tourists and reporters came to ask questions. They all felt pain when seeing our posters. They all support us, and their kind and friendly support has deeply moved me.

I think I should explain the facts, and reveal the persecution against my fellow practitioners to everyone. It's been very cold in front of Capitol Hill. My legs hurt very much when doing the sitting meditation. In the cold weather, the full lotus position was really hard for me, but the older practitioners next to me kept up. They are great. It's so cold and they don't know how to speak English, but everyone worked together and did very well.

I have been in Canada for three years, and have been practicing Falun Gong for almost ten years. I'm from Tianjin, China, I was sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2001, but in fact they held me for one year.

I felt so bad when getting the message about Sujiatun, I thought that I should take action, try my best to rescue fellow practitioners and expose the evil, and let people and the media know. It's been so cold these past three days. In fact I didn't feel well on the second day. I felt headache and fever, but thinking of the people deceived by the propaganda from the Chinese Communist regime, I took the hardship as nothing. We mostly are older practitioners. We work together, and try our best to expose the facts.

Once I heard about the Sujiatun incident, I started to think about how our fellow practitioners have suffered so much persecution, and how the Chinese Communist Party is so brutal. We all felt that if all the countries didn't speak out and step up to stop them, we should take action to draw attention of the Canadian government and media to stop the atrocities. Based on this, I participated in the hunger strike.

We have all been in front of Capitol Hill during the three days of hunger strike. It's very cold, but compared to the hardship the practitioners in China have been through, I felt it's really not a big deal. There are many tourist groups from China that have seen our hunger strike and our Falun Gong truth clarification posters. They started with not believing and not listening, but after we explained the facts, they finally accepted our materials. There was even one Chinese person who listened and showed sympathy, and supported us. I helped him quit the Chinese Communist Party and I truly felt that people are waking up.

I didn't know about the hunger strike before I left for the event, and I wasn't prepared. I had never done this kind of thing. It's so hard to get out of Mainland China. I had a thought--if I can get out, I will do more Dafa related work. Therefore I decided to take part into the hunger strike for 72 hours. I didn't drink at all the first day. Then I distributed flyers the second day, then went to a parade on the fifth day. I passed out many flyers on the crowded street. I almost forgot to rejoin the team. Many people asked me for materials, wanting to know what happened. After all, I felt very happy that I could do these things to help people learn the facts.

I didn't really think about how hard the 72 hours of hunger strike would be. After coming to Canada, I realized that practitioners here have done a lot. I think if practitioners in China could know this, they would be encouraged to do better and to be even more steadfast.

I came to Canada from Beijing over four years ago. I started the practice in 1993. From a very sick person, I changed to a healthier and healthier person. The Chinese Communist regime started to suppress and persecute Falun Dafa, and as a practitioner, I have been unlawfully held and detained many times for telling the truth to the Chinese government out of compassion, and for persisting in my belief of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." In order to avoid harassment from the evil police, I even became homeless for six months. I was shocked when getting the message of the Sujiatun incident. I was enraged by the brutality and inhumanity of the Chinese Communist regime. In the meantime, I worried about the situation that practitioners had in China. I knew some practitioners who were tortured to death by the police when I was in China, and some others I lost contact with or their whereabouts became unknown. To protest the Chinese Communist regime's brutal killing of practitioners I went on hunger strike. Now, I call on the Canadian government to help stop the atrocities that the Chinese Communist regime is committing. I call on the international community and all people of conscience to lend their helping hands, track down the criminals at the Sujiatun death camp, and help to end the persecution of the peaceful practitioners in China that has been going on for over six years.

We were shocked by the Sujiatun incident, so we are calling on the Canadian government to support us. I felt uncomfortable during the three days of hunger strike. It was very cold, even the pen for signing the petition was frozen. I still did not feel over with it after the three days. But thinking of the suffering that practitioners in China have been through, we are using our bodies to call for righteousness and conscience.

I can feel that more people are awakening to be against the persecution nowadays. My husband told me "Please don't go to work these days, go to call for help. I will work for you, so you call for help for me, to fulfill one of my wishes." I can feel that voice emerging in the world. We did make it, I felt good.

I'm from Jilin City, Jilin Province, I started to practice in 1997, and I am a beneficiary of Falun Gong, so I can't keep silent about the brutality. I went on hunger strike because I would like to call on all people of conscience in Canada to lend their helping hands. Please don't keep silent any longer about the atrocities that have been going on for over six years.

I was shocked when I read the report about the atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners in Sujiatun that were posted on the Minghui.org website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) on March 11. I could hardly believe that it was true. I can hear a voice echoing around my ears: "help, help me!......" I could not keep silent any longer. I want to call on the Canadian government with this hunger strike, call on all the Canadian people of conscience to help stop the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong. I call on the Canadian media to focus on the concentration camp in Sujiatun, to expose it to the whole world! Since I am a younger member of the hunger strike group, I feel that I should take care of the older practitioners next to me, but they have done great! They can complete the 72 hours. I am touched.

There was a grand parade in Montreal right after the 72-hour hunger strike, and these older practitioners decided to go immediately. They didn't even take a rest on the next day after the hunger strike. Instead, they went to Chinatown and Capitol Hill to distribute materials, and they went to the parade the day after. They are in their 60s, and even 70s, and after three days of hunger strike, they didn't even rest. Isn't that a miracle that Falun Dafa created?

(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of Sunday, March 26, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Chudong Town, Hsinchu County, Taiwan protested the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities in Sujiatun Concentration Camp of harvesting body organs from living practitioners, trading organs, and cremating the practitioners' remains to destroy evidence. They also collected signatures to get people's support.

Beipu Town is a renowned tourist site and one of the sites mainland tourists visit often. Falun Gong practitioners transported truth-clarification posters and banners to Beipu and set up several sites for truth-clarification and signature collection.

Upon setting up the signature collection table, the sky became cloudy and a light rain started. The rain later became heavier. The practitioners did not wind up but kept righteous thoughts and continued the event. Visitors were shocked at the photos showing the brutal persecution against practitioners, and they slowed down to watch. The practitioners distributed handouts, explained the facts and asked for signatures to support the victims and condemn the CCP's brutality.

There were many moving moments during the event. One tourist had a handshake with a practitioner and said with emotion, "Thank you. Thank you very much!"

Some visitors praised the practitioners with a thumbs up, "You are great to do this!" One tourist did not want to sign in fear of the CCP. His colleague said, "Why are you afraid to sign?" Both of them signed. A father signed and called his whole family, "Come on, all of you sign!" Eight of them all signed on the cloth strip and left satisfied.

After reading the posters, several dozen people came forward to sign without listening to the practitioner's explanation. A lady with an umbrella in hand called loudly, "Help me to sign! Help me to sign one!" Some tourists rushed to the tour bus after picking up truth-clarifying literature. Before the bus started, they came back to sign!

Some asked the practitioners, "Do you accept donations?" After hearing that practitioners do not want money but call only for justice, the tourists signed and said they would tell more people. A lady from China signed and said with emotion, "The CCP is truly evil and can do any crime. My mom was imprisoned for three years for believing in Buddhism!" She condemned the CCP with her own experience.

The rain continued alternating from light to heavy. The practitioners did not move but continued to explain the facts to tourists. A young practitioner insisted on saving people himself though his father objected because of his young age. He stood in the rain and held a poster for several hours.

(Clearwisdom.net) On Sunday March 19, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Edinburgh held an event to expose and condemn the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) after the recent discovery of the appalling secret Sujiatun death camp, in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China.

A Chinese journalist working for a Japanese news agency disclosed his knowledge of this death camp to international newspaper The Epoch Times. He claimed that since 2001, the camp, attached to a hospital in Shenyang, has held up to 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners who refuse to denounce their beliefs. These people, whose basic human rights have been completely stripped away, are having their organs harvested, whilst still alive, and sold for medical transplants for huge prices. The practitioners' dead bodies are then incinerated on site to hide the evidence.

The journalist stated that he thought that up to 4,000 Falun Gong practitioners had been abused in this way. To add to the tragedy and horror, the practitioners' families are unaware of what has happened to their loved ones, as the practitioners have been taken there in secret and no one has been seen coming in or going out.

People stop to find out more about Falun Gong and the persecution against the practice in China

The Edinburgh practitioners gave out leaflets specifically about the Sujiatun death camp and spoke to many passersby. People stopped to read the information boards about Sujiatun. Many people also signed a petition to the UK government urging them to investigate these atrocities. A practitioner talked about the horrors of the death camp on a PA system.

Although the public has been shocked about the persecution in the past, the reaction from people to this latest incident was that they found the deeds committed in the camp truly abhorrent. This event coincided with 9 million people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). As the Chinese people continue finding out the true horrors the CCP has committed and that their futures are in jeopardy by being aligned with it, 20 to 30,000 per day are leaving the party.

(Clearwisdom.net) Since the Chinese Communist regime's secret concentration camp at Sujiatun came to light, and its barbaric action of harvesting living Falun Gong practitioners' organs was exposed, practitioners all over the world went to their local Chinese Consulates and Embassies to protest. On March 16, 2006, German practitioners gathered at the Chinese Consulate in Munich in bitterly cold weather and protested against the CCP's inhumane crimes.

A Falun Gong practitioner named Mr. Chen Gang, who lives in Munich, said that the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was exposed because around nine million Chinese people have publicly withdrawn from the CCP. The massive number of Chinese quitting the CCP had become an inspiration for other Chinese people to come forward. He said: "I believe in the future, there will be more and more people quitting the CCP and standing up against it, and there will be more people exposing the CCP's crimes against humanity."

The participants at the gathering came from various German cities, such as Ulm, Munich and Passau. A German practitioner from Passau took leave from work and came by train especially for the event. She said: "It upsets me to know that there are also concentration camps in China, not just in Hitler's era. The concentration camps in China are even worse because the practitioners there were tortured, their organs taken away and they died in a horrible state."

The passersby and people that visited the Chinese Consulate on that day had a chance to learn what's really going on in China. Despite the very cold weather, some people stayed and talked to practitioners for a long time. A man with a PhD in Politics even advised practitioners on how to get attention from the international community.

(Clearwisdom.net) Upon knowing that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) set up the Sujiatun concentration camp in Shenyang City, committing the vicious crime of extracting and secretly trading Falun Gong practitioners' organs to get the benefit and then cremating their corpses, on March 25, 2006 the Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland went to the city center to disclose this evil crime committed by the CCP. Moreover, they held a hunger strike to protest the CCP's persecution, which has lasted around seven years, against the peaceful Falun Gong practitioners who follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance."

Although it continued raining, the Falun Gong practitioners insisted on telling the truth and disclosing the evil in the rain. When the Irish people understood that the CCP had committed the Nazi-like brutal crimes, they felt indignant and signed to support Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful remonstrance in droves, and condemned this immense anti-human race crime committed by the CCP. Some people expressed that they would write letters to the MPs to appeal to them to be concerned and stop this Nazi-like concentration camp which cruelly persecutes Falun Gong practitioners in modern civilization society nowadays. An Irish citizen spontaneously passed out the materials after learning the truth, and helped the practitioners tell the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in Sujiatun concentration camp to the passersby until all truth materials were passed out.

The Irish Falun Gong practitioners said they would continue disclosing the incident of setting up the Sujiatun concentration camp to persecute Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP. They will not stop disclosing the CCP's evil commitments if the persecution against Falun Gong doesn't stop.

This Irish citizen who understood the truth spontaneously helped the practitioners pass out the truth materials to passersby and told them of the persecution in Sujiatun concentration camp against Falun Gong.

(Clearwisom.net) On Saturday, March 18, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners visited Sturovo, a small town in southern Slovakia, in order to raise public awareness about the cruel persecution of Falun Gong taking place in China. Practitioners held the event on the newly-paved Square of Freedom. They set up their banners so their message could be read from passing cars.

Many people stopped and one older man told the practitioners, "Yes, horrible. I was also persecuted before by the communist regime." A reporter from the local newspaper added her signature to the petition supporting Falun Gong and conducted an interview with one of the practitioners. She was interested in the history of Falun Gong, the reason for the persecution and the results of our efforts to let people know about what is happening in China. She showed interest in the Falun Gong exercises and took lots of informational materials.

Many people from neighboring Hungary, who had come to visit the local thermal spa, stopped by the practitioners' display. They were very happy that they were able to get information about Falun Gong in their own language.

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 27, 2006, practitioners from Malaysia submitted an appeal letter to Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, calling on the Malaysian government to help stop the atrocities that the Chinese Communist regime committed by removing organs from living practitioners' bodies in the secret concentration camp at Sujiatun. On the same day, practitioners also delivered letters to Health Department, Internal Affairs Department and Foreign Affairs Department, to expose the inhuman atrocities at Sujiatun to the administration center of Malaysian government.

Practitioners came to the Prime Minister's office to submit the appeal letter at 11:00 a.m. The second secretary of the Prime Minister, Tuan Haji Ahmad Yaakob met them, learned about the situation, and promised to pass the letter on to the Prime Minister.

In a speech, a Falun Dafa Association spokesman indicated that the chairman of the Political Consulting Committee of China, Jia Qinglin plans to visit Malaysia, and practitioners sincerely hope that the Malaysian government will urge the Chinese Communist regime to dismantle the Sujiatun concentration camp, and all similar camps.

Outside of the Prime Minister's Office Building, practitioners announced a 24 hour hunger strike beginning at 10:00 a.m. on March 29, to strongly condemn the Chinese Communist regime's inhuman atrocities at Sujiatun.

Practitioners also delivered letters to other governmental sections, seeking their attention to this issue.

This appeal drew attention from high levels of the Malaysian government. When practitioners went into the building to deliver the letter, many officials from the Prime Minister's Office Building, police authorities and reporters from the government accompanied the practitioners.

(Clearwisdom.net) People used the words "astonishing secret" to describe the secret Sujiatun Concentration Camp, where agents designated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and burn their bodies. It is astonishing to most people, because such crimes are unbelievable and unimaginable for most people.

When the American soldiers entered the Nazi concentration camps at the end of World War II, they were shocked, being faced with piles of dead bodies, which was completely unbelievable to them. But if they had known how the Nazis had been inciting people's hatred toward Jews and brainwashing people with the propaganda that Jewish peoples' lives were as low as ants, and had they known how the Nazis had driven Jews out of their homes and businesses and were killing them randomly, they would not have felt the horror and the violence in the concentration camps to be so unbelievable.

Similarly, perhaps the organ harvesting in Sujiatun was not a well-planned evil scheme from the very beginning, but was rather the "natural" but horrible consequence of the rampant and crazed actions of the dictators and participators of the persecution. The following points explain how such a terrible situation could come into being.

Because many Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested, the labor camps and prisons are too crowded. The CCP regime even released many criminals before their sentences were reached to make room for Falun Gong practitioners. When "illegally arresting" Falun Gong practitioners, policemen weren't required to follow the official and lawful processes in many cases. Many practitioners were arrested from home and even their families didn't know where they were jailed. Many Falun Gong practitioners have "disappeared." Since 2001, the CCP has started building special prisons to hold Falun Gong practitioners long-term. They claimed that practitioners would be imprisoned until they die. Just like the Nazis killing Jews, the places where a lot of "disappeared" Falun Gong practitioners are held creates the most basic condition for the murders reported to have taken place in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp.

Falun Gong has been construed as the number one enemy of Jiang Zemin's gang and the CCP. Jiang tried to eliminate Falun Gong within three months, but he underestimated the power of righteous faith. So the persecutors became rampant and have escalated the persecution. They gave the orders to the prisons and labor camps such as, "Beating Falun Gong practitioners to death can be done without taking responsibility," "The deaths of Falun Gong practitioners due to torture will be counted as suicide," "After beating Falun Gong practitioners to death, the prisons or the labor camps don't need to check their identities before cremation."

Actually, since the medical technology for organ transplants was developed in the 1970's, the CCP has developed a whole system of trading organs that involves hospitals and the local police units. The Chinese government also admitted in public that most of the organs for transplant are from the death row prisoners.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong was launched in 1999, hundreds of thousand of Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured in labor camps and prisons. In many incidences of persecution deaths of practitioners, family members found that organs were missing from the bodies of their loved ones. The prison doctors have also reminded the policemen not to beat practitioners' kidney area, because kidneys are useful.

This organ harvest is just the continuation of a system already in place, and it is just the extension of harvesting organs from death row prisoners to harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners. The labor camp guards and doctors of hospitals collaborate to harvest and sell the organs, and they all make large amounts of money from it.

