"Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination" (Dafa is Indestructible)

Relentless Persecution of Falun Gong Causes Financial Crisis for Chinese Government

(Clearwisdom.net) On Minghui Net it was reported that a former "610" office worker, who had been forced into his "work," complained to everyone he met about the hardships he endured working in the "610" office. Others in his workplace, a forced-labor camp in Shandong Province, became frightened and stayed away from the "610" office. He was again conscripted to the "610" office the next time it needed help. Recently, he returned to the labor camp to complain again. This time, however, what he complained about was not the hardship working there, but instead about the abject poverty of the "610" office. According to what he said, besides having to work hard, he had to put much of his own money into supporting his work and was therefore requesting the forced labor camp to compensate him for his financial loss. Otherwise he would not continue his work in the "610" office. The labor camp was also having a hard time. Since last year the camp acted under orders to set up a sole-duty brigade for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners and a lot of labor and money had been put into it. The financial allocation from higher authorities was far from enough and much money used in the persecution was from the camp itself, which had dragged the camp into a mire of financial crisis. It was said that this year's bonus for the policemen in the camp is a headache for the director and other material benefits are by far not as good as in the past years, although that city is one of the quite financially advanced cities in China.

Therefore, it can be seen that serious financial crises are befalling "610" offices and the subordinate organizations which persecute Falun Dafa practitioners in China. In fact, the whole economic situation in China is grim. Stock prices have fallen universally and heavily. College graduates have been facing a hard winter in their job search. On January 30, 2002, an article was posted on Clearwisdom.net, ( "About the Evil Force's Economic Crisis and Financial Transfusion: Now Jiang and His Puppets Create an Illusion of Prosperity." ) As stated in the article, the Chinese government, with its present economic resources, has difficulty upholding the scale and intensity of the persecution of Falun Gong. The evil forces are facing a serious economic crisis. Let us send forth righteous thoughts together to eradicate the old force's arrangement in the economy and to have poverty and frustration befall those vicious persons persecuting Dafa, making them unable to continue the persecution.
