Story of a New Practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I started cultivating in Dafa in 2000. Before I obtained Dafa I had tried to find a righteous cultivation school in many types of Qigong, but all of them left me feeling disappointed. In those Qigong groups, every person was trying to outwit the other. They even cheated in financial transactions and lusted after other people. When I became aware of this, I lost confidence in Qigong altogether and gave up looking for a righteous cultivation school.

One day in the summer of 1999, in the housing community where I live, the evil Communist Party's CCTV was there, making video recordings and interviewing people. When I looked, I saw that the person they were interviewing was He Zuoxiu.

Many people who live in our area despise He Zuoxiu. Though I did not know what kind of things they were talking about, I felt so annoyed. I intentionally ran through there and shoved He Zuoxiu, and said, "Don't block the way." Because of me, their interview stopped. They looked at me unhappily. I did not pay any attention to them.

After a while I saw the interview on TV. It was slandering Falun Gong. I started to think: "There must be something special about Falun Gong for these people to attack Falun Gong so fiercely." I was quite aware of how lively He Zuoxiu was in the evil Communist Party's movement of wreaking havoc among the people in the past years. Since then I had a thought: "I want to find a Falun Gong book to read."

In 2000, I traveled abroad with a group of people. I was with another person who works in the same field as I do and who is a Falun Gong practitioner. We opened up to each other and shared thoughts for a whole night. I regretted that I had not encountered Falun Gong earlier. Since then I started to cultivate in Falun Gong.

Because of my job, I had many opportunities to see the leader of the Communist Party and the country close-up. Once I saw Jiang Zemin only several meters away from me. I started to send forth righteous thoughts immediately. Shortly after, Jiang was moving uneasily in his chair. He looked so unwell. Some time later he suddenly perked up. Along his vision, I saw Song Zuying [a singer, rumored as one of Jiang's mistresses] appear. Once, I was only two meters from Jiang. I concentrated and sent forth righteous thoughts. Jiang then appeared panic-stricken.

In February 2006, I had a meal with several of Jiang's main former followers (who wrote articles for him). They spoke of feeling very worried about their futures. Nowadays, no one takes interests in Jiang. His followers have nothing to do. Some of them even have returned to their former work places. Leaders in these work places and their colleagues don't even treat them well. This makes them realize how one's status can quickly and radically change. I gave them the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and The Real Story of Jiang Zemin. After they finished reading, they asked me for more [copies and additional information]. When they asked if I practice Falun Gong, my response was ambiguous.

Several days ago, I saw He Zuoxiu again. He does not put on airs anymore. A friend said He Zuoxiu told her that he dares not mention the words "evil cult" any more.

Once, when I was waiting for others to meet Hu Jintao and have a photo taken with him, I put a copy of the Nine Commentaries under a seat mat and someone took it.

I have a wish: One day when CCTV is doing a live telecast, I want to walk up to Hu Jintao and ask him, "Falun Gong practitioners are calling to you and waiting for you so compassionately. Are you really so confused, or are you pretending?"