As the "number one enemy" of the CCP, Falun Gong practitioners have no laws to protect them. So those who persecute Falun Gong are not constrained by law. Also, using all the negative propaganda and slander that the CCP has used to brainwash the public, including the staged "Tiananmen Self-immolation Incident" that was orchestrated by Luo Gan and his gang, the CCP has instigated people's hatred towards Falun Gong to the extreme. Falun Gong practitioners' image has been distorted, portraying them as murderers, or suffering from insanity, which has made the doctors who harvest organs from Falun Gong practitioners have no moral barriers.

Practitioners' lives have been treated as not valuable at all, and as if they can be ended randomly. This is an important starting point. The nightmare of the Jewish people started with the idea that "Jewish lives are not valuable."

There is a big organ market in China, where there are 1.5 million uremia patients. Based on the rate of kidney transplants of uremia patients in the developed countries, the demand for kidneys in China is fifty thousand every year. Moreover, there are lots of foreigners coming to China for organ transplants. China has become the "global center for organ transplants."

According to the Ministry of Health of China, from 1993 to 2005, there have been 59,540 kidney transplants, 6,125 liver transplants and 248 heart transplants in China. The numbers of the surgeries is increasing every year. Last year, there were 2,700 and 6,000 liver and kidney transplants, respectively. Counting bone marrow, cornea and other organ transplants, there were almost ten thousand organ transplants done in China in 2005.

The number of organ transplants is one of the criteria to evaluate the hospitals. So, the hospitals try to do as many organ transplants as possible. There are 368 hospitals in China that can do kidney transplants and more than 200 hospitals that can do liver transplants. Even some not well-equipped township clinics, which can only do some basic surgeries, try to do organ transplants. The number of hospitals doing organ transplants in China is much larger than that in the USA.

More important is that these organ transplants bring huge financial benefits. On their website, China International Transplantation Network Assistance Center gives a price list:

Some doctors who are not experts also do such surgeries for money. It was reported by the TV program, The Society, from Guangdong Province Cable TV, that a medical accident in kidney transplanting was caused by a doctor who is not a urologist.

The shortage of organs is the bottleneck of this business. The persecution of Falun Gong made thousands of Falun Gong practitioners available as the sources of these organs. This most brutal evil business of modern times started with the persecution.

Under the circumstances described above, the organ business, including the labor camps, prisons and hospitals, targeted the Falun Gong practitioners in the concentration camps. To make money, criminals will sell drugs or do other illegal things. Similarly, money also is the essential motivation for the organ harvest in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. The difference is that criminals feel guilty about drug dealing more or less, but killing Falun Gong practitioners perfectly matches the evil desire of the CCP and Jiang's gang - eliminating Falun Gong. So, a bloody criminal system that combines making huge benefits and secretly killing innocent people was formed.

Jiang's gang previously used all kinds of implication methods to force policemen nationwide to persecute Falun Gong, but with the huge financial benefit, the organ harvest in Sujiatun connects and runs all the systems involved in the persecution, and makes the "burden" become the "money maker." We can imagine that when Jiang and Luo Gan found the advantage of this method, they must have tried their best to promote this form of persecution and asked for the cooperation from all parties involved.

It is a big challenge of conscience for everyone involved in this organ harvesting system. But the self-paralysis of the conscience in each link of the chain of this system reduces the moral impact. For example, the prospective organ recipient is eager to extent his or her life, so he would not be willing to find out the source of the organ. To him, the most important thing is to keep his life. The surgeon also pretends that he doesn't know the source. To him, someone provides him with the organ, and the patient is lying on the table, so his job is just to do the surgery. To the doctors who harvest the organs, what lies in front of them are the Falun Gong practitioners who are about to die due to brutal torture. The doctors may imagine them to be "insane" people or believe them to be someone on death row. To the doctors, this person is about to die sooner or later, and there is no difference between killing one or killing many. To the policemen involved, money is the most important, and they will do anything for money. Think about it, policeman He Xuejian in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province raped a practitioner, a woman the same age as his mother, in front of another policeman. Gao Rongrong from Shenyang, had her beautiful face totally destroyed by policemen, and she was finally tortured to death. What kind of things cannot be done by those who are trained by Jiang's gang and have completely lost their conscience? Is there any conscience left in their minds?

Since the very beginning, Falun Gong practitioners have tried their best to expose the evil, brutal persecution taking place in China. But many people don't believe them and are not moved at all. It is their not-believing that has intensified the persecution and instigated the CCP to continue violating human rights, all the way to the illicit organ harvesting. Such an astonishing crime!

If people understand the process of the CCP's escalating the persecution, the organ harvest system between prisons, labor camps and hospitals, and understand the CCP's propaganda and slandering of Falun Gong, the evil desire of Jiang's gang and their followers' pursuit of money, then the Sujiatun Concentration Camp would not be so astonishing. People will also understand that it may be the natural consequence of all the evil crimes of the persecution and a foul system already in place.

During the persecution and organ harvest, the CCP and Jiang Zemin's gang are satisfied, the doctors and policemen are making a fortune, but people of justice and the heavens are incensed. Therefore the evil cannot be far away from its end now.

(Clearwisdom.net) In China, few people today would think that removing a death row prisoner's organs is immoral or illegal, even when the prisoner did not give consent. This is because the Chinese Communist regime has distorted the Chinese people's mindsets into thinking that the prisoners on death roll deserve to be executed and suffer extreme punishment. Only when they travel to democratic countries do they begin to realize it is wrong to think this way.

Former dictator Jiang Zemin also has this type of mindset. When asked by a reporter about a female university student who was raped by a farmer near the forced labor camp where she was detained, Jiang callously responded, "[She] deserved it; she was a rioter!" She had been detained because she participated in the student protests leading up to the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989. Jiang's predecessor, Deng Xiaoping, labeled the Tiananmen Square Massacre (known in China as the "June 4^th incident") as an anti-revolutionary riot, and therefore gave the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) justification to massacre the unarmed students. This is one of the most commonly used tactics by the evil CCP-- to falsely accuse the victims of a heinous crime and then use violence to suppress them. By using this method since it came into power, the CCP has instilled into people's minds that, "Violent treatment has its right reason. Death is the most suitable punishment."

The CCP tells the people to treat their enemies like a bitter, cold winter. For those that the CCP claims are its enemies, as well as those who refuse to yield under its reign, the CCP treats with cruelty. Whatever measures the CCP takes to accomplish this, it forces the people to agree that the measure is always "the most right and best" approach. This is the evil doctrine that the CCP forces on the Chinese people.

That is how the persecution of Falun Gong started. The CCP first labeled Falun Gong with slanderous names, and then began a nationwide persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. With the media being the mouthpiece of the CCP, China's media bombarded the world with poisonous propaganda about Falun Gong. Chinese people who do not know the truth about Falun Gong then treat Falun Gong practitioners like enemies. They think that the CCP's appalling brutality toward practitioners is still "right," even though practitioners are beaten to death, brainwashed, sent to detention centers and forced labor camps, tortured, drugged in mental hospitals, or have their organs removed while they are still alive and then their bodies cremated.

What is described above is just the tip of the iceberg. Human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng wrote three letters to Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabo, leaders of CCP, to expose the despicable persecution happening on Falun Gong practitioners. Yet there are crimes beyond people's imagination committed during the persecution that we have yet to hear about. The sins of the CCP shock people and the world. In the near future, all of the CCP's brutality will be exposed in front of the world. People around the world will be shocked even more by the CCP's sinister and obscene crimes.

The CCP even labels pro-democracy activists or supporters of Falun Gong as "Falun Gong practitioners," so that the CCP can suppress them too. In China, if you have a different voice from the current tune of CCP propaganda, you are said to be against the CCP and are considered anti-revolutionary. The end result for an anti-revolutionist in China is death without mercy. This is the CCP's logic. Chinese people living under the Chinese Communist regime have been brainwashed for decades and they have, more or less, accepted such logic. This is why people are indifferent and even assist the CCP in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

However, once the people are not under the CCP's evil control and manipulation, and disassociate from the party, they will not support the persecution and remain CCP pawns. Instead, they will become targets of persecution. This is the main reason why the CCP fears the Chinese people hearing about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. The CCP does everything in its power to stop the spread of the Nine Commentaries.

The Sujiatun Concentration Camp reveals the most sinister face of the CCP. It also sends a warning to the people around the world that any hope of the CCP changing its evil ways is only a dream. The CCP's addiction to blood and killing remains. The brutal campaigns of the CCP have put fear in Chinese people's minds, controlling their thoughts and actions, and forcing them to applaud the CCP's bloody violence. In the near future, the CCP's evil crimes will be exposed to the world.

Only by helping people break through the CCP delusion, widely spreading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and waking up Chinese people's hearts and consciences can we help the Chinese people to break away from the evil spirit of the CCP, help them become their true selves, and regain control of their own thoughts and actions.

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Wu Dianhui was from Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. After suffering brutal tortures for over six years, he passed away on February 11, 2006. In order to block the news, Changzhou City Public Security Bureau, together with the Shanghai City Police, illegally prohibited his classmates and friends from visiting his devastated wife, children and parents in Changzhou.

Mr. Wu Dianhui was thirty-four years old. He was originally from Ningyang County, in Shandong Province. He worked at the Changzhou Normal School (before it merged with Changzhou Engineering Institute in 2003). He and his wife both practiced Falun Dafa. After July 1999, when Jiang's regime publicly started the persecution of Falun Gong, the previous president of Changzhou normal school, Li Minmin, actively cooperated with the Communist regime to persecute Falun Gong. As a result, Wu Dianhui and his wife soon became targets of the evil persecution.

After suffering for over six years, the family has been rendered penniless. Wu Dianhui's wife, Zhang Wuying, his five and half-year-old son, and his parents, who do not have any income, are living a difficult life. Currently, the officials at Changzhou Engineering Institute are undecided about how to deal with Wu's torture death. Some officials even secretly prohibited Wu's colleagues from visiting his family.

In October 1999, Wu Dianhui, his wife and another colleague were arrested in Tiananmen Square. They were placed into a police van. The police pulled down the curtain and beat Wu Dianhui. After being transferred to Changzhou City Public Security Bureau, they were sent to a brainwashing class. There, the vicious perpetrators forced Wu Dianhui to stay in a squatting position without leaning on anything for three days straight. The family had to pay all of the expenses of the brainwashing class, but the food was terrible. Later, Wu Dianhui was assigned to cut trees, clean bathrooms, and pick up garbage, even though he was technically trained. His wife was assigned to copy and print (even during pregnancy and breast-feeding). In addition, Li Minmin violated Wu's contract, yet refused to report to human resources for Wu Dianhui. He also refused to pay a 100,000 yuan housing reimbursement, which was written into the agreement.

From early 2000, Li Minmin illegally deprived Wu Dianhui and his wife of their rights to work, causing them a huge loss of income. Various unfair treatments led Wu Dianhui and his wife to appeal to the Chinese Appeals Bureau. However, Wu was arrested by the Changzhou Public Security Bureau (his wife was not arrested because she was pregnant). Upon his release from the detention center, Wu Dianhui and his wife were forcibly taken to the Changzhou Liberation Army's 102 Mental Hospital. His wife was tied to the bed, injected with drugs and force-fed, even though she was over five months pregnant.

In early July 2000, Wu Dianhui was walking in a park with several Dafa books in hand. Because of this, he was detained by the Changzhou Public Security Bureau. He was not released until one month before the birth of his son. The Changzhou Public Security Bureau threatened them and forced their landlord to discontinue renting an apartment to them. Li Minmin ordered security to strictly monitor Wu Dianhui and his wife around the clock. Even when his wife was in labor, they still monitored the family all the way to the hospital. Two incidents occurred when their baby was only six-months old. They were on their way from Shandong to Changzhou when they were stopped by police from Changzhou City and Shandong Province. The police took both parents and the baby to the police van. This incident took place when the baby was six months old. The baby's head and legs were injured by a car door.

On May 1, 2001, Wu Dianhui was on his way back from visiting his classmates in Shanghai. For no reason he was arrested by Li Minmin and staff from the Cuizhu Security Office and taken to the "strictly-monitored team" of Fangqiang Farm in Dafeng City, Jiangsu Province. He was detained and tortured there for two years. During the detention, the police shocked him with electric batons, which burned his skin. He was forced to do intensive labor during the day and was deprived of sleep at night. Very frequently he was put into solitary confinement, handcuffed, chained, and beaten by other inmates (instigated by guards), causing tremendous physical and mental damage. On New Year's Day in 2003, several days after he was released from the detention center, he felt discomfort. After three years of suffering, he passed away on February 11, 2006. He was very strong before July 20, 1999. He participated in a marathon sponsored by the Shanghai travel festival organization committee, and finished twenty-first. He volunteered to be included in the Chinese marrow donation database.

At present, the Changzhou 610 Office is still torturing Dafa practitioners using collaborators. Besides Wu Dianhui, practitioners in the Changzhou area who were tortured to death include Zhou Fengling, Wang Yuqin and Liao Qinying.

(Clearwisdom.net) He was the oldest son in the family. He lost sight in both eyes due to a bear attack in the 1970s. He lived through the 80s in isolation and loneliness due to his disability, slowly overcoming deep sadness and desperation. Only he knows how much suffering he had to endure. In the 90s he wanted to learn some skills so people would no longer look down on him. He started learning qigong and hoped one day to make money by treating illnesses.

His brothers and sisters tried their best to help him. They found him many qigong books. One day his brother brought home a copy of Zhuan Falun. His brother read it to him and he at once knew that it was a wonderful practice because the book answered all of his questions about life. His mind was purified and he realized Falun Gong was better than any of the qigong exercises he had learned before, because it is the truth. His brother went to learn the Falun Gong exercises and taught them to him. He started smiling again after learning Falun Gong.

The man's name is Wu Wenfeng, and he once lived in Yichun, Heilongjiang Province. He later moved to Shanhaiguan, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. His brother is Wu Wenzhang. His sister, Wu Wenjin, seeing the tremendous changes in her two brothers, also started practicing Falun Gong.

After the Chinese Communist Party launched its fanatic persecution against Falun Gong in 1999, the three siblings suffered six years of unimaginable persecution.

Blind Wu Wenfeng was illegally detained in the No. 2 Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City in 2003. He was later sent back to Yichun and detained in a Nursing Home where he was forbidden to contact others or listen to the Falun Gong teachings. He held a hunger strike for more than 20 days and was released only when on the verge of death. Wu left home to avoid further persecution. Around 8:00 p.m. on March 7, 2006, Lu Ping from Qinhuangdao National Security Division ordered his arrest. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Wu Wenzhang, went to Beijing in 2001 to say, "Falun Dafa is good." The police arrested him, and sent him to a police station under the jurisdiction of the Daxing Police Department. He was savagely tortured and then sent back to his hometown, where he was detained for fifteen days. In June 2003, agitators from the Shanhaiguan Police Department rampantly arrested Dafa practitioners. Wu Wenzhang left home to avoid further persecution. On April 30, 2004, Fu Yong and others from Shanhaiguan Police Department found him and illegally arrested him. He was unlawfully sentenced to three-and one-half years in May 2004. Communist regime agents at the Jidong Prison have persecuted him ever since. Before the 2006 Chinese New Year, Mr. Wu showed symptoms of severe illnesses and he could not eat. The prison authorities firmly refused to release him.

Wu Wenjin quickly recovered from low blood pressure, stomach disease and nephritis after she started practicing Falun Gong in 1999. She was once held at the No. 2 Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City. She later returned to Yichun but the local police constantly harassed her. In late March 2004, persecutors from the district 610 Office and from the Xinjieji Police Station harassed her several times at home. She was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. On March 7, 2006, she was arrested along with her brother Wu Wenfeng. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

(Clearwisdom.net) Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the Party secretary and the director in charge of the Education Council of Jiangbei District, Chongqing have been playing notorious roles in carrying out the secret order of Jiang Zemin to "defame, financially crush, and physically eliminate" Falun Gong practitioners. Education Council secretary Kong Fanming and director Tang Jianzhong fully cooperated with the 610 Office to brutally persecute teachers who refuse to renounce Falun Dafa in middle and elementary schools in the entire district.

