Chongqing Forced Labor Camp Incites Inmates to Brutally Torture Falun Dafa Practitioners Inside Secret Rooms (Clearwisdom.net) Since November 2000 when the labor camp was opened, Chongqing Xishanping Forced Labor Camp has secretly persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners using cruel punishments. In order to implement orders of forced brainwashing from the 610 Office, the labor camp has set up a special "strict control group" (execution team), selected from roughnecks among many of the prisoners. The requirements for these criminals who are hired for the "strict control group" are: having a heavy build, being extremely vicious, and being a habitual offender. Three to seven hired roughnecks are assigned to persecute each practitioner. As a reward, they are exempted from hard labor and they can reduce their term lengths. Therefore, they actively or even crazily cooperate with jail guards, and cruelly abuse Falun Gong practitioners who never hit back when hit, and do not curse back when cursed. Mental Persecution When the "forced transformation" began at the Chongqing Xishanping Forced Labor Camp Education Group No. 7 team (forced brainwashing transformation group), the guards called out a practitioner's name, and he was grabbed by four heavily-built men from the execution team. His head was held down, both of his hands were placed on his back, and he was carried away with force to the execution team. It was done so violently that even the prisoners there found it disturbing to watch. After arriving at the execution team, about a dozen unreasonable stipulations are read to the practitioners, and they are fixed to a small stool and are not allowed to move even an inch for half a day, one day, or even several days. As soon as they move, they are slapped on their faces, or punched and kicked. They are not allowed to say anything. They are not allowed to know what time it is, wash their faces or feet, or to wear more clothes when it is cold, or take off clothes when it is hot. In addition, they are restricted from using the washroom, or standing up and walking. Collaborators watch them around the clock. The warden said, "This is where even the sun cannot reach. No journalists are allowed to come here. Even if they come, they will not dare to expose anything. Appeals? You can't even have a pen or paper. You are also forced to sing "the Communist Party is good," for a few hours or even half day. As soon as the practitioners started clarifying the truth to the hired roughnecks, their mouths were covered. They were even threatened, "We can beat you to the point of internal injury. No one can see it from the outside, and you won't die because of it, but we'll make you feel worse than dying." Torture Methods The execution team doesn't have any punishment tools on the surface, their blankets are neatly folded like in the army, and there are only metal chairs, small stools, a barrel for dirty water, and concrete floors in the area. However, any of the above mentioned items can be used as punishment tools at any time. Sitting punishment: Falun Dafa practitioners are forced to sit on a small stool. They are not allowed to move an inch, and both hands are twisted behind the back and lifted up. A piece of thin paper is put in between the knees, and if it shakes a little bit, it could incur a beating or cursing. After a few days, as a result of this torture, the practitioner's bottom becomes swollen. With all of his weight on the hard stool every minute, it is as if he were sitting on a needle. After sitting on it for a consecutive 48 hours, he is allowed only 2 hours of sleep, and is then subjected to another 48 hours of sitting. After that, another 2 hours of sleep, and it goes on like that. After sitting on the stool for a long time, practitioners lose their ability to stand up, their muscles become withered, and their bodily functions are seriously impaired. Iron bed: The iron bed is placed about 40 centimeters (16 in.) above the ground, and the practitioner's whole body is squeezed under the bed except for his/her head. The hands are fastened to the iron bed. They are forced to eat underneath the iron bed as well. They are not allowed to come out for several days. Spittoon: Hired roughnecks spit on the practitioners' faces, or hold their heads down in a barrel containing dirty water Concrete floor: In wintertime, practitioners are forced to take off their winter coats, and are only allowed to wear very little clothing while being held down on the ground. Their limbs are stepped on by the roughneck for hours. Shoes: Roughnecks use the bottoms of their shoes, which are very dirty, to hit practitioners' faces and hands. They step on their faces with their shoes. Alternatively, four or five roughnecks collectively beat up practitioners, and then step on their heads. Hunger: For each meal, practitioners are only provided with 50 grams of congee or 36 pellets of rice. Force-feeding unknown drugs: Practitioners are force-fed with unknown drugs. Afterward practitioners feel thirstier than before, their muscles become atrophied, and their skin becomes loose. This unknown drug is a small, white pill. Sleep deprivation: As soon as practitioners fall asleep, roughnecks hit them with wooden sticks, or beat them up with strong copper wire. Paper and pen: Practitioners are forced to write the "Five Statements" through the use of violence. "Criticizing" meetings are held across the team. Practitioners are ordered to cry to show their regret even if they don't feel like it. Falun Gong practitioners Liao Lianhai, Li Wenlong, Gu Shenxue, Jiang Zhaihong, Zhang Jinliang, Gu Jiushou, Zhong Sujun, Han Yiming, Zhang Youhao, Xie Jin, Zhang Peisheng, Wen Zuming, Zhang Peijin and others, altogether over 100 practitioners, have suffered from the above mentioned cruel punishments. Using Evil People to Persecute Practitioners Just as the Roman tyrant Nero threw Christians in with the lions, jail guards pass Falun Gong practitioners over to the most vicious prisoners selected from the forced labor camps. After being tortured for a few days, if they still aren't "reformed" jail policemen have wardens come over, and threaten, "What are you waiting for?" which incites even more cruel tortures. Jail policemen even openly demand prisoners to "use violence more often," and wardens threaten other hired roughnecks, telling them that if they can't stay in the "strict control group" (execution team), they will be sent to do hard labor.
