(Clearwisdom.net) The City of Shawnee, Kansas celebrates its traditional festival on the first weekend of every June. On June 5, 2004, local Falun Gong practitioners participated in the grand parade to celebrate the 38^th Shawnee Festival.

Along the parade route, the peaceful and solemn music composed by Dafa practitioners deeply moved people's hearts. The bright and colorful float that practitioners decorated, the traditional Chinese costume, and practitioners' earnest exercise demonstration won praises from the spectators. When practitioners passed by the main platform, the parade organizer loudly proclaimed, "Falun Dafa, Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance, I like it! I've felt their peacefulness and sereneness. I remember they also participated in our parade last year. This is the most beautiful float in our parade this year! The children on the float are the most beautiful children in the world! Greetings! Children! Thank you very much!" The spectators also warmly applauded.