The authorities confiscated books, exercise tapes, and lecture audiotapes from Falun Gong practitioners and handed them in to the Education Council. They also banned Fa study and exercise sites. Suring sensitive dates, they required Falun Gong practitioners to report their whereabouts three times a day. They also forced practitioners who refused to give up their practice to change jobs, sent them to detention centers and forced labor camps, and even fired them from their jobs.

The staff in charge of the Education Council often strains every nerve to emphasize that as long as there are practitioners who appeal to the higher authorities for help in Beijing, their work unit will not be selected for excellence awards or model school awards, and their Party secretaries and principals may also be punished. Threatened by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) culture, CCP secretaries and principals of those schools joined hands in the persecution.

Party secretaries and the principals of the schools use every opportunity to distort and fabricate news to defame Falun Gong. This includes internal activities of the evil Party, meetings of labor unions, so-called "democratic" life, and political studies. They also showcase pictures defaming Falun Gong and collect signatures against Falun Gong from students in their schools. Falun Dafa practitioners who come out to validate the Fa are forcibly and unlawfully sent to brainwashing classes, detention centers, and forced labor camps.

Party secretaries and the principals of the schools terminate the wages and cancel all benefits of Dafa practitioners who are sent to forced labor camps. They lower the positions and cut the salaries of other practitioners who persist in their practice. For example, school administrators fired Ms. Xiang Zhongyao, a Dafa practitioner in the 124th Middle School. The cost of the brainwashing classes is extremely high, costing as much as a luxurious hotel. For example, Mr. Chen Chang, a Dafa practitioner in the 18^th Middle School, was forced to undergo brainwashing for four months, which cost him 18,000 yuan. They even charged practitioners several thousand yuan per person (including the practitioner and police offers) for bringing them back from Beijing after appealing to the higher authorities for help.

The Education Council forces each school to make plans, take action, accelerate conversions, and report the detailed rules of implementation. In order to monitor Dafa practitioners at all times and for all affairs, the schools treat Dafa practitioners as formidable enemies each year during the People's Congress Conference, People's Political Consultative Conference, New Year, Spring Festival, Labor Day, and National Day, as well as the AAAP meeting and the 2005 Asia Pacific Cities Summit meeting held in Chongqing. Many measures have been taken, including secretly following, arresting, and detaining, which cause both terror and turmoil to Dafa practitioners.

There are two types of surveillance by practitioners' workplaces: single-surveillance and multiple-surveillance. Single-surveillance means that a workplace sends one person for each Dafa practitioner and he or she follows the practitioner wherever the practitioner goes, which allows no freedom for the practitioner at all. Some agents eat and live in the homes of Dafa practitioners and watch TV continuously. Furthermore, all the expenses incurred have to be paid by the practitioners. Multiple-surveillance, in addition to single-surveillance, employs a full-time security guard. Workplaces also assign activists of the evil Party and Communist Youth League to make detailed records of the activities of Dafa practitioners with exact times they leave their homes and offices. This is carried out around the clock and is reported three times a day to the Education Council.

1) Ms. Mu Cailian, a Dafa practitioner of the Teacher Training School, has long been illegally monitored and restricted.

2) Ms. Huang Enhui and Mr. Tang Guorong, Dafa practitioners from the middle school of the General Appliance Factory, were illegally sentenced to a labor camp.

3) Mr. Chen Changjun, a Dafa practitioner at the 18^th Middle School, has been forced to undergo brainwashing and sent to a forced labor camp twice. He is currently still being detained and persecuted at the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp (Clearwisdom.net has a series of reports about it). Ms. Wang Subi, a Dafa practitioner from the same school, was sent to a labor camp once.

4) Ms. Xiang Zhongyao, a Dafa practitioner from the 124^th Middle School, has been sent to a forced labor camp twice and has been fired from her job.

5) Ms. Ren Xiaoling, a Dafa practitioner at the Huaxin Vocational High School, was sent to a forced labor camp. Now, she is detained at the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labor Camp.

6) Ms. Yan Guangbi, a Dafa practitioner from Mitingzi Elementary School, has been sent to a detention center several times, and has been forced to undergo brainwashing three times. She has also been forced to stay away from her home for more than a year to avoid persecution.

7) Ms. Chen Jicui, a Dafa practitioner of Liyuchi Elementary School, had her house searched and many possessions confiscated. She has also been secretly monitored and stripped of the title "Elite Teacher."

8) Mr. Wen Bin, a Dafa practitioner from Sifangjing Elementary School, was sent to a detention center once.

9) Mr. Zhang Yongli, a Dafa practitioner at Guojiatuo Elementary School, was sent to a forced labor camp once, and was forced to undergo brainwashing twice.

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Weijun of Nenjiang County, Heilongjiang Province, was illegally arrested and detained during the past six years. She has suffered excruciating pain dozens of times, and was released only after her life was in danger. In the Shuanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Qiqihar City, she was attacked and beaten with electric batons by team leader Wang Yan, and was hung up, forced fed, and placed in solitary confinement in a "small cell." In the Women's Prison in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, she suffered many physical injuries and mental abuse. They tortured her with the "Big hang up," (1) being forced to sit still for long periods, hands cuffed behind the back, solitary confinement, and force-feeding through a nasal tube. They pulled the feeding tube back and forth after it had been inserted, then left the tube inside her stomach for a long time until the tube grew green fuzz. This happen repeatedly. She was diagnosed with late stage uterine cancer. The cancer had spread and she was given three months to live. She was not bailed out until August 2005, but was arrested again on October 17. Currently she is still being persecuted in the Heilongjiang Women's Prison in Harbin City.

Because Falun Gong practitioners have no place to file a lawsuit, and cannot get any response by legal appeal in mainland China, Dafa Disciple Chen Weijun is entrusting overseas Dafa disciples to appeal to the International Human Rights Organizations and Courts. Her appeal is as follows.

I am Falun Dafa disciple Chen Weijun in China. Because I practice Falun Dafa, cultivating myself and pursuing compassion, and have been clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa, I was illegally detained and sentenced to eleven years in prison. During the past few years, I was subjected to all kinds of inhuman tortures. My human rights have been violated and my health has deteriorated. I am currently still being detained in prison.

In 2000, I went to Beijing to appeal to the higher authorities for help, and was arrested. On April 5, 2000, Dafa practitioners Ma Liming, Li Lin, Ma Fengying, Jia Zhonghua and I were illegally sentenced to forced labor camp for one year. We suffered all kinds of inhuman tortures at the Shuanghe Forced Labor Camp in Qiqihar City.

Wang Yan, the leader of the fifth team, attacked us and beat my lower back with electric batons. Fu Ying, Wang Hongzhou, Zhang Zhaohong, He Aizhen, myself, and five others were confined in a solitary compartment, being forced to squat all day, and were called outside for interrogation, during which we were forced to answer whether we would continue practicing or not. If we said yes, they beat us severely. After that we would be forced to continue squatting. We had to relieve ourselves inside the compartment. They offered very little water for washing, and required us to use the same water to clean the floor. Once upon a time, after team leader Wang Yan slapped my ears many times, he forced Fu Ying, He Aizhen and me to squat. One day, just after I was taken out and beaten, Wang Yan called me to his office again and Wang Yan and Zhao together beat me with punches and kicks. They then tied me to the bed pillar with ropes in a squatting position, not allowing me stand or sit. My lower back was kicked until it became swollen and my legs turned black and blue from being kicked. I squatted there, and suffered agony beyond words, even more painful than being in labor and giving birth.

In order to protest the inhuman torture, we went on a hunger strike. The persecutors pried our mouths open with chopsticks, spoons, screwdrivers, and other hard objects. Wang Guofang's teeth were broken off. They cut off the bottoms of the plastic bottles, force-feeding us rice cakes soaked in vegetable broth. Once, a rice cake fell into the commode used by the police. They picked it up and continued to use it for the forced feeding. When force-feeding He Aizhen, they prepared five liters of water. They force-fed her while beating her until a practitioner who is a doctor found the team leader Wang Xiaojuan and told her that force-feeding like this would put her life in danger. Persecutors I encountered during this period included team leader Wang Yan, Wang Xiaojuan, superintendent with a surname Hong, another with a surname Bai, criminals Li Xiaoyang, He Jie, Zhang Jing, Zhao Jing, and others.

On May 24, Fu Ying, Kong Xiangli, Xu Jiayu, Zhang Hongxia and I were confined in a solitary compartment. We went on a hunger strike. He Jie force-fed me. Many water blisters developed in my mouth due to the impact of chopsticks and spoons on my mouth during the forced feeding, and my lips split badly. One day the criminals He Jie, Zhao Jing and some others stuffed a dishcloth into my mouth and tied me onto the central heating plate, ordering others to collect the waste when I had a bowel movement. After three or four hours, I was shocked with electric batons twice. Policemen participating in this persecution included one with the surname Liu and another Li.

In July, Wang Liyan, Xu Jinfeng, Fu Hui, Wang Yanjie, Wang Guofang and I were tied up and our mouths were sealed shut with plaster adhesive. We went on a hunger strike. Zhang Jing used a spoon to stab at my mouth. My gums were stabbed, causing two big holes, and blood went everywhere. The scar still exists today. One day, team leader Wang Mei called me to her office, and added three months to my term of imprisonment. I was confined in a solitary compartment and fell to the ground in complete darkness. After one week, I was taken to another compartment, which was a little bigger. In August, the compartment was full of newly detained Dafa practitioners. It was too hot to breathe in the compartment. The windows were broken so all kinds of moths and insects flew around, noisily hitting the lamp and wall. When awakening in the morning, dead mosquitoes and winged insects covered our heads.

In December, not long after I went back to the big group, I was confined in a solitary compartment again. My wrists were handcuffed behind my back and I was forced to sit on the ground all night. Later, the persecution was intensified. We were cuffed in a half squatting position on tiptoes with one hand on the bed and the other below the bed. Shen Zili and Fu Zhenying were also persecuted. People participating in this persecution included team leader Wang Mei and criminal He Jie. In early October, my imprisonment term was prolonged for three months. On October 11, I was forced to undergo brainwashing by the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Center, which was psychological torture.

In late July 2001, the Nenjiang Police Station cooperated with the Harbin Police Station to illegally arrest Cai Mi, He Miao, Deng Weiguo and me one after another. We were detained in the Harbin Guxiang Detention Center for about forty days. I had to go on hunger strike twice. The first time was for three days. I was together with Yang Yuping, a fellow practitioner from Harbin, but we were separated after a few days. I went on a hunger strike for five days by myself. The leather tube used to force-feed me was as thick as a pinky finger. The criminals pried my teeth open with pinchers and pliers, breaking my teeth. They fed me with corn paste mixed with salt. Seven or eight criminals held me down and beat me. They inserted the tube repeatedly, and I vomited uncontrollably. The corn paste I vomited had turned red from my blood. They tortured me two or three hours each time. Every time it was just like passing through the gate of hell. According to criminal Yang Lu, they only ceased when my blood pressure and pulse disappeared. Deng Weiguo was persecuted to death. He Miao was sent to Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. The persecutors were policemen with surnames Ma and Liu from Nenjiang Police Station and Harbin Police Station, superintendent Wang of Guxiang Detention Center, and criminals Li Wan and Yang Lu.

In November 2001, Liu Efang, Wang Yanbo, Lei Shuzhen, Ma Lili, one with a surname Guan, my husband (who is not a practitioner), and I were arrested by Nenjiang Police Station. It was about seven o'clock at night. For the beginning half of the night, the policemen did not allow us to use the toilet. For the last half of the night, they tortured us. Our hands were twisted inversely and cuffed behind our backs, causing excruciating pain. They even inserted hard objects between the hands and back to make it more painful. They interrogated us and beat us with brooms and hard brushes. I was firm in not selling out my fellow practitioners, so they beat me fiercely. Persecutors that did this were Yang Xiaoming, Zuo He, Wang Qingzao and others. On the afternoon of the next day, they sent us to the Jiusan Farming Department in Helongjiang Province and detained us there for one month. We went on hunger strike twice. They did not release us until some fellow practitioners' lives were in danger. One practitioner with a surname Guan and my husband did not go on a hunger strike and were not released. The persecutors were Feng Yong, Wang Qingjun, Zuohe, and others.

I was sentenced to prison for eleven years, and my husband seven years. Wang Yanbo, Lei Shuzhen, Dong Limin, Wang Tao, Dong Quangang, and Liu Efang were also persecuted and sentenced. I went on a hunger strike for fifty-three days altogether. Wang Tao, Dong Quangang, Liu Efang, and I went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal persecution. We were forced to sit in the iron chair and force-fed three times. During the forced feedings, our hands were cuffed on the iron chair behind our backs. We were persecuted from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Our bodies were weak from the hunger strike, plus sitting on the iron chair caused us to suffer all kinds of injuries. They put a basin in front my chest to collect the nasal mucus. I could not bend my back and suffered indescribable pain. Persecutors included department director Ma Yong, superintendent Zhang, and policemen with surnames Ju, Wang and Li.

On July 29, 2002, I was arrested and sent to Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison, and was transferred to the seventh prison district from the concentration team. One day during the Mid-Autumn holiday, because we could not bear the physical and mental abuse, a fellow practitioner named Wen Jie and I ran out of the prison gate. We were caught and confined in a solitary compartment. Deputy leader Xiao Lin came to the compartment to beat me, and created a huge bump on my forehead. I lay in bed several days due to dizziness. Even in my weakened state, they would not cuff my hands in the front instead of behind my back. The compartment policeman instructed the prison leader to carry out the same harm. Witnesses: Wang Shuxia, Feng Haibo.

The new prison leaders Wang Xing and Chu Shuhua intensified the persecution of Dafa practitioners. Chu Shuhua cancelled the three meals a day and only allowed corn paste to be provided for meals. Dafa practitioners Yang Xiuhua, Dong Lingui, Liu Yongjuan, Bi Yunping, Wang Shuwen and I went on hunger strike to protest. A group of male policemen force-fed us, pulling our hair severely, while our hands were cuffed behind our backs on the iron bars of the compartment. One person held a flashlight to my mouth. Dean Zhao Yingling directed this person. Criminal Shang Xiaomei used iron tools to pry my mouth open. I could not speak and felt weak all over my body. A policeman grabbed my hair and lifted me. Dean Zhao asked, "Nod if you want to eat, shake your head if not." I struggled and shook my head. He said fiercely, "Insert." Shang Xiaomei pulled the tube up and down. I blacked out. The policeman pulled me up, and the intense pain made me regain consciousness. Dean Zhao asked again, "Do you eat or not? Nod if you will, or shake your head if not." I shook my head again. This torture repeated several times, and the corn paste I vomited was even saltier than vegetable broth.

The next day Ms. Wang Shuxia began to vomit blood, and her heartbeat was abnormal. They continued to cuff our hands behind our backs day and night. The fourth day, Wang Shuxia was at her last breath after being tortured with forced-feeding. The compartment policeman did not allow her to lie down, saying that it was dangerous to her life if she lay down. Wang Shuxia and I were cuffed to one ground ring together. She leaned on my back and one day seemed like a year to her. An object that was inserted into her mouth to keep it open was left in after the forced feeding. Fellow practitioner Feng Haibo wiped our nasal mucus when he saw that our hands were cuffed behind our backs. Liu Yongjuan's mouth was kept open by a special tool for two hours, causing her to lose feeling in the mouth, and her mouth became deformed. The fellow practitioner next door was banging against the wall. On the tenth day, after a near escape, Wang Shuxia protested and was given steamed bread. I was tortured to the eleventh day, and all of us were so weak we could barely function.

Bi Yunping suffered a mental collapse and cried uncontrollably. The policemen and criminals taped her mouth shut. She was merely skin and bones. Her mouth was kept open by a special mouth-opening tool and a tube was inserted into her stomach. Her head was wrapped with adhesive tape and her hands were cuffed. Policemen still carried her to the iron chair for torture. I didn't see Bi Yunping again after that. Zhao Yingling once threatened practitioners by saying, "What about Bi Yunping? Didn't she die?" Doctors regard healing the wounded and rescuing the dying as their own god-given responsibility. But Zhao Yingling betrayed the conscience of a doctor, persecuting Dafa practitioners with medical methods, and is still at large. Persecutors included prison leader Wang Xing, deputy prison leader Chu Shuhua, section leader Yang Libin, team leader Wang Xiaoli, Lv Jinghua, Zhang Xiuli, policemen Tao Dandan, Yu Yongcheng, dean Zhao Yingling, criminal Shang Xiaomei, and others.

