(1) Two Nephews' Stories

An elderly female Falun Gong practitioner lived in a city in Northern China. In 1997, one of her nephews came to her city planning to find a job. Shortly after arriving at her home, he began to suffer from a high fever. This elderly practitioner thought that her nephew might have a predestined relationship with Dafa, so she told him, "Let me read Zhuan Falun to you. As long as you trust Dafa and listen carefully to my reading, you'll recover quickly." Her nephew knew that she had recovered from many severe diseases because of her practice of Falun Gong, so he trusted what she said without doubt. He carefully listened to her reading of Zhuan Falun. Very soon the miracle happened. Without going to see a doctor, his high fever was quickly gone. Later on he found a job quite easily. His boss appreciated his efforts and sent him for training. As a previous middle school graduate, he obtained a college associate diploma. Later on he got married and lived a very happy life. Around July 20, 1999, when the police came to search the elderly practitioner's home, this nephew helped his aunt to hide and protect Dafa books.

Another nephew of hers had a different experience. He always lost money no matter what business he was involved in. He lost his car when he was a taxi driver and he lost his house when he ran an automobile repair shop. Finally his wife divorced him and took his son away. Her nephew had to leave his hometown and came to his aunt expecting to find a job in this city. The elderly practitioner thought that the true reason he came to her was that his true self was looking forward to learning the truth of Falun Gong in order to be saved. She talked to her nephew about how great Dafa is and how practitioners have been persecuted, etc. Unfortunately, her nephew had been deeply poisoned by the CCP's vicious propaganda. He thought that his aunt was very foolish and superstitious and so he never believed what she said. He often listened to her words with a derisive attitude. The elderly practitioner sometimes felt angry with him. She considered, however, that he must have been deeply poisoned by the CCP and that she should be more patient and clarify the truth little by little. It had been difficult for her nephew to find a job. Sometimes when he found one, he was unable to keep his position for very long. His aunt took this chance to talk about the truth of Falun Gong and gave him flyers to read and VCDs to watch. He learned the truth about the Tiananmen self-immolation incident. This young man gradually started trusting the truth of Falun Gong. He finally understood that Falun Dafa is great and the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance are good. He also realized that Jiang's regime has been using the CCP as a tool to brutally persecute Dafa disciples. He never believed the CCP's slanderous propaganda again. Very soon after this he went to search for a job and he obtained three job offers in one day. He chose a satisfactory job offer with a monthly salary of 1500 yuan and has been working there steadily.

(2) Following the CCP Leads to Retribution and Repentance Leads to Recovery from Serious Illness

An 80-year-old senior engineer was a CCP member in a research institute in Hebei Province. His belief in the CCP's vicious propaganda resulted in his having hatred toward Falun Dafa. He often tore up Falun Gong truth-clarifying literature and refused to listen to practitioners who tried to clarify the truth to him.

One day he found a truth-clarifying flyer on the street. He went to the Local Resident Association to report this, cursing Falun Gong all the way there. On his way back, he fell down on the ground. He was then confined to bed and his symptoms grew worse day by day.

After this incident, practitioners talked with the man's wife, and helped her realize that her husband had suffered from retribution because he followed the CCP's propaganda and destroyed Dafa literature. The only way to save his life was to help him understand that Falun Dafa is good. They also sent him an amulet with the words "Falun Dafa is great" on it and asked him to silently recite "Falun Dafa is good!" The engineer's wife said, "I already believe what you say but he has never believed it." The practitioners said to her, "Don't feel discouraged. Try to convince him gradually."

It wasn't until one day when this old engineer was critically ill and on the verge of death that he was eventually convinced. It was probably because of a being's instinct to save himself that he began self-reflecting and kept silently reciting, "Falun Dafa is good!" His health magically recovered as a result and he never believed the CCP's propaganda anymore after that.

His experience had a big impact on his colleagues in that research institute and helped more people realize how great Falun Dafa is. They learned that it is true that if people treat Dafa kindly, they will be rewarded with happiness, health and peace.
