(Clearwisdom.net) At 10am on Wednesday 15th October 2003, a lawsuit was filed in Spain's National Court (Audiencia Nacional) against Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin and "6-10 Office" chief Luo Gan for genocide and crimes of torture.

The lawsuit had 15 plaintiffs and was filed by Falun Gong practitioners from the U.S., Australia, Belgium and Spain, through Madrid lawyer Carlos Iglesias. They are representing Falun Gong practitioners all over the world who are suffering under Jiang's persecution.

After the lawsuit was filed, the Spanish Falun Dafa Association held a press conference to let the media know about this step towards bringing Jiang to justice.

(Clearwisdom.net) October 15, 2003 report: One Clearwisdom journalist reports from China: Provincial governments in China have changed the name of the "610 Office" to "Purge the Evil Cult Office." To outsiders the government claims that the "610 Offices" have been disbanded.

Government officials in the know comment that this is a tactic often used by the Party, which is to simply change the outward appearance and not the nature of something. The name of the "610 Office" has a terrible reputation, so the government resorted to a name change in order to deal with foreign lawsuits as well as the overseas media.

The full name of the "610 Office" was "the Leadership Team Office on the Issue of Falun Gong." Under personal direction by Jiang Zemin, that office structure was established on June 10, 1999 and has since then been known as the "610 Office." It is the decision-making and enforcing agency under the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) "Leadership Team on the Issue of Falun Gong." It is a permanent office under the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee of the CCP Central Committee, controlled by Luo Gan, the Secretary of the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee. It systematically carries out Jiang's orders of "defaming their reputation, bankrupting them financially, destroying them physically."

The "610 Office" is the highest-level governmental agency the Jiang's regime uses to persecute Falun Gong. As it does nothing but political persecution and is completely above the law, it has a lot in common with the former "CCP Central Committee Cultural Revolution Leadership Team." It has been compared to the Nazi Gestapo.

Since 1999, the "610 Office" became a strict and independent system with absolute power over all levels of the ruling Party, the governmental departments and judicial systems in China. It orders and monitors various parts of the government machinery, including overseas Chinese consulates and embassies, to actively participate in this political persecution against Falun Gong and slandering "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance."

Dafa practitioner Ms. Lu Qiongfang was a 40-year-old farmer of Team Five in Chongyang Town, Chongyang City, Sichuan Province. She started Dafa cultivation in 1998. Ever since then she has tried her best to be a good person. In March 2003, she was arrested and had her home ransacked because she exposed the persecution of Falun Gong. The police also took away all the Dafa books and materials she had at home. In order to find the source of the Dafa materials, the police beat her savagely. Policeman Zhang Tiantian from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, along with Chongzhou police detained Lu Qiongfang in a government hotel, where they beat her day and night, and deprived her of sleep. They cuffed her hands behind her back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then applied a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff them.

In May 2003, seeing that she was in critical condition and not wanting to take the responsibility, the police set her free. Her family members took her for a medical examination. The doctors found a tumor in her body. However, during surgery, it turned out that the "tumor" was in fact a chunk of gore. After Lu Qiongfang checked out of the hospital, she still could not take care of herself and had to remain in bed all day long. She could not eat and lost control of her bladder. After several months of suffering, Lu Qiongfang passed away in September 2003.

(Clearwisdom.net) October 14^th report: News from Heilongjiang Province. Ms. Li Xiufen's family in Daqing City suffered long-term persecution at the hands of the police. Her daughter-in-law Cui Xiaojuan was tortured to death on December 30, 1999 for practicing Falun Gong; her son Xu Xiangdong was illegally sentenced to twelve years in prison; he was extremely emaciated as a result of torture. The police continued to harass Li Xiufen, who was in her 60's, when she was already deeply grieving for her family's suffering. On September 9, 2003, Li Xiufen passed away after enduring long-term harassment and persecution.

Li Xiufen was in her 60's and prior to her retirement worked as a teacher in Nahe County, Heilongjiang Province. Her whole family practiced Falun Gong. Her son Xu Xiangdong was a senior engineer in the Daqing City Development District. As stated above, he had been illegally sentenced to twelve years in prison because he persisted in his belief in Truth-Compassion-Tolerance. Xu Xiangdong's wife, Cui Xiaojuan, 40-years-old, was a teacher at the People's Police School in Daqing City. She went to Beijing to appeal. On December 30, 1999, Cui Xiaojuan was arrested and sent to a detention center. When she went home to get her clothes, in her attempt to escape from the police she fell from a building and died. Li Xiufen's son Xu Xiangdong was in shackles and handcuffs when he saw his wife for the last time in the crematorium.

In order to take care of her grandson, who, because of the persecution, has been forcibly separated from both of his parents, Li Xiufen moved to Daqing City and lived there for several years. Because her whole family practiced Falun Gong, the local police constantly harassed her. Recently, Li Xiufen went to Harbin City to visit her son, who was in solitary confinement at the time. When she saw him he looked completely deformed - he was just skin and bones. Li Xiufen was extremely shocked and deeply grieved. After she returned home, the police continued to harass and persecute her, and she eventually passed away on September 9, 2003.

An officer on duty at Daqing City's Development District Police Department (86-459-6043220) said he knew about Xu Xiangdong, but he didn't know his mother died. A male police officer at the Jianguang Police Station (86-459-6286110) in the area where Li Xiufen's family lived said, "If Li Xiufen didn't have a local residence registration, the police station is not accountable for her death."

(Clearwisdom.net) October 11 report: Authorities Anshan City, Liaoning Province recently held a secret trial. Five Dafa practitioners were illegally sentenced to prison in the hallway of Anshan City No. 1 Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Wei Zhiyi was sentenced to twenty years in prison;
Mr. Shen Hailong eighteen years;
Mr. Xu Zhaobin seventeen years;
Ms. Li Guihong fifteen years;
Ms. He Xiaoqiu fourteen years.

These five practitioners were arrested because of an incident on February 16, 2002, when someone tapped into a TV signal and aired Dafa truth clarification videos on public television. They are currently being held in the No. 1 Detention Center in Anshan.

Another practitioner, Ms. Zhang Li, who also participated in tapping into cable TV, was arrested on March 19, 2002, and was tortured to death on August 27, 2002.

According to witnesses, Zhang Li's trachea had been cut open at the time of her death. Her arms and the area around her underarms were also cut.

Another witness account states that Zhang Li was interrogated numerous times during the time she was detained at No. 1 Detention Center. Every time she returned from interrogation, her body was covered with deep cuts, bruises and blood. After she died, the police thoroughly wrapped her body in a piece of white cloth in order to cover up their crime.

In the morning of September 3, 2003, Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Xianrong in Laiwu City of Shandong Province was arrested at home by Liu Deling from the Security Section of the Panxi Coal Mine in Gangcheng District. His family had expected him to return home for lunch and waited until 3-4pm before they went to the Security Section to look for him. The Security Section directed them to the Yanzhuang Town Police Station. The family went to the Police Station, where the police pretended not to know anything. After Mr. Liu's family repeatedly inquired about Mr. Liu's whereabouts, they were finally told that he had long since been taken to Zibo City's Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Liu's family did not know which law he had violated to be sentenced to a forced labor term out of the blue.