In October 2003, Xiao Lin and district leader of the seventh prison district Kang Yazhen, Cui Yan, pulled Dafa practitioner Guan Fenglan, who was wearing thin pants, Wang Shuxia and many others outside to freeze in the chilly wind for an entire day. Later, Xu Xiaowei and I, along with many others were frozen outside.

In November, Miu Xiaolu, Li Dongxue, Zheng Jinbo, Zheng Hongli, Chen Yunxia and many others were cuffed in the water room for twenty four hours, and not allowed to sleep or mop the floor after washing. After several days, water could be squeezed out of the practitioners' cotton clothes. Miu Xiaolu's feet were swollen severely, and she occasionally passed out. After one month, I noticed blood in my stool.

In December, Wang Shuxia and I, along with some other practitioners, went on hunger strike due to inhuman torture and venomous language of criminals. After one week, due to a medical accident, Wang Shuxia went into shock and was sent to the No. 2 Hospital of Harbin Medical University to recuperate for one night. We were released after that.

In March 2004, because our Dafa materials were taken away, Wang Fang and I went on a hunger strike. They inserted tubes into our stomachs all day long, changing it once a week. The leather tube painfully stabbed into my stomach and it was swollen, and my nasal cavity was swollen too. On the seventh day, when criminals were washing the tube, they remarked that it had grown green hair. Our chests were in severe pain, and we coughed. Wang Fang suffered a lung infection and was getting thinner each day. The leaders of the seventh district cuffed her hands behind her back on the iron chair of a bunk bed for nearly an entire day. Wang Fang's health deteriorated daily after that, and she was released only when she was dying. She died two months later. Persecutors included team leader Kang Yazhen, Cui Yan, policemen Wu Xuesong, criminals Yang Shuhua, Shang Xiaomei and so on.

On July 9, I was transferred from the seventh prison district to the first prison district. The next day, the prison district leader Cui Hongmei directed guards to execute the "Big hang-up" on me while playing poker with the criminals. After this torture, the skin on my wrists was broken. The fellow practitioner Wang Shuxia witnessed me being tortured. Persecutors: District leader Cui Hongmei, policeman Zhou Ying, criminals Tan Hongwei, Wang Botao, Han Jianyingm, Bai Xiaoli, Guan Hongying and so on.

On December 29, Zhang Linwen, Guan Shuling, Liu Xuewei, Zhang Xiaobo, Zhang Liping, Zhang Jing and I were tortured with the "Big hang-up." The handcuffs were embedded in our wrists. My hands and arms turned black and blue, and my hands were swollen like steamed buns. I was in very bad shape when I was released, and had to be carried by others. Persecutors included district leader Cui Hongmei, deputy district leader Xia Fengying, policemen Yu Li, Lv Cuijun, Hu Heng, Lu Min, Le Xufeng, etc., criminals Han Dianying, Zhang Xiuyuan, Li Yanjing, Man Yunyue, Sheng Gongmei, Wen Cui, Sun Xiuyun and others.

On March 18, 2005, some criminals made mischief and disturbance, so I was confined in the dark solitary compartment for three months. Because I refused to wear the prison uniform, criminal Xia Junli kneeled on my stomach with her knees. I was menstruating at the time, and this caused the bleeding to continue beyond the normal number of days. Being confined in the solitary compartment for a long time damaged my health severely. I was watched over by two criminals after I came out of the compartment.

After long-term mental and physical torture I was bleeding continuously again. I fainted and was sent to the hospital. I was diagnosed with late stage uterine cancer and it had already begun to spread. They told me that surgery was futile and I could not live longer than three months. The prison only provided 17,000 yuan for the medical expenses, and forced me to pay the rest. Moreover, I had to pay the two policemen, who were there around the clock, twelve yuan each day. After about forty days, I had no money left. The hospital drove me out, so the prison allowed me to be bailed out and go home.

After I went home, I studied the Fa and did the exercises, and my body began to heal. After two months a miracle occurred. My health recovered. On October 17, I clarified the truth to taxi driver and gave him a flyer. He reported me and I was illegally arrested by the Nenjiang Police Station again, and I am now detained in the Harbin Women's Prison.

All of the above has been my experience during the past several years. I have no place to file a lawsuit here, and have received no response to my appeal. In 2005, when people from outside tried to investigate the persecution of Song Qing, Zhang Jing and others, the prison made false testimony, hiding the truth.

I appeal to the United Nations and the international human rights organizations to uphold justice for me, guarantee the human rights, lives and health of the Falun Gong practitioners, guarantee Falun Gong practitioners who have similar experiences as me not to be persecuted any longer, and at the same time, to sue the department and individual persecutors mentioned above in an international court.

1. "Big hang up" - There are two forms in this torture: (1) With both hands cuffed behind the back and only the toes touching the ground, one is hung by a rope that is tied to the metal window frames. (2) One hand of a practitioner is cuffed to one bunk bed and the other hand to another bed, and the two beds are pulled in the opposite directions. One feels extreme pain as the body is pulled.

(Clearwisdom.net) A "solemn declaration" is a person's public statement declaring to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. Also, as more and more people in China learn the truth about how they have been deceived and lied to by the Jiang regime, many non-practitioners are also submitting "solemn declarations."

I remember that once a colleague of mine told me, "When you travel in mainland China, you have to keep a clear head. If you drink, don't get drunk. If you sleep, don't sleep too deeply, otherwise when you wake up it is very likely you will be short an organ." He said that this is a joke his friends who travel in China usually tell.

At that time, I didn't take it seriously. But I feel that under the domination of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Chinese society is bizarre and motley and almost anything goes these days. Now when I see the modern hospital located at Sujiatun in Shenyang City, which really does carry out such horrific and inhuman practices, sorrow fills my heart.

The Sujiatun concentration camp not only steals organs to sell them but uses living, breathing people as their sources. After the necessary organs are harvested, the victim's remains are thrown into a crematorium to destroy all traces of their crimes. According to witness reports, during the process, little anesthetic is ever used. The victims were beaten until they only had feeble breathing and they were then thrown onto the dissection table for the operation.

The victims are said to all be Falun Gong practitioners, only because the CCP publicly decreed the three policies "Defame their reputation, bankrupt them financially and destroy them physically" on all Falun Gong practitioners. As a result, relatives of the considerable number of missing practitioners still don't know where to ask for news of their loved ones. Because of this, this evil activity has carried on from 2001 until the present time. The more victims they process, the more familiar they become (with the operations), and the number of victims of particularly serious crimes is extremely large. It is said that at least 4000 Falun Gong practitioners have been murdered. The witness also said that about 2000 people were still detained there. They are very likely to be transferred to another place and killed by the CCP in order to destroy the evidence.

It is said that organ transplants need to be paired and it is believed that the recipients' survival rate is greater when organs from live donors are used. So I imagine that in order to fit the prerequisite specifications coming in from all over the world, whenever there is a need, a Falun Gong practitioner who matches with the recipient will be put onto the operating table. These people are like lambs ready for slaughter: when there is a buyer, the butcher will select one in accordance with the needs of the buyer. Their organs are harvested while the victims are still alive; their liver and kidneys are harvested, their corneas taken and finally their skin. The bodies, having no further value, are cremated.

During this deal, the butcher is the doctor, the buyer is the organ recipient, the Chinese Communist regime is the one who grasps and provides this market mechanism. Maybe my metaphor is not absolutely appropriate. Now regions that place value on freedom also treat their animals with humanity; they even use electric slaughter techniques when killing chickens to make their death less painful. A veterinarian friend of mine told me that there is an unwritten rule in veterinary science where one has to give silent tribute for minutes before dissecting an animal to show respect for its life and appreciation of its contribution. Then I don't know what the CCP consider a human to be? What does the Sujiatun incident stand for? I only want to ask: Is this still human society?

I also want to ask my Chinese friends, if you are still saying this has nothing to do with you, if you still continue to defend the CCP, if you still have any illusions towards the CCP, if you still don't make a declaration to withdraw from this evil specter and its affiliated organizations, if you remain unmoved------, then I have nothing to say to you. I only want to stand up and walk to the windowsill for a breath of fresh air, to see whether the cold wind in this spring night can dry the tearstains on my face that has not been wiped dry.

Jin Zhong, a pseudonym for the journalist who fled China recently, claims to have uncovered a secret detention center in the northern part of the country where inmates are being murdered and their organs sold to domestic and international buyers. He said he first learned of the alleged harvesting operation between October and December and that the prisoners were members of the outlawed Falun Gong religious group. "This is murder and murder sponsored by a state," said the reporter who has been a contributor to a Japanese news agency.

Jin said he came across the underground detention center while researching the Chinese government's response to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Sars), reported The Washington Times.

A Chinese official was the first person to reveal that secret medical work was being done at the Liaoning Provincial Thrombosis Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine.

The hospital is in Sujiatun, a suburb of Shenyang, a major city in north-eastern China, Jin said.

He added that he found out that a large underground prison was built beneath the hospital and that members of the outlawed Falun Gong religious group were being held there.

As many as 6,000 people are thought to be held prisoner at the underground facility, he said.

The hospital is harvesting the organs of the prisoners, including kidneys, livers and eye parts, he alleged.

One source for Jin was the wife of a hospital doctor who was involved in the organ harvesting.

The doctor reportedly suffered psychological problems as a result of the gruesome medical work and disclosed the secret activity. The Chinese woman has fled to the US.

Several other hospital workers also revealed details about the prisoner organ harvesting.

Jin said he had to hide his true identity allegedly because of threats from Chinese government agents. He was arrested twice for his reporting and recently fled to the US, where he plans to seek political asylum.

Jin said bodies of the prisoners were burned in the boiler room of the hospital and that workers there had taken jewelry and watches from the dead and sold them. He added that he had provided information about the organ harvesting to US government officials, including members of Congress.

Reports of organs being removed from Chinese prisoners have persisted since the 1980s.

However, evidence was only anecdotal given the secrecy surrounding the estimated 8,000 Chinese executions a year, reported UK's The Independent.

Today, however, organ transplants in Shanghai are widely advertised, including on the Internet, with surgery costing US$58,000 ($94,000) for a kidney and US$85,000 for a liver.

The trade is growing despite reports of problems in follow-up care and organ rejection, the newspaper reported.

This Falun Gong practitioner has protested in Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C.

Wisconsin Dells - A Dells woman returned Monday from New York City where she had participated in a protest of China's treatment of practitioners of Falun Gong.

Yan Chuan Koehler, wife of Chris Koehler, traveled to New York with her parents, Xiang Lin Wang and Yiuqing Cheng, to the protest - one of several she attended trying to bring attention to the plight of those who follow Falun Dafa or Falun Gong.

Yan Chuan is a practitioner, as are her parents.

According to the Falun Dafa Reader, "Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) is a way to improve the body, mind and spirit that consists of exercise, meditation and teachings that are rooted in ancient Chinese culture."

One component is slow-moving, relaxing exercises that are supposed to improve health. A second part of the philosophy is the traditional Chinese teachings known as the Tao or law. The core teachings are truth, compassion and forbearance, according to the Reader. "Students of Falun Gong consider these virtues to be the nature of the universe, and it is these that they strive to perfect in themselves."

The philosophy originated in China in 1992 by Li Hongzhi. Yan Chuan said it has no church and no leader. Followers study the books, "Zhaun Falun" or "Falun Gong."

Since 1992, it has attracted 100 million practitioners in China and the government of China is not happy. Yan Chuan, with help in translation from her husband, said the government is afraid of the practice because it cannot control it and the government worries that practitioners will overthrow the Communist Party.

On July 20, 1999, she said, the government ruled that no one could study Falun Gong in China, take classes about the philosophy or do the exercises. The Chinese government began to throw people in prison and torture those who practiced Falun Gong.

Yan Chuan said her son-in-law's mother was sent to prison for being a follower of Falun Gong. While there, she was tortured with electrical shocks. She was not allowed to eat, sleep or use the bathroom for three days at a time, Yan Chuan said. After three years, she was released, and Yan Chuan said that was probably because she had relatives in America. "She got off easy." Those with relatives in the United States are less likely to be killed and more likely to be released, she said.

Of special concern to Yan Chuan now is a prison near the city she is from in China. The Sujiatun Death Camp, she said, is harvesting organs from prisoners and disposing of the prisoner's bodies by cremating them. "They die. They are put in the fire," she said.

The operations for organs are done at a nearby city hospital in the basement she said. Doctors from the hospital are now defecting to the United States or committing suicide, she said, to escape the work the government is making them do.

Chris Koehler compared the camp to those Hitler set up to exterminate Jews during World War II.

Chris met his wife in China when he went to visit a friend there. They have been married nine years. He said it took him a year to get her out of China and then it took two years to get her daughter out of China. It took nine years to bring her parents to their Newport home from China.

While Yan Chuan was waiting for Chris to get her to the United States, she learned about Falun Gong. She is glad to be in the United States because she can continue to follow the philosophy. "If I was in China I would be in prison."

She does not just practice the philosophy. She is very active in protesting the treatment of Falun Gong practitioners in China. She has traveled to Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. to participate in protests and pass out information about Falun Gong.

With the help of a friend in Madison, she wrote a letter to the editor, (see page A6) asking people here to contact President Bush. She wants people to ask Bush to demand the Chinese government disband the Sujiatun death camp and other prison camps and lead an international investigation of the camps.

Chinese President Hu Jintao will be visiting Bush in Washington on April 20. Yan Chuan plans to be in Washington to protest the treatment of Falun Gong practitioners. She hopes to take word from people here that they also support the right of people in China to follow the Falun Gong philosophy.

(Clearwisdom.net) Voices of justice, sharp as knives, have been shredding the skin of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) layer by layer since the news of Sujiatun became available. The true image of the evil party has been displayed for all humanity to see.

When I sent righteous thoughts at 6:00 p.m. on March 18, 2006, my body felt like it was entering a tubular mechanism which was filled with sharp knifes and worked automatically. When my body moved inside, the machine intended to cut and split my flesh body. At that time, I immediately thought about the fact that I was a Dafa disciple and that the mechanism Master gave us requires both the flesh body and the Immortal Infant for us to cultivate. We are definitely not allowed to discard our flesh bodies. Therefore, this mechanism must have been set up by the old forces, because most of the cultivators of the past were not concerned with cultivating the flesh body.

I immediately added a thought to disintegrate the remaining mechanisms of the old forces and to completely deny the arrangements they made for Dafa practitioners, and for Master to strengthen my abilities. Under the effect of powerful righteous thoughts, the mechanism disintegrated very slowly and reluctantly. Afterwards, I broke through the shell of this world and entered into a very broad and wonderful dimension.

However, when I send righteous thoughts these days, I find that the mechanism does not disappear. So I now realize that the old forces arranged the same mechanism for each Dafa disciple. If we cannot disintegrate it with our powerful righteous thoughts, we will be following the path arranged by the old forces. Once we recognize the old force arrangements, we not only bring our benevolent Master troubles in the process of Fa-rectification, but also cause irredeemable losses in our own cultivation.

In order to stop us from practicing Falun Dafa, the old forces test us with this mechanism during these final steps. Master does not recognize the so-called test, so we should firmly deny it. We must be clearheaded and realize that the persecution is not a persecution of human beings persecuting other human beings. If the evil party did not have old force support, it would not have the ability to persecute us at all. Therefore, we cannot leave the old forces with any excuses to take advantage of us, which inevitably increases the extent of the persecution. If we completely eliminate the old forces, the evil party will cease exist.

I hope all fellow practitioners will expose the evil and clarify the truth to the people of the world in a timely fashion. We need to send forth powerful righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil, completely deny the old force arrangements, and completely disintegrate the final mechanism arranged by the old forces to test practitioners in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. We need to help our fellow practitioners leave that demonic den with righteous thoughts.

(Clearwisdom.net) Some practitioners have had doubts about the number of practitioners thought to be detained at Sujiatun. Also, from the perspective of the Fa principles, it seems that such a large scale of horrific persecution should not have happened, especially to steadfast practitioners. I would like to share my own understanding on the issue. Please point out anything improper.

