[Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Secret Meeting at Panlong Lake of
"610 Offices" from Every Province
According to reliable sources, on June 24, 2002, "610 Offices" [an agency
specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each
level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary
systems] from every province all over the country will have a secret meeting
in Shijiazhuang City. The meeting will last for three or four days, with over a
hundred people expected to attend. The purpose of the meeting is to organize and
deploy another round of persecution against practitioners. The details are under
investigation.
[Hongya County, Sichuan Province] Record of Crimes Committed by Yang Maoxiang
in the No.1 Section of Hongya County's Police Department
Yang Maoxiang, a police officer in the No.1 Section of Hongya County's Police
Department, is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Since July 22,
1999 he has applied all kinds of brutal methods to torture local practitioners.
He often led policemen to menace Falun Gong practitioners with guns. If
practitioners did not cooperate, he threatened that they would be shot along
with felons condemned to death. Still, he could not change practitioners'
determined hearts. He often led policemen to break into and ransack
practitioners' homes and their relatives' homes. These persecutors intimidated
and threatened practitioners and their relatives. They even claimed they would
kill all the practitioner families' members or would involve all the relatives
in their persecution. The practitioners' relatives are living in terror.

[Hubei Province] Village Leader: "Eventually I Have Learned How Jiang Frames
Falun Gong."
In Hubei Province, from Dafa practitioners' widespread truth-clarifying
efforts, people have begun to understand. One day a village leader asked a
practitioner for the truth-clarifying VCD in the presence of many village
leaders. Other leaders asked him, "How dare you practice Falun Gong?" The leader
replied, "I am not practicing, but I want to know the truth." Several days
later, the practitioner asked the leader about his opinions after he watched the
truth-clarifying VCD. He answered, "Now I understand how Jiang frames Falun
Gong. Falun Gong is good."
[Guilin City, Guangxi Province] Dafa Practitioners Song Yudong, Tang Chunlei
and Several Other Practitioners Sent to a Forced Labor Camp
At the end of April, Dafa practitioners Song Yudong, Tang Chunlei and several
other practitioners from Xing'an County and Quanzhou County in the Guilin Area,
Guangxi Province were sentenced to three years of forced labor. Some of them
have already been sent to Guangxi Province's Female Forced Labor Camp and
Guangxi Province's No. 1 Forced Labor Camp.
[Hebei Province] Boundless Power of Dafa; Righteous Thoughts Break Through
Brainwashing Class
A brainwashing class was planned to open in a certain county of Hebei
Province. On June 8, practitioners heard it was going to begin on June 10. All
personnel for the brainwashing class were ready. The same day, most
practitioners in this county found out about this. Then we sent forth righteous
thoughts at the top of each hour, to eliminate evils in other dimensions. On
June 9, we also distributed and posted flyers in the town and villages to expose
the wicked intention of the brainwashing class. With their powerful, righteous
thoughts, practitioners completely foiled the plan of opening the brainwashing
class that was organized by these corrupt officials. Meanwhile, a practitioner
walked out of a detention center with righteous thoughts. A metal door could not
keep this practitioner locked up after he easily freed himself from handcuffs.
This experience again manifested the mighty power of Dafa and righteous
thoughts.
[Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Situation of Female Practitioners
Detained in Room 110 at Shijiazhuang City's No. 1 Detention Center
On June 19, 2001, Xinhua Street Police Precinct detained Ms. Wei Tianchen and
Shijiazhuang City's Qiaoxi Court sentenced her to four years of imprisonment. On
January 23, 2001, she appealed to the Intermediate People's Court.
On November 2, 2001, persons from the "9.28" Special Cases Group of
Shijiazhuang City's Qiaodong Police Precinct kidnapped Ms. Liu Runling and
arrested her on February 10, 2002. Now she has been sent to Shijiazhuang City's
Qiaoxi People's Prosecutor.
Ms. A was arrested and detained at Shijiazhuang City's Xinhua Street Police
Precinct on December 27, 2001.
Ms. C was detained at Shijiazhuang City's Xinhua Street Police Precinct on
December 27, 2001.
Ms. Zhao Weihong was detained at Shijiazhuang City's Qiaodong Police Precinct
on September 20, 2001. Now Shijiazhuang City's Qiaodong District Court has
sentenced her.
Ms. He Lanhua was detained at Shijiazhuang City's Youyi Street Police
Precinct on March 12, 2002. Shijiazhuang City's Qiaoxi District People's
Prosecutor has taken the trial as No. A1 File. Detailed information is
unavailable.
[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioners Ms. Xu Shuqin,
Ms. Zhang Yufang, and Liu Xiaoyan
Ms. Xu Shuqin, about 50 years old, is a Dafa practitioner from Dalian City's
Developmental District, living at Uptown Hongmei. Around April 25, she went out
at night and then disappeared. Her whereabouts are unknown as of this time. The
police might have arrested her.
Ms. Zhang Yufang is a Dafa practitioner and lives at Cuizhu, Uptown
Developmental District. She disappeared on her way back from visiting her
family. It was reported that police secretly arrested her.
Police forcibly took away Dafa practitioner Liu Xiaoyan from his/her home.