Shortly thereafter, somebody from the Security Section came to Mr. Liu's family for their signatures. Mr. Liu's family refused to sign their names on the documents this person presented. The person then told them what happened. It turned out that not long ago, Mr. Liu wrote a letter containing Falun Gong information to an uncle and an aunt in his hometown. In a follow-up phone conversation, he casually asked if they had received his letter. However, this phone conversation was wiretapped, which led to his letter's being intercepted and opened by the Province's Public Security Office. As a result, Mr. Liu was sentenced to a forced labor term.

Earlier in June 24, 2003, Mr. Liu was already illegally detained overnight because of this incident by the Yanzhuang Town Police Station in Gangcheng District. The "610 office" and the Police Department also ransacked his home. Subsequently, the Laiwu Detention Center illegally detained him for eleven days. He was not released until he was tortured to the point of near death. One of his family members carried him on his back to take him home. Mr. Liu's parents were old and had multiple health problems. Upon seeing their son being tortured like that, they burst into tears. According to our source, Mr. Liu who is only 28 years of age, is an employee of Panxi Coal Mine in Gangcheng District. Because he insisted on his belief he has been detained unjustly three times by the Laiwu Detention Center. Mr. Liu was forced to leave his home and a wife who now has to take care of their eight-month old baby on her own.

Mr. Bai Sanyuan and his wife, Mrs. Wang Genti, are Falun Dafa practitioners in Pingbao Town, Jingyuan County, Gansu Province. After they obtained the Fa, they strove forward ceaselessly. At the end of 2000, they filled a big pack with truth-clarification materials and prepared to go to Beijing to validate Dafa; however, they were abducted at the train station by police. Later, they were also illegally detained in the Xiguoyuan Detention Center in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. Since then, they have been sent to jail many times. The police asked them to sign the warrant for the arrest, but every time they rejected it with righteous thoughts and never cooperated with the police. They firmly believe in Teacher. Those around them admire and highly praise their hearts of firm belief in Dafa. Later on, Ms. Wang Genti was sent to a forced labor camp. In autumn of 2001, Bai Sanyuan's younger sister was also abducted by the local police because she practiced Falun Dafa and spread awareness about the persecution of Falun Dafa. Later, she was sent to Gansu Province's First Detention Center for a year of forced labor.

At the end of May 2001, Bai Sanyuan and another Dafa practitioner, He Jianzhong, were forcibly brought to the Court of Chengguan District, Lanzhou city, for sentencing. In court, they spoke justly, and shouted loudly "Falun Dafa is good!" They definitely did not accept the unjust sentence that the judge was trying to force on them. They asked the judge, "The constitution says that a citizen has the right to believe freely and the right to appeal to the higher authorities for help. After Falun Dafa was illegally persecuted by Jiang, Dafa practitioners went to the higher authorities to appeal against the unjust treatment of Dafa. What crime was committed? What kind of crime is committed by believing in ¡®Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance'? What kind of crime is committed when a good person uses ¡®Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance' to guide his life?" Finally, the judge was rendered speechless by their query and did not know what to do. He had to hastily wind up the trial half way through and announced that the trial would reopen after a recess. The trial did not reach any conclusion. However, several months later, Bai Sanyuan received a written judgment saying that he was sentenced to three years' imprisonment.

After being sentenced, Bai Sanyuan was resolute in not accepting the judgment and lodged an appeal at the Lanzhou City Intermediate Court.

During his detention in the eleventh group of the Xiguoyuan Detention Center, Bai Sanyuan protested the police's persecution of Dafa practitioners many times by going on a hunger strike. Police officer Yang Linquan from the medical station at that time (he has been transferred to the Lanzhou City Second Detention Center now) led several criminals in force feeding Bai Sanyuan through a tube on many occasions and in the name of "saving his life." Under the instigation of police officer Yang, those criminals tortured Bai Sanyuan using "intubation." They did not insert the gastric tube into his stomach directly, but roughly jabbed it up and down after they inserted the tube into his esophagus. It took a very long time to insert a gastric tube and Bai Sanyuan's esophagus bled for a long time because of the rough treatment. Police officer Yang stood aside and sneered with vicious words, "I watched you go on hunger strike. You have experienced it now, so which would you prefer? Eating by yourself or having us feed you forcefully?" The things forced into his stomach were not all food, but often a very concentrated salt solution. One time, they even put more than 250 grams of salt into a small plastic bowl and then forcibly fed him with it. This caused his stomach to burn and put him through excruciating pain. Finally, all of what he threw up from his stomach was dry salt chunks.

The condition of cells in the Xiguoyuan Detention Center is very bad. It is dark and damp (many persons suffered boils or scabies due to the dampness), dirty (most people in cells have a number of parasites), crowded (18 to 24 people packed into a cell of 16 square meters [about 160 square feet]). One light bulb of 36 volts, 25 watts is used, which looks like a "ghost lamp". Because of the long-term persecution, Bai Sanyuan's health became worse and worse. He had very serious scabies all over his body that oozed with pus from his hands to his feet, so that it was difficult to even look at him. In September 2002, he went on a hunger strike again to protest the long-term illegal detention. At that time, he was already very weak and thin. After force feeding him, the detention center found they still could not reach their aim. They were afraid of bearing the responsibility if any problems occurred, so they sent him to the Gansu Province Prison Hospital, which is called Kangtai Hospital to the outside world. The doctors in the hospital saw him continuously go on hunger strike, and then tied him to a bed and forcibly gave him an intravenous injection. At the end of October 2002, the detention center saw his life was not in danger, and they would have to pay the bill if he still remained in the hospital. Therefore, Zhao Guanhu, the director of the medical station in the Xiguoyuan Detention Center, brought him back to the detention center in the name of "being released on bail for medical treatment." At that time, Mr. Bai Sanyuan could not walk on his own and he could barely stand up, only doing so with his hand on the bed. After being taken back to the detention center, he was continuously kept in the detention center's medical station.

Mr. Zhao Benyong, 38, known for his integrity at the workplace and holding a bachelor's degree, was a former Instructor from the Sichuan Aerospace Industrial College. Toward the end of 1994, Mr. Zhao became a Falun Gong practitioner.

In May 2000 he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. As a result, the college suspended his salary, paying him only 200 Yuan a month to cover basic expenses. The "610 Office" * in the city instructed the local police and his college to set up long term surveillance of him.

He wasn't free to travel, even during holidays. Mr. Zhao was forced to leave his home and went into hiding. The Aerospace Industrial College fired him after that.

On February 1, 2001, Mr. Zhao was arrested in the Chenghua District, Chengdu City. He was detained in the Pi County Detention Center for a year and a half.

In June 2003, after Zhao Benyong refused to give up Falun Gong, the officials from Chenghua District Court secretly sentenced him to 10 years in prison. He is now serving his sentence in Deyang Prison, Sichuan Province.