To us cultivators, how we look at the issue is serious, as it concerns a fundamental matter. To put it more seriously, it is a matter of whether one holds firm belief in Master and Dafa. Treating this matter with righteous thoughts is a prerequisite for us doing well in exposing the evil, resisting the persecution, rescuing fellow practitioners and saving more sentient beings. To allow the numbers to guide our thoughts is basing our understanding on perceptual knowledge and the information stored in our brains. It is judging things by what we can see. This way of thinking is in itself rather limited and lacks all-around perspective, because each of us is limited in our vision and in our contact with other people and other situations. Of all the calamities in the world, when the crimes were first exposed, the information was not complete, because the evildoers were trying to cover it up. The great majority of people don't pay attention to such situations, often for several years, at least partly due to the lack of comprehensive information and independent verification.

However, we are Dafa practitioners after all, and we ought not perceive things based on our perceptual knowledge. We should have a righteous understanding of the matter from the perceptive of the Fa. Master told us that all of the sinister and ruthless means developed throughout history have been used to persecute Dafa disciples. Many Dafa disciples have experienced such tribulations before. This time, during Fa-rectification, the old forces have made similar arrangements. I believe that their arrangements were much more miserable and vehement than have actually come to pass. Master reduced them to the current degree which Dafa disciples could endure. However, these things still happened, and we find it hard to endure and difficult to accept. Don't we believe that the evil could be this evil and ruthless?

Some practitioners know that these are old force arrangements but cannot understand why gods have allowed it to happen. They say that such steadfast Dafa disciples should not endure these sufferings. I would like to share my understanding from two perspectives.

One is that whatever problems we cultivators encounter, we should first of all look within ourselves, and check how well we have done. We should not look outwards. Nothing happens by accident.

When problems occur we should not retreat from our leading role and make comments as onlookers. From a certain perspective, isn't it true that the reason for what has happened at Sujiatun is because we have failed to be as indestructible as diamond?

The tribulation occurred. We must not acknowledge the arrangements, but how do we do this? It is not something to which we only pay lip service. We Dafa disciples are future gods who are assisting Master in Fa-rectification in the human world. If we conduct ourselves righteously, we should be confident in this world.

Master has given us all capabilities and Dafa offers us everything we need. If we had done well as one body, such tribulations could be avoided. When such persecution happens, it is not merely a matter concerning the 6,000 practitioners, nor is it only a local issue. Instead, it is a matter that concerns us all as one body, and every single one of us is involved. Master once said that if one Dafa disciple is able to be that righteous and that pure when sending forth righteous thoughts, the evil will disintegrate in no time. Have we cultivated to that state?

Every one of us may have done things that are not satisfactory in our various realms, which has made it more difficult for Master's Fa-rectification. The result is that the evil factors are not completely eliminated and the persecution continues, while so many fellow practitioners have perished.

They have suffered so much in the last few years, yet we did not even know. Although what has happened had something to do with their individual factors, we also bear responsibility. These practitioners might have come from anywhere, yet it has happened around us. We may not know any of the 6,000 practitioners, but this is no excuse for not doing well.

We may try to cover up our own shortcomings by finding many objective excuses. We may also discover many of our own individual problems and problems that concern the whole body from this incident. We indeed must no longer care only about ourselves. Our way of cultivation is formless, yet on our journey home, we should take count of our numbers and see who is left behind so that we can lend a helping hand. We should see who has stumbled so that we can help them up. We should let go of our "self" and care about others. We have at heart the sentient beings, and we clarify the truth to them to save them. Among us Dafa disciples we should care even more for each other, help each other and cherish each other. This way we will form one body that is harmonious and indestructible and we will advance diligently together. No matter what has happened in the past, now we should not seek outwardly any longer. We should truly think about this deeply and think about our own problems.

We do not acknowledge this persecution, nor do we acknowledge the old forces and their arrangements. Yet, they have done what they did. How do we do what we should do while denying their persecution? Haven't tens of thousands of steadfast Dafa disciples come through amid tribulations? Master said,

Master tells us that everything in the human society exists for Dafa, so we should not perceive the issue one-sidedly. The tribulation occurred and the persecution happened. From them Dafa disciples did find out our own problems and improved ourselves. We make use of the persecution to expose the evil and help the people clearly see the brutality and the ugly face of the evil so as to rescue people more widely. We must let everything the evil has done turn into a scandal and a defeat.

Another fundamental issue we need to be very clear about is that we cultivators look at things in opposition to the principles of everyday people. We should look at things and measure things with righteous principles. When tribulations have gone beyond what we can imagine, let us take a look at our own states of mind. Everything that has happened may touch those notions that do not belong to us. Should we then say that we won't have it, we won't tolerate it, and then look outward and have doubts? What do we doubt? We see that our fellow practitioners have suffered huge tribulations, yet have we thought that Master has suffered tribulations many more times larger than these?

For a person who might suffer a stroke, as in the example Master gave in Zhuan Falun, Master would have to drink a bowl of poison to reduce his karma and only let him endure that bit of brain dysfunction. Yet this person believed that he had the problem because of practicing Dafa. Isn't the case that our doubts today also reflect the same mentality? We can understand the tribulation of a stroke because it is within our range of tolerance. But when 6,000 practitioners have suffered such large-scale miserable tribulation, it has gone beyond the bounds of our imagination and our capacity for tolerance. Our hearts weep because we are one body and the tribulations our fellow practitioners suffer feel like we are suffering as well. However, we must also think about how much suffering Master will bear. It is enormous.

Some practitioners think that their state of mind is different from that of everyday people in society. They are validating the Fa and saving sentient beings, and when they come across tribulations they are still very firm. Then why is it that they still cannot break through the tribulations and still suffer persecution? There is an element of the old forces' arrangements, and there are also many other complex factors involved. However, as long as we keep righteous thoughts and righteous actions, and meet the Fa standards required at various levels and improve ourselves, we will be able to break away from the arrangements made by the old forces and the constraints of the old universe will not have much effect on us.

The Fa has standards that we must meet at different levels. For example, if you should ascend to level "6," and yet you still keep doing things according to the standards at level "3" for a long time, you will not be able to improve and will have difficulty breaking through the tribulations accumulated. Each tribulation that occurs is for our improvement. We cannot mark time at one level with repeated tribulations. There is no time for that. If we cannot rise up to higher levels during the tribulations, then gods at higher levels will view us as everyday people, and the old forces' substances will take effect and this will cause more difficulties for Maser's Fa-rectification.

The persecution of the 6,000 practitioners is also directed at us as a whole body and at each one of us. The evils that should have been eliminated still have not been eliminated. The sentient beings that we should rescue still do not know the truth. There are still separations between practitioners and we have not formed as one body. We have for so long failed to remember those detained practitioners, let alone care for them and help them. All these have allowed the evil to be so rampant. We must deny the persecution and completely deny all old force arrangements. We must firmly believe in Master and strengthen our righteous thoughts in breaking with obstruction in validating the Fa and saving sentient beings. We must keep righteous thoughts and righteous actions, destroy the mechanisms arranged by the old forces so that they will not have any effect on us, and walk the path Master has arranged for us.

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998 in China. I have long wished to share my experiences with fellow practitioners. However, I am illiterate and can't write Chinese characters. Because of a hint from Teacher, a Minghui/Clearwisdom request to submit articles about our experiences, and encouragement from fellow practitioners, I was finally able to dictate this article to a fellow practitioner, who wrote down my thoughts.

Before I started practicing Falun Dafa, I suffered from many illnesses and had to take injections and medicines for many years. The doctors described my symptoms as "syndromes." I tried acupuncture, surgery, electrotherapy, and many different kinds of treatments, but without any improvement. I was left with no other choice but to try qigong. Although I practiced qigong for five years, there were no discernible healing effects.

In 1998, a practitioner introduced me to Falun Dafa. Three months into the practice, all my illnesses disappeared. During these three months, I experienced major illness karma twice and my son tried to take me to the hospital. I told him, "Teacher is dissolving a great amount of karma for me. I guarantee you that I will recover tomorrow. I don't need to go to a hospital." As I had predicted, I no longer had a fever by the second day when I got up. Ever since then, I have been very clear-minded. My family, relatives and friends, including my sons and daughters-in-law, witnessed the miracle of Dafa through me. They all believe that Dafa is great. Since the dissolving of illness karma for the second time, I have never suffered any illness and my entire body continues to feel very light.

I persevered in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises daily. I never felt tired, no matter how much I had to do, including household chores. My sons bought an audio player and a VCR for me. My daughters-in-law all supported me. Every morning, I took the audio player to the practice site to join group practice. In the daytime, fellow practitioners came to my home to watch the videotape of Teacher's lectures and listen to an audiotape of Teacher's lectures. I felt energetic and very happy and worry-free from deep within my heart. I truly thank Teacher for giving me a second life. Teacher taught me so many principles on how to be a good person and helped me transcend an everyday person's life.

Because I was uneducated, I felt bad that I was illiterate when I attended group Fa study. Later I understood that Dafa has supernatural powers. Before each group Fa study session, I listened to the audio-tape of Teacher's lecture and read the book at the same time to learn the characters in the book. During group Fa study, fellow practitioners taught me characters that I couldn't figure out and corrected my mistakes. I persevered! Thus, I was able to spend time studying Fa and not waste other practitioners' time during group Fa study. Now I am able to read all of Teacher's lectures and Dafa materials. In addition to that, I participate in the production of truth-clarification materials. I know it is Teacher's benevolence and the power of Dafa that changed my body and soul.

I learned to read and understand more characters, so I could read through the book, because Teacher encouraged me greatly. When I read Zhuan Falun, all the characters in the book were silver and the paper was pink. When I went to Beijing to validate Dafa, every period in Zhuan Falun became a Falun emblem. They overlapped layer by layer in different dimensions. I was able to see supernatural phenomena in very deep dimensions. I realized it was Teacher encouraging me to be even more diligent in cultivation.

After the evil began persecuting Dafa on July 20, 1999, I told my sons, "All their propaganda is fabricated. Teacher told us in the book killing is a sin and one cannot commit suicide. Our Teacher never taught us to do the things shown on TV." I ordered my sons not to watch TV again. I continued to study the Fa and practice the exercises and never stopped for a single day.

My sons were worried that I might get arrested. They suggested that I hide all my Dafa books. I thought I should protect the Dafa books, so I hid them. In the evening, I had a dream. In my dream, Teacher was giving a lecture. I raised my hand and said, "I don't have the book." Teacher replied, "How are you going to cultivate without the book?" After I woke up, I realized that Teacher was giving me a hint that I shouldn't have hidden the books. Instead, I should continue to study the Fa even more diligently.

I also remembered that Teacher asked us to read the book Essentials for Further Advancement ten times. At that time, I still had a lot of difficulty reading through the book. Therefore, I made myself read Essentials for Further Advancement twelve times. Through Fa study, I realized I should step out to validate Dafa. At that time, some of my fellow practitioners were arrested, some were sentenced to prison, and some didn't dare to continue cultivation.

In early 2000, I went to Beijing to validate Dafa with two fellow practitioners. When the train arrived at Qingdao City, the police stopped us and asked me, "Where are you from?" I thought, "If I tell him my hometown, our local police will be punished so I should not implicate them." I didn't reveal my home address. Instead, I told the police how wonderful Dafa is, how Dafa cultivation removed all my illnesses and changed my body and soul. I also told them that Dafa and Teacher were being wronged by Jiang.

The police locked us in a room with many other arrested practitioners. I took the lead to shout, "Falun Dafa is great! Restore Our Teacher's Innocent Reputation!" The police couldn't find out where I was from and had no choice but to put me on a train heading for Heilongjiang Province. I told the police, "Do not arrest Falun Gong practitioners again. We are a group of good people following the principles 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.'" The police replied, "It is an order from above. We have to follow orders. If you think Dafa is good, simply go home and practice at home." I realized that Teacher was protecting me so that I could go back home safe and sound.

As soon as I got home, a local police officer came and told me, "Someone reported you to the police, saying that it was you who instigated his family member (a fellow practitioner with whom I went to Beijing) to go to Beijing to appeal." I didn't cooperate with him and didn't say a word. Then the police wanted to detain that fellow practitioner. I resisted. I said, "Don't put her in prison. You may put me in prison instead!" My son was outraged. He said, "Her family member reported you to the police. You didn't deny it, but on the contrary, you wanted to go to prison in her place to protect her. What is wrong with you?" Later, the police could not find any excuse to arrest me and allowed me to go home.

After I got home, I thought it over. The more I thought about it, the more I felt I should validate Dafa in a noble and dignified manner. Every time the police came to harass me, I clarified the truth to them. The more I clarified the truth, the more talkative I became and the more solid and calm I felt in my heart. The police could only listen to me. They could not interrupt me. Every time they left our home, they knew that there was nothing that would change my mind. Gradually they changed their attitude and no longer came to harass me. I realized it was all because of the Fa's power. Later, whenever they met me, they kindly told me to pay attention and be careful. I simply smiled at them. I thought to myself, "Doing well in validating Dafa and in what I am supposed to do is the only and the best way to ensure my safety. Only Teacher can guarantee my utmost safety."

Later I realized that Teacher took care of me and protected me simply because I came to this world to validate Dafa and to save sentient beings. At that time, I moved into a new home, which was in another region. I noticed that there were no Dafa banners or materials in the neighborhood. I went to stores to buy chalk and started to write, "Falun Dafa is Great! Falun Dafa is the Righteous Fa!" on walls in alleys. At the beginning, I didn't know how to write these characters, so I practiced at home. Very soon, I learned to write these characters. In the evening, I went out to write the Dafa message on walls, on electric poles, wherever I could, and wherever pedestrians could see the message. Sometimes, I wrote and wrote until dawn.

Initially, I tried to conceal what I was doing from my sons, fearing that they would worry about me and not concentrate on their work. On one occasion, I went out to write Dafa messages with three boxes of chalk, three hundred stickers, and many truth-clarification materials. As I was writing, I heard police car sirens all over the neighborhood. At that time, I had used up my stickers, truth-clarification materials, and half of the chalk. Another box and a half were left. I heard footsteps behind me as I was writing and there were only two characters left to be written. I thought to myself, "No matter who you are, I must complete the phrase."

After I finished writing the last two characters, I tried my best to run away. Someone shouted from behind me, "Stop! Or I will shoot you!" I thought I must not get hurt, because there are so many things I need to accomplish. So I stopped running and remained still. The police ran toward me. As he approached me, I sent forth righteous thought to stop the evil behind him. I did not answer any of his questions and kept sending strong forth righteous thoughts. He asked, "Why did you write these words? What use can they serve? Didn't you see the TV broadcasts saying that those who practice Falun Gong committed suicide and became insane?" I replied, "All those stories are fabricated. Our Teacher taught us not to kill lives." As soon as I finished my words, I continued to send forth righteous thoughts. The officer said, "Three of us are hiding here today to arrest Falun Gong practitioners. The other two went into the other direction and I am here alone. Because you are an elderly woman, I will not arrest you. Go home as soon as possible. I guess you sons and daughters-in-law are waiting for you at home. See, you are cold." I turned around and walked away. The policeman called from behind, "Grandma, don't get lost!" I thought to myself, "I have Teacher to show me the way. I will never get lost. I will continue writing Dafa messages tonight."

By 2:00 a.m., I had used all the chalk. I went home and entered our home quietly. The next day, one of my daughters-in-law asked me, "Mom, my eldest brother told us there was a large-scale arrest last night. How come you didn't come back when it was so late last night? I was really worried about you." I said, "There won't be any problem. I have Teacher's protection. In the future, don't worry about me." We later learned the large-scale arrest was at Jiang's orders. Many fellow practitioners were arrested and sent to prison that night.

In the following evenings, I wrote "Falun Dafa is Great!" on the red scarves and red belt, which my daughter-in-law brought with her on her wedding day and hung them out. Occasionally, when I didn't know how to write a certain character in a Dafa message, my daughter-in-law would help me out. Thus, with Teacher's care and protection, I never stopped doing Dafa work, despite the fact that police were hiding everywhere to catch and arrest Dafa practitioners.

In 2002, a fellow practitioner who was just released from a detention center wanted to read truth clarification materials. I prepared some materials specifically for her area. On my way to her home, the bus had a flat tire and could not move for quite some time. I carried the material in a bag, got off the bus, and started to walk. Someone shouted at me and asked me to stop, I didn't pay much attention and continued to walk Suddenly, a car approached me and stopped right in front of me to block my way. I found out it was the director of the local police station. He asked me what I was carrying with me. As he was speaking, he grabbed the bag from me. He looked at the material inside the bag and noticed it was Dafa material, so he took me to the police station, and tried to interrogate me to find out the source of the materials and put me in detention.

