By a Dafa Practitioner in Japan
(Clearwisdom.net) On May 16, 2004, the annual Kobe Festival was held
in Kobe, Japan. The main feature was the parade in which 90 organizations
participated with the theme, "Green, Sea and Love." Practitioners of different ethnicities demonstrated the exercises on the
float, followed by a waist drum team, Minghui School, Celestial Maiden team, and
Tang Dynasty costume performance. On the parade route, the announcer said to local residents, "Today,
Falun Gong practitioners are gathered here happily. They are all healthy in both
mind and body. Falun Gong is a high level Qigong. Practitioners not only
practice the five-sets of exercises for good health but follow the principles of
Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance to be good persons. Falun Gong was made to
public in 1992 by Master Li Hongzhi and has spread to over 60 countries. One
hundred million people are practicing it..." It was the first time Falun Gong practitioners had participated in the
parade, and there had been much interference from many sides during the
application and preparation process. Practitioners in charge of the application
and preparation overcame difficulties with righteous thoughts, which allowed
practitioners' participation in the parade to proceed smoothly.
