Notice Regarding Collecting Information About Orphans

(Clearwisdom.net) This is a global call to Dafa disciples and their family and friends. Starting from the date of publication for this notice, please help to provide detailed information regarding orphans of Dafa disciples who have been killed during the persecution in China, so that rescue efforts can be conducted better outside of China.

After the movement to persecute Falun Gong was initiated comprehensively and openly by Jiang Zemin in 1999, in Mainland China over the past five years at least 1049 Falun Gong practitioners have been killed as a result of persecution for speaking out for Falun Gong; a countless number of people have been subjected to having their homes ransacked, extorted out of money, illegally sent to forced labor camps, and illegally sentenced to prison; and tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been cruelly tortured for refusing to give up practicing Falun Gong and for explaining the facts of Falun Gong and the persecution. According to incomplete statistics, in the 62 months from July 1999 to September 2004, women make up 51.38% of the practitioners who were killed, and on average, 17 practitioners were killed by the persecution each month. The average age of the victims is 45 years old, and many of them left behind children that were not of age, who are leading very difficult lives.

We ask that Dafa disciples everywhere, in particular family members, friends or local practitioners of Dafa disciples who have been killed during the persecution, to proactively collect and organize detailed information regarding these orphans such as their name, gender, residential and mailing addresses, contact phone numbers, etc. If the orphans are still in school, please provide the child's school's complete name, address, phone number, and other information.

At the same time, please make sure to collect detailed information regarding the orphans' parents, (for example their names, age, profession, workplace, when and where they started cultivating, the details of their being killed by the persecution, relevant information about witnesses and evidence, etc); we would also like to know their current guardians' detailed information. The more comprehensive and detailed the information is, the better.

Please place information about the children and their parents together.
