To Avoid Further Torture, Ms. Yi Shuling Forced to Escape Through Fifth Floor Window As Mengyin County 610 Office Agents Break Into Her Home

(Clearwiswon.net) On October 29, 2005, the officials from the Mengyin County (Shandong Province) 610 Office and the the County's No. 1 High School of Shandong Province used an axe to smash through the security door of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yi Shuling's home. Ms. Yi, a schoolteacher, was forced to escape through the fifth floor window to evade attempts to illegally arrest her. The officials ransacked Ms. Yi's house, changed the lock at the entrance of her home and took the key with them when they left.

Ms. Yi Shuling, about 35-years-old, is a teacher of the Second Branch School of the County's No. 1 High School. Over the past 6 years, the county 610 Office has persecuted her for practicing Falun Gong. She was sent to a forced labor camp to be tortured, and brainwashed and she was deprived of her right to work.

In 2001, Ms. Yi was held at a brainwashing center run by the Mengyin County 610 Office for more than 2 months. During that period of time she was forced fed.

In 2002, Ms. Yi was sentenced to three years of forced labor and was held at the Shandong No. 1 Women's Forced Labor Camp. She suffered many different torture methods for refusing to give up her belief in Falun Dafa. The torture included: forbidding her to urinate or excrete, forbidding her to eat and drink, sealing her mouth with adhesive plaster, tying her up and hanging her in the air, force-feeding her and forcing her to take unknown drugs. Ms. Yi was just skin and bones as a result of the persecution. To avoid responsibility, the forced labor camp collaborated with the Mengyin County 610 Office to send Ms. Yi to a mental hospital for further persecution after extorting thousands of yuan from her. The total is estimated at 6,000 yuan.

Under the enormous psychological and social pressure, Ms. Yi's husband divorced her and the courts awarded custody of their daughter to her husband. Ms. Yi's family has been broken up and her loved ones have been forced to leave her.

After Ms. Yi left the mental hospital she went to her workplace to request her job back. The Second Branch School of the Mengyin County's No. 1 High School asked her to see the 610 officials. However, the 610 officials said that since she had not renounced Falun Gong, and her terms of forced labor had not been served in full, her request was refused. Ms. Yi said, "You don't have the right not to let me work because it is against the country's laws." The Head of the Mengyin County 610 Office, Cui Huadong, said, "Don't talk about the law while you are here. If you want to talk about the law, then go to the forced labor camp!"

In the past two years, Ms. Yi's has mainly relied on her relatives and some odd jobs for her livelihood. In July or August she was invited to be a teacher at a private school in another county. However, after having the stable job for a few months, the authorities persecuted her once again.

On October 29, 2005, Ms. Yi Shuling came back home to visit her daughter. At about 9 o'clock Du Qingtai, the Union President of the Second Branch School of the Mengyin County's No. 1 High School, as well as teachers Feng Wenxue and Feng Youlan, led the officials from the County 610 Office and the County Police Department 610 Office to Ms. Yi's home and requested that she open the door. They waited for 20 minutes. Ms. Yi did not open the door. Du Qingtai and the two teachers left. However, the officials from the two 610 Offices still waited downstairs. They waited for the whole night. Ms. Yi Shuling was forced to climb down through the window on the fifth floor with a rope and left unharmed.

On October 30, the officials from the County 610 Office and the County Police Department 610 Office collaborated with the Second Branch School of the County's No. 1 High School to use an axe to smash the security door and the wooden door and then broke into Ms. Yi's home. They ransacked the house without a proper warrant. They took away the Falun Dafa books and materials as well as the TV set and DVD player. After that they changed the lock to Ms. Yi's house and the Second Branch School of the County's No. 1 High School took the key.

Ms. Yi had experienced inhuman torture in the brainwashing center run by the Mengyin County 610 Office and the forced labor camp. When she found the 610 officials and their cars blocking the entrance to her building, she had no choice but to risk her life to climb down through the window of the fifth floor with a rope. As the rope was not long enough, Ms. Yi had to tear a bed sheet to extend the length of the rope to reach the ground.
