I am an ordinary villager with not much education. On April 29, 1994, I was so lucky to have the opportunity to listen to Master's lectures, the most unforgettable and happiest occurence in my life. Master has changed my life.

I have always believed in Buddha. Years ago, my neighbor heard on his way back from replenishing his stock that there was a living Buddha in Changchun who was giving lectures and who was able to seize the illness out of the patient's body with his hand. I became very curious after he told me this, but I was still uncertain whether I should go or not. I sold fruit in my fruit stall. At that time, I had many kinds of fruit in stock. After I picked out the many bad pieces of fruit, I realized that, if I went to listen to the lectures by the living Buddha, wouldn't all the fruit would rot? Just then one of my relatives came to stop me from going and he said something very disgusting. What he said didn't stop me, though. On the contrary, I made up my mind to go and listen to the lectures. The next day, April 27, I loaded all the fruit into my vehicle. That day the weather was very bad. It was very windy, and there seemed to be very few pedestrians on the street. Up until noon, I thought I might not be able to sell enough. All of a sudden, a group of people surrounded my fruit stall, and bought all my stock. I did not know where they came from, but I was very happy. I did not realize it was Master's arrangement until I looked back at it today.

On April 28, I arrived at the train station early. Several of us went on the train to Changchun. The moment I got on the train, I started to worry since I always got motion sickness. This time, however, I did not feel sick at all. On the contrary, I felt very comfortable.

On April 29, we went to where the lectures would be held. My first sight of Master, I felt that Master was taller than anyone else. I did not understand what Master meant in his first lecture. After several days of lectures, I gradually understood what Master meant. On May 1, the organizer arranged to have photos taken with Master at to the students' request. Master agreed, and all the students stood ready and in order according to the areas where they came from. Master took photos with us, one group after another. After Master finished having photos taken with the students from our Harbin area, I still asked that Master have photos taken with the students from our Zhaozhou area. Now when I think of this, I am still regretful. Master was likely already tired, but I still went to request to have a separate photo taken with Master. I did not understand Master even a little bit. Now I regret so much what I did.

Ten lectures were finished within a short period of time, and I developed many new understandings. When Master was purifying students' bodies, I saw Master's hands emitting light, and I could not help shedding tears. I thought in my heart: "This is a genuine living Buddha."

Even when I look back now, I still feel that everything in the past is right in front of me. I really miss the days with Master. I will change this memory into a "motivating force" for me to do well the three things requested by Master and go home with Master in completing my cultivation.

I joined the Seventh Session of Falun Gong Lectures by Master in Changchun from April 29 to May 8, 1994. The location was the auditorium at Jilin University. I was so lucky to have listened to Master's lectures in person and also to have witnessed two things during the lectures that seemed to be ordinary.

The first thing happened in the morning on May 4. It was drizzling, and we came very early to the auditorium. Master arrived and said: "We will start to review the exercises we learned yesterday. We should wait a while, (since) the big bus from Heilongjiang had a problem on its way." We reviewed what we had learned the day before. My seat was close to the front door. All of a sudden, several people in a hurry came in the front door. One middle-aged woman said: "We are late. We are late," when she went past me. She still said this as she sat down. Someone sitting in the same row said: "Master knows your bus had a problem, and he has been waiting for you."

On another day, a man in his railway uniform rushed in. He was in his 50s. He ran forward with his palms pressed together and then ran backward. He ran immediately to where Master stood and kowtowed repeatedly to Master. He kept shedding tears and said he had suffered from a stroke. He was very excited, and he smashed his walking cane against the concrete as he moved around the garden in the auditorium. He said that he wanted to say goodbye to the cane forever. Faced with this situation, Master was so calm and peaceful.

On the day the lectures were over, we knew we were going to say goodbye to Master. We were all very sad. Man or woman, young or old, we were all in tears because we were saying goodbye to our most beloved family member.

I have been cultivating for twelve years. In spite of all the hardships and difficulties during the dark seven years of persecution, I have not changed one bit in my righteous belief in Master. Very often when I recall the days that seemed to be ordinary during the Seventh Session of the Falun Gong Lectures by Master in Changchun, it really touches my heart deeply. All this seems to have happened just yesterday.
