At the beginning, practitioners held lit candles and kept silence for three minutes to commemorate the practitioners tortured to death. Dafa music "Pudu" was played among the silence. Passers-by could understood what the practitioners wanted to do and say from the banners and posters: "Stop the persecution of Falun Gong", "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice", "Rescue practitioners being persecuted" and "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance".

Near the end of the activity, a motorcade with police van in front passed by in front of the practitioners slowly. The practitioners greeted the motorcade by waving hands and said "Falun Dafa is good". Later it was learned that it was the president's motorcade. The president saw the peaceful activity of practitioners and asked the police guarding the consulate about the reason of the matter.