(Clearwisdom.net September 23, 2003) Lately, the Xiong County 610 Office [An agency specifically created to persecute?Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] picked more than 10 people from various legislative departments to put together another brainwashing class to torture Falun Dafa practitioners. The class is located near the shooting range in Xiong Xian, Da Ying Zuen.

The brainwashing class at Xiong Xian tortured Dafa practitioners psychologically and physically. The head of the last brainwashing class, Xieng Feng Jun and his followers (Feng ZhiQiong, Shen HeiFeng, Zhao QiXuei, Xei YuHua, etc) beat determined Falun Dafa practitioners and forced them to curse at Master Li and Falun Dafa. They abducted practitioners and forced their families to pay money for their return. They stripped female Falun Dafa practitioners naked and beat them while cursing at them. They used pliers to squeeze female practitioner's nipples. They used an electric bar to shock practitioners and a rubber stick to whip them on the back and buttocks until they were black and blue. They slapped practitioners' faces continually until they were swollen and their gums were bleeding. Many times those officers beat practitioners until they passed out, and then poured cold water on them to wake them up and continue the torture. They burned practitioners' feet with cigarettes and hung them in the air for several hours at a time. They forced practitioners to kneel on wooden sticks and then stepped hard on the practitioners' legs, causing intolerable pain in the practitioner's knees. They groped unmarried young women.

At about 2pm on May 24^th, 2003, a group of people headed by Xiong Xian Political Office officer Su ShiLong and Zhao DaPing, searched a Falun Dafa practitioner's home for no reason. They stole more than 2000 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] from this practitioner's house when the family was not watching. Two days later at 2am in the morning, the same group of officers illegally searched another Falun Dafa practitioner's home and took about 4000 Yuan. They also abducted the practitioner, (the practitioner returned two days later after the family member negotiated with the officers) and took his company computer (it was given back later, but the printer has still not been returned).

At about 4pm on August 18^th, 2003, more than 10 Long Wan Xiong policemen illegally searched an elderly Falun Dafa practitioner's home at Yi Ge village for no reason. Several older practitioners were there practicing at the time (two of them in their 70's, two in their 60's, one in his 50's). The sudden intrusion shocked them. The policemen confiscated Falun Dafa materials and forced several of the elderly practitioners to write a "guarantee note" (a note promising to give up the practice of Falun Dafa and not associate with Falun Dafa practitioners). They were going to arrest the practitioners, but they did not do so because two of them showed symptoms of severe physical conditions. After the policemen left, the family discovered the police had stolen all of the family's 450-Yuan savings. One of the family members went to the village office to ask for the return of the money, but the village officer said there was no evidence and dismissed the incident.

On the evening of September 15^th, 2003, the Xiang 610 Office, and the Political Office captured a couple from Kong Ma village and put them in the Xiong Xian brainwashing class. The couple has five children at home and nobody to care for them. It was the harvest season and their crops were not harvested. Two days before they were captured, the policemen went to this couple's home to force them to write the "guarantee note" but the couple had refused.

At about 6am on September 19^th, 2003 (the time when Jiang was at Hue Bei, Bao Ding), more than 40 policemen from the Xian 610 office and the area Political Office illegally broke into a male Falun Dafa practitioner's home at Chu Wang village. They beat the practitioner in front of his family and arrested him.

I live in the Northeast China and started cultivating Falun Dafa in July 1997, when I was 17 years old. Before I started my cultivation, I did not recognize the value of a good education or the meaning of life, and my grades were bad. Through cultivation in Dafa, I found the meaning of life; I passed the required national tests, and started to study medicine.

My family runs a clinic and we have easy access to medicine. My mother took countless drugs but was unable to cure her arthritis for 30 years and suffered from many side effects of the medication, before she started her cultivation. After we started cultivating within Dafa, my father's high blood pressure and heart disease, my younger brother's migraine headaches, my mother's various illnesses, and my osteomalacia were all cured. Three of my maternal aunts and two uncles all became healthy because they cultivated Dafa. Amazingly, one of the aunts can read through Zhuan Falun now, although she never went to school and was illiterate before! My previously dysfunctional family had become harmonious and peaceful.

This was the situation when the persecution started on July 20, 1999. My younger brother and I went to the State Department's Appeal Office in Beijing on January 13, 2000, but found that at the place all applicants were arrested on the spot. All vehicles belonging to the Provincial Beijing Liaison Offices were waiting there along with 50-60 plainclothes police officers. I started to sit in the lotus position after I was arrested and a policeman immediately shouted at me viciously to stop. I continued to sit still and he kicked me with his leather boots. They asked me stand up, so I practiced the second exercise in the standing position. They shouted at me, threatening to chop off my hands if I continued to do the exercises. Just then, a very nice policeman called me over for a talk. He asked me why I had come to appeal and what the teachings of Falun Dafa were. I then told him that Falun Dafa is teaching people to be good, to cultivate their hearts, do good deeds, be kind to others, and to give up their greed and all desires. I further told him that we are required to look inwards for our own errors when we run across conflicts and that I enlightened to higher, deeper inner meanings through studying Dafa. I also explained that I used to be suicidal, because I had a congenital deformity, and no hope in life. I said that by cultivating Falun Dafa, I learned that the purpose of life is to cultivate into a person of high virtue. He understood what I had to say.

We were then taken to the Liaison Office of city A in Beijing, where they took down my home address, took away all our money, some policemen even doing body searches for money. They extorted more than 500 Yuan from my brother and me. We started reading Zhuan Falun, since two fellow practitioners brought their books with them. Suddenly two policemen stormed in and cursed loudly, grabbing the hair of the fellow practitioner who had been reading the book. We were shocked. We heard more tragic cries accompanied by curses coming from the hallway. I saw through a gap in the door how four or five policemen beat that fellow practitioner, who was rolling on the floor for more than ten minutes. One policeman stepped on the practitioner's head, forcing him to face the floor, and then intentionally twisted and pressed down hard on his head. My heart ached when I witnessed these events. This scene was deeply impressed upon my heart.

On the next day, the police sent us home in handcuffs. At our local police substation I was asked whether I brought any money. Later I learned that the State Government required us to pay 120 Yuan each for our train tickets. In addition, the police in Beijing and at the local substation charged us twice the amount again. We were detained in the police substation more than ten days. In the meantime, my mother, who had gone to Beijing to appeal, was intercepted at the train station and held in a detention center. My father was arrested while treating a patient. They detained the three of us in the same cell. Thus, four out of five family members were illegally detained at the same time. Only my sister was left at home to send supplies for us to the jail. Our family was forced to pay a total of 9,500 Yuan at that time. An additional 20 thousand Yuan were extorted from us later, which constituted our combined savings of many years.

