Esteemed Master, respected fellow practitioners, greetings!

I obtained the Fa at the end of 1998. My whole family practices Falun Dafa. Master eradicated the root cause of my heart disease, high blood pressure and other illnesses. My whole family has benefited from the practice. Since the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, my family has gone through numerous tribulations and tests. Three family members have been arrested. My daughter and son have been arrested twice, and my daughter has been detained in a labor camp for the past three years. I was arrested three times. Recalling what I experienced in these seven years, sometimes I was in a dangerous predicament. On the path of cultivation, I have reached where I am today because of Master's protection. Master has suffered a lot for me. Every time I think of this, my eyes are filled with tears. As Master's disciple, I cannot fully express my gratitude to Him.

A fellow practitioner who went astray reported my family to the police on July 25, 2002. Eight or nine policemen ransacked my home. They searched every spot including the inside of the stoves and beds. A policeman searched the place where I used to store Dafa books. I suddenly understood why I had a thought an hour before to hide the books somewhere else. I know Master was helping me. The police did not find anything, but they illegally arrested me and my daughter. We were first sent to the county police station. In the afternoon we were sent to the Lubei Police Department.

I did not sleep the whole night in the cell. I asked Master to help me to go home. In the morning, they wanted to take a picture of me but I refused. At ten o'clock, I was brought to the chief of the police station for interrogation. They had just started when I suddenly felt very ill. I knew Master was helping me. Doctors were called and they tried to give me medication, but the medication came out of my mouth. While they were helping me to recover, they said, "Do not worry, we will ask your family to take you home." So at noon I went home.

In April 2004, I went to distribute truth-clarification fliers at a neighboring village. I was reported, arrested and taken to a police station and chained in a chair. They found my key in my pocket and planned to ransack my home. I asked for Master's help to stop the old forces' persecution of me. Again I felt ill. On the same day, the secretary of the party sent me home. Some fellow practitioners said that I have strong righteous thoughts. Actually without Master's protection, I cannot do anything.

Looking back on my path, I believe in Master and the Fa more firmly. I understand the true meaning of, "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master." ("Zhuan Falun")

Since I could not concentrate while sending righteous thoughts, it resulted in interference. When I destroyed objects related to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I ignored sending out righteous thoughts. I burned the CCP-related books and pictures and threw away the porcelain statues. I thought I cleaned out things very well. But on the second day, my husband, who does not practice Falun Gong, asked me where the pictures which related to the CCP went. I said I broke them. He became angry right away. He used a shovel to hit me. He hit me so hard that the head of shovel flew off, and he yelled, "You don't listen to me. I will kill you." I realized that he did not speak for himself. The CCP spirit possession was controlling him, and that is why he became so crazed. I asked Master to help me and eliminate the CCP spirits, and then he stopped. In the evening a practitioner asked me whether I sent forth righteous thoughts ahead of time. I realized the reason for the incident. I destroyed the objects, but the CCP spirits did not die, and they possessed my husband and used him to directly persecute a Dafa disciple.

I felt it was very difficult to tell people to quit the CCP. It's not as easy as distributing the truth-clarification fliers. But knowing that this is the requirement of Master, I must do it, and I need to do it well. I started with my family members, relatives and friends, and then moved on to others.

Looking back, the problem is not whether it's difficult or not. It's a matter of whether we want to save people. As long as you have this wish, Master will help you. Teacher said in"People with predestined relationships and those who can be saved can be made to--made to by Master's Law Bodies, righteous gods, or the immense field that Dafa has formed in the world--appear right before you in any of a range of settings, providing them with a chance to learn the truth. But you have to carry it out, and it doesn't work if you're not out there doing things. "

Before, I spent a lot of time clarifying the truth to others. Now, just like Master said, we can meet predestined everywhere, no matter if we are visiting friends or going to the market. After a few words, the people will be persuaded to quit the CCP. Sometimes ten people quit in a day. In our village, twenty families quit the CCP. About two hundred people quit the CCP, including two former village chiefs.

It is very interesting that I had not seen my classmates for years, but they suddenly showed up so we can have a chance to save them. Isn't this arranged by Master?

I am not good at speaking, but I do it from my heart. Most of the time I asked them directly, "Did you join the Communist Youth League?" If the reply is no, I will ask, "Did you ever join the Young Pioneers?" If the answer is yes, I will ask them to quit. I tell them that many people who joined the CCP or its related organizations withdrew from it. I tell them that in this way, they can save themselves. It's good for them, and they will realize how lucky they are later. Most people agree to withdraw from the CCP. If I am asked what this withdrawing is good for, I will say that people who read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party all know what the CCP has done. The party killed eighty million people through various political movements. Now it's persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. It must be punished. I say that if you do not withdraw from it, then you are a member of it. Who wants to die with it! You see so many natural and man-made disasters happening right now. It's a warning. People should wake up. Who does not want to live a peaceful life avoiding disasters? They say, "I quit," and I tell him that they will receive both mental and physical benefits if they recite sincerely, "Falun Dafa is good." Many of them are willing to do this. Some thank me for telling them. One time I handed out a Dafa amulet to a person, and he put both hands together to thank me. Everyone has a knowing side.

