By a Dafa Disciple

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, I met a fellow Falun Dafa practitioner with whom I had been detained in a labor camp. I was greatly inspired by his understanding of sending forth righteous thoughts. Having read cultivation books before, he knew that when a cultivator reaches his final stage of cultivation, his master will tell him something truly important, which will be the power weapon that the cultivator can use to defeat the evil and reach consummation. When he learned of Master's Fa-rectification formulas in the labor camp, he was very excited. He calmed himself down and recited the formulas when he meditated, when he was persecuted by the evil, and even in his dreams. He kept reciting the formulas constantly until his mind became blank, clear and transparent. At that time, most of the other Dafa practitioners did not pay enough attention or paid no attention to sending forth righteous thoughts; they just tried to stop the evil's persecution in human ways. During that period of time, practitioners were tortured every day and some wrote the "repentance letter" [a form used by the evil to indicate that the practitioner has given up practicing Falun Dafa] under pressure. He acted according to what he had enlightened to, and in less than two months, he walked out of the labor camp in a dignified manner.

Why did the evil let him go? (His prison term was not extended even though the documents requesting extension of his term had been submitted. In the same period of time, my term was extended twice.) From the evil's point of view, they could not change the determined heart of this Dafa disciple. More importantly, this disciple kept reciting the Fa-rectification formulas every day and his enlightened side and many enlightened beings from different levels were helping him and cleaning out a large number of vicious beings. So, keeping him inside the labor camp for even one more day would be a big loss to them (the evil beings). Therefore, they just let him go. Although I was determined in my belief, I did not fully realize the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts and hardly paid any attention to it. A Dafa disciple like me was just the right target for the evil to selfishly vent their anger (e.g. my detention term was extended).

From the perspective of the Fa, sending righteous thoughts is for the eradication of the evil. "China's Labor Re-education Camps are dark dens of evil forces." ("Suffocate the Evil") Since the evil has detained so many Dafa disciples in labor camps, detention centers and brainwashing classes, it would require a lot of vicious beings in other dimensions to carry out the detention and brainwashing, therefore these are places where the evil beings gather. If those fellow practitioners detained in the labor camps, detention centers and brainwashing classes can realize the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts from the perspective of the Fa and keep sending forth righteous thoughts every day, it will destroy the dark dens of the evil forces. This way, the places where Dafa disciples are being persecuted will truly turn into the very focal points of eradicating the evil. In cooperation with the overall Fa-rectification situation, Dafa disciples across the world are sending forth righteous thoughts toward the head of the evil at chosen times, and Beijing Dafa disciples are doing the same in close proximity. This will naturally result in eliminating the evil factors that controls the head of evil, destroying the dens of the evil forces and paralyzing the "610" system. [An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] However rampant the evil may be, it cannot prevent Dafa disciples from creating a peaceful period of time for clarifying the truth to save people.
