Tangshan City Practitioner Wang Mingduo Has Been Repeatedly Arrested and Tortured

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Mingduo is a former employee of the Hebei Province Cangzhou City Construction Bank. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2001 for believing in "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" and incarcerated at the Jidong Prison in Tangshan City. The guards tortured him cruelly and forced him to do hard labor for long hours.

In the second half of 2003, Mr. Wang was released and returned to Cangzhou City. He lost his job, as did his wife. They lived on the small income Mr. Wang made by selling newspapers and magazines and delivering gas cans.

On June 20, 2005, Jindao Police Station personnel illegally arrested Mr. Wang for clarifying the truth. He was later sent to the No. 1 Detention Center where he went on a hunger strike, protesting the persecution he suffered. The guards cuffed his hands behind his back and put shackles on him. They also brutally force-fed him.

The end of June is the hottest time in Cangzhou City. The temperature is about 40oC (about 104oF), yet the guards put a lot of salt into the food that was used to force-feed Mr. Wang. The guards forced him to sleep on the floor every night, forbidding him to sleep on the bed. The guards also ordered inmates to torture him. The inmates sat on his legs while he was handcuffed and shackled. The pressure broke his legs. After 15 days of abuse, under the persistent demands of family and friends, Mr. Wang was released.

The night of November 23, 2005, police arrested Mr. Wang once more. He was sent to the Tangshan City Kaiping Labor Camp on November 25.