As soon as I arrived at the police station, I started sending righteous thoughts. When the police asked me for the source of the material, I did not say a word. A policeman said, "Even if you just tell us one person's name, I will release you." I refused and erected my palm to send forth righteous thoughts, and started to clarify truth to him. The officer asked me, "Where were you going to take the material?" I said, "It was meant to be given to you. I want to save you. Don't believe in the rumors and slander Jiang Zemin fabricated. He wants to ruin you. Our Teacher taught us to offer salvation to you. All the propaganda on TV is lies. Don't believe it." Thus, I clarified the truth to the director, and with Teacher's help I gradually learned to clarify the truth with wisdom. He called my son to take me home.

In the summer of 2002, a local policeman came to my home with an ink box and demanded to take my fingerprint. He said, "All Falun Gong practitioners have to be fingerprinted." I knew immediately what their intention was and I firmly refused. I could not allow them any excuse to persecute me. I have to validate Dafa! My son was home at the time. He and the local policeman tried to persuade me to be fingerprinted. I said to them, "Because of the practice of Falun Gong, I'm no longer ill. Now I want to live peacefully in my old age. But you try to stop me from practicing Falun Gong and force me to be fingerprinted. I didn't violate any law, nor did I steal anything. I am a law-abiding citizen, a good citizen. It is you who wants to disturb my peaceful life. All right. I'll leave home. Let me tell you, it is you policemen that are forcing me to become homeless." With these words, I took a few clothes and went away. It was time for sending forth righteous thoughts. I sat beside a railway and sent forth righteous thoughts for a very long time.

Later I thought to myself, "If I leave home like this, my sons and daughters-in-law will worry about me and not concentrate on their work. Moreover, there are many things waiting to be accomplished in this region." So I went home. My daughter-in-law was worried about me. She was very happy to see me. She told me happily that my eldest son kept calling them, asking, "Has Mom come back home?" My son asked me over the phone, "Why did you refuse to be fingerprinted?" I explained to him the intention of the police in getting practitioners' fingerprints. My son didn't say a word after my explanation.

During the 2003 Chinese New Year, five people, including the director of the local police station and the political commissar, came to my home to harass me again. I thought to myself, "According to Teacher's teaching, these people deserve to be saved too." So I prepared truth-clarification VCDs and other materials for each of them. When they came, I told them how cultivation of Dafa had benefited me physically and mentally. At the same time, I sent forth righteous thoughts to dissolve all evil factors obstructing them from being saved. I also told them that the evil head, Jiang Zemin, was exploiting them to wage a political struggle against the Chinese people. They all felt that what I said made a lot of sense. Upon leaving, they said to me, "All right. You may practice the exercises at home." From this experience, I realized I am a Falun Dafa disciple in the period of Fa-rectification. I should valid Dafa under all circumstances.

As soon as I came to this understanding, my parents-in-law called me and invited me for a visit. I knew these people also needed to be saved, so I prepared many materials and went to my in-law's home. My husband passed away many years ago. My youngest son was not yet born when he died. My parents-in-law were surprised to see that I was in good health after so many years of hard work and bringing up three children. They asked me, "How did you manage to bring up the children on your own? How come you are so healthy?"

I told them about my experience in practicing Falun Gong and that it was Falun Gong that made me healthy again. At the beginning, as soon as I mentioned "Falun Gong," they were reluctant to listen, so I temporarily dropped the subject and sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors, which obstructed them from learning the truth about Dafa. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts every day for a whole week. Then I grasped every opportunity to clarify the truth to them. Gradually their attitude changed. My father-in-law was suffering a major illness. I taught him to chant, "Falun Dafa is Great!" Within two days, my father-in-law was able to sit. Within one week, he was able to walk with the support of a rail. Upon seeing that, one of my sisters-in-law decided to practice Falun Gong with me.

One day one of our relatives had to go somewhere when it was dark. She was scared and remembered that I had told her to chant, "Falun Dafa is Great!" So she chanted "Falun Dafa is great" repeatedly. Gradually, she no longer felt scared. When she returned home, she told me, "Dafa is really miraculous. What you told me is indeed correct. As I chanted and chanted, I no longer felt scared."

My in-laws' neighbors all came to talk to me. They asked about what they had seen on TV about Falun Gong. I told them the facts and about how Dafa was being persecuted. It was indeed Teacher's arrangement for me make that trip to save them.

In late 2004, Teacher published the new lecture "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World." I came to understand that we should use this material in our truth clarification efforts. We needed to persuade people to renounce the evil CCP. At that time, I still held affection for my son. I tried to persuade him to renounce the CCP daily. However, he was very stubborn and didn't want to renounce the evil party. I was worried and I thought to myself, "If I can't even succeed in persuading my family members, how can I persuade others." So I studied the Fa more diligently and watched the VCDs of the "Nine Commentaries of the Chinese Communist Party." After I watched two sessions, I realized that I should not think that way. It was caused by affection, which I needed to relinquish. I should save all sentient beings that I encounter.

I talked to everyone I ran into about renouncing the CCP and its related organizations. When I took the bus, I talked to the passengers. When I attended a wedding, I talked to other attendees. When I bought gifts, I talked to the store clerk. Whenever I met an acquaintance, I would talk about it. I also realized that I needed copies of the Nine Commentaries and other related materials to deliver to police stations. I secretly put the material at the gate of police stations and people's workplaces.

Once when I was about to put the material at the gate, the director happened to open the door and come out. He asked me, "What are you coming here for?" I replied directly, "I am coming to deliver wonderful gifts to you." He said, "Don't put it at the gate then. Come inside." I was thus able to enter the director's office to clarify the truth to him in person.

Before long, my son returned home. I had not yet thoroughly clarified the truth to him, so I told him that Jiang Zemin had exploited the Communist Party and used atheism to persecute Falun Dafa and Dafa disciples. These people are the best people in society. The Communist Party and atheism has persecuted to death so many people. My son agreed to renounce the party. I then understood that we can clarify the truth successfully only if we let go of fame. We have to be sincere in saving sentient beings, so the power of Dafa can manifest in us.

Teacher has said, "When one person obtains the Fa, the whole family will benefit."(Zhuan Falun Fajie). My family is such an example. For example, when my son and daughter-in-law had a before-marriage medical exam, the doctor found that my son's blood test showed that he was not susceptible to diseases. He appeared to be immune. The doctor said my son would not contract any infectious disease and there was no need to have the hepatitis B vaccine.

On one occasion, my son and his supervisor drove to a faraway region on a business trip. On their way, there was heavy rain and the road was slippery. Their car hit a tree and was totaled. It was very scary! However, my son and his supervisor weren't injured. They crawled out of the car and rented another truck to haul their car away. I told my son, "It was our Teacher who protected you."

Every time I stopped police from harassing me, every time I successfully clarified the truth about Dafa, and every time I persuaded people to renounce the evil party I realized that it was due to Teacher's compassion. I was successful because of my firm belief in Dafa and in Teacher. Because I firmly believe in Teacher and Dafa, I was never arrested or detained by police during all the years of the persecution.

During the past several years, I have accomplished much under Teacher's protection. There is not enough space here to describe all of it. I was previously rather ill and now I'm healthy. I was illiterate and can now read all of Teacher's lectures and all Dafa materials. Now, not only can I read, but I am also able to write articles to promote Dafa and to undertake Dafa projects. All these miracles took place because of Teacher's compassionate salvation and great care.

This is the first time I have been able to share my experiences of validating Dafa with fellow practitioners in writing. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a teacher in a junior middle school, and am responsible for the physical education program there. Though I teach several classes, the time I can spend with the students is quite limited. Each week there are two classes, and I conduct most of them outside, therefore there is not much time to talk with the students. I often worry about how to guide the students who have already become members of the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) so they will withdraw their membership. I tried talking to them one on one, but the effect was not good. Through continuous Fa study, I gradually understood the fine and subtle Fa principle of Master's teachings:

In China, the CCP promotes commercialization of education, and the subsequent negative effect is quite bad. In the schools, they charge the students all kinds of fees without any regulation, and the relationship between students and teachers is quite intense. Quite a few teachers curse the students from start to finish during their classes, and often physically punish the students. In the CCP education system, students committing suicide is quite common. The only thing that the schools and society care about is the enrollment rate and the number of students who pass the entrance exams for elite schools. The CCP's schools' so-called "comprehensive development of moral-wisdom-physical health" is total deception. The "morals" that are claimed by the CCP is just political brainwashing, deceiving the students so they become party faithful themselves.

I started talking with the students to find out why their school experiences were so painful, and about the commercialization of the educational system, so I could gradually guide them in the right direction. I made the comparison between China and other countries, and between present and ancient times. During breaks in physical education classes, I took the opportunity to talk to them. I also used the time on rainy days when classes were held inside to talk to the students.

I talked to them about certain teachings of physical exercise, qigong practice and ancient Chinese myths and legends. The students showed great interest in these subjects, because their knowledge was limited to their textbooks. Chinese students have few chances to read other books outside of their classes. Controlled and restrained by CCP culture, the students have no chance to obtain any knowledge at all outside class. During the daily classes, I always maintained a peaceful and calm mind in my speech and actions. I settled all conflicts and problems with compassion and righteous thoughts. I do not curse or conduct physical punishment, and the students enjoy my classes very much.

As a result, the opportunities to clarify the truth mature more and more. One time when I wanted to guide the students to quit their membership in the Youth League, the evil CCP coincidently handed out a document ordering all the students to have an immunization and at the same time required them to pay a fee of 30 yuan per person. This was my chance to guide them and help them to withdraw their memberships.

I asked Master for help and to arrange a rainy day so that I could teach the class inside. As expected, I had the chance to do it. I started by talking about the immunization, and about the medical system of the CCP in comparison to that of western countries. I talked about medical expenses, and told them that this immunization only costs a few yuan while they were charged 30 yuan, and in addition that the government should offer free immunizations. I further talked about the corruption of government officials. For example the local party secretary traveled in an expensive car, while not investing one cent for education. As a result, the conditions in the schools are very simple and crude. I told them that they were deceived into paying a membership fee to be members of the Party or the Youth League, etc. The students were often in an uproar, and all said that they did not know about any of this and that they were shocked when they found out. The effect of the class was intense.

In the end, I said, "Let's make a meaningful choice. Whether you are a member of the Youth League or not, you have a chance to make another choice. Those who truly do not want to join the Youth League from the bottom of your heart, please sit down!" All of a sudden, all the students sat down with a smile. All of them started to laugh with great joy. Instantly, the evil specter of the CCP dissolved!

I thank Master for giving me the wisdom and power to help sentient beings to learn the truth. I used this method with all the students I taught and thereby exposed the evil and guided them to quit the CCP and its affiliates. Occasionally I had one or two students who were unwilling to quit, so I talked to them individually. Some understood and some still needed more opportunities. I am also thinking about how I can save the students who are not in my classes. I think as long as I do it with my heart, that Master will arrange opportunities for me. The students who have already learned the truth will also spread it among their classmates. The time left is very limited. We should hurry and save more people!

(Clearwisdom.net) After enduring six years of persecution, Mr. Qiu Zhaojin was reunited with his wife in Toronto on March 3, 2006. When reporters interviewed him, he spoke of the hardships of three years in a labor camp. He suffered all sorts of torture and forced hard labor. His health was ruined and a doctor declared that he was beyond any treatment.

Mr. Qiu Zhaojin was an art editor for the Dazhong Daily, a province level government newspaper, in Shandong Province. He and his wife began practicing Falun Dafa in July 1995. In 1998 his wife visited their daughter in Singapore and Mr. Qiu joined them during the 1999 New Year. It was the last New Year the couple would spend together for seven years.

When Mr. Qiu returned from his visit, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began its campaign to vilify and persecute Falun Gong. At around 7:00 p.m. on July 22, several practitioners arrived at the entrance to Mr. Qiu's apartment house to study the Fa. The security guard at the front door called him on the phone and said, "There are several Falun Gong practitioners who want to come up. We have received orders that they are not allowed in." Mr. Qiu went to the front door to meet his fellow practitioners and took them to the side entrance. Returning to his apartment he found several policemen searching his house without any documentation. The police took him to the police station and placed him in solitary confinement for about twenty four hours.

On July 23, shortly after he returned home, several policemen from the local police station took him to the police station again. Guan Yijie, the deputy secretary of the Political Legal Committee from the Dazhong Daily Office, came to the station along with Zhang Huisheng, the director of the Police station, deputy director Guo Junping, instructor Wang Ligang, and policeman Yang Jiazhong to escort Mr. Qiu back to his home, which they raided. They turned everything upside down and took all the Dafa books, the TV, VCR and bankbooks. They took Mr. Qiu back to the police station for another twenty four hours.

Mr. Qiu clarified the truth of Falun Gong with his personal story, telling about his enormous improvements in body and mind after he started practicing. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and went to Tiananmen Square to tell people, "Falun Dafa is good."

Because he insisted on cultivation and clarifying the truth, the police raided his home six times. He was fined and they confiscated total of 10,000 yuan. When he went to Beijing to clarify the truth in October 2000, he was arrested. The police from Shandong Province took him back to Ji'nan Police Station. He was brutally tortured by being shocked with an electric baton for one and one-half hours.

He was transferred to the security department of the newspaper office and was watched by the guards. Ten days later he was notified that he was sentenced to three years of forced labor. There were no lawful procedures followed whatsoever. The only crime he committed was that he continued to practice Falun Gong and tell people that Falun Dafa is good.

Mr. Qiu Zhaojin was held in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province. This labor camp was for Falun Dafa practitioners only. There were over 700 practitioners in the camp. He suffered all sorts of tortures and brainwashing for two straight months.

One torture method is forcing practitioners to sit on a small bench only several centimeters high from five in the morning until eleven at night. One day of sitting is enough to break the skin of their bottoms. One nineteen year-old practitioner had to use thick sanitary pads to cover his bottom before he went to bed every night and the paper was soaked with blood when he woke up the next day. Mr. Qiu was forced to sit for over one week. Some practitioners were forced to sit for over two months.

Mr. Qiu endured another torture called "facing the wall." The victim's toes and chin much touch the wall and he has to stand straight for several hours to several days. The other torture was being shocked with up to eight electronic batons at the same time.

Five times daily the practitioners were forced to sing songs eulogizing the CCP. They were forced to watch programs on TV that slandered Falun Dafa. They were deprived of sleep, and the guards often took away their after 11:00 p.m. permission to "talk."

The labor camp tried everything they could think of to "transform" practitioners and force them to write the three statements.

After two months those practitioners not "transformed" were sent back to local labor camps. Mr. Qiu was sent to Liuchangshan Forced Labor Camp in Ji'nan to begin his long-term forced hard labor.

There were three hard labors that he can never forget. One was working in a machine factory across from the labor camp, polishing the rusted machinery. They were forced to work over twelve hours per day in a filthy environment without any protection. The second was packing disposable chopsticks. Each person had to pack 1,000 pairs of chopsticks each day. If the person could not finish the assignment he had to work extended hours or even have his sentence extended to make it up. The third job was making two hundred plastic flowers per day.

None of their hard labor was compensated. Food consisted of moldy black buns and cabbage boiled in water. No cooking oil or protein was used.

In January 2002, at the age of 59, Mr. Qiu's health was destroyed after long-term hard labor. He developed a daily high fever, asthma, fluid in his chest, congestive heart failure, pleurisy, hypertension, and diabetes.

In August 2002, Mr. Qiu's health was in critical condition. The labor camp asked Mr. Qiu for 20,000 yuan in order to send him to the hospital in the labor camp. He did not have any money, plus the hospital was also a place persecute practitioners.

The labor camp suddenly ordered Mr. Qiu to go to the Tuberculosis Hospital in Ji'nan for examination. The results indicated that his illness was beyond treatment. On September 18, 2002, Mr. Qiu was released to seek medical attention.

His wife, Wang Yanying, told the reporter that when her husband was in the labor camp, they were only allowed one phone call every one to two months. The phone was tapped and they could not say much.

"When I talked to the administrator from his workplace one time, he said that Mr. Qiu had lost a lot of weight, and I was alarmed."

Ms. Wang Yanying had already immigrated to Canada by this time. She found the Falun Dafa Association and started a campaign to rescue Mr. Qiu and several other practitioners in China. Falun Dafa practitioners went to the streets, collected signatures, held news conferences, clarified the truth to the members of the legislature and government officials, and asked for help from the Canadian Government. The rescue effort helped Mr. Qiu at a critical moment in his life.

