Two Patients with "Incurable" Diseases Recover After Practicing Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) I have a colleague who had Myasthenia Gravis disease. If he did not take large dosages of stimulants, which had strong side effects, it would be difficult for him to open his eyes. It seriously affected his work and daily life. Around the year 2000, I got a temporary position in this company. After I introduced Falun Gong to him, he read through Zhuan Falun and started cultivation practice. He then quit smoking and drinking. Initially he took the medicine every few days, with the dosage and frequency significantly reduced. His overall health improved significantly.

Between 2000 and 2003, for work-related reasons and because of the persecution, I left this company and lost touch with him. This colleague meanwhile started to have different views of Dafa and quit cultivation because of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) propaganda and his attachment to his physical change, as well as not exchanging experiences with other practitioners.

After April 2003, I returned to this company and shared the same office with him. On the first day after my return, the symptoms of his Myasthenia Gravis disease completely disappeared and he stopped taking the medicine on that day. Over time, I gave him copies of "Questions and Answers that Break up Lies and Fallacies," "The Journey Home" and other truth-clarification materials, which helped him gradually understand Falun Gong. Due to my own misgivings and attachment to fear, I did not make much progress reminding him to renew his cultivation in Dafa.

It was not until one day in early 2005 that I asked him, "Did your illness ever come back? Are you still not taking any medicine?" He said, "That's right, it's still gone." I said, "Don't you think it is a miracle? It has been two years since I rejoined this company. Don't you ever think of this case a miracle? Master does not want to give up on any practitioner. My coming to this company was a cultivation opportunity arranged by Master. This miracle that happened to your body was also an opportunity for cultivation created by Master. The purpose was to help you realize the power and benevolence of Dafa, so that you will be able to come back to the cultivation of Dafa. Please, do not let this cultivation opportunity slip by. How much more time do you need to understand? Do you want to wait until the miracle vanishes and your disease comes back, and all truths are revealed?"

He was shocked after listening to me and started to realize that Master has been looking after him, waiting for him and guiding him, and Master cares more about him than my colleague does himself. From then on he started to read Zhuan Falun and returned to Dafa cultivation. After he read "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party", he quit the party.

One day another colleague said to him, "Yesterday there was an article in a newspaper saying people with one of five incurable diseases can apply for government financial assistance. Why don't you hurry up to apply?" I asked him, "How are you going to handle this matter?" "Of course I shall ignore it," he replied.

Recently, he started to take the initiative to clarify the facts to his family members and friends, and some of them have reacted positively.

Another story happened with another colleague of mine. Half a year ago, the colleague's brother got a strange disease. His got a sharp pain in the pancreas area and rapidly lost weight, from 80 kilograms to 45 kilograms and could not get out of bed anymore. To seek treatment, they visited all the major hospitals in Beijing and visited many well-known doctors; none of them could arrive at a diagnosis or suggest treatment. Finally, doctors at the Xiehe Hospital diagnosed him with pancreatic cancer and provided corresponding treatment. The patient and his family members felt helpless. They took him back home with no hope of recovery. In desperation, the family started to look for a witch doctor and a Fengshui master for help. They asked around to see who knew how to find those people.

One day I was chatting with this colleague and he mentioned his brother's situation. I told him, "I do not know much about witch doctors, but I know the wonders of Falun Dafa, which might be helpful for your brother's disease." Then I talked about Dafa's miracles and Master's benevolence, as well as many amazing cultivation stories. I further expressed that I could find a copy of the book Zhuan Falun for him.

A few days later, the book Zhuan Falun was passed into his brother's hands. Five days after his brother received the book I visited the colleague and asked, "Has your brother read the book yet? How is his situation?"

He said, "I have not talked with him for a few days. I will call him now to check on him." He picked up the phone and dialed the number. His brother's wife said in the phone, "He went out to take a walk."

"How could he go out walking? Couldn't he leave the bed?"

"He was really energetic today and wanted to go out for a walk."

"Has he read the book I gave to him?"

"Yes, he has been reading that book. He has not finished reading it yet; the book is still by his bed side."

"Let him continue reading and ask him to give me a call when he comes back."

Based on the discussion from a few days before, my colleague had some understanding of Dafa, had learned of some cultivation stories and miracles of Dafa, so he did not feel any surprise. He said, "He recovered so well, is it as simple as this? I had better ask my wife to have a look."

A few days later I once again asked about his brother's situation. He said, "My brother has finished reading the book. He has not practiced the exercises yet, but he knows that Falun Dafa is wonderful. Now he is just as normal as other people. My wife has started reading the book. After she finishes reading, I would like to take a look. Please, do not be in a hurry to get the book back." "Don't worry! Take your time!" I said.

A few days ago I met him as we were heading home from work. He said, "My wife knows it is good; she has not practiced yet, but I am going to practice it. If I do not read the book for one day, I would feel bad."
