(Clearwisdom.net) On May 2, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the May Day Festival Parade for the third year in a row. Falun Gong's procession caught the spectators' attention, and the peaceful exercise demonstration and lotus dancing won much applause. A young practitioner's folk dance was also quite welcomed. Another young practitioner sat on a lotus and demonstrated the fifth Falun Gong exercise, which won audience's appreciation.

Explaining the facts about Falun Gong

Audience feedback was notably better than last year. Many people came to the Falun Gong booth to learn the exercises. Some said that they felt the strong energy field around the booth. Many in the audience praised the Falun Gong practitioners' procession as the best one in the parade.

One Western young man talked with the practitioners in Chinese and said that he would come to learn Falun Gong with his brother. Some parents stopped over at the booth and one said that her daughter liked Falun Gong practitioners' procession, especially the beautiful lotus flower. Around 7 p.m., there were fewer visitors, but still many stopped to talk to Falun Gong practitioners. Some came back several times to get more information.
