(Clearwisdom.net) After I read Master's new articles "A Will That Ebbs Not" and "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be," I felt really ashamed. My cultivation state is sometimes good, sometimes bad, and I've not been diligent lately. Master's articles are a "Stick Wake-up" for me. I examined myself carefully, and found out that my biggest problem is using a human mentality in dealing with everything. I often handle things using a human mentality instead of the righteous thoughts of a practitioner. The result is that I am often stuck on the level of human thinking, and becomes less and less diligent.

The process of cultivation is the process of the transformation of a human being to a divine being. In this process we should gradually see things from the perspective of a divine being rather than a human, i.e. use righteous thoughts in dealing with everything. Master said in, "To the European Fa Conference in Stockholm:"

Since Master said "divine beings are among men", we should not use the human mentality in dealing with everything. We should use righteous thoughts, even as we conform as much as possible to the state of everyday people. Only this way will we do well the three things Master requires.

Looking back, whenever I use a human mentality, I get interference and often have problems; whenever I use righteous thoughts, I often do things well. A few days ago I went to a hotel with a fellow practitioner to spread information related to the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. My fellow practitioner said we could not pass the material into a room underneath the door because a copy of the Nine Commentaries was too thick. At the time my righteous thoughts were very strong. All I wanted was to save sentient beings. I thought that there must be a way to give the materials to the predestined people in the hotel. When we got there, we found out that the gap between the door and floor was quite big. There was no problem to pass the materials through the gap. But later a person attempted to stop us, and I forgot my divine side. I thought that if they didn't want me to distribute the materials, I would stop. We, therefore, did not pass the materials to every room. If I had used righteous thoughts, it would have been different.

I have had quite a few of these kinds of lessons lately. In another example, I was very attached to my work. Before I obtained the Fa, I was a so-called workaholic. Recently, I suddenly became very busy and often had to work overtime. In the beginning I could use righteous thoughts and do the Dafa work first and then everyday people's work, or I would sleep less to have time to study the Fa. I did not feel sleepy and it did not adversely affect my everyday people's work. But later my human thoughts became strong. I was afraid I would have a traffic accident if I did not have enough sleep, so I stopped the Fa study. Every day, I thought that if I could finish my work, I would have time to study the Fa, but the workload became heavier. When I finished one task, another one showed up. I could not stop working, so I did not have time to study the Fa. Recently, I realized the problem and sent forth righteous thoughts to get rid of the interference. I put down my attachments to work, and the situation started to change.

When we cultivate among everyday people in society, it is very hard to use righteous thoughts, instead of human thoughts, in dealing with everything. Since we came with Master to this human world to validate the Fa, we should get rid of our human thoughts and be truly selfless.
