(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] "610 Office" Abducts Practitioner
Zhang Mengye and His Wife Luo Muluan to a Brainwashing Class On the morning of May 17, 2002, practitioner Zhang Mengye and his wife Luo
Muluan went to visit Sui Xiao (a person who had gone astray and no longer
practiced Falun Gong) at his/her home. The police arrested the couple near Sui
Xiao's apartment building. Zhang and Luo had a phone conversation with Sui
before they visited him/her. The police probably monitored the call. Zhang
Mengye was sent to the brainwashing class inside Huangpu Drug Detoxification
Center in Guangzhou City. In the brainwashing class, members of the "610 Office" [Note: The "610
Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute
power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and
judiciary systems] hired some thugs to torture practitioners. Each
practitioner was locked in a cell with audio and video monitoring devices. Every
day, the persecutors forced the practitioners to watch video programs and read
materials that slandered Dafa and Teacher. After these materials were "studied,"
the persecutors tried to force the practitioners to write letters renouncing
Dafa by depriving them of sleep. If the practitioners wrote materials that
clarified the truth about Dafa, the persecutors immediately beat them up and
cursed Teacher and Dafa. They beat and cursed the practitioners, forced them to
stand upright without moving, and didn't allow them to sleep for days if the
materials written by the practitioners failed to meet their requirements. The most solid practitioners inside the brainwashing class were not allowed
to have any visitors. Zhang Mengye's mother is in her 80s, yet she was not
allowed to see her son. Because Zhang had exposed the persecution in a forced
labor camp, the persecutors were allowed to treat him even worse than usual. We
call for all kind-hearted people around the world to pay attention to this
issue. Zhang's wife Luo Muluan was sent to a brainwashing class in Guangzhou City
Legal Study School (located in Chatou, Baiyun District). 2. [Hulan County, Heilongjiang Province] The New Director of Hulan County
Political Protection Section Orders the Abduction of Practitioner Li Dongxue After the 2002 Spring Festival, the Hulan County Police Department frequently
harassed and abducted Dafa practitioners. After a new director of the Political
Protection Section, Wang Keda, arrived, the situation worsened. Since April, the
persecutors have illegally sent 2 practitioners to forced labor camps. They are
also detaining 6 practitioners in the county detention center (two of the 6
practitioners have been sentenced to jail terms). On the afternoon of May 24, 2002, the Political Protection Section planned to
arrest practitioner Li Dongxue. The persecutors first sent a police guard from
the local police station to Li's home (to make sure Li was there), and then Wang
Keda led several guards to knock on the door. Li Dongxue refused to open the
door. After a while, Li's husband (who is handicap) met the police guards when
he returned to his home. The persecutors lied to him and said that they just
wanted to take a look inside. However, once Li opened the door, the guards
rushed into the apartment and tried to arrest Li forcefully. Li firmly resisted;
frightened by the scene, Li's mother fainted on the spot. Wang Keda called in a
police van, and about 10 police guards forcefully carried Li into the van. At
this time, many people gathered around the building. Seeing so many police
guards brutally treat a lady like this, they were all indignant. Later on, Li's
husband went to the police department and asked them to release Li. However, the
police denied that they had lied to the husband and refused to release Li. As a
result of her arrest, Li Dongxue's family is in trouble: Her elderly mother,
handicapped husband, and young child all need to be taken care of. We strongly
call for kind people around the world to condemn such persecution. 3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ganjingzi Police Sub-Department and Paoya
Police Station Abduct Many Practitioners Yu Shanying is a 66-year-old practitioner who lives in Ganjingzi District of
Dalian City. Around 5 p.m. on May 14, 2002, some guards from Ganjingzi Police
Sub-Department and Paoya Police Station abducted Yu and ransacked his/her home.