I have also met some people who are not nice. Then I find my shortcomings and improve my xinxing constantly. Telling people to quit the CCP is also a process of cultivating myself and improving with other practitioners as a whole body. Facing the election of village leaders this year, some practitioners thought we should not participate in the election, because no matter who is elected, they are always the same. Some even said, "I would vote for them if they gave me money. I could use the money to make truth-clarification fliers." Through discussion we realized that everything is related to our cultivation. This is a good chance for us to validate the Fa and tell people to quit the CCP. So we worked together and talked with candidates and their families directly. We said, "We do not want anything from you, but you must remember that Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance is good. If you withdraw from the CCP, you will have a good future." They were touched, and some families withdrew from the CCP. The villagers have seen the beauty of Dafa.

As long as we can take the first step, the following one is so natural. As the Fa-rectification progresses, it's very easy to ask people to quit the CCP now. We feel the urgency of asking people to quit the CCP. Sometimes people tell me, "I already quit, someone told me about it already."

In Zhuan Falun Master said,

"To tell you the truth, the entire cultivation process for a practitioner is one of constantly giving up human attachments."

I have studied the Fa for a long time, but just recently I had a better understanding of Master's words. I realized that I still have many attachments. Sometimes I even hold onto my attachments and do not want to give them up. I even think I am better than others. It's easy to point out others' problems. When others point out my problems, I cannot calm down and try to find out who is right and who is wrong. I cannot listen to others and stubbornly stick to my own views. I still have such impure thoughts. I did not cultivate well, and I let down Master.

Every time I went to the labor camp, I wanted to ask the authorities to release fellow practitioners. But every time I got there, I just asked for a visit. I was not even allowed to see the practitioners. Why did it turn out like this? Other practitioners pointed out that we should consider ourselves as divine beings. What do the police count for? If we have strong righteous thoughts, we can ask for our people to be released. How can we just ask to see them? I thought, "Why didn't I say something while we were there? I felt we only thought it but did not do it." I replied, "You are a divine being at home. But when you get there you become a human." As a result, we left feeling bad. It's not good for improving as one body. I tried to cover my attachment of fear, and I treated myself as a normal human being, not a divine being.

Through Fa study, I realized that I only want to change others but do not want to touch my own attachments. It's a fundamental issue as to whether I can cultivate or not. After our discussion, I looked inward. Fellow practitioners also found their shortcomings. We all felt good. We respected each other and became a whole body.

We went to the labor camp again and felt strong righteous thoughts. When the train reached the station, a fellow practitioner said, "See, a person is practicing in the buildings." We all knew Master was encouraging us. We sent out righteous thoughts and asked Master to help us along the way. We did not wait at the end of the line for a visit. We went directly to a building to see the administrators of the labor camp to request that they release our fellow practitioners. We found a person on the third floor. He directed us to the first floor for visiting. Although we did not find the administrators of the labor camp, we did not have fear anymore. I asked two fellow practitioners who came with me what to do next. "We should go to see the person in charge of visiting." We went to the first floor, and a fellow practitioner told them, "My sister did not commit any crime. You should release her!" The resolute voice shocked them. A policeman asked her three times, "What did you say?" "I want my sister back!" Although the voice of justice came from one person's mouth, it came from the heart of all of us as one body. We put validating the Fa as the first goal of the trip. We told the family members of the practitioners there to quit the CCP, and we told them that their relatives did not commit any crime. We should not obey illegal requirements. We want our people released.

On the train back, we were not tired. We gave our seats to others and used this opportunity to talk about quitting the CCP. One person talked while others sent out righteous thoughts. Six people quit the CCP on the way home. This trip made me realize that constantly eliminating attachments is true cultivation. Only when we act according to Master's requirements can we improve as one body.

My daughter has been "illegally detained" for three years. Her eight-year-old child cannot listen to his mother reading the Fa. He cannot practice the exercises either. In order to help him catch up, I brought him to my home while he was on his summer school break. He stayed with me for seventeen days. During this time he memorized the poems in Master's Hong Yin. He also read Zhuan Falun from the beginning to the end with us. He can recite Lunyu, and he learned the five sets of exercises. One time when he was doing the sitting meditation, he sat for an hour. It was so painful that he almost cried, and his body trembled, but he did not put his legs down. He also asked to distribute truth-clarification fliers with me. He acted like an adult when he quietly squeezed the truth-clarification fliers into the crack between the door and the frame.

It touched me that he quietly burned incense and kowtowed to Master. I asked him, "What did you say to Master?" He replied, "I asked Master to help my mom come home sooner." He was strict with himself. He would not eat if he had not finished reciting a poem of Hong Yin. He used to watch TV at home. I did not let him watch TV once at my home. He was okay with that. Every day we studied the Fa, did the exercises, and played a little. I know I was too strict with him but I had no choice as time is so limited. He was comfortable with the schedule. Such a tight schedule is not easy even for an adult.

I told fellow practitioners who have children, "Do not ignore these children." Some young practitioners are already in fourth and fifth grade, but their parents have not taught them to do the exercises. Some are afraid that it's too hard for the kids, or they are afraid that spending time on them will affect themselves. I realize it will not affect ourselves, it will make us more diligent. Children are born into a practitioner's family. It's our duty to bring them back to their true home! That is a part of our cultivation.

All in all, I am doing the three things, but I have not done them very well. I am still far away from the requirement of a cultivator. I will study the Fa well and cultivate well in the future and catch up with the Fa-rectification process. Please kindly point out to me if there is anything inappropriate in what I have written.