When Mr. Qiu was released, his weight was only 35 kilograms (68 pounds) on his 1.7 meter (five-foot-two-inch) frame. The administrator, security guard, and clinic staff from his workplace came to visit him and brought him a bag of medicine. The authorities monitored his daily life and activities.

Mr. Qiu did not care about the "death sentence" from the hospital or the medicine prepared for him. He began studying the Fa and practicing the exercises right away. After ten days, most of his symptoms subsided, and by one month later he had regained his health.

The administrator from his workplace witnessed the change, and his unsympathetic attitude became polite. When Mr. Qiu applied for a passport, the personnel office would not sign the document. His administrator later asked someone else to sign the document.

Ms. Wang Yanying said, "My husband loves to do the exercises. When he was in the forced labor camp he was not allowed to do the exercises. I knew this and could not hold back my tears whenever I did the exercises."

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners you have been working hard! Your telephone calls have greatly shaken the evil who dare to do harm to Falun Dafa. Every sentence said in your telephone calls is disintegrating the evil behind those evildoers, and eliminating the surface dimension's viciousness of these scoundrels. Your calls have made the evil dare not do whatever they want, and have helped to strongly support detained Falun Dafa practitioners.

According to one family member of a detained Falun Dafa practitioner, he was cursed and kicked out by the State Security Division head the first time he requested the release of his family member. The second time he was treated much better.The third time the division head tried to find excuses for the detention of his family member, because local police departments have received so many telephone calls from overseas practitioners, which powerfully stopped the policemen from committing more crimes, and also enabled many people to learn the truth. People with a conscience fear being exposed and this can stop the evildoers from doing more bad deeds.

We suggest that local practitioners put an emphasis on exposing local persecution cases, in addition to collecting persecution facts and sending them to our website, and sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil and strengthen our fellow practitioners who are detained. We need to let local people truly know the evil crimes done to local practitioners. All people with any conscience would condemn these evil deeds upon learning the truth.

We hope that all practitioners will begin writing down the persecution facts related to themselves, and not just limit it to arrest, detention, forced labor, or prison sentence. We also need to expose cases of harassment, especially during holidays and sensitive dates, and other persecution facts that need to be exposed.

The purpose of exposing the evil is to stop further crimes, and save sentient beings. We hope practitioners will be able to produce more truth-clarification materials targeting local persecution facts to further expose the evil, and save more sentient beings.

(Clearwisdom.net) I obtained the Fa in 1995. At the time, I was on maternity leave and went back to my parents' home. Two weeks later, my husband came to visit us. I noticed that he looked very good. He told me that it was because he had practiced Falun Gong, and that Falun Gong taught Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. At that time, I felt that this practice was a very good one. I decided that I would practice it when the baby got older. After I returned to my own home, I also listened when my husband listened to the Fa. Later, he taught me the exercises. I could feel the warmth in my palms and my body while practicing. I thought to myself, "Why should I wait? I should begin the practice now."

Therefore, I began my journey of cultivation. Just like what Teacher said, after I studied the Fa, my entire outlook on life changed fundamentally. I began to truly understand that the purpose of a human coming to this world was to return to one's true self. Since both of us practiced Falun Gong, our family was in harmony. We worked diligently and received praise from other family members on both sides, along with co-workers and neighbors.

However, after the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) destroyed our beautiful life. We went to Beijing to appeal to the government by clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. We were then taken back to our hometown by force. We were not allowed to go to work and were forced to attend the brainwashing classes and write the three statements. We were monitored around the clock in order to prevent us from going to Beijing to appeal again. Lawless people constantly called our home at night and severely disturbed our normal daily life. In that evil environment, I was lost and did not know what to do. Later, after I calmed down and studied the Fa, and gradually managed to have a clear mind, I decided that I wanted to stand up and clarify the truth for Dafa and let ordinary people know the truth about Dafa.

At the beginning, I distributed truth-clarifying materials to residents in the small community where I lived. In September 2000, I made copies of some truth clarifying materials and went to the market to distribute them. At that time, when I first began to step forward to do something to validate Dafa, I was not that stable in my mindset. After Fa study, I became more and more stable in my heart. I then began to clarify the truth about Dafa to my other family members, classmates, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and passersby, etc.

Once a leader from my work unit found me and said, "I am sorry. I want to tell you one thing." He fished out a piece of paper that read, "Whoever reports will be rewarded" The main content on that piece of paper was, "If you find Falun Gong practitioners distributing truth-clarifying materials, report them. Each person who reports the event will receive a certain amount of money each time." That leader warned me repeatedly that his leaders wanted him to make sure to let me know. At that time I was not afraid at all. I thought to myself, "Before I did not have a good chance to talk to him. Now he came to see me. Isn't that a very good chance for me to tell the truth to him?" Therefore, I asked him, "Do you know about Falun Gong?" He said he didn't know too much. I began to tell him how our Teacher requires us to treat our job, and how to handle a conflict, etc. That leader attentively listened to me and raised some questions now and then, such as about the broadcasts on national TV, the fabricated stories about the Tiananmen Self-Immolation, homicide, etc. I patiently explained the truth to him. Finally he said he understood now and told me to practice at home if I felt it was good. He told me not to go to Beijing to appeal and not to distribute truth-clarifying materials. Otherwise, we would all be in trouble. I told him I knew what I should do and that Dafa practitioners could only bring blessings to their work unit. I remembered Teacher's Fa in my heart:

Since then, that leader has not come to talk to me about my practicing Falun Gong. Because that leader had righteous thoughts towards Dafa, later he was blessed and was accepted by Tsinghua University for graduate studies.

Along with the speedy Fa validation process, clarifying the truth to ordinary people became an urgent task. Sometimes I wondered how to clarify the truth to my former classmates. When I had that thought, I didn't realize that the chances would come. One day in April 2004, I received a phone call from one of my former middle school classmates who told me that there was a gathering to celebrate our twenty-year reunion. I immediately expressed that I would like to participate. Nothing is accidental. Therefore, I began to prepare a truth-clarifying CD called "Traveling Heaven and Earth through Wind and Rain" for each classmate and teacher. In the meantime I asked my fellow practitioners to help me send forth righteous thoughts in order to make things go smoothly so that every classmate would accept the CD and be saved. On the day of the gathering, I expressed my wish to each classmate and teacher, "I care about each one of you sitting here and I sincerely wish all of you have a beautiful future. Therefore, I prepared a gift for each one and hope this gift will bring you and your family my sincere wish." A teacher asked me the content of the CD and I told him that it was about the truth of Falun Gong. One classmate immediately said that was a personal belief and said he understood that it was wrongfully persecuted. Therefore, everyone was happy to receive the CD. The entire gathering was very harmonious.

After the gathering of my middle school classmates was the August gathering from the Skilled School. I prepared the same gifts. Since everything went pretty well last time, I thought that this time there should also be no problem. Because of the attachment of complacency, interference came immediately. One of my previous classmates even prevented me from distributing the truth-clarifying CD's. I knew it was interference. Therefore, I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors behind him and then told him, "You should not behave like that. You cannot stop me. I only have one wish, which is to let everyone sitting here know the truth about Falun Gong and have a beautiful future." With that righteous thought, I gave the truth-clarifying CD's to everyone who wanted to accept them. Only a few people did not want the CD.

After two classmates' gatherings, I realized that I should not have any attachments when validating the Fa. Just as Teacher said,

When the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published, I first thought that it had nothing to do with me since I was not a member of the CCP. After Teacher published the article "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World," I began to realize that the Youth League and Young Pioneers were also organizations of the CCP. Therefore, I immediately declared my resignation from all CCP organizations. In the meantime, I exchanged my understandings with other fellow practitioners and clarified some hazy understandings. We also reached the same understanding on how to ask ordinary people to quickly break away from the CCP organizations. We thought we should start doing this ourselves and then gradually expand the scope. At first, there were a lot of mental obstacles and we were afraid of others saying that we were getting political. After further Fa study, we corrected our erroneous concept. During that process, some people resigned from the CCP organization once we explained the reason for doing so. Some people would try several times. However, no matter how difficult the process was, I held a mindset that we must let everyday people see what the evil CCP is and tell them what its fate is, and why people should break away from it. The process of truth clarification is also validating the Fa and improving our understanding. Whenever I encountered some obstacles in my truth clarifying activities, I would first look inward to find out what kind of mindset would cause that. Then I would think about how to do it in the correct way.

We should pay special attention to sending forth righteous thoughts. In 2003, when I heard the news that we should send forth righteous thoughts around the clock on July 20, I thought to myself, "Do not go to bed the entire night? What should I do if I cannot hold my palm erect because of sleepiness? I should take a nap after lunch." Since I had that bad thought, I encountered interference immediately. I became muddle headed and did not have a good effect when I sent forth righteous thoughts. Since I did not recognize it as interference, I suddenly felt like throwing up after 11:00 p.m. at night. I got up and used the bathroom and could not settle my stomach. All I vomited was blood. At that moment, I was shocked and wondered why that could happen. "I am a cultivator so why would that symptom appear?" I immediately denied it when the wrong thought came. During my years of cultivation I have felt that Teacher has been looking after me every minute. Therefore, I sent forth righteous thoughts at once to get rid of those dark minions and rotten demons that were interfering with me and completely opposed the arrangement of the old forces. In the meantime, I studied Teacher's Lectures in the United States about illness karma. Thus, by sending forth righteous thoughts at the top of every hour, and insisting on studying the Fa until daybreak, the interference was quickly eliminated.

The following day, I earnestly watched Teacher's first three Dalian lectures on video. On the third day, a fellow practitioner who I had not seen for a long time came to my home. She said that she hadn't been able to eat anything for a long time. She was worried and could not bear it any longer. At that time her family members were planning to take her to the hospital. She asked our suggestions on what to do next. I then told her about my recent hardship and how I passed it. I suggested that we send forth righteous thoughts and eliminate the interference from the old forces. It was difficult to completely deny the old forces. I suggested that in the meantime, we should strengthen our Fa study and do the three things well. We should not hold our previous mindsets of staying at home and cultivating ourselves. We should step out and clarify the truth to everyday people. We should believe in our Teacher and Dafa. Nothing bad will happen to us. After talking to her we watched lecture four of Teacher's Dalian lectures. I do not know whether it was coincidence or if it was Teacher's special arrangement, but all of her questions were answered while watching the lecture. Later she came to visit me several times and she completely recovered and also corrected her cultivation state.

During these years of cultivation, I have encountered many difficulties and hardships. I always remember one thing: If I fell down, I would get up again and continue walking forward. If it was not for Teacher's mercy saving us, I don't know if I would have made it this far. Besides what I have shared, I have quite a lot of experiences, but I cannot express all of them at one time. In the process of walking my cultivation path, I still have a lot of shortcomings. For example, recently I fell into laziness. After reading Teacher's articles "A Will That Ebbs Not" and "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be" I began to think deeply and realized that I must take a more straight way on my cultivation path. We should calmly study the Fa and look inward, work with other fellow practitioners and step forward together. Teacher is our guidance. Each of Teacher's articles was published to prevent us from taking a side path. By walking only our Dafa path, we can reach the shore of happiness.

(Clearwisdom.net) A practitioner who seldom came to Fa study showed up at a recent group study. He told us, "Practitioner A has gone out of the city to run some errands. He was responsible for downloading Minghui Weekly from the internet. I do not know how to download, thus I would like to request you all to help."

Later I reminded this practitioner that he should pay attention to cultivation of speech. As he accidentally told us what practitioner A was responsible for, it was not good for practitioner A's safety. However he disagreed, "We should have trust amongst practitioners." During our conversation, he revealed that he was involved in the typesetting of the book Zhuan Falun. Once again, he "accidentally" told us the things he was responsible for.

With respect to this, I expressed my viewpoint that there was no need for him to let us know these things. But he said, "I do not tell just anyone, I only tell people that I trust."

This kind of understanding is perhaps shared by a handful of practitioners, and I feet that this is a result of not understanding the Fa clearly:

Master had stressed the importance of safety many times, thus the issue of safety is a requirement of the Fa. We can only follow the requirements of the Fa. We cannot say that today we feel very safe, and thus not pay attention to safety issues, then tomorrow we feel not so safe and then we start paying attention. Or that "I feel that this person has cultivated well," "The person is very strong-willed, even if he gets into trouble, he will not disclose what he knows about me..." We cannot use such superficial feelings to judge whether we disclose things or not. We should see things from the standpoint of the Fa and use the Fa as the standard. Things that should not be said, should not said to anyone, at any time.

(Clearwisdom.net) Respectful Teacher, fellow practitioners. Today I would like to share with you my recent cultivation experience. If you find any shortcomings, please correct them for me with compassion.

I have always believed that every day I spent the entire 24-hours with a dense and tight schedule. An article written by a practitioner from Mainland China was published on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) on January 17. In the article, she mentioned her daily schedule, which made me aware of the gap between diligent practitioners and me. Her schedule is: from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., five sets of exercises, including sending forth righteous thoughts at the top of each hour and reciting Hong Yin, Hong Yin II, and Lunyu. She washes her face and prepares breakfast after sending forth righteous thoughts at 7:00 a.m. During breakfast she recites the Fa. Afterwards, she settles down and studies the Fa from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. First she reads Teacher's new articles, then three lectures of Zhuan Falun. In the afternoon she prints and prepares truth-clarification materials. She goes out to clarify the truth in the evening, then she comes back home to read Minghui Weekly.

In the past year I have indulged in such a despondent state several times. Many other practitioners also felt indulged in the state of despondence and couldn't help it. In fact, Teacher pointed out,

It is obvious that the only way to change the state of being despondent is to make best use of time to study Fa. In "Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Canada Fa Conference," Teacher said,

In Falun Buddha Fa -- Lecture at the Conference in New Zealand (1999), Teacher says,

In the lectures around the world during the past ten years, Teacher has been encouraging us to study Fa and to study Fa well, while to my shamefulness, I didn't attach importance to it. I feel unworthy of Teacher's benevolence and salvation.

What we practice is Falun Gong. In Lecture one of Zhuan Falun, Teacher mentions,

In Lecture three of Zhuan Falun, Teacher mentions the energy field of righteous cultivation by saying, "It can rectify this abnormal state." I felt that being despondent is a state of abnormality, and it shouldn't be manifested in Dafa disciples. If we can study Fa steadily and assimilate to Dafa, the mechanism of Falun's rotating constantly can rectify such an abnormal cultivation state of being despondent. For myself, the state of being despondent is manifested in the following aspects:

I fortunately obtained Dafa in 1999 and was attracted by its profound and boundless meanings. I made great efforts to study the Fa and practiced the exercises seriously. I started my journey of cultivation from being a good person to being a practitioner by following what our Teacher teaches us. At the initial stage of learning the tranquil cultivation exercise, I couldn't sit with both legs crossed. To prolong the time of sitting, I sat with both legs crossed while studying Fa or watching a video of Fa lectures. I maintained a noble posture, as if the Teacher was teaching the Fa in front of me, and I listened to the Teacher respectfully. However, I have slacked off during the last two years. What I persisted in was only the form of Fa study. The fact that I no longer sat with both legs crossed while studying the Fa indicates that my heart of respectfulness to the Fa has been lessening. I was busy with many Dafa activities and couldn't calm down to read the Fa. Since my heart of studying the Fa gradually loosened, how could the meaning of Fa appear to me?

Recently I encountered a "bottle neck" while studying the Fa. After looking inside, I found that the reason that I couldn't study the Fa in a tranquil state is that the long duration of cultivation made me attached to the form of studying the Fa. The attachment of pursuing the meaning is mixed with Fa study. I self-contently believed that I had been very familiar with the book because I could easily locate specific passages in the book. In fact, it is because I treated Dafa from an ordinary people's point of view. Now I remind myself to "go back to zero" while I study the Fa. That is, to regard it as if I was reading the book for the first time. After doing this, I felt that there were really bright flowers and another village ahead. My heart felt much more assured.