During the past four years, my father has been jailed or imprisoned in labor camps five times in 20 months, and my mother three times in 11 months. Police detained me six or seven more days after illegally detaining me for 15 days, in order to force my brother and me to sign the so-called "Guarantee Statements" [In this statement the practitioner is forced to admit remorse for practicing Falun Gong, promise to give up Falun Gong, and never again associate with other practitioners or go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong.] promising not to appeal during the period of the congressional meetings, and then released us. Now I solemnly declare that my signature was coerced and that my "Guarantee Statements" are null and void. My younger brother, who used to attend middle school in city B, had to pay 9,000 Yuan alone. His principal forced him choose between cultivating Falun Dafa and going to school. He chose in favor of Falun Dafa, and was expelled by the school; he was reimbursed only 500 Yuan of the total fees. My uncle took me to city C, so I could continue my medical studies.

During summer vacations, when I came back home I missed my parents, who were imprisoned in the labor camps. I also heard that one of my father's brothers became destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home again. His wife cried everyday. When one of my other uncles went to a relative's house to temporarily hide from being arrested, he was turned away! Fortunately, another Falun Dafa practitioner took him in. I also heard that a policeman with an electric baton shocked my father, who has high blood pressure and heart disease more than ten times, each time lasting more than ten minutes. One sadistic person kicked my father in the chest, causing him such extreme pain that he was not able to take deep breaths for 4-5 days. I dared not to visit my father, because all visitors have to step on Master Li's photo and curse Master. I was so anguished that I was close to collapsing!

The deceptive propaganda was still blanketing the whole country. We heard news of Falun Dafa practitioners being tortured, raped, and killed every day. The trust in our government that I had formed since childhood had been totally destroyed. I was preoccupied with heavy thoughts every day, my conscience and fear clashed with each other. Under the influence of this cloud of sheer terror in Mainland China, I succumbed to the evil. My whole personality changed. I had no more goals left in life and my grades went down. I started to compete with my classmates, no longer being truthful or compassionate, and I even started drinking. I cried loudly, why did the vicious thoughts come back after I had eliminated them so thoroughly?

I realized that my decline was because I was no longer a Falun Dafa disciple. Since there were no more moral restrictions in my mind, I lost the guidance of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. I lost control and I betrayed my conscience. I still realized that I could not leave Falun Dafa, and that I must cultivate Falun Dafa in order to be a good person. Thanks to a fellow practitioner's strong righteous thoughts I found my way back to the righteous path after 18 months; I left the dark valley of the soul. I kneeled in front of Master's photo, and sincerely repented. I no longer pursue comfort or fear death. I no longer fear the evil of Jiang and his regime. I am no longer separated from Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance, and try very hard to clarify the truth to people.

I had been transferred from my previous medical vocational school to a medical college in City B more than a year ago, where no one knew I studied Falun Dafa. My kind schoolmates had all been deceived by the lying media. I then started to explain the truth to them. One day, a video slandering Falun Dafa was broadcast on our class TV. Four or five of our classmates shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" This incident shocked the whole school. Three days later, Vice Principal Liu took me to my dorm, asked my opinion on the so-called "Tiananmen Self-immolation", and illegally searched my personal belongings, where he found my Dafa Books.

They continued to interrogate me in the Principal's Office; one teacher recorded our conversation. I then analyzed in detail how the government staged the "Tiananmen Square murder/framing incident." They asked me to write a "Dissociation Statement" [A statement to declare a dissociation from Falun Gong and promise not go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong]. I refused, and requested several times to call my family, which they did not allow me to do. At one point, the Assistant Principal went to look for the Principal, he assigned two teachers to watch me. I told them that I demanded my basic human rights and freedom of belief. In reply, Teacher Zhang shouted at me, "We'll see if you still have human rights when you are dead!"

My homeroom teacher Sheng had been assigned to watch me during dinner at the dining hall. Not a single classmate dared to speak with me. The principal came, but still would not allow me to call my family. He asked me to pay a fine. I told him that my family had already been fined more than 20 thousand Yuan, and that they have no more money. He asked me again to sign a "Dissociation Statement" But I firmly replied that we were trying to be good people, and refused to sign. The Principal said, "Then you have to be expelled." I argued that this was not fair. Finally they forced me to write a resignation letter stating that I wanted to resign because I had no money for my tuition, while in fact I had already paid 4000 Yuan in tuition for the semester. I did not get back this money when I left. They withheld my Dafa Books and my address book. When I went back to our classroom to collect my study materials, I was escorted by three teachers. My classmates were shocked. They never imagined that I would be expelled just for cultivating Falun Dafa. The leaders of the school said to me, "If you write a "Dissociation Statement," our school will welcome you back any time."

I want to condemn dictator Jiang for cruelly persecuting good people who follow the great virtues of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance! The crimes Jiang and his regime have committed must be put on trial on the stage of history!

We honor and recognize the first annual celebration of Falun Dafa Week in Fresno County and urge all citizens to participate in this exercise and meditation practice known to improve health, calm minds, and deepen understanding of life and humanity.

Before I obtained the Fa I had many diseases, including a colon inflammation for over 20 years and diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH). I also had arthritis in my neck, which made me sleepy and weak, and because of it I would even lose consciousness sometimes. Later the condition deteriorated to such an extent that I could not move, and so I was hospitalized for six years. I also stayed at home for two years. Both Chinese medicine and western medicine did not work for me, and so I resorted to qigong for help. I learned over a dozen forms of qigong, and over time I took five senior monks as Masters, asking them to cure my diseases. Even though my diseases did improve to some extent, they were not cured completely, and I could barely go a day without medication. In the beginning of March 1994, I received a Falun Gong book by chance and found myself really attracted to the teachings.

Three or four days later, I went to attend Master Li's lecture held in Shijiazhuang. Soon after, I was lucky enough to attend Master's lecture in Tianjin, where I got a seat in the front row and could see Master clearly. When the Tianjin lecture came to an end, everyone was asked to write an experience-sharing article. In my article, I mentioned, "I cried this time when I parted from Master." One fellow practitioner read it and she told me about a lecture coming up in Dalian. After the Dalian lecture, I followed Master to Jinzhou. Two months later, I went to Jinan. In this way, very smoothly, I heard Teacher lecture at five different lecture series.

My body was purified after I attended my first series of lectures in Shijiazhuang. The third day, after the lecture, Master told us that some people would begin to feel physically uncomfortable, as our bodies began to be purified. Those who had illnesses might experience chills or feverish feelings, and pain as if they were suffering from a serious cold. The root of the diseases would be eliminated, and we had to endure a little bit. After hearing all this, I did not actually believe it. I thought to myself, as I was walking back to my hotel, "Master, you look so young, how can you be so capable? Does what you say apply to me?" My room was on the fifth floor. I barely reached the stairs before I began to feel pain. I felt very cold and was out of breath. I climbed the stairs by holding the handrails. I flopped down on the bed upon entering the room. Xiao Zhang, a fellow practitioner asked me to get up and eat, but I told him that I was too uncomfortable to eat. The entire day I stayed in bed and did not eat a single bite. At about 6:00 p.m., I remembered Master Li had said that even if you have a very strong reaction, you had to keep coming, otherwise you might lose out. Remembering this, I asked Xiao Zhang to hold me so I could walk to the front door to take the bus. As I got to the lecture hall and heard Master Li's lecture, I felt very energetic. The next day, again, I lay in bed for the entire day and ate very little. Without Master's reminders, I do not know what I would have done. On the fourth day, my mind and heart suddenly felt very light and energetic, with no feeling of being sick at all. I tried to jump and could jump up very high, and walk very quickly. I came to see for myself, the truth of what Master had said. I felt a lot of admiration for Teacher. Since that day, eight years ago, I have not taken a single pill and have saved my employer thousands of dollars in medical expenses.