[China] Dafa Practitioners in Jail Unceasingly Clarify the Truth about Falun
Gong; Chinese Central TV Station's Program "Focal Point Discussions" Has No
Audience
Although we were held in a detention center, we still tried our best to
clarify the truth to people and enlighten those people who have a good attitude
toward Dafa.
On May 13, World Falun Dafa Day, guards in the detention center distributed a
newspaper, which published the criminal case of the "murdering daughter," faked
by the TV program "Focal Point Discussions," to each cell and attempted to
slander and frame Dafa. But the result was that more and more people became
clear-minded and didn't believe the TV and newspaper's false propaganda, as they
had some understanding about Dafa practitioners.
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Precinct Policemen from the Shiqiaokou District
Use Violence in Public; Kind-Hearted Young Man Put into Forced Labor Camp for
Two Years
Section leader Jin from Wuhan City's Shiqiaokou District Police Precinct
often violently arrested and brutally tortured Dafa practitioners. A group of
policemen surrounded an approximately 20-year-old Dafa practitioner and beat him
up in the street. More than ten policemen punched and kicked him. Afterwards
they took him to the police precinct and beat him for three nights and two days,
with sticks, straps, electric baton and a wooden stool. They didn't allow him to
sleep. They trampled on his head and face, and hung him up while beating him.
The handcuffs deeply cut into his flesh and even exposed the bone. He bled
profusely from wounds all over his body.
This practitioner's neighbors and classmates all considered him to be very
kind since childhood. He has never said dirty words, not to mention slander
others. Because he was sick he learned Falun Gong together with his mother. From
reading the book (Zhuan Falun) he learned the principles of how to be a
good person. He followed Teacher's words on how to live, to work and to
cooperate with friends. He continually improved himself. This good young man was
sentenced to two years of forced labor just because he practices Falun Gong.
[Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province] Criminal Record of Yangma Township
Supervisor
Luo Xiaoming is director of Yangma Township, Chongzhou City, Sichuan
Province. In order to get promoted, he often beats practitioners, constantly
takes his men to break into practitioners' homes, paints slanderous phrases
against Teacher and Dafa on the streets and walls, organizes personnel to arrest
practitioners by staking out certain spots and sends police cruisers to monitor
practitioners' activities. In April 2002 he ordered a gang to break into the
home of practitioner Ms. Yang Xiuyu from No.5 Team and confiscated some Dafa
materials. They took Yang to the Police Station and tried to extort 3,000 Yuan [200-300
Yuan is average monthly income in rural area of China] from Yang's family
members. As the family had been previously extorted many times, they had no
money to hand in this time. As of now, Yang is still being detained.

[Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Several Practitioners Sentenced to Long Term
Imprisonment
In June 2001, Dafa practitioners Ms. Wang Ping, Ms Gao Wenxia, Mr. Zhang
Xiangfa and Mr. Yan Sanming were detained at the No.1 Detention Center in
Yingcheng City for distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. In March 2002,
they were sentenced to long-term imprisonment. Ms. Wang Ping was sentenced to
seven years imprisonment, Ms. Gao Wenxia four years, Mr. Zhang Xiangfa and Yan
Sanming three years.
Dafa practitioner Zhang Hongbin from Jingshan County was persecuted for
making Dafa truth-clarifying materials. He has been detained at Jingshan
County's No.1 Detention Center since December 2001. He has been sentenced to
seven years of imprisonment. At present he is still detained at Jingshan
County's No.1 Detention Center.
Dafa practitioner Chen Zhongtao from Jingshan County used to be a commander
of the armed police in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province. As he insisted on
practicing Dafa after July 20, 1999, he was detained by the army for six months.
In July 2000 he went to Beijing to appeal and was afterwards detained nearly 17
months, back and forth, between Jingshan County's No.1 and No.2 Detention
Centers. In November 2001 he was released. In mid May 2002 he was arrested when
the truth-clarifying materials center in Wuhan City was destroyed. He is now
detained at Jingshan County's No.1 Detention Center. The authorities are
preparing to sentence him to long-term imprisonment. The practitioner is on a
hunger strike to protest this illegal mistreatment.
[Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] List of Names and Criminal Records of Lawless
Policemen; Includes One Death by Torture
Since July 20, 1999, personnel from Ziyang City's Police Department have been
knowingly violating the law. At this time, director Liang Shengquan has already
signed over 100 arrest-and-sentencing warrants against Dafa practitioners.
Recently, they extended the detention term of practitioner Li Zhenghua by three
years. That practitioner had just been released and was transferred to the
Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp. Practitioner He Zhenyue disappeared after being
detained numerous times by Ziyang City's Police Department personnel. On
February 3, 2002, Li was again put into Pi County's Detention Center. On April
10, this practitioner was tortured to death at Chengdu City's Detention Center.
Breaking into and searching practitioners' homes at any time has become
routine work for policemen. Especially recently, policemen have been
continuously searching several practitioners' homes. Since last year,
collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to
brainwashing and torture] that just came out of labor camps, including Liu
Bo and Li Deyu who had been bought off, have been cooperating with police to
harass Dafa practitioners. Disguised in various forms, Li Deyu has been actively
spying on and entrapping Dafa practitioners and was rewarded by the "610
Office." Wu Jian, the former director of the Political Committee and Dong
Shihong, a leader of policemen who had been trying really hard to persecute Dafa
practitioners, have already received karmic retribution by losing their posts.