At the initial stage of learning to sit in meditation with both legs crossed, I suffered a lot. In the first several months, I could only persist thirty to forty minutes. I then committed my mind to cultivate the tranquil exercise by binding my legs with belts, thus forcing myself to persist for one hour. For the first three days, the pain was unbearable, and then gradually I no longer had much pain. I removed the belts one year after I obtained the Fa. On one lunar New Year, I tried to sit for one hour and a half. Near the end I could hardly bear the pain. While in extreme pain, I opened my eyes and saw the bright moon and numerous stars in the sky. I thought, "If I couldn't even bear such little pain, how can I go on with my cultivation?" By reciting the sentence, "When it's difficult to endure, you can endure it. When it's impossible to do, you can do it." (Zhuan Falun) I endured. During the preceding years, I persisted in practicing the five sets of exercises every day. However, I didn't make progress, but rather, I went backward and slacked off during the past couple of years.

I often gave myself an excuse for not going to the practice site. The excuse was that I was busy clarifying the truth until late the night before. Gradually, not going to the practice site in the early morning became my common state. In fact, I used Dafa to cover my attachment of seeking coziness. I was busy every day, but my spiritual state couldn't compare with before because I neglected practicing. Clarifying the truth without having practiced is just like what is said about Bigu (fasting) in Zhuan Falun,

Once in a group Fa study, a fellow practitioner mentioned an old man over eighty years old who still persisted in practicing at the practice site every day even when he was busy after the death of his son. I was ashamed of myself after hearing this and felt my obvious shortcomings. That older fellow practitioner not only showed his firm belief in Teacher, but also showed his will to be strict with himself and responsible to his cultivation. In order to catch up as soon as possible, I've resumed practicing at the practice site every day. As a result, my state improved a lot.

In the past years I would rarely miss the four set times of sending forth righteous thoughts, however beginning last year I occasionally missed practicing in early morning because of my desire to sleep, so I missed the time for sending forth righteous thoughts together with fellow practitioners all over the world. What's even worse, this state persisted day after day. Just like Teacher said about the demon of lust in Zhuan Falun:

The result of not attaching importance to sending forth righteous thoughts meant that I was absent again and again at the critical moments when Dafa disciples all over the world were using this magic weapon to eliminate the evil.

Additionally, I spent a long time on the computer dealing with Dafa work and clarifying the truth. As soon as the time of sending forth righteous thoughts came, especially five minutes before the time, I couldn't give up my work at hand. In "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005 (Q&A portion)," the Teacher says,

My current feeling is that the environment is very important. Don't study Fa or send forth righteous thoughts in front of the computer, the telephone or the cell phone, as you may be distracted from your mind-intent focus.

In the past I actively participated in various group Fa study sessions and enjoyed earnestly discussing with fellow practitioners. Gradually I didn't want to participate in the group Fa study day after day. Going to group Fa study comes from only one pure wish - "I want to go," however, there are hundreds of excuses for not going, such as heavy rain, long distance, no time, no gain, few people, too dull, too many reports, or too little sharing. I always tried to find an excuse to cover my strong attachment of not going to the group Fa study. In digging down further, I found that this attachment came from several issues: reluctance to hear suggestions and criticism, reluctance to earnestly face my own shortcomings, being disappointed at some practitioners who don't come out, feeling helpless in pushing forward detailed projects, etc. Thus, I didn't cherish the cultivation environment and locked myself in an "ivory tower."

The lack of discussion with fellow practitioners for a long time as well as the heavy burden of many Dafa tasks gradually enlarged the gulf between other fellow practitioners and me. Jealously and suspicion replaced trust. Complaints and blame took the place of encouragement and concern. I could only see the shortcomings of others. I was arrogant and reluctant to give in. After falling into such a bad state and being accustomed to it, the work of cooperating and coordinating was no longer smooth. Nobody corrected me - even when I understood the Fa wrongly and did wrong deeds. I was gradually falling further and further away from the others levels. I didn't even notice that my xinxing was degrading constantly. Fortunately I turned back in time and I was not lagging behind for too long.

Long-term despondency will make people become foggy headed, so how does one become diligent again and come back to the correct cultivation state?

Just as tranquil cultivation exercise requires one to enter into tranquility, not merely sit with both legs crossed, Dafa work is xinxing cultivation, not simply doing things. There are many projects of validating Dafa. Every practitioner has many things to do. The process of doing the tasks actually is the process of testing the xinxing of practitioners. Can you look inside your heart in a disagreement? Can you give up your personal opinion and listen to fellow practitioners? Did you cultivate your benevolence and take salvation of sentient beings as your primary thought? During the past six years, it seemed that I did a lot of things to clarify the truth. But while thinking carefully, I found that my xinxing upgrade was limited. I did much, but cultivated little, which is far away from what Dafa requires of us. Teacher said,

Slacking off from time to time is the seedbed of despondence. Whenever I read "Constantly cultivate xinxing" in the poem "Genuine Cultivation," (Hong Yin) the first word that went into my eyes was "constantly." In Zhuan Falun, I saw the word "constantly" in the sentence, "To tell you the truth, the entire cultivation process for a practitioner is one of constantly giving up human attachments." I noticed the word "truly" in the sentence, "...truly regard yourself as a practitioner." I felt that "constantly" and "truly" are the most fundamental requirements for diligence, which reminds me of the importance of perseverance and persistence in cultivation.

We say "fellow practitioners," and just as its name implies, it means practicing together. Many practitioners were interfered with by illness karma or were indulged in despondence. One of the reasons is that the fellow practitioners around them didn't offer help in time. As to the fellow practitioners' illness karma interference, I could speak with fervor and assurance from Fa-principles, however, my tone and compassion was not enough, so no benevolence of considering others could be manifested, only indifference, like watching the fire on the other side of the river. In fact, when an individual is in the state of being astray and helpless, the concern and encouragement or righteous thoughts support from surrounding practitioners can help him out of that state, and thus help him eliminate the difficulties more quickly. Dafa disciples are one body and every disciple is like a particle, so if an individual particle is not pure and has a loophole, the overall strength will be weakened. The whole body can be indestructible only if the particles support and complement each other.

Let's mutually encourage each other with a paragraph of Fa in "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005,"

Here I would like to share some of my cultivation experiences during the past six months. I want to share, not because of how well I did during this period of time, because actually I did very poorly. I want to share because I witnessed Teacher's great benevolence, Dafa's great power, and fellow practitioners' great compassion. Some of my very basic attachments were revealed. I want to share with you about these attachments. By doing so, I hope to eliminate them as soon as possible.

Many practitioners in the US West region know that a San Diego practitioner was involved in a car accident last summer. I am that practitioner. In August of last year, a drunk driver hit me on the driver's side. I passed out right away. My wife, who is also a practitioner, was sitting next to me and fortunately wasn't hurt badly. The car was severely damaged. After inspecting the damage, the tow-truck driver asked, "Are there any survivors?" Well, thanks to Teacher, both of us survived, and both are present here today.

I was sent to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the hospital. There were quite a few fractures in my spine and pelvis, together with broken five ribs, many bleeding organs, a badly injured kidney, and a collapsed lung. My wife told me afterwards that there were all kinds of tubes in my body. I still have some dim memory of the medical staff doing first aid on me. In that dim memory, I was murmuring "Shifu (Teacher)."

After hearing the news, my fellow practitioners were very concerned. Many of them came to the hospital at their earliest availability. Normally the ICU only allows a couple of family members to enter. With so many practitioners coming to see me, the hospital eventually allowed in more than a dozen of them. Thus, the ICU witnessed a scene that had never occurred there before. Over a dozen non-family-members squeezed into a small unit, and they were sending forth righteous thoughts for me.

One night my injuries got really serious and some nurses even thought that I might not make it. However, with Teacher's compassion and fellow practitioners' righteous support, I made it. My wife kept playing the music "Pudu" in the unit, which always could calm me down from anxiety and restlessness. Many nurses commented that they had never heard anything so beautiful and calming, and this is Dafa's power!

After the accident, all the practitioners were looking inside. They realized that besides my own attachments, this was mostly interference from the old forces. We just had a first meeting about how to promote the first Chinese New Year Gala in San Diego. It's a big project, involving lots of manpower. San Diego doesn't have many practitioners, so every one of us had to take on lots of responsibilities. This accident directly took away two active practitioners, me and my wife, but also took away lots of fellow practitioners' time.

However, the mighty current of Fa-rectification cannot be stopped or postponed. The fellow practitioners used their righteous thoughts to negate all the old forces' arrangements, continued all the projects as planned, and at the same time arranged time to come see me. I stayed in ICU for eleven days. I lost most memory of what happened there. But I still remember all the warm faces before my eyes and all the encouraging words by my ears. With help from Teacher and all the fellow practitioners, I recovered very quickly, at a speed that amazed all the doctors and nurses. Fellow practitioners didn't miss the chance to introduce Dafa to them, and they were very much impressed. I was transferred out of the ICU and released from the hospital three days later.

After getting back home, I had great mental pressure and many human notions surfacing. Teacher's picture hangs on the wall, but I didn't dare to look at it. When I read the Fa, I always skipped over the page with Teacher's photo. I felt that I didn't deserve being a Dafa disciple, that this accident happened mostly because of my huge attachments, and that I caused great loss to San Diego's Fa-rectification projects. Fellow practitioners always brought me exciting news when they dropped by, such as attending another great parade, holding another great event, and so on and so forth. I could see that they were busy with different projects. But I just couldn't get out of bed, and my wife stayed indoors most of the time taking care of me. I couldn't get much rest at night because of the pain. I got anxious again, and my demon nature took advantage of it. A lot of xinxing conflicts occurred between me and my wife.

Because of the fast recovery in the beginning, I hoped for a miracle for myself, that I would totally recover in just a few days. I thought about it so much that it became a strong attachment of pursuit. One week passed, then another, and another. It didn't happen. Then the pursuit changed to lots of worry. The fellow practitioners observed all of this and took time to share their thoughts with me, trying to rectify my way of thinking, urging me to have faith in Teacher and the Fa, and to read more. At the same time, my wife challenged my requests based on human notions, such as requests for pain killers when I couldn't endure the pain. She treated me as a fellow practitioner and always tried to share with me her understanding upon the Fa, and she pointed out my human notions.

I began to think about why this happened. Looking inward brought me great anguish. I knew clearly that there must be a big loophole in my xinxing. But I just didn't want to accept, face, or touch it. Finally I found my biggest problem, which is the problem of "selfishness." I got involved in many Dafa projects before the accident, and fostered selfishness in my Dafa work. I looked at myself as being very important to San Diego's Dafa projects and often behaved in a very self-centered manner. Actually I was not trying to validate the Fa, but rather to validate myself. Also, I had strong attachments of enjoyment. Just days before the accident, I was thinking about driving to the mountains to enjoy myself, totally forgetting that every minute now is precious time that should be used to save sentient beings. Of course I still have many other attachments.

There is one thing that I want to share with you, which displayed the great power of the Fa. One morning, I was reading the Fa, when I felt cold. My wife covered me up with a couple of blankets, but they didn't help much. I began to shiver more and more. I slept for a while but I awoke sweating all over. I changed clothes twice, but twice the clothes were soaked in just a short while. My wife helped me to sit up. I felt like I was losing control of my body, and panted terribly. My conscience seemed to be detached from me. Everything began to feel like I was dreaming. I just couldn't send forth strong righteous thoughts. I really didn't know what to do, and even thought, "I don't want to die like this!" My wife also worried a lot and almost called for an ambulance. Suddenly she remembered something and shouted at me, "Let's recite 'Lunyu' together!" During the recitation, I began to feel everything become real to me again. My breathing calmed down, together with my heart. I couldn't hold my tears after finishing Lunyu. Teacher helped me to break through another pass.

Slowly my injuries began to heal. But the recovery slowed down. The main reason is that as the pain lessened and sleep improved, my deep-rooted pursuit of comfort and ease came up again. My righteous thoughts were not as strong. I didn't treat myself strictly like a practitioner, but tried to find excuses for myself, like an ordinary person, in things like not sleeping well for almost two months, getting tired easily, pains all over the body and the need for rest. Accordingly the Fa's power didn't display as greatly. I could seldom see much improvement in the recovery for several weeks. Sometimes it even got worse.

Our compassionate Teacher doesn't want to leave behind any disciple, even disciples as bad as me. A new article was published at the time, "The closer to the end, the more diligent you should be." It struck me like a hammer. Teacher said,

As a Dafa disciple, the only hope for people to be saved, I cannot slacken like this. The pursuit to comfort was still very strong. But I could feel that it weakened a little whenever I read this scripture.

However the pursuit was really hard like granite. I got despondent again after a period of time. Then the Fahui in San Francisco took place and Teacher came to speak. He mentioned multiple times the issue of laziness and how to regard different practitioners' karma. Dafa is all harmonizing, encompassing everything and leaving out nothing. Teacher explained all the questions in my mind, and offered me great encouragement. I regained some energy and stood up. I began to walk with a walker and later switched to a cane.

Many practitioners told me that we must upgrade in a thorough manner. We can only elevate if we do the three things well. I had already started reading the Fa and sending forth righteous thoughts, but I wasn't taking part in any truth clarification projects. The opportunities were very soon to come.

As Christmas approached, we needed to visit the advertising clients of the Epoch Times. I have many clients under my account and other people were all busy with other projects, so I decided to take that responsibility. My wife worried about my health and my driving a lot, but I believed that with righteous thoughts, I would have no problem in doing Dafa projects, as Teacher would protect me and righteous gods would support me. It was quite a miracle. At that time my right foot often had spasms and numbness. But this never occurred while I was driving.

After the New Year, everyone was busy working on the promotion and preparation for the gala. We were really running short of hands. Seeing others getting so busy and thinking about all the people who need to be saved, I couldn't stay outside any longer. I couldn't lose this precious cultivation opportunity just because I didn't feel comfortable. Dafa disciples are the only hope for the people to be saved. At the last and most crucial moment of the great batter between good and evil, at the moment of numerous sentient beings facing the danger of being wiped out, I cannot leave myself deep sorrows in the future just because I wanted to be comfortable.

I began to volunteer for light work duties, such as doing Chinese calligraphy in gala-promotion booths. My attachments were still striking me hard. I was very reluctant to go pass out flyers, with the excuse that I couldn't stand very long. Nonetheless I felt more energetic every time after I participated in an activity. Soon afterwards I quit using the walking cane.

I still got tired easily. But as I began to be involved in Dafa work, after several months I felt like a real practitioner again. The great torrent of Fa-rectification pushes us forward. The gala gave me a good opportunity to speed up my recovery. Many people said that I looked better every day. Now the gala gained great success, and I regained my energy. I'm a Dafa disciple again!

There are still many attachments that I have to deal with. But after this test of life and death, I will not lose this great opportunity to cultivate in the Fa-rectification period, and try to be worthy of the title of "Dafa disciple," a title that shines throughout the whole universe.

(Clearwisdom.net) Ancient Chinese people emphasized how to sit properly because it is an important part of good manners. There were three main postures before chairs were commonly used. The Fu position was sitting cross-legged. Similar to the lotus position in Buddhism, it is also called Jiafu. In the Qiju position both legs extend straight forward in front of the body like a dustpan. The Ji posture requires sitting on one's knees with the buttocks resting on one's lower legs and feet. When there were no guests present, people could sit casually in the Fu and Qiju positions, but if one was talking to a respected older person, talking to friends, talking about important issues, eating at dinner parties or banquets, or treating guests, one had to use the Ji posture.

Many records in ancient Chinese teachings mention sitting positions. In the Xihan Dynasty (207 B.C. to 25 A.D.), the two noblemen Song Zhong and Jia Yi were listening to a prophet explaining his prophecies. He was very knowledgeable, talked about things very rationally and convincingly, and made these two noblemen instantly feel respect. They immediately straightened their clothes and sat up straight to pay their respect to this prophet.

In Chinese history, the emperor and his helpers were all very careful to pay attention to their virtue and manners. Even in daily life they had to discipline their own words and actions. Mr. Tao Kan, a famous courtier during the Dongjin Dynasty (317-420), followed the principle of "Even when it is leisure time, still sit straight." Mr. Sima Guang (1019-1086) during the Song Dynasty (960-1279) always sat straight with a solemn altitude in his daily routine. The great Emperor Kangxi (1654-1722) in the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912) was good both at managing the country and fighting on the battlefields. He was very grand, and he always sat on the dragon throne very straight, looking down at sentient beings. He had cultivated this strict style for a long time. He recalled his childhood by saying, "Eating, moving, and speaking were all regulated. Although I always lived alone, I still dared not to go overboard." After he became the Emperor, he always sat straight in discussions with his courtiers, when studying in the palace study, and even while chatting and laughing with his family. His manner was established in early childhood, and he observed strict self-discipline during his daily life.
