By a Dafa practitioner in Fushun City, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) The torture against Dafa practitioners, which has occurred over the last several years at the hands of the local authorities is continuing today.

In November 1999, the Police Department of Qingyuan County detained Dafa practitioners who went to Beijing for an appeal in the Dashagou Detention Center of Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province. Ms. Ma Xiuwen was electrically shocked with a generator and kicked till she bled by Policeman Zhao Lihua after she was discovered practicing the Falun Gong exercises. A group of Dafa practitioners went on a hunger strike to protest the brutal mistreatment she received. In retaliation, the County Police Department sent a large number of policemen to brutally torture the detained Dafa practitioners. They intended to force practitioners to renounce their belief by physical violence and threats. The torture experienced by the group of practitioners included, being force-fed with alcohol [practitioners do not drink alcohol or smoke and live a clean lifestyle], having alcohol poured over their body, beatings, and being whipped with 3 sided triangular straps, etc.

Nineteen-year-old Miss Zang Yuyun was lashed by the police with triangular straps many times, resulting in black colored bruises over her whole body. They put handcuffs and shackles on her and force fed her as a form of torture.

Fifty-year-old Ms. Zhang Chuangui was forced to hold a wine bowl on her head, and had cigarettes stuck in her mouth and alcohol poured down her throat in order to degrade her and force her to go against her belief. She too, was put in handcuffs and shackles after being beaten.

Ms. Teng Jixiang was knocked to the ground. She was then pulled up and dragged by her hair to push her against the wall. After they pulled her up, they again beat her after she fell to the ground.

Practitioners Jiang Defang, Gai Yongjie and Liang Sujuan were lashed with triangular straps by two policemen and one policeman named Li Hongbin. Jiang Defang's teeth were beaten until loose and his face became swollen. Ms. Liang Sujuan was kicked to such an extreme that a large swollen bump formed on her back and bruises coverer her entire. And as a result of this beating, she was not able to move. Gai Yongjie's hands were handcuffed behind her back and she was forced to stand with her feet together and to squat down at a ninety degree angle. Police whipped her legs if they saw that she moved even a little.

In Qingyuan County,as Ms. Zhang Guixiang was being questioned, a police woman named Xu Jinrong, of the County Police Department and another male policeman beat Ms. Zhang in turns. Xu Jinrong slapped her on the face many times. She also was beaten with a triangular strap resulting in many blackend lumps across her body.

Xu Jinrong and her accomplices have beaten Dafa practitioners ceaselessly, until they were exhausted themselves from the exertion after she beating Ms. Qu Guizhen. Huo Yinggui is another practitioner that was severely beaten, force fed alcohol, lashed with a triangular strap, etc. during the same time period as when the torture of Qu Quizhen's ocurred.

At the same time, women practitioners were being beaten in three separate rooms. Policewomen Zhao Lihua, Liu Lei and Ai Gang electrically shocked and beat female practitioners who stayed in the same room with Ms. Yu Xiaomei. At that time, Ms. Yu Xiaomei urged, "Do not beat us again! We did not commit any crime!" Not heeding Yu Xiaomei plea, Policewoman, Zhao Lihua, bashed her head and right shoulder with her police baton, causing fractures to her clavicle and right shoulder blade. After receiving that beating, Yu Xiaomei was unable care of herself for an extended period of time.
