By a Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Since August 1999, I have been working as a truck driver for a family owned business. Working with me are two loaders who contribute to the duties of transporting goods.

When the boss learned that I was a Dafa practitioner, he threatened me, saying, "If you keep practicing, I'll fire you!" In reply, I smiled at him. Since the business wasn't doing well, the two loaders who were working with me were laid off. I said to my boss, "Let me take on the loaders' work!" Uncertain at first, the boss then allowed me to do the loading duties. I was now taking the responsibilities of three people. The boss was happy to see that I was an honest and hard worker. Later, he laid off the car driver also, and asked me to do it, so then I took on the workload of four people. Throughout my one-year contact with him, he witnessed my sincere efforts and changed his hostile attitude towards Dafa.

In September 2001, the company discontinued its operations, and I was unemployed; however, in March 2002, my former boss introduced me to his relative's family business and recommended me for the truck driver position. With his recommendation, I was hired. As I worked for this new company, I continued clarifying the truth of Dafa to everyone I met.

The office where I now work is about 50 kilometers away from a construction site. The location is pretty remote, so I often pick up some passengers for free and tell them the truth of Dafa. I sometimes tell the passengers, "I am a Dafa practitioner. If you want to show your gratitude, you owe your thanks to Mr. Li Hongzhi. He taught us to be kind and generous. Actually there are many other Dafa practitioners who have cultivated better than me."

The work on the construction site is very hard. When I have no driving tasks, I help them with tasks such as pulling a concrete cart, or loading concrete mixtures, without asking for payment. Moved by my actions, they wondered why I helped them do such difficult work while asking for nothing in return. I would then say to them, "It's our teacher, Li Hongzhi, who tells us to do so..." I told them the truth of Falun Dafa at the same time. The workers smiled at me and replied, "Nowadays you can only find such kind people among Dafa practitioners..."

I seized every opportunity that I saw to help others. There are a variety of ways to tell the truth of Dafa to people. We should find the method that best suits ourselves in order to achieve the best effect for saving people.