1). In March 1994, in Shijiazhuang, in order to save practitioners coming from other areas money for accommodation costs, Teacher shortened the ten-day lectures to eight days, but he did not reduce the actual number of lectures he gave. Master did not have any break and gave two lectures a day on Sunday and Saturday.

2). Various Qigong Associations gave invitations to Master Li. In January his schedule was fully booked for the first half of the year. So when the session of lectures finished in Shijiazhuang, he did not take any break, and headed off for the next session. He was busy night and day. He asked every practitioner to write an experience-sharing article after the lectures ended. He would then read every article on the train. Even when he was not giving lectures, he was busy dealing with many other things. When the phone rang, practitioners would pick it up, trying not to disturb Teacher. Day and night he was very busy thinking about practitioners and trying to save them money.

a). When Master Li gave lectures in China, it was the Qigong Research Institute who organized the lectures and invited him. During those days famous qigong masters usually collected thousands of Yuan when they gave lectures and sometimes they did not even show up personally. The Qigong Research Institute charged every student at least 70-80 Yuan for attending Master Li's lectures. In order to save practitioners money Master Li had to negotiate with them and finally the fees were reduced to about 50 Yuan.

b). At the conclusion of every lecture series, we would take group photographs. Master would show concern that the price for taking the photos would increase practitioners' financial burden. One time when we finished our Jinzhou classes, some of us wanted to invite a professional photographer to take our picture, with each photo costing over ten Yuan. Teacher said it was too expensive, and so we got a fellow practitioner to take the photos for us, each photo cost only two Yuan. Teacher was pleased.

c). Master had a very simple lifestyle. Whether it was winter or summer, he always had only his two black suits and white shirts. Teacher was always well groomed and always kept his clothes in good shape. Master also did not waste any food. I was told that once Master Li was having a meal with three practitioners. Four of them bought five boxes of rice, and one was left over. The next day the extra box of rice went bad and practitioners wanted to throw it away. Master did not allow them to throw it away, and simply ate it himself. While he was having his meal, Master reminded the practitioners not to waste even a single grain of rice.

4. More Impressions of Teacher

Teacher is tall, young and handsome. He is very solemn and elegant, and his voice is very pleasant. I would always be so happy to see him. He is so compassionate and patient. Without any script or a break he gave two-hour lectures everyday. When teaching the exercises, Teacher asked one practitioner to go to the stage to do the exercises, and he walked off the stage and around to the other side to correct the practitioner's exercise movements. After each series of lectures, he would take pictures with us. After taking a photograph I would go with him and other practitioners. In Jinan we had largest attendance at that time. All the five thousand seats in a big gym in Huangting were taken.

5. I Grew Mature Gradually During Fa-rectification

After several years of cultivation, I gradually matured. At the beginning of May 2000, I, together with some fellow practitioners stepped forward and went to Tiananmen Square to unfurl our banners. We were arrested and sent back to the local detention center. The local police tried to sentence me to three years of forced labor and sent me back to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp. On the way to the camp, they tried to force me to give up cultivation, saying: "If you write a guarantee letter, we will let you go home." At that time, I was determined, thinking that it was Master and Dafa that had saved and given me such a healthy body and I would remain steadfast in cultivation. I would not be fearful no matter how difficult and vicious the labor camp was. I rejected them firmly. When I had my physical examination, the doctor said that I had skeletal hyperostosis in my neck and knee and I could not work. I thought to myself. "I have completely recovered since Master Li purified my body, and I have no symptom of skeletal hyperostosis." I immediately realized that it was Master who was helping me to go through the difficulties. And so I was sent home.

In September 2001, the public security bureau started to illegally arrest Falun Gong practitioners. One morning the chief of the local police station and four or five other policemen forcefully knocked on my door. I started to send forth righteous thoughts. I was very calm. No matter how aggressively they knocked I did not open the door. Two hours later, the police had no other choice but to leave. They went to find my supervisor and brought some others to knock at my door. I still did not open up. They resorted to phoning my child to open the door. When they opened the door and found that I was sending forth righteous thoughts, they became less hostile, pretending that they had just come over to see whether I had gone to Beijing or not. Later I came to know that they arrested over 20 Dafa practitioners and sent them to forced labor camp and brainwashing classes. From this incident, I understood that if you are determined in Dafa and keep your righteous thoughts, Teacher will arrange everything. Dangerous situations will turn out safely.

I will continue to try my best to do well the three things that Master Li has asked us to do, that is: study the Fa, clarify the truth, and send forth the righteous thoughts. I will use the standard of a Fa-rectification period Dafa practitioner to eliminate any remaining attachments as soon as possible. I will try to understand everything from within the Fa and leave no loopholes for the evil. I will determinedly follow the path arranged by Master Li, and continue to walk alongside my fellow practitioners on the path of validating Dafa with a righteous mind.

The formal name of the Hongweixing Brainwashing Class in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province is "Legal System Education School", when in fact it is a brainwashing class that violates China's Constitution.

The sign hung on the gate has been removed. No one knows when it was taken down. The brainwashing class is located in building 1-9 of the Hongweixing residential area in Daqing City, which is a hard-to-find place. Now that the sign has been removed, it is even harder to find the place. When it was first established, it was kept a secret. Very few people know there is such a "Legal System Education School" in Daqing. Now even fewer people know what Hongweixing is used for.

Brainwashing classes are the dark dens of the old forces and they are most afraid of being exposed to the world. When Dafa practitioners clarify the truth, more and more people can come to understand the crimes committed against practitioners.

Banners appearing all over the country reading, "Falun Dafa is Good," "Eliminate the Evil of the Brainwashing Class" and "Bring Jiang Zemin to Trial All Over the World" are telling people that it is not far from the day when the evil is eradicated.

