Mr. Yue Huimin from Qiqihar City Dies from Torture Suffered in the Fuyu Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yue Huimin from Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province was tortured for more than two years in the Fuyu Labor Camp, to the point where his life was in danger. He nearly lost sight in both eyes, and his whole body suffered from fluid retention. He died on March 18, 2005.

Mr. Yue Huimin used to be very sick before practicing Falun Dafa. He was on long term medical leave from his work. His physical condition quickly improved after practicing Falun Dafa, and he was able to return to work.

After the persecution of Falun Dafa began in 1999, Mr. Yue Huimin continued cultivating despite pressure from the Zhonghua Street Police Station. In the middle of December 2000, Mr. Yue was arrested by policemen from the Hubin Police Station while producing truth-clarifying materials. Policemen ransacked his home, stole five thousand yuan in cash, and took away many of his possessions, including a television.

Mr. Yue was brutally tortured at the Hubin Station. His clothes were torn apart, and police forced him to walk on the snow while barefoot. He was later transferred to the Qiqihar City Second Detention Center, where he was deprived of the use of the toilet. Finally he was sentenced to two years of forced labor and sent to the Fuyu Labor Camp.

In the Fuyu Labor Camp, Mr. Yue Huimin was forced to do heavy construction work from 4 a.m. in the morning to 8 p.m. every night. His health deteriorated, and his body developed a scabies infection. He was emaciated, suffered with diabetes, had damage to the lower part of the brain, and hepatitis type B. He often fainted and did not sleep properly for more than a year.

After two years of cruel torture, the Fuyu Labor Camp extended his term by two months. He was finally carried home while he was dying, nearly blind, inner ears infected, and his whole body swollen with dropsy.

Even with Mr. Yue on his deathbed, Qiqihar City 610 Office and Zhonghua Street policemen continued calling at his home to harass him. On March 18, 2005, Mr. Yue Huimin died in great agony.

Three more Falun Dafa practitioners have been tortured to death by guards at the Fuyu Labor Camp. They are: Mr. Wang Baoxian, an engineer employed by the Qiqihar Vehicle Factory; Mr Gao Deyong, Office Manager of Qiqihar City Civil Engineering Company; and Mr. Fu Zhiyu.
