By a Vancouver Falun Dafa practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) June 13 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners from Vancouver Canada participated in the Coquitlam Celebration Parade in Port Coquitlam, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia. This is the first time for Vancouver practitioners to participate in this parade. They received a warm welcome along the parade route.

The morning sun drove away the rain of the night and brought in a bright weather for the parade. Wherever Falun Gong possession went, the spectators cheered and applauded. "So beautiful!" The beauty of Falun Dafa and the peacefulness of Falun Dafa practitioners left the local residents a good and strong impression. Many Chinese people smiled happily and proudly. Many of them willingly take the truth-clarification flyers.

After the parade, there were some entertainment activities on the lawn. The organizer allocated a place for Falun Gong practitioners to demonstrate exercises and perform that attracted many visitors.

This was the third parade Vancouver practitioners participated in since the end of the May. There are two more events already scheduled in coming two weeks. The practitioners were very busy but they thought that the regular activities are mostly in Vancouver downtown and have little chance to go to surrounding cities. The parades in summer are good opportunities to clarify truth in large scale and let more people know Falun Dafa. The activities have a good effects indeed!
