(Clearwisdom.net) On June 26, the UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, Florida Falun Dafa practitioners attended a meeting hosted by the Florida Torture Victims Center. Over 50 people of different nationalities attended the event.

At the conference, victims of dictatorships such as Vietnam, the former Soviet Union, Chili, Albania, Iraq etc. remembered the torture and persecution they experienced. After their individual testimonies, representatives of Falun Gong practitioners made a special presentation on the persecution of Falun Gong at the organizer's invitation. They briefly talked about the principles of Falun Dafa, the Chinese government's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful appeals over the last 4 years. The practitioners also pointed out the extension of the persecution to the United States, the illegal detention of US citizen Charles Li by the Chinese government, and the ongoing genocide lawsuit against Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin.

After the speech, practitioners showed the video, "SOS! Urgent Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in China." The testimony and the evidence of the brutal persecution shocked the audience. After the video, practitioners emphasized the importance of the ongoing lawsuit against the Chinese dictator and urged the audience to write to their elected officials for support.

After the speeches, many people signed their names to rescue Charles Li and bring Jiang to justice. A professor and human rights lawyer attending the meeting mentioned the importance of collecting evidence. He said the video Falun Gong practitioners showed is an example of the best kind of evidence.