Currently, Yu is kept under detention in Yaojia Detention Center. According to
incomplete statistics, about 10 practitioners were illegally abducted in Paoya
area on the night of May 14, 2002. 4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Xishan Police Station Abduct Ten
Practitioners There are many wicked guards in the Xishan Police Station of Dalian City. In
order to earn rewards (1000 Yuan for each practitioner they arrest) [The
average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is about 500 Yuan, but only
200 Yuan for a rural worker], they lurk near the doorways of practitioners'
homes for hours or even days. The guards intended to arrest practitioners on
April 24. In this way, they illegally arrested over 10 practitioners and sent
them to Yaojia Detention Center, where the practitioners are tortured. We call for the attention of all benevolent people around the world and we
strongly urge the Chinese government to stop such illegal deeds and to
unconditionally release all the detained practitioners. 5. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Dashan Forced Labor Camp Wildly
Persecutes Practitioners All the male practitioners around Qingdao City (including the counties and
nearby cities) who were sentenced to labor camp terms are detained at Dashan
Forced Labor Camp. (Female practitioners sentenced to labor camps are detained
at Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City.) The guards in Dashan Forced Labor Camp ferociously persecute those
practitioners who refuse to give up their beliefs. They order some collaborators
(people who used to practice Falun Dafa, but have been brainwashed by the
Jiang regime) to brainwash the practitioners, brutally torture them with
various methods, and deprive them of sleep for extended periods of time.
Recently, we heard that a practitioner named Wang Jiwei solemnly declared that
all he had written and said that does not conform to Dafa to be void. Many
guards immediately ganged up on him and brutally beat him. The practitioner was
then detained in a confinement cell, and his whereabouts remain unknown. We hope that people from all walks of life will help to stop the brutal
persecution. 6. [Anhui Province] College Student Fang Linmiao Illegally Sentenced to 1.5
Years in a Forced Labor Camp Practitioner Fang Linmiao is a senior in college. On May 1, 2002, Fang went
to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Dafa, speaking aloud the words "Falun Dafa is
Good" from his/her heart. The persecutors illegally sentenced Fang to 1.5 years
in a forced labor camp for such a peaceful appeal. 7. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Exposing the Atrocity in Shijiazhuang
Forced Labor Camp Around 5:30 p.m. on April 10, 2002, Wu Yuliang, director of Shijiazhuang
Forced Labor Camp, leading a group of armed guards abducted a practitioner (the
persecutors thought that the practitioner had organized a group practice in the
camp). When other practitioners asked them why this person had been taken away,
the guards did not reply. The persecutors then took all the practitioners that
were on hunger strikes to the dining hall in groups of 5 or 6 at a time. In the
dining hall, there were about 50 fully armed police in black uniforms, holding
both electric batons and regular police batons. They shouted at the
practitioners: "If you don't eat now, we will force-feed you!" Seeing the
practitioners remain silent, the guards took the practitioners to the third
floor. None of the practitioners were afraid. When the third floor became
filled, they took the rest of the practitioners to the second floor, and then to
the first floor. They brutally force-fed all the practitioners with concentrated
salt water and tried to force them to write "guarantee letters." Meanwhile, the
guards beat, shocked the practitioners with electric batons, and tortured them

moved a practitioner from floor to floor and tortured him/her for over 2 hours
until the practitioner was half dead. Here we sternly warn the wicked police
guards: you are violating the law. Director of the labor camp Wu Yuliang and
Commissar Wang personally led the guards and committed these crimes. (The two
people have been arrested for other crimes in the past.) 8. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Police in Lianshan District Break into a
Practitioner's Home On February 4, 2002, the neighbor of practitioner Huang Xiukun (alias)
reported her to the police. The local police station then tricked Huang and two
other practitioners into going to the police station. The guards also took away
the practitioner's Dafa books, pictures of the Teacher, and an audio cassette
player from Huang's home. A few hours later, they released the three
practitioners. Around noon on April 13, 2002, several plain-clothed police officers knocked
on the door and windows of Huang's apartment, loudly asking Huang to open the
door. The noise disturbed the neighbors. Huang hid on her neighbor's balcony.