(Clearwisdom.net) I would like to briefly share my understanding on a simple issue that seems to surface in a lot of things that we as Dafa practitioners are doing these days. A lot of practitioners have shared their understandings on the attachment to doing things and I appreciated the chance to read those. As I see it, what we are doing today all come from our own hearts and all the sacrifices we make, and we make them because we choose to do so. We are giving our all in order to save sentient beings in the face of all kinds of pressures, and in this we display our mighty virtue and we are in fact doing it for ourselves. It is our sentient beings we are saving and it is our Paradises we are enriching, and we help each other in doing so. But how much a person wants to give, how he chooses to balance all things he is doing is his own matter. It seems unnecessary to me to expect of others what we expect of ourselves. Why should we pressure others into doing something? A lot of practitioners stress that we must clarify the truth in this or that way. But is it a matter of obligation or is it something that is voluntarily and that comes from a person's heart? I'd like to think that we should do the three things mentioned by Master but never as something forced. As particles of Dafa it should be only natural to do so and from that perspective there should not be a need to push or pressure each other into doing so. It is my understanding that Master has never pressured us into anything, so why should we practitioners act differently when it comes to this? We all should be aware of the importance of the things we are doing today, but we cannot forget to cultivate ourselves in the midst of this. The things we are to enlighten to and how we perceive things may differ a great deal; hence the paths we take that are arranged accordingly are different.

This is my personal understanding.

Many westerners have long been wondering why so many Chinese were involved in irrational and fanatical movements, for instance the Cultural Revolution. The answer may be found in present day China by studying how people's opinions about Falun Gong have been manipulated by Jiang Zemin's regime.

The following items may provide the reader with a more profound understanding of how the Chinese authorities manipulate people with poisonous deceit, lies and slander. The effect here from has been disastrous:

• Propaganda branding Falun Gong as a cult or a sect is used to mislead the religious circle
• Allegations that Falun Gong practitioners are murdering people and killing themselves are concocted for the kind-hearted
• Lies that Falun Gong practitioners are uneducated and superstitious are designed for the well-educated
• Pure hate propaganda is spread for everyone
• The patriotic and the apolitical are instigated by the claim that Falun Gong is political and receives money from overseas anti-China powers

Based on the Jiang regime's implementation of this meticulously planned strategy, many people got a negative impression of Falun Gong, and there is today another weapon to control people's minds: money.

Matters like wages, promotions, benefits and the like, and furthermore access to education and employment, are all things related to one's attitude towards Falun Gong. If you are not following the party's policies towards Falun Gong, you are made a victim and lose your civil rights. The same type of coercion through money is employed in trading with other nations, in order to ensure that the governments of these countries are turning a blind eye to China's human rights violations.

Over the course of more than four years, a worldwide persecution of Falun Gong has been carried out. So many people all over the world, not just Chinese people, have been dragged into being involved in this persecution in one way or the other.

By comparing China's past actions with the country's present policies, the reader may be able to see the answer to the original question posed by this article more clearly.

(Clearwisdom.net October 16) On October 12, the International Joint Chamber of Commerce in Badong, Bali, Indonesia held a series of activities against terrorism and memorializing those who died in the bombing incident a year ago. The parade composed of more than 40 groups, circling the vibrant streets of Bali for four kilometers. Peaceful Falun Gong procession appeared in the parade, led by a beautifully decorated float, on which some practitioners did sitting meditation. People watching the parade said, "Please be quiet, Falun Gong is coming." The practitioners also practiced the exercises at the beach. The peaceful, harmonious scene attracted the attention of many people passing by. Some people learned to practice the exercises on the spot.

On October 13, the largest Thanksgiving Parade took place in Kitchener, Waterloo. This event is listed in the top 100 events of North America, and it attracts about 300,000 visitors each year. This year is the event's 35^th anniversary and there were 130 groups participating in the parade. Falun Gong practitioners from Canada joined the parade to promote Falun Dafa and introduce Chinese traditional culture. The Falun Gong procession was composed of the Waist Drum Team, Lotus Flower Float, Taiwan Gaoshan Traditional Costumes, Tibet Costumes, and Fan Dance Teams. A lot of bystanders remarked, "The Falun Gong procession is really great." Canada's CTV broadcast the parade live and introduced Falun Gong.

The practitioners participating in the activity deeply felt that all practitioners were one integrated body. The drum team, dance team and exercise demonstration team members were from Toronto. In order to avoid traffic, the dance team members got up at 4 a.m. to prepare and drove to Waterloo. The drum team members had only five days to prepare before the parade. They used their spare time to practice, and they practiced so hard that many of them could hardly raise their arms. The practitioners from Kitchener and Waterloo were responsible for coordination and float decoration. Practitioners from Hamilton were in charge of distributing flyers before the parade. All practitioners gave of themselves and merged into the group so that the parade reached the goal of promoting Falun Dafa and clarifying the truth.

Some anecdotes during the parade:

• The audience waved their hands following the rhythm of the waist drum team and there was continuous applause along the way. When the drum team stopped performing, the audience said, "Keep going! Keep going!"
• Some Chinese visitors watched and videotaped the Falun Gong performance.
• A practitioner on the drum team said, "Today I truly experienced ¡®The Stage is being set for the Fa!'"
• One visitor saw the practitioners practice meditation in Tang Dynasty costumes and said to friends that the meditation was beautiful.
• One practitioner's husband (not a practitioner) volunteered to take water to those who came from afar.

(Clearwisdom.net October 15) Today (October 11), the weather was fine and pleasant. About 200 practitioners from different cities and counties of Taipei gathered at 4:00 p.m. in Rongxing Garden in Taipei to hold a Fa-promotion activity. The wonderful atmosphere in the garden made everything--people, grass, flowers and trees--appear radiant. The practitioners once again displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa to people. We found that many more people have clearly seen the evil nature of the persecution in China, and more people have gained a positive understanding of Falun Dafa.

The first phase of our activity was an exercise demonstration. Practitioners wearing bright yellow exercise suits demonstrated the five sets of exercises. The elegant movements and peaceful, compassionate energy field drew people passing by. Some people sat in front of our booth to look at Dafa truth-clarifying materials while watching us perform the exercises. Some stopped to take pictures and took videos of us. Many people passing our booth took materials and asked in detail about the Falun Gong exercises. They also wanted to learn the exercises.

The second phase consisted of teaching songs composed by Dafa practitioners. While we were in high spirits, suddenly it rained, but soon the rain stopped and we continued our activity. The beautiful songs and music composed by Dafa practitioners touched people's hearts. Finally, the activity concluded with the song, "Falun Dafa is good."

From this Fa-promotion activity, we felt that more and more people have seen the evil nature of the persecution in China. People have become more and more clear-headed, and have a positive understanding of Falun Dafa. More predestined people have prepared a beautiful future for their cultivation.

Liang Aichun, over 50 years old, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shandong Province. This practitioner was illegally arrested from home during the 2002 Chinese Lunar New Year. Liang Aichun was very healthy when arrested, but has become extremely weak and has presently suffered a mental collapse due to severe torture. The police are not allowing anybody to visit Liang Aichun.

In a big city in Northern China, two banners were hung up along a main street at noon on August 16 and again on September 23. One banner reads, "Cultivating Falun Dafa; Genuine Practitioners Do Not Commit Self-Immolation." The other banner reads, "Cultivating Truth-Compassion-Tolerance; Health Improved & Morality Upgraded." There were a lot of people reading the banners, but nobody tried to remove them. People in the world are awakening and admiring Falun Dafa practitioners' courage and wisdom. The first banner stayed up for over two hours, while the second banner was displayed for over forty minutes before someone took them down.

On the evening of September 19, Falun Dafa practitioners in Northeast China hung up many truth-clarifying banners throughout a large area. All practitioners came back safely from the banner-hanging project. The banners read, "Bring Jiang to Justice!" and "The Self-Immolation at Tian'anmen Square Was Staged!"

In the days around August 23, Falun Dafa practitioners distributed lots of truth-clarifying VCDs during office hours inside the government office buildings of a large city in Northern China. Each time they delivered the VCDs, Dafa practitioners walked out the well-guarded government office buildings openly and nobly. Their actions shocked the officers of the municipal government.

Diao Shuanyun, 28 years old, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Songyuan City. Wei Dong, He Bo and other policemen from the Lanzhou Public Security Bureau illegally arrested her on September 18, 2002. Ms. Diao had been forced to become destitute and homeless at that time, in order to avoid arrest. The police sent her to the No.2 Detention Center in Lanzhou City. By the end of September, Ms. Diao was taken back to the Songyuan Detention Center, where she was sentenced to five years in a forced labor camp. In July 2003, she was transferred to the notorious Heizuizi Female Prison, where she went on a hunger strike, protesting the detention. Three days later, Ms. Diao was sent back to Songyuan. However, the "610 Office" in Songyuan City once again sent her to the Heizuizi Female Prison in early August [the "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems]. Currently, Ms. Diao is still on hunger strike and subject to brutal persecution.

Zhu Shenglin, Liu Shiwei, and Zhao Dongli are policemen from the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp, all actively involved in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. They beat Mr. Sun Xianming and several other Falun Dafa practitioners until they became disabled. Liu Aiguo, head of No.7 Team, committed the crimes of slandering the heavenly Fa, and seriously harming sentient beings. Liu Haibo, a police guard, extended the prison terms for practitioners who refused to write the so-called "three statements of guarantee," [to renounce Falun Dafa] in order to keep Falun Dafa practitioners in detention and persecute them over a long term.

The No. 5 Team of the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp tried to transform Falun Dafa practitioners by using former practitioners against them, including Hou Zhenhai, who had "enlightened" along an evil path due to brainwashing and torture.

Shao Weixin, a Falun Dafa practitioner detained in the No.2 Team of the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp, recently declared that he (she) has come back to the cultivation practice of Falun Dafa and declared void the "three statements" he (she) wrote under pressure.

Yuan Dachuan who used to work at the Politics & Security Section of the Yuyuan Public Security Branch in Changchun City, has actively involved himself in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. He has currently been transferred to the Criminal Team. He once beat and injured Yan Weihua and several other practitioners.

On September 9, 2003, Guangzhou practitioner Chen Sudan went missing while distributing truth-clarifying materials in Shenzhen City. Chen Sudan's current whereabouts are unknown, and it is suspected that this practitioner has been arrested.

In mid May, Luo Gan visited Jiaozuo City. Wherever he goes, disasters follow. During the few days that he was in Jiaozuo City, it was very cloudy and misty. Security guards could be seen everywhere. The traffic was blocked for several hours because of him.

Brainwashing classes started in Jiaozuo City once again in May. Over a dozen Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested. In order to brainwash Falun Dafa practitioners, people from Hebei Province were specially organized to come and help with the brainwashing class.

On August 19, the Minghui website reported news regarding the persecution of Wang Jingsong. Wang Jingsong, a 39-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner, is a doctor from the No.3 Hospital in Wuhan City. Since July 25, when he was sent to the Hewan Forced Labor Camp, he has been detained under strict supervision together with over a dozen drug addicts. In a small cell measuring less than twenty square meters, he is subjected to all means of torture, including force-feeding and beating. We are very concerned about Mr. Wang's situation, and we hope that practitioners who see this news will send forth righteous thoughts for him.

The Ping'antai Forced Labor Camp has been a demon's den, persecuting Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners continuously. Policemen break into practitioners' homes without any legal procedures. They have forced practitioners to stand in the rain for several nights. Some practitioners were forced to stand up for a whole month because they didn't write the so-called "materials" [stating that they have renounced Falun Dafa]. One practitioner said, "Falun Dafa is good!" when he was forced to stand in a line. The police guard dragged him into a cell and instructed all the prisoners in the cell to beat him up. As a result of the beating, the practitioner lost consciousness and lost control of his bladder. Even so, he was still handcuffed to a bed and tortured for 48 hours continuously.

Hu Cheng, a practitioner from Chongli County, was arrested when he went to the Traffic Police Team to register his vehicle. He managed to escape the evil's control by using righteous thoughts, but had to become homeless and destitute in order to avoid further persecution. The "610 Office" and the local police kept harassing his family members and relatives in order to find his whereabouts so they could arrest him. One of his schoolmates (a non-practitioner) was implicated, and had to leave his home in order to avoid the intense harassment.

Police have posted a reward of 2,000 Yuan for the arrest of practitioner Li Haijun [500 Yuan is equal to the average salary of an urban worker]. Li Haijun had formerly been detained in a forced labor camp. After he was released, the police went to his home and tried to coerce him into writing the so-called "four statements" [renouncing Falun Dafa]. Because Li Haijun didn't yield to the evil pressure, he was arrested. Later, he escaped from the police's control with his righteous thoughts and had to become homeless to avoid further persecution. A happy family of three was thus separated. He has been destitute for over a year; however, the police keep harassing his parents and keep his parents under surveillance by hiring vicious people living nearby to monitor them.

Dong Yuqin, a practitioner from Dongfeng County, was arrested, for no reason, on September 25, 2003. Then she was sent to the Liaoyuan City Detention Center. It was heard that she shouted loudly, "Falun Dafa is good!" when she was arrested. People around admired her very much.

Great damage has been done to Dafa and Dafa practitioners in Dongliao County. It is reported that police even dig through coal piles with spades in practitioners' homes in order to find truth-clarifying materials. Police have also started to arrest, on a large scale, practitioners whose names are on their list. Consequently, almost all the practitioners in Dongliao County have had to become homeless and destitute in order to avoid being arrested.

We hope that practitioners outside China can help. Further, we hope that practitioners in Dongfeng County and Dongliao County will look within and pay more attention to the effect of practitioners as a whole body. Be sure not to lose heart. Instead, we should become more unshakable, we should calm down, study the Fa more and send forth righteous thoughts more. Don't find any excuse for our own attachments. We hope that we can coordinate better as a whole body and together resist the evil that is damaging Fa-rectification.

Xiangxiang practitioner Li Shizhong was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials at the end of 2002. He was subjected to all manner of tortures in the detention center. He was beaten up brutally five times. Mr. Li was also shocked with electric prods, forced to "carry a sword in the back" [A torture whereby the practitioner's hands are tied behind his back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together.], burned with cigarettes, kicked and hit. His persecutors stepped on his legs with heavy leather shoes and applied great pressure to his bones. They also struck both sides of his head with metal cups. Even today, Li Shizhong still cannot hear clearly. Xie Minghui, a policeman from the Ningxiang Public Security Bureau is the main person responsible for the torture. He is in charge of illegal interrogation of Falun Gong practitioners, and is the most vicious person in the Public Security Bureau.