Seeing that no one opened the door for them, the police officer used a master
key to open the door and entered the apartment. As they failed to find Huang,
they immediately left. However, they returned around 9 p.m. that evening. At the
time, Huang's sister, mother, and two daughters were at home. About 8 people
entered the apartment (police guards and staff of the local community office).
They trashed the apartment and frightened the two children out of bed, and
afterwards the children both caught a cold. The persecutors did not find Huang
or anything they wanted, so they left. In May 2002, the persecutors went to Huang's apartment again to harass her
and her family. To avoid further harassment, Huang was forced to leave home, and
she cannot go to work. 9. [Hebei Province] Hebei Public Security Department Calls Perpetrator Zhao
Qingxiang a "Martyr" On May 13, 2002, Hebei TV Station aired the following news item: "On May 12,
2002, Hebei Public Security Department and Women's Association sent people to
salute martyr Zhao Qingxiang's mother." The truth is Zhao in his 40's had been strong and in good shape. However, he
took the lead in persecuting Falun Gong. Recently, he contracted an acute
disease that took his life in only a few days. He died in a hospital. Dissection
of his corpse showed that all of his vital organs were putrefied. Zhao's sudden death shocked and scared many perpetrators of the Shijiazhuang
City Police; and the persecution of Dafa practitioners was dramatically reduced. The Hebei Public Security Department called Zhao a "martyr" in order to
comfort the persecutors, yet many police guards have learned the truth about
Falun Gong and the persecution. They are not willing to work themselves to death
for a political hoodlum. 10. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] A Practitioner Dies Because of Police
Persecution On June 13, 2002, some police guards went to the home of practitioner Su
Lanzhou and his wife (both are practitioners). Su's wife was forced to jump from
the 6th floor and died. Currently, the wicked police guards are hiding near Su's
apartment building in order to arrest practitioners that visit Su. We urgently
call for kind-hearted people and related international organizations to stop
these acts of state terrorism. On June 3, 2002 Police officer Han Ming from Anning Police Sub-Department led
some guards and tricked practitioner Lu Yuying from her work unit. She was then
abducted to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Class. On June 13, police guards from Anning Police and Qilihe Police
Sub-Departments ransacked practitioner He Yingguo's home and arrested his wife
Nie Ying as well as 10 other practitioners. The guards also hid near He's home
in order to arrest more practitioners. On the afternoon of June 14, 2002, around Lanzhou City, a huge corona
appeared around the sun, which lasted for 2 hours. We hope that people can
understand that practitioners are using their lives to wake up your consciences,
telling you that Falun Dafa is good, and that Falun Dafa is a righteous
cultivation way. 11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Two Collaborators' Crimes A. Han Shiqiang lives in Huanggu District of Shenyang City. In 2001, Zhang
"enlightened" along an evil path inside Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp, and since
then has been persecuting Dafa practitioners. As a sales representative of Anli
Company, Zhang slanders Dafa while he is selling the products. According to a
police officer who knows the truth about him, Zhang works for the local "610
Office" and goes there to get his paychecks and bonuses (receiving hundreds of
Yuan for each practitioner he helps to arrest). Under the disguise of delivering
Dafa materials, Zhang's wife collects evidence to facilitate the arrest of
practitioners. It is believed that some practitioners have already been arrested
because of this couple. B. Wu Chuanjin lives in Lingkong Second Street in Tiexi District, Shenyang
City. Wu's phone number: 86-24-25917988. At the end of 2000, Wu "enlightened"
along an evil path inside Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp. Since then, Wu has taken
the lead in persecuting Dafa practitioners. Recently, some practitioners phoned
him and clarified the truth to him, yet he doesn't want to give up the fame and
interest he gets from Anli Company. He "closely follows the government" and
continues to persecute practitioners. Recently, several practitioners have been