According to a prisoner who was once held in the same ward as Fu Yibin, Fu Yibin was a mental patient, and he had never practiced Falun Gong. One day the thought of killing his family members came into his mind and he indeed killed them. The police then arrested him. While he was in a state of delusion, the officials taught him to repeat lies about himself and Falun Gong. After some editing was done, these lies ended up being what was shown on TV. After Fu Yibin became clearheaded, he saw himself on TV. He told the other prisoners in his ward that he had never practiced Falun Gong. He didn't accept the lies shown on TV.

Something like this can only make more and more people see the shamelessness of Jiang's regime, which wantonly slanders and frames Falun Gong.

Wang Huimin and his wife Hongni are Falun Dafa practitioners from Longmen village, Wuliang Township, Yuzhou City, Henan Province. They were reported on by village head Guo Liuyi because they told people the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. At midnight on September 20, a group of policemen broke into their home, and illegally ransacked it. At that time, Wang Huimin was not at home. Hongni was unlawfully arrested, and her whereabouts are unknown. Later on, the police sent over ten police cars to surround his home in an attempt to arrest Wang Huimin, but failed. Wang Huimin was forced to leave home and leave behind elderly people and a child.

On September 23, the head of security at the Qianan County's Police Department Song Xuejuan and six or seven policemen from the Qianan Township No.1 Police Station, including Wu Jingtao (assistant head of the police station), and Nie Junming (policeman), unlawfully broke into Dafa practitioner Wang Dechang's home, and unlawfully arrested the couple and their daughter (a non-practitioner). His wife Qu Shuxia was unlawfully sentenced to one year in forced labor camp, and she has already been sent to the Heizuizi Female Forced Labor Camp. Wang Dechang was sent to the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp, but they refused to take him in because of his physical condition. He is currently being held in the Qianan County Detention Center. His daughter Wang Xiuying is still being detained because she interfered with the police's search.

Li Baichun is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Yangzi Village, Shuizi Town, Qianan County, Songyan City, Jilin Province. At about 9 p.m. on September 22, five policemen including Head of the Shuizi Township Police Station Jiang Wencai, assistant head Hua Jingbo, and police officers Cai Yunfei, Wang Baoguo and Xing X unlawfully broke into Li Baichun's home. They unlawfully arrested Li Baichun, who was bailed out for medical reasons from the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp not long ago. He was illegally sent to the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp for one year of forced labor re-education.

Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Shuxian is over 60 years old and is a retired teacher from Wanggong Middle School in Yuzhou City, Henan Province. On September 29, the head of her school gave her a call, saying that the newly appointed principal wanted to see her and talk to her. Once Wang Shuxian entered the school, a guard from the Political and Security Section, who had been planted there, unlawfully arrested her. Her whereabouts are unknown.

The criminal court of Linghe District Court in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province plans to try Dafa practitioner Fu Yan's case. Dafa practitioners in Jinzhou City have used their righteous thoughts and negated the evil's attempt to try Fu Yan several times. Today, Fu Yan's family was again informed that the trial would be on October 17. Let us send forth righteous thoughts together to completely eliminate the old force's arrangement with our righteous thoughts and righteous actions.

Guan Suli, age 42, is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. She was formerly an interrogator in the public security system in Liaozhong County. At the end of 2001, she went to Beijing to appeal with another thirteen Dafa practitioners in two cars. Even before they left Shenyang, the Dafa practitioners in the two cars were all unlawfully arrested by police on the highway. The police also found several banners. Guan Suli was illegally sentenced to five years in jail. It has been reported that she has been sent to the Shenyang Dabei Female Prison.

At about 10 p.m. on September 30, 2003, all the police stations in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province received an order, requesting that they go to each Falun Gong practitioner's home. The police were asked to get to the practitioners' homes between 11 p.m. and midnight. They said that the practitioners were going to hang banners and post flyers on October 1, so they prohibited Falun Gong practitioners from going out to clarify the truth. Their act directly disturbed and affected the normal everyday lives of Falun Gong practitioners and their families. The Neighborhood Committees were ordered to secretly follow and monitor Falun Gong practitioners. The Neighborhood Committees officials were also distressed by having to do this.

In addition, seven Falun Dafa practitioners, who were formerly employees from the Chengdu Steel Pipe Factory, were illegally sentenced to forced labor re-education. They were sent to the Chuanxi Female Prison in Luodaihongan Township, Chengdu City in May 2003. These seven Dafa practitioners are Li Zhijie, Xiao Shubi, Yang Xiuqing, Du Peiyang, Zhang Kunxiu, Liu Xiaojuan and Zhao Zhufeng.

Handan City in Hebei Province held another brainwashing class, which was transferred from Yongnian to an driving school located on Xihuan Road in Handan City. Six Dafa practitioners were unlawfully arrested this time. Two of them escaped with righteous thoughts, and some went on a hunger strike to protest.

Recently, the Yuzhou City Party Committee in Henan Province published a book entitled Collection of Study Materials that Educate, Reform, and Consolidate "Falun Gong" Practitioners. It viciously slanders Falun Dafa and poisons people. They have sent this book to Dafa practitioners' homes.

Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. Also, as more and more people in China learn the truth about how they have been deceived and lied to by the Jiang regime, many non-practitioners are also submitting "solemn declarations."

On September 26, Chen Xinzhuang, the 48-year-old party secretary of Huaiyang county, Zhoukou city died of a sudden heart attack. Since earlier this year, the party committee and government of Huaiyang county has commanded the local 610* officials to illegally persecute local Dafa practitioners and destroy places where truth-clarifying materials are stored or produced.. In a working conference of Zhoukou city on July 31, Chen Xinzhuang was the only attendee who vowed to firmly fight Falun Gong to the end. Less than two months later he suddenly died of a heart attack.

Life is priceless and Dafa is merciful. Dafa practitioners have always been compassionate in their resistance to the persecution. We remind the authorities: Don't follow Jiang's regime to persecute good people. Try to give yourselves a chance by stopping your misdeeds and doing only good from now on.

Wang Qinglin died at the age of 51. He used to study Dafa himself, but after the persecution started on July 20, 1999, he went against his belief and attempted to destroy Dafa. In 2001 he was the commissar of the Taikang County detention center, where he cruelly tortured Dafa practitioners to extort "confessions" from them.

He halved the grain ration for Dafa practitioners and made exorbitant profits by forbidding their families to send them articles for everyday use. Instead, he sold the practitioners these articles at prices far above their market value.

In those days he really exerted himself in arresting Dafa practitioners and extorting confessions. Wang Qinglin almost lost his life four times when his vehicle turned over in traffic accidents after he started to attack Dafa. However, in spite of these warnings from Heaven, he regretted nothing and even said to Dafa practitioners: "I will not let you succeed in your cultivation if I can not succeed myself."
